Rihanna’s Home Swarmed By Police As Intruder Tries To Propose To Her

Rihanna is one of the most popular artists in the entire world. Overall, she has been making a massive comeback from a purely musical perspective. For instance, she was the halftime performer at the Super Bowl. Moreover, she performed her song for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever at the Oscars. Needless to say, everything is going well for the artist these days. She is also pregnant with her second child with A$AP Rocky. On all fronts, Rihanna seems to be doing great, which is amazing to see.

Unfortunately, some people are attempting to disturb her peace. According to TMZ, a man from South Carolina flew out to Los Angeles in an attempt to meet the singer. As the story goes, the man went up to Rihanna’s house and tried to get in. However, security was right there to greet him. When asked about his intentions, he claimed that he wanted to propose to the singer. Clearly, that was never going to be successful, but he tried it regardless.

Rihanna Is Doing Just Fine

The security subsequently called police officers who rushed over to the home. From there, they took the man away but eventually released him. Ultimately, the man had not broken any laws, which led to his aforementioned release. While some may find this response by police to be underwhelming, it is fairly in line with what we have seen from these types of cases, in the past. As for Rihanna and her role in all of this, it has yet to be reported whether or not she was home at the time of the intrusion.

Unfortunately, the legendary artist has been subjected to these kinds of invasions before. Back in 2018, Rihanna was away from her home when a man named Eduardo Leon was found inside of the house. He was promptly arrested after telling police that he wanted to have sex with the singer. Thankfully, security was there to make sure this most recent incident didn’t go further than it did. Stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the music world.

Taxstone Found Guilty In Manslaughter Case: Details

Over the past couple of weeks, popular podcaster Taxstone has been standing trial for his alleged involvement in the 2016 shooting at Irving Plaza. Many throughout the hip-hop world have been curious to see how this would all play out. However, for Taxstone, the worst-case scenario has played out.

According to XXL, Taxstone has been found guilty of first-degree manslaughter. Moreover, he was also found guilty on two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, two counts of assault in the first degree, and one count of assault in the second degree. Alvin Bragg, the district attorney in the case, released a statement on the matter. Overall, the DA seems quite content with the ruling today. “Daryl Campbell was convicted of killing a man and shooting three others during a tragic and deadly confrontation in a packed New York City music venue,” Bragg said. “In addition to seriously injuring his rival and killing his rival’s bodyguard, Mr. Campbell shot innocent bystanders and put hundreds of other lives at risk. We will vigorously prosecute anyone who commits this type of deadly violence.”

Moving forward, Taxstone still needs to be sentenced. This sentencing will go down next month on April 19th. The punishment for manslaughter is quite hefty and with the other charges in mind, the podcast star could be behind bars for decades. At this point, it remains unknown what the ballpark of the sentence will be. This remains a developing story, so stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates. 6ix9ine Assault: Police Issue Statement

Authorities in Lake Worth just issued a statement regarding the assault on 6ix9ine that took place on Tuesday (March 21). Moreover, South Florida police posted via Twitter that they seek help in this case and are accepting any information. Given the rapper’s reputation as a snitch, which likely fueled the attack, it became a curious turn of events. Still, it’s no reason to brutally beat the “GUMMO” artist, as is shown in various social media clips surfacing online. Following that, on Wednesday (March 22), the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office addressed the situation.

“Last night, our deputies responded to an incident at LA Fitness (8000 Block of Lantana Rd) in Lake Worth,” the official police statement read. “An altercation occurred between several individuals, leaving [6ix9ine] Daniel Hernandez injured. Hernandez was transported to a local hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries.” Moreover, he was locked in a room by gym staff after the incident, who rushed him to safety. “We need your help!” the statement continued. “If you have any information, please contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS or stay anonymous by downloading the PBSO app for Apple or Android.”

Police Statement On 6ix9ine Attack

As such, perhaps those who beat the rapper up will eventually come to light, and may even face dire consequences for their actions. After footage surfaced of the LA fitness bathroom assault, where the 26-year-old faced attacks from multiple individuals, many in the rap game and beyond spoke out. For example, Charlamagne Tha God said that it was “only a matter of time,” and Boosie said that “snitches get stitches.” However, the former said that it’s no laughing matter, which the latter certainly doesn’t agree with. Also, some offered words of support in more sympathetic ways.

“It’s unfortunate what happened to 6ix9ine,” Wack 100 shared via Instagram. “He’s a good guy. Life is full of lessons. This isn’t about his so called street situation. This is about decision making on both sides. The ones who filmed and posted themselves will remember this day for years to come. And 69 will now know he has to move accordingly. #staydangerous & don’t hesitate. Wish him a speedy recovery.” Regardless, check back in with HNHH for the latest updates on this story and more from 6ix9ine.

