Anthony Fantano Shares Joke Drake Diss Track Under His Alter Ego

Drake has been under fire from all sides recently. Last month, Kendrick Lamar surprised fans by taking aim at both him and J. Cole in his verse on “Like That.” But now the “Rich Baby Daddy” is catching strays from all kinds of artists. Rick Ross and Metro Boomin both took direct shots at him and fans think they uncovered sneakier disses from The Weeknd and Future. But one person Drake probably wasn’t expecting to hear from was the internet’s busiest music nerd, Anthony Fantano. More specifically, Fantano’s alter ego Cal Chuchesta, who he’s used to make comedy music before.

The track dropped earlier today on YouTube and doesn’t appear to even have a title. It was simply uploaded with the video name “Drake Has 24 Hours To Respond.” The video has already racked up tens of thousands of views and the comments are full of fans cracking jokes about Drake and his recent beefs. The song itself is extremely chaotic and spends much of its intro unveiling various pieces of instrumentation that don’t go together. The song itself is backed by bizarre samples and even includes a joke Pusha T feature. Check out the chaotic joke song below.

Anthony Fantano Drops His Own Comedy Diss Track

Fantano has a history with Drake. He’s shared some controversial reviews of albums like Scorpion and Certified Lover Boy where he was very critical of Drizzy stacking his tracklists. Last year he gave a 5/10 reviews to Drake’s newest album For All The Dogs and then the same score to the Scary Hours 3 EP that followed.

Despite having criticized the rapper’s music in the past, Fantano was impressed by Drake’s recent diss response. He shared a video breaking the song down and claimed that “Drake actually cooked.” What do you think of Anthony Fantano dropping a joke diss track? Do you think any more rappers will take shots at Drake in the coming months? Let us know in the comment section below.

Pusha T Reportedly Isn’t Concerned With Recent Drake Beefs

Everybody is talking about Drake recently as he’s found himself in a series of beefs. It seemingly came out of nowhere following Kendrick Lamar’s verse on “Like That” where he took shots at both Drake and J. Cole. Since then there have been various levels of disses thrown out by the likes of Metro Boomin, Rick Ross, and even suspected shots from The Weeknd and Future. All of the attention being paid to the rapper’s rivalries has many reminiscing on one of the most memorable beefs of his career when he squared off with Pusha T in 2018.

The pair famously inherited a beef dating back to Push’s Clipse days where his issues with Lil Wayne first began. After throwing out some lyrics aimed at Drake on his album Daytona, Drake his back with his “Duppy Freestyle” a song that admittedly many fans felt was a solid response. But it was met with one of the most notorious diss tracks of all time. Pusha T returned with “The Story Of Adidon: which famously revealed to the world that Drake had a secret child while also taking shots at his own fatherhood. Drake may have been justifiably worried about Push chiming in while he’s seemingly being attacked from all sides. But Push reportedly has no interest in re-sparking their legendary beef. Check out the clip sharing that claim below.

Pusha T Not Engaging With Any New Drake Beef

In the wake of Drake’s new response track dropping, Joe Budden assembled an emergency podcast episode to break it down. He grabbed a number of guests to join him to discuss the song. When the subject of Pusha T comes up one of his guests weighs in.

He claims to have just talked to Push and revealed that fans shouldn’t hold their breath waiting for a response. What do you think of Pusha T sitting out of a spat of recent beefs with Drake? Are you surprised he’s choosing not to weigh in on his former adversary? Let us know in the comment section below.

Drake Told Metro Boomin To Make Some Drums, So He Sent Some To The Producer Via A Drumline In Atlanta

At long last, Drake finally came through with “Push Ups,” a diss track responding to all the hate that has come his way lately. He has many targets on the tune, but in one line in particular, he goes directly after Metro Boomin, saying, “Metro, shut your ho-ass up and make some drums, n****.”

Now, Drake is continuing to lean into the drums thing with some social media barbs.

He started with a clip from Nick Cannon’s classic 2002 movie Drumline, but with Metro’s face edited over Cannon’s.

Later, he upped the ante even more: Drake shared a video of an actual drumline performing outside of Atlanta’s Magic City strip club. The band was presumably hired by Drake, as he captioned the clip, “From me to you,” alongside a crossed fingers emoji. Notably, Future and Metro had some promotional activity happening outside the club just days earlier.

