Jay-Z Responds To Being Accused Of Raping A 13-Year-Old With Diddy

Jay-Z is accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl with Diddy in 2000 at an MTV After-Party. NBC News broke the news on Sunday evening (Dec. 8) about the moguls named in a re-filed civil suit by an anonymous individual. In October, the lawsuit was originally filed against Diddy, real name Sean Combs. The claims stem from an alleged incident at a house party following the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards, where the anonymous, then a teenager, accuses both men of sexual assault.

Jay-Z, real name Sean Carter, responded to the allegations in a statement Sunday night, strongly denying the claims and labeling them as “blackmail.” He challenged the plaintiff’s legal team to pursue criminal charges if the accusations were genuine. “These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one.” he stated.

Jay-Z Responds To The New Sexual Assault Lawsuit Including Diddy

The plaintiff claims she was invited to an after-party with drugs and alcohol. She claims she felt “woozy and lightheaded” after consuming one drink and sought refuge in what she thought was an empty bedroom. According to the filing, Combs entered the room alongside a male and a female celebrity. Allegedly, Combs approached her, saying, “You are ready to party,” before restrained and assaulted by Combs and Carter while the female celebrity watched.

This marks the first time Jay-Z named in connection to Diddy in a case involving sexual assault. Diddy battles over a dozen sexual assault lawsuits since settling with former girlfriend Cassie Ventura in December 2023. In repeated statements, Combs’ lawyers have expressed confidence in the legal process, asserting his innocence. “In court, the truth will prevail: Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor,” they said. A 50 Cent executive produced documentary about the Diddy allegations is in development with Netflix.

Diddy Assault Accuser Revealed To Be Ex-Wife Of NHL Star Evander Kane

Diddy allegations have become a common occurrence. Hundreds of alleged victims have come forward with stories involving the disgraced mogul. Many have tried to keep their identities a secret as a means of protecting themselves from outside prosecution. Unfortunately, some of Diddy’s accusers have been forced to reveal their identities in order to continue with their lawsuits. One of these accusers was Anna Kane, the ex wife of NHL athlete Evander Kane.

Anna Kane ane Doe, was required to reveal her identity to continue with the lawsuit. She alleges that she was sexually assaulted by Diddy and his affiliates after being flown to New York in 2003. Kane also states that she was still a high school student at the time, and yet to turn 18. She issued a statement on Friday, December 6, shortly after being forced to publicly confirm her identity. “I had hoped to use a pseudonym in pursuing justice for what happened to me as a teenager,” Kane wrote. “Defendants’ demand that I use my name was an attempt to intimidate me, but I am not intimidated. I am prepared to proceed and hold accountable those who have harmed me.”

Diddy Allegedly Assaulted Anna Kane In 2003

Anna Kane claims that Diddy gave her drugs and alcohol shortly before forcing sex upon her. Kane is best known for being the former spouse of Evander Kane. She married the NHL star in 2018, and they split up three years later. Anna Kane made a series of devastating accusations toward Evander shortly after their divorce. She claimed that Evander subjected her to domestic violence and sexual assault during their marriage. She also alleged the current NHL player of throwing games on purpose after betting on them.

TMZ reports that Anna Kane’s lawsuit includes photos of her meeting with Diddy. Diddy has gone on to deny Kane’s allegations. There has been a general denial statement issued by the mogul’s lawyers in the event that a new accuser comes forward with a lawsuit. “[Combs] looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when claims are filed and served,” the statement reads. “Where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

Lead Prosecutor in Ghislaine Maxwell Case Joins Case Against Diddy

Maurene Ryan Comey, a prominent prosecutor known for her role in the high-profile Ghislaine Maxwell sex trafficking case, has joined the legal team in the ongoing federal case against Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Comey, the daughter of former FBI director James Comey, officially filed a notice with the United States District Court in the Southern District of New York on Monday, December 2. The document, obtained by Billboard, confirms her involvement in the case, adding significant expertise to the prosecution team.

Before Thanksgiving, Diddy was once again been denied bail in his ongoing federal sex trafficking case, marking the third time a judge has rejected the disgraced music mogul’s bid for release. The ruling was handed down Wednesday by Manhattan federal court Judge Arun Subramanian, who cited concerns about Combs’ potential danger to the community and his alleged efforts to obstruct justice.