Latto Denies Entering Diversion Program To Dismiss Gun Charge

Latto set the record straight following reports that she entered a program to dismiss her gun charges. The Atlanta star took to Twitter where she called “cap” on TMZ’s claims that she’s almost done a 1-year program as part of a deal to have her charges dropped. “Idk who put out that false ass information cause I’m not in no damn program,” Latto said. “Also the situation happened over a year ago & y’all never even knew until I mentioned it in the Boom pt 2 verse. Nun to ‘brag’ about. Leave me alone.”

In May 2021, police hit Latto with two charges, carrying a loaded firearm and carrying a concealed firearm. The reports claimed that Latto struck a deal that would drop the gun charges under certain conditions. The report claims she had to complete a gun safety course – which they claimed she entered in April 2022 –, perform 120 hours of community service, and refrain from being near any firearms. TMZ said that she has a court hearing in April. At this point, a judge will decide whether or not they will dismiss the firearms.

Latto Explains Gun Charge

The rapper’s gun charges really only came to light when she jumped on Mello Buckzz’s single, “Boom Pt 2.” The brief mention of the gun charge spurred curiosity among fans, who inquired about the backstory of her bar afterward. “Went to LAX w a loaded glock 17 in my Birk got locked & let out in a few hours,” she wrote on Twitter. “lmaooo booked a $75k jet to my show in Alabama & still made it on time! no cap in my rap TUH.

Latto’s previous run-ins with the law also made headlines recently. A few years ago, she recalled the time when she dealt with a bout of mistaken identity that left her behind bars for a few days. The “Big Energy” rapper spent three days in an Atlanta jail before a judge dismissed her and confirmed there was no warrant for her arrest. “I was profiled for ‘looking like’ sum bitch that robbed a n***a… I’m not no robber man,” she explained. “Jail is NOT for me btw.” We will keep you posted on any more information surrounding Latto’s gun case.

42 Dugg Faces Another 5 Years In Prison After Pleading Guilty: Report

It might be a minute until 42 Dugg comes home. The Detroit rapper became one of the leading figures out of the buzzing Michigan rap scene over the past few years. However, just when he was high off of hit singles like “Maybach” and projects like Last Ones Left with EST Gee, he found himself behind bars. The rapper allegedly failed to report to serve a prison sentence and federal agents arrested him in Michigan. What’s worse is that authorities described his arrest as a multi-state operation that uncovered alleged documents in which he claimed to be a sovereign citizen.

Throughout the year since his arrest, there have been few updates surrounding 42 Dugg’s release. However, he continued to deliver a slew of singles to keep fans on their toes. He dropped off “Soon” in May 2022 then dropped, “IDGAF” a few months later. In between those singles, his presence was also felt through a slew of collaborations alongside Lil Baby and Yo Gotti. Unfortunately, things aren’t looking too great for him these days, and it might be a minute until he comes home.

42 Dugg Pleads Guilty

According to Detroit News, 42 Dugg recently pleaded guilty for possession of an illegal firearm, but it might come along with additional prison time. The rapper is reportedly staring down another five years behind bars. During his hearing, Dugg admitted to the court that he purposefully failed to show up to serve a six-month sentence for unlawful carry of a firearm. Unfortunately, it seems as though he could be adding years to that sentence, as well as a fine of $250K.

The rapper initially caught a felony firearm possession in 2020, though he later posted bond. During the time he was free, 42 Dugg allegedly purchased a home in Georgia worth $1.4M that came with 6,500 square footage. It’s an unfortunate incident that should serve as a cautionary tale for other rappers who are beginning to get themselves out of the streets. We’re hoping that he manages to maneuver his way out of the five-year sentence and returns home to pursue his career in hip-hop. We’ll keep you posted on anymore updates surrounding 42 Dugg’s guilty plea.

Charlamagne Tha God Says 6ix9ine Attack Was Only “a Matter Of Time”

Just about everyone has something to say about Tekashi 6ix9ine today (March 22). The rainbow-haired rapper has been a controversial figure in Hip Hop since he first emerged on the scene. 6ix9ine has used trolling tactics to gain popularity, often roping his Rap peers into social media beefs. His court case also thrust him into infamy after he cooperated with federal authorities against his former gang associates. Instead of avoiding criticism, Tekashi was released from prison and faced It head-on. There were concerns about his safety, but he only taunted the masses about being outside without security. Things caught up with him.

In videos circulating online, 6ix9ine is seen on the floor of an L.A. Fitness restroom being attacked. There were at least two assailants, and one stomped the rapper in the ribs. It looked like 6ix9ine was also kicked or punched in the face. TMZ shared a photo of the rapper in the hospital being treated for his injuries. He hasn’t spoken on the assault, but Charlamagne Tha God has a bit to say on The Breakfast Club.

