Styles P Recalls DMX Dissing Ja Rule On “We Don’t Give A F*ck”

Styles P says that DMX was dissing Ja Rule in the lyrics to his 1998 track, “We Don’t Give A F*ck,” on which he and Jadakiss are featured. Styles reflected on the collaboration during an interview on The Breakfast Club alongside his The LOX partner, Sheek Louch, earlier this week.

“The song was about Ja,” Styles told Charlamagne Tha God during the show. “You didn’t know that? X and Ja having beef. They was dogs. He’s in it, I’m in it with him. Y’all had to know that! Listen to the lyrics!” DMX included the track on his second studio album, Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood.

Styles P Attends DMX’s Memorial Service

DMX once addressed his relationship with Ja Rule during an interview with HipHopDX back in 2002. At the time, he discussed how the two have very similar styles of rapping. “It’s not like I’m the only one thinking about this,” he said. “N****s ask me about this shit everyday. So what I’m gonna do? Sit here and do nothing about this sh*t? That ain’t right. I could see if the n***a talked like that regularly. How I talk is how I rap.” He also recalled a specific incident at a club in Los Angeles when he felt Rule was being disrespectful. After bringing him drinks in the club, he ran into Rule again two weeks later: “Same circumstances. Some kid walks over to me and says ‘Ja says he is over there.’ I’m like ‘Aight, is he gonna come over?’ ‘Nah, he said come over there.’ Get the f*ck out of here man, I already extended my hand once. Give me the same courtesy. You can’t do the same as me? I sent him right back over there. You’d think Ja would come over here after all that. Nothin!’ I’m like, “f*ck you.””

Styles P Discusses DMX & Ja Rule

Elsewhere in The LOX’s appearance on The Breakfast Club, they discussed rap lyrics as evidence in the courtroom, Andre 3000’s new album, as well as Diddy’s recent lawsuits, and much more. Be on the lookout for further updates on The LOX on HotNewHipHop.

Charleston White Calls Sexyy Red A “Dirty Leg H*e”

During his recent appearance on Cam Newton’s Funky Friday podcast, Charleston White shared his take on Sexyy Red. The internet personality has been a vocal critic of the “Shake Yo Dreads” performer for some time, never holding back from hurling insults at her online. White was playing a word association game with Newton, revealing what he thinks of different celebrities.

He tore into nearly all of them, calling Jada Pinkett Smith a “f*cked up b*tch,” her husband Will “gay,” and of course, throwing shade at Sexyy. When asked what words he thinks of upon hearing the “SkeeYee” rapper’s name, he called her a “dirty leg h*e.” Clearly, he’s not a fan. This is far from the first time White has directed hate at the hitmaker, suggesting that her sexually explicit lyrics mean she’s just as promiscuous in her personal life.

Charleston White Insults Sexyy Red Again

At the end of September, for example, he seemingly accused the St. Louis native of having an STD. He posted a photo of her on Instagram, circling what he thought was a blemish near her lip. “I ain’t lied yet! Keep eating that brown booty hole and f*cking Raw,” he wrote, referring to lyrics from her fan favorite track, “Pound Town.” She didn’t appear to be fazed by the diss, which makes sense considering White has hot takes on nearly everyone these days.

Earlier this week, he even weighed in on King Harris’ recent altercation with his parents at an Atlanta Falcons game, claiming that T.I. should have “kicked that boy’s a**” a long time ago. “You had that boy showing out at the Falcon game and embarrassing the family,” he added. According to him, the incident would never have happened had the rapper implemented corporal punishment. What do you think of Charleston White’s take on Sexyy Red? Do you think he crossed the line? CyHi The Prynce Clarifies Dissing Joe Budden In New Music Video With Pusha T

CyHi The Prynce is anticipating the release of his next album The Story Of Mr. EGOT in a pretty big and inflammatory way. However, he doesn’t think that the immediate reaction to this method is as big of a deal as the Internet is making it out to be. Moreover, the rapper recently released his six-minute-long music video for the single “Mr. Put That S**t On” featuring Pusha T. In the visual, he slaps a Joe Budden stand-in in the face and features a skit of The Average Joe Show, which might be a shot at the Slaughterhouse affiliate’s self-titled podcast. Still, with his latest Instagram post, the frequent Kanye West collaborator explained the idea behind this, and how it doesn’t have much to do with their established beef.

“In the Average Joe Show from the scene in “Mr. Put That Sh!t On”, the goal was to transform a controversial topic into an artistic masterpiece with humor, theatrics, and pure entertainment,” CyHi wrote on Instagram on Tuesday (November 28). In addition, the post features Joe Budden praising the track and some more discussion on it, although he didn’t react to the music video.