Meanwhile, Drake also went after Future on “Push Ups,” rapping, “I could never be nobody number-one fan / Your first number one, I had to put it in your hand.” That was a response to a Future “We Don’t Trust You” lyric: “You a n**** number one fan, dog / Sneak dissin’, I don’t understand, dog / Pillowtalkin’, actin’ like a fed, dog / I don’t need another fake friend, dog.”

The Game Takes Surprising Side In Drake And Kendrick Lamar Beef

Everyone in rap is talking about the beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. Last month, Kendrick sparked the biggest rap story of 2024 so far with his appearance on the new Future & Metro Boomin album. He appears on the song “Like That” where he deconstructed the idea of a “big three” in rap music alongside Drake and J. Cole. Now that Drake has formally hit back with a response track there’s a full-on major rap beef at the heart of the genre. That’s caused tons and tons of artists and commentators from the rap world to weigh in. The most recent rapper to share their thoughts is The Game.

The Game and Kendrick Lamar share west coast roots and have collaborated twice before. Early in his career, Kendrick features on the song “The City” from Game’s 2011 project The R.E.D. Album. A few years later in 2015, they teamed up again on a Game project for the song “On Me” from The Documentary 2. That’s part of the reason fans were so surprised when he recently made a post implying he was taking Drake’s side in the beef. He shared a snippet of Drake’s 2015 hit “Energy,” which was met with a variety of reactions from fans. Check out the post he made below.

Fans are still reacting to a diss track that Drake dropped over the weekend. In the song he responds to shots from Kendrick but also hits back at artists like Metro Boomin and Rick Ross. Rap commentators like Joe Budden and DJ Akademiks quickly began breaking down the song. Drake’s team has also already begun teasing even more responses to recent disses that could be dropping soon.

What do you think of The Game siding with Drake in his beef with Kendrick Lamar despite collaborating with Kendrick in the past? Who do you think is coming out on top in the beef so far? Let us know in the comment section below.

Joe Budden Reacts To Drake Diss Track, Reveals His Favorite Bar

The entire rap world is currently reacting to beef between two of its biggest stars. It began last month when Kendrick Lamar took shots at Drake during his feature on the Future & Metro Boomin song “Like That.” The rap world was stunned by the development and the attention the song received caused it to debut at the number one spot on the Hot 100. One of the loudest voices in hip hop, Joe Budden, had plenty to say about the developments as they happened.

That’s why it’s no surprise that Budden is also reacting to Drake’s highly-anticipated response. He called together an emergency podcast to react to the entire track and he had plenty to say about it alongside his guests. They talked at length about how Drake directed responses to Kendrick, Rick Ross, and Metro Boomin without taking aim at Future. Budden even revealed that his favorite bar in the entire song is a shot at Metro that revolves around his production and making drums. Check out the clip of Budden and his co-hosts cracking up at the bar below.

Joe Budden Loves Drake’s Metro Boomin Bar

The rap beef world moves pretty quickly, so quickly that Rick Ross has already fired back at Drake. In a podcast discussing his response, Mal made some revelations about Drake’s reaction to it. He claimed that after hearing Ross claim he was richer, Drake turned off the track. Rick Ross has also been working overtime recently from claims that Drake got a nose job to his repeated attempts to flip Lil Yachty’s allegiance away from his former collaborator.

Last year, Drake claimed that he was going to take some time away from music. At the time he probably wasn’t expecting the barrage of disses that would follow. What do you think of Joe Budden’s take on Drake’s response track to various recent disses against him? Do you agree with him that the Metro Boomin drums bar is the best in the song? Let us know in the comment section below.

[LISTEN] Lupe Fiasco Claims That Drake Is A “Better Rapper” Than Kendrick Lamar

Screenshot 2024 04 16 at 10.59.22 AM

During this relentless week of back and forth diss records from those who many claim to be the best in the game, certified slang spitter Lupe Fiasco may have just dragged himself into the ongoing rap beefs by making the bold claim that Drake is a “better rapper” than Kendrick Lamar.

In an interview with Aye Verb on X Spaces yesterday(April 15), Lupe says that he didn’t hear Kendrick’s “Like That” diss aimed at Future and Metro Boomin, but he said that he heard Drake’s “Push Ups(Drop And Give Me 50). When asked who he sees as the better emcee, The Cool rapper answered without hesitation, “Drake.”

