John Legend Gets Candid Discussing The Allegations Made Against Diddy

It’s been a pretty difficult year for Diddy so far. Numerous lawsuits have been filed against the rap mogul. They’re alleging years of bad behavior with some even roping in fellow celebrities and behind-the-scenes collaborators. It’s put many of the people Diddy has worked aside in his decades-long career in an uncomfortable position. Certain figures like Yung Miami and LeBron James were silent for a surprisingly long time. Both unfollowed the rap mogul earlier this month after facing criticism for their seeming lack of acknowledgment of the accusations against him.

Now John Legend is breaking his silence on the situation. He and Diddy have collaborated musically in the past, but he didn’t do the rap mogul any favors with his candid statement. In particular, Legend discussed the controversy between Diddy and Cassie. It began last year with a lawsuit the singer filed before being escalated a few weeks ago. That came when CNN leaked a video of hotel security footage that seemed to capture one of the alleged assaults. Hear what Legend had to say when CNN asked him about it below.

John Legend’s Comments About Diddy And Cassie

“I was horrified by the descriptions that I read before the video evidence came out,” Legend began when asked about the situation. “And absolutely it’s something that needs to be brought to light when it happens. My default stance is to believe women when they make these accusations and to make sure that we do whatever we can to support women” he elaborated. In addition to many of the lawsuits filed against him Diddy is also facing a federal investigation. Earlier this week, CNN reported some information involving a male prostitute caught on camera at the rap mogul’s house. They also claim that he plays a role in the federal investigation.

What do you think of John Legend’s candid comments on the Diddy and Cassie situation? Are you surprised to hear him come out in support of Cassie in such strong terms despite working with Diddy in the past? Let us know in the comment section below.

Meek Mill Borrows Drake’s Timestamp Formula For “5AM In Philly”

Meek Mill needs a rebrand. He’s become “Twitter fingers” exclusively, between the viral moments and the extremely unfortunate friendship he has/had with Diddy. It’s not the best time to be a Meek fan, and something that could go a long way in fixing that is the music. It worked back in 2018, when he dropped Championships and managed to go Platinum. That album really benefited from a Drake-featured single, and Meek’s latest song decided to borrow a Drake-originated structure.

“5AM In Philly” is a transparent riff on Drake’s timestamp records. The ones that the Toronto rapper has been doing since 2010, and are regularly cited as some of his greatest tracks ever. It’s a bold move, and Meek really goes for the full timestamp treatment. He gets a moody instrumental that sounds like it came out of the OVO camp. Wistful piano keys coalesce with a subtle drum pattern, giving Meek Mill plenty of time to wax poetic about his life. There’s even a part near the two minute mark where the drums adopt the same exact pattern as the backend of Drake’s “6PM In New York.”

Meek Mill Turns In A Forgettable Drake Impression

It’s a classic move from producer Noah “40” Shebib. A concept that Meek bizarrely reminds us of by adopting a rhyme scheme around the number “40.” “And the time meet the time, you forty without a dime (I’m just a man),” he aggressively raps. “And the only thing you own is a .40 and a little .9. So if he kill son, that’s the only way he gon’ shine.” Not enough Drake similarities? How about the fact that Meek Mill decides to talk about “scary times” during the outro. One would be hard-pressed to think the rapper is referencing Drake’s Scary Hours EPs. The production is cool, and the rapping is passable. Meek does such a poor job of hiding his influences, though, that it feels like Drizzy karaoke.

What are your thoughts on “5AM In Philly” by Meek Mill? Does Meek sound good changing up his style? Do his bars hit home? Do the similarities to Drake distract you? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Meek Mill. Quotable Lyrics:

I’m the motivation, I made n**gas get their cake up

Voletta Wallace, The Notorious B.I.G.’s Mother, Would Like To ‘Slap The Daylights Out Of’ Diddy After Seeing His Hotel Assault Video

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ world began unraveling last November when Cassie Ventura, known artistically as Cassie, filed an extremely detailed lawsuit alleging years of mental, emotional, and physical abuse, including rape and sex trafficking. Diddy quickly settled with Cassie but maintained his innocence, and several more women have filed lawsuits alleging similar behavior. On May 17, CNN obtained and released video showing Diddy physically assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway in 2016, aligning with an allegation in Cassie’s lawsuit.

Most recently, Rolling Stone published a Diddy exposé, and Voletta Wallace, the late The Notorious B.I.G.’s mother, felt compelled to speak to Rolling Stone about it all.

“I’m sick to my stomach,” Wallace told the publication, in reference to learning about Diddy’s alleged years-long depravity. “I’m praying for Cassie. I’m praying for his mother. I don’t want to believe the things that I’ve heard, but I’ve seen [the hotel video]. I pray that he apologizes to her.”

Wallace added, “I hope that I see Sean one day, and the only thing I want to do is slap the daylights out of him. And you can quote me on that. Because I liked him. I didn’t want to believe all the awful things, but I’m so ashamed and embarrassed.”