CyHi Explains Shots At Joe Budden

“Through creative expression, I highlight artists’ challenges, including aspects like criticism and comparisons, balancing personal style and external expectations, staying adaptable to evolving trends, and addressing the difficulties of gaining recognition,” CyHi continued. “Despite these hurdles, many artists, like myself, view criticism as a catalyst for growth, highlighting resilience and intrinsic motivation in our creative journeys.

“This scene isn’t about past beef but addresses these challenges and showcases the importance of creative expression,” he concluded. “Interestingly enough, Joe Budden acknowledged the feature in a recent podcast episode, embracing the role of the ‘sacrificial lamb.’ If you haven’t already, check out the captivating blend of humor and entertainment in my bio! #TheStoriesofMrEGOT

Drake Gets Surprising Response From Wiley After He Posts Skepta Diss

Drake is quite the fan of the U.K hip-hop scene, whether it’s grime, drill, and a whole host of other subgenres and artists. However, his admiration for them might’ve gotten him in the middle of a beef within the Boy Better Know (BBK) collective. For those unaware, Skepta and Wiley are two excellent exponents of grime within this group, but they had a falling out and the latter soon distanced himself from the crew. Moreover, the 6ix God recently posted an old Skep freestyle on his Instagram Story which contains some very pointed shots towards Wiley. His response, though, is probably the most interesting part of this whole exchange.

“How can you be a king when you roll through anywhere?” Skepta spits in the clip that Drake reposted on social media recently. “Wiley, you don’t roll through anywhere, I go anywhere, fam, I’m never scared. You said you rep E3 but you never there, so lemme murk this guy. It’s all in your name, fam, I don’t need to try, I take away the W, I take away the Y. Fix up the other letters, all you do is just lie.”

Drake Reposts Skepta Freestyle: Watch

Meanwhile, Wiley actually had some praise to say for Drake amid folks expecting him to pop off against him. “I’m not gonna lie I actually think Drake is a cold rapper.” Not only that, but the British MC defended ghostwriting claims levied at the Toronto superstar– according to HipHopDX– and posted a video on social media of himself rocking out to Drizzy’s new Scary Hours 3 cut, “Red Button.” Not only that, but when a fan pointed out that he couldn’t have picked this video by accident, Wiley still shrugged it off. “Oh ok well either way we haffi big up the man like Drizzy Marley everytime Yanam Zayin,” he wrote.

Wiley’s Responses

Of course, the OVO mogul is no stranger to beef within rap, but he usually keeps it within his own artistic and stateside lane. It’s entirely possible that he thought this was just a cold freestyle regardless of context, and it’s been a while since he tapped back into that scene. We’ll see if this debate and these responses prompt a change in that anytime soon. On that note, keep checking in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Drake, Skepta, and Wiley.

Hazel-E Slams Cardi B, Insists Nicki Minaj Is On “Top”

During her recent interview with Tasha K, Hazel-E shared her thoughts on Cardi B, and she didn’t hold back. According to her, the “Bongos” performer has no grounds to claim that she’s on “top” right now, particularly when one considers the work that others like Nicki Minaj have done. She hurled quite a few insults the hitmaker’s way, making it clear that she’s not a fan.

Hazel-E’s obviously allowed to have her opinions as to who reigns supreme in the female rap game. Some social media users think she took things a bit too far, however. Notably, she took aim at the fact that Cardi is Latina. Many felt that it was unfair, irrelevant to her argument, and disrespectful.

Hazel-E Weighs In On Cardi B

“When you really like, take Nicki for who she is and her body of work and what she did for female rap, and you don’t want to give her credit?” she begins in a clip from the interview. “It’s like, I’m not no hater a** b*tch, so all this ghetto Cinderella f*ckin’ projects Spanish-a** motherf*ckin’ senorita concita f*ckin’ Spanish Latin female rap b*tch talkin’ bout she the top is cr*zy.” It’s no secret that the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star is on team Nicki, but many think she could have toned it down.

Cardi B was far from the only person Hazel-E spoke about during her interview with Tasha K, however. Elsewhere in the conversation, Hazel-E accused people like her ex Katt Williams, Migos, Remy Ma, Suge Knight, and more of conspiring to take Nicki down. Did you tune into Hazel-E’s interview with Tasha K? What do you think of her take on Cardi B? Do you think her criticism was fair, or did she cross the line? Sexyy Red Fires Back At Blueface’s Mom & Twitter Trolls For Dissing Her Appearance

Sexyy Red is no stranger to getting criticism, and Karlissa Saffold is no stranger to giving it. This is why fans weren’t necessarily surprised when Blueface’s mom hopped on Instagram Live earlier this week to trash the “Pound Town” performer, throwing a few jabs at her appearance. “Sexyy Red look like my grandma Bessie she barely cute, she barely cute,” she told followers. “Stanky Red ain’t either. Stanky Red look like my grandma Bessie, she barely making it, okay?” Karlissa continued, “Stanky Red is like, barely.”

