Jaguar Wright’s Wildest Music Industry Gossip Stories

American singer Jaguar Wright is undoubtedly incredibly talented. However, she is now mostly known for her shocking gossip stories about the music industry than for her skill. Jaguar is so good that her musical achievements include collaborations with some of the biggest artists and music bands, including Jay-Z, The Roots, and Blackalicious. The New Jersey-born songstress has two studio albums to her name. These are Denials, Delusions and Decisions, and Divorcing Neo 2 Marry Soul, released in 2002 and 2005, respectively.

However, rather than making headlines for her musical artistry, it is Jaguar’s stories about some of the industry’s biggest names that people know her for. She has made allegations about Jay-Z, Common, Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, Diddy, and others. One thing about Jaguar Wright’s stories is that they are mind-blowing. Here are the wildest music industry tales Jaguar ever told.

3. The One About Diddy Being An Alleged Murderer

Long before singer and music producer Cassie accused music mogul Diddy of raping and physically assaulting her, Jaguar Wright had made scathing allegations against him. In 2022, Jaguar appeared in an interview with RealLyfe Productions and made several revelations about the music industry. In her disclosures about Diddy, Jaguar suggested that he could be behind the death of some Uptown Records employees. She said, “Uptown Records started with five people—Andre Harrell, Al B. Sure, Heavy D, and Puffy [Diddy]; and Kim [Porter] was the longest-working employee. She was there from the very beginning, she was Andre’s personal assistant. Kim is dead, Heavy D is dead, Andre Harrell is dead, the only two left are Puffy and Al, and Al almost died. Isn’t that interesting?”

Jaguar Wright added that the dead and surviving Uptown Records employees had one thing in common. “They were all writing tell-all books.” She added, “Has Puffy ever been in a coma? Has anything happened to him? He must be the luckiest mother**ker because it seems like everybody that worked at Uptown Records from the very beginning are gone. Just him.” Jaguar also alleged that Cassie left Diddy because something went wrong in their relationship. She claimed that Diddy paid Cassie $500,000 monthly before he “dropped her down.”

2. The One About Common Allegedly Sexually Assaulting Her

In another interview from 2020, Jaguar opened up about how Common allegedly sexually assaulted her. Jaguar explained that she and Common ended up together after a show. She continued, “Next thing we know, we go to bed, and he says, ‘C’mon J.’ No, I’m tired, n*gga. I was on the stage all night, I wanna lay down.” Jaguar also claimed that she kept all her clothes on that night as a precaution as she was a victim of sexual assault. She fell asleep but was shocked when she woke up in the morning. Jaguar accused Common of trying to initiate oral sex with her.

She claimed, “This n*gga tryin’ to stick his d*ck in my mouth while I’m sleep. Lonnie f*ckin’ Lynn. Rashid. Common. Whatever the f*ck you wanna call yourself. That’s why I stopped f*ckin’ with him. Because n*gga, if you gon’ try to stick your d*ck in my mouth while I’m sleep, there ain’t nothin’ you won’t do.” However, Common denied the allegations during an interview with Philadelphia’s Rise and Grind Morning Show. He said, “God bless Jaguar. I really don’t have any negative thoughts toward her. I was for sure disappointed and hurt when she said what she said about me because it wasn’t true.”

Common said he knew people who had endured sexual assault and knew they wouldn’t make false claims. He also said he understood Jaguar might be going through some things he didn’t understand. Common concluded, “In all truth, I went through different emotions. I’m like, oh man, why is she saying this? This is not true. How’s this gon’ affect me?”

1. The One About The Roots Allegedly Helping R. Kelly Recruit Underage Girls

In 2020, while R. Kelly was awaiting trial for sex trafficking, Jaguar Wright claimed the famous band The Roots helped him carry out his crimes. Jaguar made the assertions in an Instagram Live video. She said, “Look at R. Kelly, The Roots was around when that n*gga was sending his driver around to go get girls from what was the middle school — They brought ’em to the studio. They brought ’em to Larry Gold’s studio and I was told to mind my f*cking business if I wanted to keep my career. A member of The Roots told me that, ‘That ain’t none of your business. That man makes people millionaires.’”