In his decision, Subramanian stated, “The Court finds that the government has shown by clear and convincing evidence that no condition or combination of conditions will reasonably assure the safety of the community.”

Failed $50 Million Bond Proposal

Combs, who has been detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since his arrest in September, sought to secure his release on a $50 million bond. His proposed conditions included home confinement at an undisclosed Upper East Side apartment, 24/7 security, and restricted access to communication devices.

Prosecutors, however, successfully argued against the proposal, claiming that Combs posed a significant risk of tampering with witnesses, a concern reinforced by alleged incidents of him contacting potential witnesses from jail.

“The defendant, simply put, cannot be trusted,” prosecutor Christine Slavik asserted during a recent hearing. Subramanian concurred, highlighting evidence of witness tampering and a disturbing 2016 video showing Combs violently assaulting his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in a hotel hallway.

Defense Pushback

Combs’ legal team, led by attorney Alexandra Shapiro, has continued to argue that the proposed conditions of release would be sufficient to ensure compliance and prevent any risk of tampering. “There is no legitimate legal basis for continuing to force Mr. Combs to prepare for trial from jail,” Shapiro wrote in court filings.

The defense claimed that the strict bond terms—such as the lack of access to a personal cell phone and monitored communications—would adequately mitigate any risks. However, prosecutors dismissed these assurances, stating that no security measures could guarantee Combs’ compliance.

Previous Denials

Wednesday’s decision follows two prior rejections of Combs’ bail requests by federal judges. In all instances, the court has sided with prosecutors, emphasizing the severity of the allegations and the potential risks posed by Combs if released.

As Combs remains behind bars, the high-profile case continues to unfold, with the rapper facing mounting legal battles and a tarnished legacy. For now, Judge Subramanian’s ruling ensures that Combs will remain in custody as the case progresses.

Diddy Accused Of Dangling Cassie’s Friend Over Hotel Balcony

Diddy list of crimes seemingly grows every week. The Bad Boy founder already has accusations totaling in the triple digits, but he was subjected to another one on November 29. A friend of Diddy’s ex, Cassie, has accused the mogul of physically attacking her on September 26, 2016. She claims that the Bad Boy founder shoved her around a hotel room. From there, she claims Diddy groped, insulted, and threatened her with violence if she dared to resist. The cherry on top? He allegedly called himself the “Devil” while doing so.

Cassie’s friend, Bryana “Bana” Bonglan, previously worked for Diddy. She designed clothes for the mogul prior to the alleged incident. The lawsuit filed by Bonglan’s lawyer claims that Diddy forced himself upon her while the two were in a hotel room. There was physical abuse in the hotel room, but the worst part of the incident occurred on the balcony. Bonglan alleges that Diddy dangled her over the 17th floor balcony in an effort to instill fear in her. “He forcibly groped her breasts, dangled her from a balcony and battered her,” the suit read. “She reasonably believed that Combs’ assault was him making good on his threats.”

Bana Bonglan Claimed Diddy Threatened Her Life

Bonglan claimed that the incident marked the end of several months of harassment. The lawsuit said that the balcony assault was a “culmination of a series of threats, intimidation and violence that colored many of Ms. Bongolan’s interactions. The lawsuit described Diddy’s treatment of the alleged victim as “outrageous and abhorrent conduct” that violated her “fundamental dignity, bodily autonomy, and sense of safety.” Deadline reported that Bonglan is seeking $10 million in damages. She also provided photos of her with Diddy and Cassie in the lawsuit.

Diddy’s attorney’s responded quickly. They dismissed Bonglan’s allegations outright. They also claimed she has been trying to profit from her associate with the mogul for over a year. “Ms. Bangolan (sic) has expressed an intention to sue Mr. Combs and has sought legal representation to pursue her claims,” the statement read. “Mr. Combs firmly denies these serious allegations and remains confident they will ultimately be proven baseless.” Once again, time will tell whether Bonglan’s claims prove to be true.