The Rolling Stone report by Cheyenne Roundtree and Nancy Dillon surfaced even more concerning alleged behavior dating back to the 1980s, including new Biggie-related details, as summarized by Rolling Stone‘s Roundtree and Jason Newman below:

Rolling Stone‘s investigation into Combs documented a pattern of alleged abuse dating back to Combs’ time at Howard University in the late 1980s. Early Bad Boy staffers, associates and industry sources also recalled how Biggie viewed his label boss as a ‘corny executive’ and was on the verge of leaving Bad Boy before his murder in 1997. Combs capitalized on the shock and sorrow over his star artist’s death, sources say, pushing his team to ensure Biggie’s upcoming album, Life After Death would top the charts and allegedly dismissing discussions to put Biggie on the cover of Rolling Stone.

Bad Boy’s co-founding partner and president Kirk Burrowes told Rolling Stone that he advocated for the late rapper to get the cover. ‘I was telling Sean, ‘Let’s make it Biggie. You still have a chance [for a cover in the future],” Burrowes recalled. ‘He’s like ‘No, he’s dead. I’m putting out [Combs’ debut album, No Way Out] in July. I need to be on the cover of Rolling Stone.’” (Voletta Wallace declined to comment on the anecdote.)”

Following CNN’s release of the 2016 hotel security footage, Diddy posted a video in which he issued a lackluster apology but didn’t mention Cassie by name.

“We are aware of the video that has been circulating online allegedly depicting Sean Combs assaulting a young woman in Los Angeles,” the Los Angeles Police Department stated on May 20. “We find the images extremely disturbing and difficult to watch. If the conduct depicted occurred in 2016, unfortunately we would be unable to charge as the conduct would have occurred beyond the timeline where a crime of assault can be prosecuted.”

Cassie released her first public statement on May 23.

50 Cent Sells Diddy Documentary To Netflix: What We Know

50 Cent has been mercilessly trolling Diddy for months now on social media. All the while, 50 has seemingly been joking about developing a documentary series titled Diddy Do It. Now, according to exclusive reports from outlets such as TMZ, it is clear that this was much more than a simple joke for social media. Apparently, 50 Cent really is producing a Diddy documentary, and Netflix has been tapped as the series’ streaming home. Information regarding Diddy Do It is fairly sparse, as we’re still in the early days of the project’s development. Still, it’s worth diving into the available information and dissecting exactly what 50 Cent’s Diddy documentary will entail. Let’s uncover the facts as they currently stand, and unpack everything we know so far about Diddy Do It.

The Docu-Series Will Center On Diddy’s Alleged Crimes

Diddy has long been considered something of a boogeyman in hip-hop circles. Numerous rappers are seemingly scared to expose the mogul for his alleged wrongdoings. Despite his reputation, 50 Cent has been a public detractor of Diddy for years. This has culminated in 50’s constant trolling of the Bad Boy Records founder ever since Diddy’s legal troubles first began.

In the last year or so, Diddy has been accused of violently assaulting people, including his ex-girlfriend Cassie, as well as participating in numerous drug and sex trafficking crimes. 50 Cent even has a personal stake in Diddy’s operation, as his baby mama Daphne Joy has been accused of serving as Diddy’s sex worker. She has since denied the allegations.

Diddy and the members of his inner circle have not made things easier on themselves either. Last week, a video emerged which appears to show Diddy violently beating, kicking, and dragging Cassie throughout the hallways of a hotel. The LAPD issued a statement explaining that they would not pursue assault charges due to the statute of limitations. Still, Diddy seemingly admitted to his wrongdoing in the footage with a recent apology video. “I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help… Had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry,” he said in the video.

The Doc May Need Multiple Installments To Cover All The Details

50 Cent first flooded social media with fake renderings of posters for the Diddy documentary back in December 2023. While posting about the conception of Diddy Do It, 50 joked that he may need to continue adding new episodes as more victims continue to come forward. Diddy’s mounting legal trouble has seen something of a snowball effect in recent months. Multiple lawsuits, accusations, and a federal raid on Diddy’s residences have continued to compound.

Currently, there is no public confirmation of how many episodes Diddy Do It will span. There is a possibility that the Diddy documentary could continue on for multiple seasons. As of now, at least 4 women have accused Diddy of sexual assault, and physical abuse, while others are suing him for failure to honor contractual and financial obligations.

The Documentary Was the Subject Of A Bidding War

According to an exclusive report from TMZ, Netflix got the rights to 50 Cent’s Diddy documentary after an intense bidding war with other streamers and networks. 50 Cent is producing the film through his production outfit G-Unit Film & Television. He has already vowed to donate a portion of the proceeds to victims of sexual assault. Clearly, the fact that Netflix had to bid against numerous other streamers in order to get a hold of the documentary series proves that this is a hot story that won’t be going away any time soon.