Sexyy Red saw Karlissa’s shade on The Neighborhood Talk, firing back in their comments section. She took the opportunity to bring up Karlissa’s past run-in with Chrisean Rock, the mother of her son’s child and a close friend of the St. Louis native. “Didn’t Chrisean knot chu df up,” she wonders.

Karlissa Saffold Takes Aim At Sexyy Red

The beef follows a bone that Karlissa’s daughter Kaliwae had to pick with Sexyy Red earlier this week concerning her new song, “Free My N***a.” Kali went online to accuse her of stealing her concept for the song. She did a side-by-side comparison of the two tracks’ lyrics and cadences, noting similarities between them. This might explain some of Karlissa’s shade, as the “SkeeYee” songstress has yet to respond to Kaliwae.

Unfortunately, Karlissa’s not the only one taking aim at the rapper these days. She’s also a frequent target for Twitter trolls, who never miss an opportunity to diss her for her looks. One of them put a picture of the hitmaker next to a bizarre bug-looking creature, insinuating they look alive. Luckily, she doesn’t appear to be letting the shade get her down, simply responding “Alright bruh.”

Sexyy Red Responds To Troll

What do you think of Sexyy Red getting clowned for her appearance? How do you feel about her beef with Blueface’s mother, Karlissa Saffold? What about her referencing Chrisean Rock in her response? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Karlissa Saffold Disses Sexyy Red While Ranking Rap Divas & Blueface’s Exes

Blueface and his mom, Karlissa Saffold lack a strong bond between them, and it seems things are often made worse by her decision to near-constantly overly involve herself with his life. The 26-year-old rapper supports himself completely thanks to his work in the music industry and other creative ventures, and has been a father himself for some time now. Even though he doesn’t depend on Saffold for anything, she still feels entitled to criticize the women in his life, giving us whiplash from how quickly her opinions on both Jaidyn Alexis and Chrisean Rock change.

Following the Thanksgiving holiday, Blue’s mom got back to her usual berrating of her extended family members, but she also threw a new name in the mix – Sexyy Red. “I don’t think John ever had, like, a pretty girlfriend,” Saffold reflected to her Instagram followers while chatting about her famous son’s dating history. According to her, Lauren London as a great examples of the kind of “pretty” she hopes to see the “Thotiana” rapper with one day.

Karlissa Saffold Continues to Overly Involve Herself in Blueface’s Life

“Stanky Red ain’t [pretty] either,” Karlissa said, dissing Sexyy Red before comparing her to a much older woman. “[She] look like my grandma’s bestie, like she barely making it. Ok?” Others who fall in the “cute” category are, Chloe Bailey and Cardi B, while Blac Chyna, Kali, Saweetie, and Nicki Minaj, and Yung Miami all meet the reality starlet’s standard of “pretty.” It’s unclear exactly what metrics she uses to measure these rankings, but we can tell Saffold thinks she’s an expert at this point.

On the topic of Karlissa Saffold acting shady toward women half her age, she certainly had a lot to say about Jaidyn Alexis’ BBL after it made an appearance on Blueface’s Instagram Story earlier this month. Her go-to insult lately seems to be adding decades onto her opps lives by comparing them to grandmothers, among other nasty insults. Read what she had to say to her future daughter-in-law at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Millyz Calls Out Machine Gun Kelly With New Diss

Millyz slammed Machine Gun Kelly in a scathing new diss he performed on DJ Cosmic Kev’s The Come Up Show Live, Tuesday. In doing so, he labeled the Mainstream Sellout rapper “goofy” and brought up his recent diss aimed at Jack Harlow while rapping over the beat for N.O.R.E.’s “Blood Money Pt. 3.”

“That goofy white rapper tried to block me out the industry/ Hated on my come-up, I remember that sh*t vividly/ You only dissed on Jack because you know I do ’em viciously,” he said. He further rapped: “Listen, this is light sh*t, I know you won’t respond back/ ‘Cause beyond that, you know we really on that/ Rap a blood sport, Mortal Kombat/ Come on Jack, I do murder for hire, just send a contract.”

Tuesday isn’t the first time that Millyz has called out Machine Gun Kelly. Speaking on VladTV in 2022, he discussed the rapper’s battle with Eminem. “MGK is garbage,” Millyz said at the time. “He can’t rap, but he got a good rockstar image, but like I’m a real rapper. I really break down bars, syllables and words, so I look past image and flow. A lot of white rappers just came through and did that fast flow and said nothing, so he came in with a rockstar image and all of that, but you’re not nice though. Even when the Eminem battle happened, and people’s minds was blown because at the time, they expected MGK to just get blown out. So when he showed any type of resistance, he came in and said a rap, ‘Your beard is weird.’ Name a bar from that song. That sh*t is garbage.”