“I think Kendrick’s a better technically skilled performer but I don’t think he’s a better rapper,” said Lupe.

He goes on saying, “I think he’s a great performer. I think he’s a great rapper. I think he makes great albums. I think he’s a great conceptualist. I think he’s a great mind. I think what he does for the culture is amazing. I love him to death. I do not think that he’s this amazing lyricist, though.”

He later apologized for his comments, saying, “Maybe I should have just left it alone. Even though my impetus was the ‘Control’ verse … I apologize for even engaging and talking about n-ggas’ careers. I’ll never do that shit again.”

50 Cent Jabs ‘Hungry and Racist’ Rick Ross After Reading Drake’s Shade

50Cent024

It was only a matter of time before 50 Cent decided to dive into the Rick Ross and Drake beef. With it being forever up with Ross, 50 took some time to highlight a key point of Drake’s text exchange with his mom.

In case you missed it, Drake shared a curious text message from his mother. Drake’s mom asks about rumors of him getting a nose job, as detailed by Rick Ross in the “Champagne Moments” diss track. His mother says she would have one, too.

Drake explained: “It’s coming from Rick Ross the guy I did songs with he’s gone loopy off the Mounjaro he hasn’t eaten ind ats and it’s turned him angry and racist he’s performing at proms for money it’s bad don’t worry we’ll handle it.”

Then Drake tagged Rick Ross: “@richforever you’re one nosey goof.”

50 Cent saw the message and had a jab at Ross over Mounjaro, a medication for diabetes and weight loss.

He also thinks the entire game is getting smoke.

Rick Ross wasted no time. After Drake sent shots his way on “Push Ups,” Rozay responded with “Champagne Moments.”

The track, dropped off to DJ Akademiks for a premiere within two hours of Drake’s launch, raises accusations of plastic surgery and reveals why he unfollowed The Boy.

You can hear it all below.

Lupe Fiasco

Lupe Fiasco is weighing in on the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef. His take may shock some in the Hip-Hop community.

Appearing in a Spaces conversation, Lupe stated that he thinks Drake is a better rapper than K. Dot.

“Drake got bars,” Lupe said. “So I would give it to Drake. I think Kendrick’s a better technically skilled performer but I don’t think he’s a better rapper.”

DJ Whoo Kid Teases Another Diss From Drake: “More Coming Soon”

DJ Whoo Kid was the first voice fans heard on Drake’s “Push Ups.” It was a surprising inclusion, but it made perfect sense given Whoo Kid’s affiliation with 50 Cent and the classic rap feuds of the 2000s. He knows how to play the game from the hype man perspective, and that’s exactly what he did for Drake on Instagram. A day after “Push Ups” leaked online, Whoo Kid hopped on the platform to tease more disses from the Canadian superstar.

Whoo Kid didn’t provide fans with any specifics regarding the diss tracks, but he did tell them to get ready. “More coming soon,” he wrote over a screenshot from the comedy film Major Payne. Whoo Kid’s involvement in “Push Ups” makes him a legitimate source of information regarding Drake disses, and the Reddit thread r/Drizzy pointed out that Whoo Kid’s vocals resemble his introductions on the old G-Unit mixtapes. The same mixtapes that established Whoo Kid’s brand and allowed 50 to take shots at dozens of other rappers. As a result, some theorize that Drake will drop a G-Unit style mixtape hosted by Whoo Kid. The operative word here being “theorize.”

DJ Whoo Kid Was On Drake’s “Push Ups”

Drake certainly has enough enemies to fill up an entire mixtape. He’s currently beefing with Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, The Weeknd, Future and Metro Boomin. He took shots at all of them on “Push Ups,” but made it clear that he had more to say. “This ain’t even everything I know, don’t wake the demon up,” he rapped in the second verse. Whoo Kid’s relationship with Drake dates back a decade, but the DJ claims that he never gets personally invested in beefs.

During a 2016 interview with BBC Radio, DJ Whoo Kid said he always made a point of keeping things professional. “Never choose sides,” he asserted. “I been with 50 for a million years [but] I never choose sides. I know the levels of how deep the beef is, so depending on how deep the beef is, it puts a plug on whether I play the [diss] song or not on my show.” It doesn’t sound like there’s a plug on the tracks Whoo Kid and Drake have been cooking up, however. Hopefully the DJ’s claims of “soon” come to fruition.