Diddy’s Son Justin Combs Allegedly Blacklisted From Renting Mansions

Justin Combs is distraught over his father’s legal troubles. Diddy’s precarious situation has not, however, stopped the young man from enjoying himself. Combs has had such a fun time throwing raucous parties in Los Angeles that he has developed a negative reputation among renters. It’s gotten so bad. fact that the New York Post claims Justin Combs has been blacklisted from renting mansions in the L.A. area as a result of his reckless behavior.

A Los Angeles “broker “facilitator” told the outlet that Justin Combs would repeatedly mislead renters with bad information. “The company that I work with rented houses to Justin,” the alleged. “He would say, ‘I’m having 20 people over.’ But there would be 200 and then they would wreck the house.” It has become such a common occurrence that the facilitator’s company has decided to stop doing business with him. “It’s gotten to the point where nobody will rent to him,” they admitted. “He called me to rent, and I said no.”

Justin Combs’ Lawyer Claims He “Did Nothing Wrong”

Justin Combs’ lawyer, Jeffrey Lichtman, issued a response to the New York Post. The lawyer made it clear his client was innocent of any crimes. “Justin has not been charged with a crime or sued civilly regarding any of these accusations for a reason,” he stated. “He did nothing wrong.” The aforementioned source did not allude to any unlawful activity taking place at these parties. Diddy’s alleged crimes have not involved Combs in any capacity. At least, as far as the law has been able to determine.

He has, however, run into legal trouble in the past. The Blast reported that Justin Combs breached terms of contract after purchasing a Bentley Bentayga V8. The lawsuit alleged that Justin Combs was months behind on payments. “There is now due, owing, and unpaid from the Defendant the approximate sum of $172,601.43,” the suit read. “Plus additional charges under the terms of the Agreement. Interest accrues from December 20, 2023, at the legal rate of 10% per annum, until paid in full.” Combs’ lawyer assured the outlet and the public that his client will pay off the outstanding charges.

Diddy To Spend Thanksgiving In Jail After Third Bail Request Denied

Christmas did not come early for Diddy. The disgraced mogul was denied bail on Wednesday, which means he will remain in jail during the Thanksgiving holiday. People confirmed that Diddy was denied a third time by Judge Arun Subramanian. He cited a number of different reasons as to why the court feels the mogul should stay locked up. “The Court finds,” Subramanian explained. “That the government has shown by clear and convincing evidence that no condition or combination of conditions will reasonably assure the safety of the community.”

Diddy’s dubious track record was not, in Subramian’s opinion, something that could be excused when considering bail. The Judge pointed to allegations in which the mogul used firearms and various threats of violence to coerce victims into keeping quiet. He also pointed to instances in which Diddy’s alleged criminal actions were supported by text messages. There were also seized firearms with defaced serial numbers. The prosecution also claimed that Diddy attempted to influence witnesses from behind bars. They felt the Bad Boy founder had made “recent efforts to influence the jury pool.” They cited a social media campaign organized by members of his family as proof.

Diddy Was Denied Bail To Protect The Community

Judge Subramanian took these different allegations into account. He pointed out that Diddy has been using the phone access codes of other inmates to make calls from MDC in Brooklyn. It doesn’t look good for the Bad Boy mastermind, given that he’s been denied twice before. His criminal trial is tentatively set for May 2025. Diddy may not have the chance to go home for the holidays, but his family continues to support him. The mogul’s family issued a joint statement to Instagram. Diddy’s children, in particular, made it clear that they will be behind him no matter what.

“We stand united, supporting you every step of the way,” the children wrote. “We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, Jessie & D’Lila.” The family also dismissed the charges against Diddy as being inaccurate. “Many have judged both him and us,” they added. “Based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity.”

Prosecutors Fire Back Against Diddy’s Bail Request By Alleging He Threatened To Kill Staff Members

Last Friday, November 22, Diddy’s third bail attempt was presented at a court hearing. He’s offering a $50 million dollar bond, 24/7 security, and visitors restricted to family and his team. However, the judge presiding over this decision, Arun Subramanian, came out of it wanting more time to decide. As it stands, Diddy’s trial will not begin until May 2025, so he’s going to be at the Metropolitan Detention Center for quite a while longer. Since the judge came to this conclusion, prosecutors are making moves to try and keep the mogul behind bars. Overall, they just feel he’s too big of a flight risk.