For now, Diddy is in hot water, though he has not yet been convicted of any of the alleged crimes. Only time will tell what’s in store for the Bad Boy Records founder. One thing is definitely for sure, 50 Cent will definitely not let up on his long-time rival, no matter the lengths he must go to continue pushing Diddy’s buttons. The release date and additional information regarding 50 Cent’s Diddy documentary are sure to come in the following weeks as this story continues to develop.

Biggie's Mom Voletta Wallace Speaks on Diddy: 'I Want to Slap the Daylights Out of Him'

Voletta Wallace has seen all of the discourse about Diddy in the past months and says she wants to “slap the daylights out of him.”

Speaking with Rolling Stone, Wallace stated the accusations, videos and more levied against Combs made her “sick to my stomach.” She added, “I’m praying for Cassie. I’m praying for his mother. I don’t want to believe the things that I’ve heard, but I’ve seen [the hotel video]. I pray that he apologizes to her.”

Wallace would also say, “I hope that I see Sean one day and the only thing I want to do is slap the daylights out of him.

“And you can quote me on that. Because I liked him. I didn’t want to believe all the awful things, but I’m so ashamed and embarrassed.”

The relationship between The Notorious B.I.G. and Diddy was reportedly not as glamorous as it seemed. In a new report from Rolling Stone, Biggie was in a legal battle with the Bad Boy mogul before his murder.

The report states Biggie was attempting to gain control of his career. Photographer Monique Bunn revealed Biggie “was absolutely about to leave Puff. I know for a fact, he told me that.”

The Notorious B.I.G. would get murdered, and with a Rolling Stone cover on the table at the time, former Bad Boy co-founder and president Kirk Burrowes suggested Biggie get the cover. Diddy declined that idea, wanting to take the moment for himself.

“I was telling Sean, ‘Let’s make it Biggie. You still have a chance [for a cover in the future],’” Burrowes recalled. “He’s like ‘No, he’s dead. I’m putting out [No Way Out] in July. I need to be on the cover of Rolling Stone.”

New York City Mayor Eric Adams Laughs At Unique Idea Regarding Diddy’s Key To The City

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been hit with some challenges ever since he took office. Overall, he isn’t exactly the most popular man in the world. Many are unimpressed with the changes he has made to the city and public transportation in particular. Moreover, some believe the city has become way too overpoliced since he took office. Now, however, Adams faces a new dilemma thanks to the allegations against Diddy. As Adams suggested last week, he is thinking of revoking the artist’s key to the city.

Recently, Adams was on 94.7’s “Jonesy in the Morning” radio show. It was here where he was asked again about the Diddy scandal and the footage of the artist hitting Cassie. Adams reiterated that it was disgusting and that he may have to take his key of the city away. “That video, as you saw, was really, really painful to watch,” Adams explained. “As a person who has two sisters, you know, I was really troubled by it.”

Eventually, host Tarsha Jones joked “If all else fails, just change the locks.” This subsequently led to a hearty laugh from Adams who found the comment amusing. All-in-all, it isn’t that easy, especially since the city has never had to do something like this. At this stage, there is no telling if they even can revoke his key. Only time will tell what happens next for Diddy as many look to distance themselves from him.

Let us know what you think of the decision Mayor Eric Adams has to make, in the comments section down below. Do you believe that he should revoke Diddy’s key to the city? Would that send a message or do you find it to be an empty gesture at this juncture? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. [WATCH] Charlemagne Tha God: Diddy Got Wendy Williams Fired From Hot 97 Over “Gay” Claim

Screenshot 2024 05 30 at 9.58.01 AM

On a recent episode of comedian Andrew Schulz’s Flagrant podcast, The Breakfast Club co-host and culture critic Charlemagne Tha God alleges that Diddy got troubled talk show host Wendy Williams fired from Hot 97 over claims that the Bad Boy founder was homosexual.

Charlemagne delves into the history between his mentor, Williams, and Diddy, which goes back almost thirty years.

“Wendy’s whole thing was Diddy was gay,” Charlamagne said. “That’s why Wendy got fired from Hot 97. Wendy got fired from Hot 97 by Diddy ’cause that’s when Bad Boy was smoking hot. She got fired for putting that out there.”

The former Wendy Williams Show host supposedly had a photo of Diddy in an intimate situation with another man, suggesting that Diddy was gay, which ultimately got her fired from the radio station in 1998.

See the Flagrant podcast statement HERE

Former Bad Boy bodyguard Gene Deal also spoke about Williams’ firing in a 2022 interview with Art Of Dialogue.

“The power [Diddy] had with the radio stations in New York, motherfuckers didn’t breathe hard if [Diddy] didn’t want them to,” he said.“[Diddy] got one of the hottest DJs off Hot 97 because she wanted to put up a picture of him getting his pants pulled down. [Diddy] told Hot 97 if they didn’t get rid of her before he got back in New York, that they was not going to get any music from any of his friends, any of the record labels executives that was cool with him. Everyone was going to boycott their station.”

There have been rumors about Diddy’s sexuality for years, however, most recently in his sexual assault lawsuit, producer Lil Rod claims the mogul groped him and tried to groom him into having sex with fellow producer Stevie J.