Millyz Disses MGK

Kelly originally dissed Jack Harlow in a freestyle over JAY-Z and Eminem‘s “Renegade” beat in May. He accused him of stealing Drake’s flow. Be on the lookout for a response from Machine Gun Kelly and further updates on Millyz on HotNewHipHop.

Saucy Santana Continues To Taunt DJ Akademiks

Recently, Saucy Santana took to social media, continuing to take shots at DJ Akademiks amid their beef. Earlier this week, Ak called the performer out for failing to speak up about Cassie’s new lawsuit against Diddy. It includes various damning allegations against the Bad Boy Records founder, including rape, physical abuse, and more.

“Where that h*e a** n***a mysonne and all them ppl who was talmbout ‘Protect Black women’ when some gay n***a was talking about me and his sick r*pe fetish,” DJ Akademiks wrote. “Where them ppl now sticking up for Cassie. Ohhhhhhhh.” Obviously, the situation’s pretty messy. Their beef famously surrounded Saucy Santana sticking up for Yung Miami, who’s in a relationship with Diddy. Ak had claimed that she was disrespectful to the gay community for calling a gay slur amid their own beef, which he denied.

Saucy Santana Antagonizes DJ Akademiks On IG

Now, Saucy Santana’s shared a new Instagram Story featuring his diss track “Me Me In Da Skreets.” He looks unbothered in a selfie, tagging Ak in the post. The song centers around DJ Akademiks’ questionable approach to covering Black women, which has been up for debate amid his beef with Saucy Santana and Yung Miami. Some users called him out when he got emotional during a live stream after Santana threatened to “beat” and sexually assault him, and he claimed that he was too afraid to fire back because he thought he’d get cancelled.

Many noted that he hasn’t ever held back when covering Black women, including Yung Miami. “I was in tears when he laughed and was trolling about my car getting shot up while was 6 months pregnant,” she wrote under a clip of the personality tearfully describing his situation. Royce Da 5’9″ Sends Shots At Lupe Fiasco On New Song

These days, rap beef can feel more personal and combative due to social media and the fact that MCs are finding any and every reason to compete or call each other out. While this is never a good thing, it’s always been a part of hip-hop, and can actually be an entertaining, relevant, and legitimately useful tool in competition, displays of skill, and bettering each other. That is, as long as it’s about the rapping, not about the drama. One of the best current examples of that is the feud between Royce Da 5’9″ and Lupe Fiasco, former podcast co-hosts turned lyrical opponents. On his new song with KXNG Crooked and Benzhan, “Never the Same,” the former seemed to re-spark this fire.

“I’m not here to bury the hatch, it’s just I don’t care to relax,” Royce Da 5’9″ rapped on the cut. “I don’t think that Lupe’s who I should spit my disparity at, I don’t think Mickey Factz is who I should give a charity match.” It’s not a hard diss and might even be interpreted as a peace offering, but the first line paints it in a very particular context. For those unaware, he and Lupe Fiasco started beefing after some light lyrical exchanges as podcast co-hosts on The Lupe & Royce Show. However, when they scrapped the show after getting more serious about their disses, it was clear that they set their sights on dominating each other through their pen.

Lupe Fiasco Gets Shots On New Royce Da 5’9″ Verse: Listen

“You forgot the dude who about the Chi whose was locked inside,” Royce Da 5’9″ rapped on “Silence of the Lambda,” referencing Charles “Chilly” Patton, the Chicago rapper’s longtime manager who’s been behind bars for a while. “Without him, you’d be dead, probably dread standing beside you, fed salmon and lied to, while the red camera disguise you. You violent but where was that for the Craig Kallmans and Kysers?” On the other hand, this is what Lupe Fiasco had for Royce on “Steve Jobs.” “Listening to your track record, I could see you were skipping classics, I did it on my first one and delivered to the masses. Your songs are unmemorable, your verses are impenetrable, I ain’t even listen to that diss record, I only f**k with you ’cause of your interviews.”

Meanwhile, some time after the Detroit MC called Lupe a “b***h” on IG Live, he slightly backtracked. “Do I regret it?” he pondered on The Breakfast Club. “I don’t know if ‘regret’ is the right word, but I’m not happy about saying that, ’cause I don’t think he’s a b***h. I don’t think we should speak to each other that way, but I do understand why I said it, ’cause it was just a reaction. It was a point that [things pushed me] to, and I feel like I gave a lot of warning points. I gave a lot of lead into it, and that’s me knowing myself.” For the record, Royce still likes Lupe on a personal level despite not speaking since their podcast, so this seems like a purely artistic duel. For more on Royce Da 5’9″ and Lupe Fiasco, check back in with HNHH.