So, it’s no surprise that they are dishing out some more disturbing claims. According to theJasmineBrand and PEOPLE, this latest letter to Judge Arun Subramanian claims that Diddy “physically abused his personal staff.” Things intensify quickly though, as it also reads, “Former staff members have described the defendant threatening to kill them, throwing objects at them, and being struck, punched, and shoved by the defendant, and seeing him do the same to others.”

Furthermore, prosecutors included similar harrowing alleged accounts of Diddy doing things to women. In this section, it says, “Often behind closed doors, the defendant engaged in acts of violence against women, including throwing them to the ground, dragging them by their hair, kicking, shoving, punching, and slapping them.”

He manipulated, coerced, and extorted women, including by plying them with drugs, threatening to withhold financial support, and threatening to disseminate sex tapes that the defendant had made of their sexual encounters. He [intimidated] women, including by displaying firearms, threatening them.” In fact, one of the examples mentions a time where he allegedly went to a woman’s house and began trying to break it down with a hammer. Overall, this should certainly give the judge a lot to think about. Judge Arun Subramanian is expected to make a final decision on the bail package this week.

Stevie J Speaks on Watching Diddy’s Assault of Cassie: ‘It Really Threw Me For a Loop’

d

Stevie J is revealing his reaction to the video of Diddy beating Cassie in a hotel hallway. Appearing on The Downfall of Diddy docuseries by TMZ, Stevie J says, “It really threw me for a loop.”

“After I saw the video, I went and saw him in Miami and we had a conversation. And I let him know how affected I was by that. I didn’t know he had that in him to do that,” Stevie said. “I just know that he was in a dark place in his life, as he described to me. He was just doing a lot of drugs and it was just dark for him.”

In March, Stevie J stood by Diddy as he was being investigated for sex trafficking. Hitting social media, Stevie dropped a video, captioned: “No weapon formed against us shall prosper.” In the video, Stevie J nods his head to a gospel beat.

In a recent Diddy lawsuit, Stevie J was mentioned. The former Love and Hip-Hop star was allegedly in a sex tape with a white man.

After the images of said sex tape leaked to the Internet, an adult star, D’Angelo “Knockout” Marquis, hit X, formerly Twitter, to say he was the one in the video. “That’s me smh,” he wrote.

In a separate tweet, Knockout wrote: “They will not bring him down off my name try again.”

Diddy Case At Standstill After U.S. Attorney Announces Resignation

Damian Williams announced his resignation on November 25. The U.S. Attorney represented the Southern District of New York, and worked several high profile cases throughout his career. The most recent, and perhaps most notable example, is Sean “Diddy” Combs. Williams was aggressive when it came to prosecuting Diddy, and the charges levied against the disgraced mogul on his watch. Damian Williams’ decision to retire on December 13, however, some insiders are concerned as to what the repercussions could be on the Diddy case.

Williams issued a statement following his resignation announcement. “Today is a bittersweet day for me,” he noted. “It is bitter in the sense that I am leaving my dream job, leading an institution I love that is filled with the finest public servants in the world. It is sweet in that I am confident I am leaving at a time when the Office is functioning at an incredibly high level.” Damian Williams served three years as U.S. Attorney, and also played a role in the recent charges made against New York Mayor Eric Adams. Diddy, however, represents an especially sensitive situation.

Diddy Has Attempted To Make Bond Three Times

According to AllHipHop, legal experts have voiced concern over Williams’ sudden departure. There is a sense that the District Attorney’s absence could slow down the momentum of the Diddy case. A case that has already been sidelined by bail requests and dozens of lawsuits. The Diddy case is scheduled to begin in May 2025, but it’s unclear how Williams’ absence will impact this date, if at all. The Bad Boy founder has also been tireless in his attempt to make bond until the trial begins. Newsweek noted that the legal team for Diddy submitted various pieces of evidence to the court on Monday.