Jaguar further expressed regret for not speaking up about the issue back then. She said she felt horrible for keeping quiet about it, especially as she was a sexual abuse survivor. She concluded, “You know how responsible I feel for the women I let get hurt because I didn’t say nothing.”

Jaguar Wright’s claims, whether true or not, shook the music industry. Although many people felt she was doing so for attention, the severity of those allegations, especially in light of recent happenings, may make one want to pay attention. Right now, it is uncertain if those Jaguar accused would ever face legal action as her claims would require hard evidence and not just word of mouth to prove.

Diddy Has Reportedly Filed To Have The Jane Doe Sexual Assault Lawsuit Dismissed Citing Multiple Reasons

Since November 2023, Diddy has been drowning in a sea of lawsuits. While Cassie’s bombshell case with the tipping point, unfortunately for the former head of Revolt it wasn’t the last (see more here). Now, the “Act Bad” rapper and his legal team are working their way through each case in court.

According to TMZ, yesterday (May 10), Diddy’s attorneys reportedly filed have the sexual assault allegations submitted by a Jane Doe dismissed. This marks the second attempt by Diddy to have the courts toss out an alleged victims’ claims. Similar to his first dismissal filing (in a separate case), in documents Diddy’s attorneys argue that the statute of limitations basis for Doe’s lawsuit has lapsed. The representatives also argue that Doe “didn’t include many pertinent details outside of her alleged assault.” Lastly, they maintain Diddy did not do what Doe alleged.

Read the full statement take from within the paperwork below.

The sparse amendments to the original Complaint cannot remedy the falsehoods and incurable defects in the new pleading. Like the original Complaint, it fails to state any viable claim and must be dismissed.

Plaintiff cannot allege what day or time of year the alleged incident occurred, yet purports to miraculously recall the most prurient details with specificity. Accordingly, this case should be dismissed now, with prejudice, to protect the Combs Defendants from further reputational injury and before more party and judicial resources are squandered.

In Doe’s original filing she claimed to have met Bad Boy Records president Harve Pierre in Detroit back in 2003 when she was 17 years old. After that interaction, Doe stated she was flown to New York City and taken to Diddy’s studio. Once there Doe alleged she was supplied with drugs and alcohol then gang raped. Doe included photos from the alleged night in her lawsuit.

Happy Heavenly Birthday To Former Bad Boy Craig Mack!

Craig Mack

On this date in 1971, rapper Craig Jamieson Mack was born in the birthplace of Hip Hop and went on to become one of the most impactful emcees on Hip Hop’s most pivotal label in the mid-late 90s, Bad Boy Records.

Produced by Easy Mo Bee, “Flava In Ya Ear” audibly captured the exactitude of one of hip-hop’s most celebrated eras. In the early 90’s, a time east coast rap was faint in hype, the coming of Craig Mack sparked its resurgence. The remix of “Flava In Ya Ear” featuring Puff Daddy (Diddy), LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, and Rampage pushed one of the most iconic rappers to the forefront, The Notorious B.I.G, creating a timeless hip-hop melody.

Mack was signed to Diddy’s Bad Boy Entertainment when he dropped his 1994 debut Project: Funk da World, making him a Bad Boy Records pioneer. He is the first artist to release an album off of Bad Boy records, which would become the mecca for east coast rap of the 1990s, and its resurgence.

The distinctive rhymes and flows of Craig Mack are essential to the rutty and sensationally groggy sound of 1990s rap. Prior to his dawning with Bad Boy, as a young teen under the moniker MC EZ, he released one single “Just Rhymin’” in 1988, followed by “Get Retarded” with his group MC EZ & Troup.

Native to Long Island, which at the time was one of New York’s maturing hip-hop epicenters, Mack was close friends with Parrish Smith and Erick Sermon of EPMD prior to the golden era duo’s debut, and eventually went on tour with them. He helped DJ Scratch, EPMD’s DJ, amass his turntables for performances.

Mack died on March 12, 2018 from heart failure near his home in Walterboro, South Carolina. He was 47 years old. He will be physically missed, but his music will be celebrated forever!

UMG Recordings Moves to Block Extension in Diddy Sexual Misconduct Lawsuit

Diddy's "Gotta Move On" Becomes His 11th No. 1 Hit Single

The legal battle surrounding embattled music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has taken another turn as his co-defendant, UMG Recordings, moves to deny an extension requested by the accuser’s attorney in a sexual misconduct lawsuit.

Liza Gardner, who alleges she was sexually assaulted by Diddy when she was a 16-year-old minor in 1990, has been seeking additional time to respond to a motion to dismiss filed by UMG Recordings. However, according to a report by People, the music group’s attorney, Lisa Linsky, has opposed Gardner’s request for an extension.

In a letter submitted to the New York County Courthouse, Linsky outlined the reasons for opposing the extension. She argued that there is no valid basis for additional time as the fundamental issue in the case—the plaintiff’s age at the time of the alleged incident—remains unchanged. Linsky emphasized that no additional documents or witness affidavits could alter this critical aspect of the case.

Linsky asserted that UMG Recordings had previously communicated to Gardner’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, that the complaint was legally deficient and urged him to discontinue the action against UMG Recordings. Despite this, Blackburn chose to proceed with the lawsuit.

The letter urged the court to deny Blackburn’s request for an extension and to dismiss the lawsuit, describing the proceedings as frivolous and emphasizing the need to avoid further expenditure of resources by the court and UMG Recordings.

Kendrick Lamar Uses Chubbs Name to Callback Diddy-Drake Scuffle on “euphoria”

dd

And just like that, Kendrick Lamar has fired off at Drake and OVO. With “euphoria,” Lamar had a run of insults and jabs, but one recalled Drake’s history with Diddy.

During his “Push Ups” diss to Kendrick and more, Drake mentioned Chubbs, his right-hand man and enforcer, having The Weeknd’s manager as a blunt runner. But additionally, Chubbs is mentioned as a threat, specifically on “Summer Sixteen,” where Drake raps, “You know Chubbs like Draymond, better off not sayin none.”

And well, we know what Draymond does for Steph Curry.

So back to “euphoria,” Kendrick spits, “You gon’ make a nigga bring back Puff, let me see if Chubbs really crash somethin’”

But what exactly happened with Diddy and Drake? Seems a lot.

In October 2022, Kanye West was a guest on a podcast and claimed that Hov once broke up a fight between Drake and Diddy.

Ye made his guest appearance on the Lex Fridman Podcast yesterday (October 24) and said that at his 2015 Yeezy fashion show in NYC, Ye revealed that Jay had to play referee between the Bad Boy head honcho and the Certified Lover Boy.

“You had Puff Daddy. At that time, Puff Daddy had beef with Drake,” said Ye. “Drake still came to the show and JAY-Z had to break up the fight backstage.”

The two had a previous run-in in December 2014, when Drizzy and Puff got into a fistfight at DJ Khaled’s birthday party in Miami, causing the Toronto star to be hospitalized with an injured shoulder. Diddy is said to have approached Drake at Club LIV and told him: “You’ll never disrespect me again,” before punching him.

That event caused J. Prince to deliver a “courtesy call” about the confrontation. Prince said, “Puffy feeling like he can put his hands on my family, open the doors for his family to be touched. You reap what you sow.”

Diddy ultimately denied physically assaulting Drake, saying: “I did not put hands on Drake, and I do not want any problems with Drake. I did nothing to Drake. Drake is my friend.”

TMZ noted Boi-1da sent both Drake and Diddy the “0 to 100” beat. Drake made the single first. But Miss Info also had tea, stating:

Apparently Diddy was given that beat first, eventually sent it to Drake to put a verse on it, but as we all know Drake released “0 to 100″ as a freestyle using the beat instead. Reportedly, the beat was made during a series of sessions in Miami where Puff flew Boi-1da down…but turned down the beat. Which would make it up for grabs.

But back to the present. You can hear “euphoria” below.