Diddy’s legal team also pointed to Donald Trump’s recent legal troubles as a precedent for the kind of outside communication their client should be allowed. They argued that the disgraced mogul actually has a “greater constitutional claim” that Trump when it comes to making bond. “Accordingly, the Court should apply Trump’s heightened standard when considering Mr. Combs’ speech here,” they went on to note. A decision regarding Diddy’s bond request is set to be made this week.

Kendrick Lamar “wacced out murals” Lyric Breakdown

It feels like there’s a thin line between coincidences and calculated moves, at least for Kendrick Lamar. He’s often a few steps ahead of most, and the release of his new album, GNX, has been one of the year’s most anticipated albums, even though no one knew whether it would drop in 2024. It marked his first official project since Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers and his first album release post-TDE.

Context is important for this album. His historical beef with Drake is at the fore of this feud, especially after “Not Like Us” dominated the summer. However, this album isn’t strictly about Kendrick’s grievances with his peers–he’s coming for what’s his and destroying anything in his path. It all begins with “wacced out murals,” the blistering intro track that serves as the “Bomb First (My Second Reply)” to Kendrick’s The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory. The first line alone addresses reports that one of his murals in Compton had been defaced in the wake of his Super Bowl halftime show announcement but this stands as a metaphor for the backlash he received following the news. Regardless, Kendrick is out for blood, and below, we’re breaking down the lyrics for the intro to GNX.

The Compton Mural

Despite the overwhelming amount of unity and support on the West Coast these days, there may have been a few individuals who just weren’t feeling Kendrick’s “Not Like Us.” The defacing of the artwork at Compton’s Honduras Restaurant Mi Sabor was seemingly handled by an OVO supporter, who X’d out Kendrick’s eyes, wrote the letters T and F, along with “OK,” before finishing with the acronyms of Drake’s October Very Own brand, XXL reports.

Drake

Of course, much of “wacced out murals” addresses the aftermath of his beef with Drake as early as the first verse when he raps, “It used to be f*ck that n***a but now it’s plural,” and “Put they head on a Cuban link as a monument,” which is an undoubted declaration of his unanimous win in the feud earlier this year. Much of the contention in the song–and the album at large– is directed at Drake or at the very least, what the Canadian rapper represents. However, the third verse of “wacced out murals” directly addresses a few talking points from the beef including a callback to “6:16 In L.A.”:

N***as from my city couldn’t entertain old boy
Promisin’ bank transactions and even Bitcoin
I never peaced it up, that shit don’t sit well with me
Before I take a truce, I’ll take ’em to Hell with me
If that money got in the hands of a crash dummy
Could jeopardize my family and burden the ones who love me

These lines refer to the rumors that Drake tried to put money out in the streets for dirt on Kendrick Lamar. Alleged Kendrick affiliate, Coolee Bravo, claimed that he fed Drake false information for $150K. This has yet to be confirmed but Kendrick suggests that Drake was playing with fire, especially since someone could’ve taken things too far and caused physical harm to Kendrick’s family.

Lil Wayne

While many have debated whether or not Lil Wayne was dissed on GNX, Kendrick clearly had no issues taking his foe’s boss to task following the NOLA rapper’s complaints about the Super Bowl. “Used to bump Tha Carter III, I held my Rollie chain proud/ Irony, I think my hard work let Lil Wayne down,” he raps in the second verse. Not only a reference to J. Cole’s “Let Nas Down” but this line serves as a direct response to Weezy and co. (Nicki Minaj etc.) who leaped to criticize Roc Nation and the Super Bowl without congratulating Kendrick Lamar.

For obvious reasons, the Young Money crew didn’t feel compelled to acknowledge Dot’s success after he duked it out with Wayne’s most notable protegé. This probably stung even more considering Kendrick once released a whole mixtape in dedication to Weezy. In fact, the intro of the project includes a glowing endorsement from Lil Wayne.

A few lines later, Kendrick seemingly takes digs at Lil Wayne’s musical output as of late. “Quite frankly, plenty artists, but they outdated/ Old-ass flows, trying to convince me that you they favorite,” he raps. It’s unclear if this is a shot at Wayne but most would agree that Wayne is far from his prime these days.

In response, Lil Wayne expressed confusion in a post on X. “Man wtf I do?! I just be chillin & dey still kome 4 my head. Let’s not take kindness for weakness. Let this giant sleep. I beg u all.  No one really wants destruction, not even me but I shall destroy if disturbed. On me. Love,” he tweeted.

Snoop Dogg

The West Coast’s never been as unified, though it seemed like Snoop felt like he was above the politics. Following the release of Drake’s “Taylor Made Freestyle,” where he used AI to replicate Snoop Dogg and Tupac and taunt Kendrick, the Doggfather seemingly crossed a line by posting the song on his Instagram and co-signing Drake’s effort, despite the backlash. “Snoop posted ‘Taylor Made,’ I prayed it was the edibles/ I couldn’t believe it, it was only right for me to let it go,” Kendrick raps on the song. Kendrick evidently felt some type of way about Snoop Dogg’s praise for Drake, especially since Snoop passed the West Coast torch to Dot. In response, Snoop tweeted, “K dot new album GNX 💥🔥🔥🔥🔥🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤   It was the edibles   🤦🏾 😆👊🏿  west west king.”

Nas

In the midst of the Super Bowl halftime show fallout, only a few people emerged with congratulatory messages for Kendrick Lamar. One of which was Nas, who also congratulated Kendrick on the release of GNX shortly after its release. “Always inspired by my brother KL. Keeping the essence of this shit alive and at the forefront. Salute King!” Nas captioned his latest post.

Diddy

Though his name appears to be omitted, Kendrick seemingly acknowledged the reckoning that the music industry is currently facing.

“Okay, f*ck your hip-hop, I watched the party just die
N**gas cackling about— while all of y’all is on trial
N**gas thought that I was antisocial when I stayed inside of my house
You better off to have one woman, everything tricky right now”

Some interpreted this as a shot at Diddy while others speculated that Kendrick might be referring to Young Thug and Lil Durk. However, Diddy’s trial has produced several unsavory memes, such as the term “No Diddy,” the baby oil memes, or the speculation surrounding “Diddy parties,” which makes this more likely the reference. Moreover, his claims against Drake on “Not Like Us” and “meet the grahams” seemingly mirror some of the allegations against Diddy in his court cases.

J. Cole

In another one where names aren’t mentioned, Kendrick seemingly takes a few digs at J. Cole who has willingly taken more Ls than Drake this year. With the release of “Port Antonio,” Cole attempted to address his position in the feud and his fear of “losing a bro” while maintaining that he’s a formidable opponent in the booth.

Twice on “wacced out murals,” Kendrick seemingly addresses J. Cole’s attempt to both sides his way through the beef. First, he mentions, “F*ck apologies, I wanna see y’all geeked up,” which feels like it could reference Cole’s initial statements at Dreamville Festival where he vowed to pull “7 Minute Drill” off of DSPs and offered an apology to Kendrick. The second time in the song where Kendrick appears to reference the feud is in the third verse when he raps, “Ayy, fuck anybody empathetic to the other side, I vow/ A bitch n***a love bitch n***as, they exist with ’em in style/ Exterminate ’em right now.” Since “Port Antonio” was Cole’s attempt to thwart the narrative surrounding his decision to bow out, it appears that Kendrick isn’t giving J. Cole as much grace as he’d like.

Andrew Schulz

Even Andrew Schulz caught a stray on “wacced out murals.” Toward the end of the song, Kendrick seemingly references Schulz’s controversy with James Duncan and Fuhad Dawodu, the British podcasters who apologized after engaging in some edgy misogynoir banter on the Flagrant podcast. “Don’t let no white comedian talk about no Black woman, that’s law,” Kendrick says. “Is this guy too woke to understand a joke?” Schulz said in response to the line, according to DJ Akademiks.

Katt Williams

Before the feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake exploded, Katt Williams set the tone for 2024, and it appears that Dot channeled that spirit. Katt Williams sat down with Club Shay Shay at the beginning of the year for an explosive interview where he aired out his grievances with the entertainment industry, calling out everyone from Steve Harvey to Diddy. So when Dot raps, “Make Katt Williams ‘nem proud, the truth ‘bout to get loud,” we can imagine that he’s readying the world for a rude awakening.