50 Cent Shares AI Deepfake Video To Troll Diddy And Jay-Z

50 Cent’s trolling campaign against Diddy is extending to a 5th full month with no signs of slowing up. 50 was one of the first to start posting about the rap mogul all the way back in November of last year when the first viral lawsuit filed against him by Cassie hit the news. Since then he’s seemingly posted nearly daily about the wild events surrounding Diddy. That includes those only tangentially related like people who were named in the increasingly unbelievably Lil Rod lawsuit or found themselves caught up in the federal raids on Diddy’s properties.

Now Jay-Z is even being roped into the trolling. 50 shared an Ai-generated deep fake video poking fun at the two legendary rap figures. This isn’t the first time he’s dipped into the well of artificial intelligence in an attempt to make fun of Diddy, though it’s hard to say what exactly it actually accomplishes. This time he used a clip from the film New Jack City that had been edited to look like it featured Diddy and Hov. “This thing is bigger than Nino Brown. LOL New Jack Diddy” the post’s caption reads. It seems to imply that Jay-Z somehow knows about the alleged sex trafficking Diddy has been accused of. The Bad Boys mogul has repeatedly denied the allegations against him. Check out the newest post 50 made below.

Recently 50 Cent has also been using his Instagram to weigh into other things. Most notably he’s discussed some of the biggest ongoing rap beefs. He’s shared his thoughts on Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s recent spat. He’s also posted to Instagram repeatedly giving his reactions to Quavo and Chris Brown’s back and forth.

What do you think of 50 Cent’s newest attempt to troll Diddy while also roping in Jay-Z? Do you think the “In Da Club” rapper will ever get tired of making posts on Instagram about the rap mogul? Let us know in the comment section below.

Suge Knight: I’m Not Going To Celebrate Diddy’s Downfall

Screenshot 2024 04 29 at 10.00.49 AM

Despite their decades long feud which, according to rumor and reports may have costed several men their lives, former Death Row Records CEo Marion “Suge” Knight said that he would not kick Diddy while he’s down and surprisingly, he actually felt sympathy for the Bad Boy mogul in the new doc TMZ Presents: The Downfall of Diddy.

Suge says his thoughts went to Diddy’s kids and the negative impact the allegations have on hip-hop culture. He also says he’s not the type to revel in people’s downfalls, adding he’d rather end the beef with Diddy through conversation instead of rooting for the world to tear him down.

No one will ever forget when the beef between the two CEOs and their respective camps reached their height at the 1995 Source Awards when Knight said that if you want to be a star and don’t want your executive producer dancing in the videos, “Come to Death Row!”

Diddy Challenges Lawsuit: Claims Statute of Limitations in Alleged Assault Case

puff daddy cdbfba

Earlier this year, Bad Boy Entertainment CEO Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs found himself embroiled in a legal battle when a woman named Joi Dickerson-Neal accused him and singer Aaron Hall of drugging and sexually assaulting her more than three decades ago. Now, Diddy’s legal team is fighting back, arguing that the laws under which he is being sued didn’t exist at the time of the alleged incidents.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Diddy’s lawyers are contesting several claims made by Dickerson-Neal, pointing out that the laws she is invoking were not in effect when she alleges the assault occurred. Specifically, Dickerson-Neal is suing Diddy under the New York Services for Victims of Human Trafficking Law, which was enacted in 2007, approximately 16 years after the alleged incident took place.

Diddy’s attorneys are calling for these claims to be dismissed with prejudice, asserting that their client cannot be held liable under laws that did not exist at the time of the alleged assault. Moreover, they maintain Diddy’s innocence, denying the accusations of sexual assault and emphasizing that the claims under these specific statutes should be invalidated.

However, Diddy’s legal team is not contesting the first two counts of the lawsuit, which include common law claims for assault and battery, as well as intentional infliction of emotional distress. These claims do not rely on specific statutes and are therefore not subject to the same arguments regarding the timing of the laws.

In addition to challenging the applicability of certain laws, Diddy’s lawyers are also contesting Dickerson-Neal’s attempt to sue Bad Boy Records and Bad Boy Entertainment, asserting that these entities did not exist at the time of the alleged incidents and therefore cannot be held liable.