6ix9ine Antagonized The Public & His Peers

The radio station touched on Tekashi’s beatdown and even played a clip from his previous interview with The Breakfast Club. In it, 6ix9ine boasted about talking recklessly because he knew that no one could touch him. “I mean, you can’t escape the energy you put out there,” Charlamagne stated about the recent altercation. “You just can’t. You get what you ask for ’cause you been asking for it. You’ve been taunting people for years, telling people to come see you, SMD, inviting that violence to happen to you. Eventually, it will. Nobody is exempt. With security or without security, if you are a person who invites violence into your life, if you online saying what you gon’ do to people when you see them, are in interviews saying that. I guarantee you it’s just a matter of time.”

Although Charlamagne believes this event was expected due to 6ix9ine’s behavior, he doesn’t see it as an opportunity to poke fun. “I see a lot of people laughing, but this isn’t a time to laugh. This is a time to learn,” he said. “I even think about it—as reckless as I’ve been over the years, I’ve never invited violence into my life. I’ve never threatened to beat up an artist. Never told an artist come see me, not that I remember. But I still got punched in the face. I still had people attempt to run down on me in the streets.

Advice From Tha God

Before concluding, Charlamagne delivered some advice to artists. “I would advise a lot of y’all out there, don’t laugh at 6ix9ine, learn from 6ix9ine. ‘Cause a lot of y’all out here are making the same mistakes yourself and gonna meet the same fate.” Watch the Rumor Report on The Breakfast club above.

Latto’s Close To Getting 2021 Gun Charges Dismissed: Report

Latto found herself in hot water in 2021 when authorities caught her with a gun in her bag at LAX. However, she’s now a few steps away from having the charges dropped completely. According to TMZ, the “Lottery” rapper nearly completed the year-long diversion program after police charged with her carrying a loaded firearm and carrying a concealed firearm. Latto is to stray away from any firearms, complete a gun safety course, and perform 120 hours of community service.

The “Big Energy” rapper began the program in April 2022. Now, it seems that she’s only weeks away from finally avoiding any charges attached to the alleged crime. However, Latto will have to appear in court for a hearing later next month. That’s when an official decision will be made if she met all of her conditions. At this point, it looks like Latto won’t face any time or any further punishment if the court feels like she pulled through on her end of the bargain.

Big Latto stirred up a storm after admitting to carrying a gun through LAX on Mello Buckzz’s “Boom Pt. 2,” where the Atlanta star raps, “I got locked up in the airport, god damn, forgot the gun.” Shortly after, the Internet questioned the rapper about the incident. She detailed the arrest, which she described as a mistake as she went through the airport. “Went to LAX w a loaded glock 17 in my Birk got locked & let out in a few hours,” she tweeted. “Booked a $75k jet to my show in Alabama & still made it on time.”

However, this wasn’t the first time she had a run in with airport authorities. She later explained another incident where she caught a case of mistaken identity in her hometown. “Nah that was in Atlanta,” Latto explained after a fan asked if her LAX arrest was the same as when a female cop tried to make her “cough hard.” She continued, “Lol I was profiled for “looking like” sum bitch that robbed a nigga… I’m not no robber man [laughing emoji]  jail is NOT for me btw.”

Takeoff Shooting Detailed By Survivor, Sydney Leday: “I Remember Running Away”

It was a devastating loss when Takeoff was murdered last November. Since then, investigators have been piecing together what happened that fateful evening in a Houston bowling alley. Takeoff was with several others, including Quavo and J. Prince’s family members, in the early morning of November 1. It’s reported that a disagreement over a dice game turned deadly, with Takeoff being the only victim. Police claim he wasn’t even a part of the argument, just an innocent bystander.

However, he wasn’t the only person shot during the altercation. A woman named Sydney Leday was also injured, and after fighting for her life, she’s detailing her experience. “Everything happened within a few seconds,” she told The Shade Room during an interview. Halloween marked Leday’s 24th birthday, and she was excited to be out and about in Houston. She never expected to be shot in the head that evening. “As soon as I saw a weapon, I tried to hurry up and get out of there.”

Sydney Leday Shares Her Story

According to Sydney, she enjoyed a night on the town with her friends when they were invited to an after hours party at the bowling alley. “I’ve never been in this situation or known anybody that had to go through what I’m going through,” said Leday. “I’m just working on trying to get back to a normal [life] as much as possible.” The party was reportedly “thrown by J. Prince,” said The Shade Room. Sydney added, “I would say, we got there about one o’clock in the morning.” However, when the party seemed to be coming to an end, Leday noticed a shift in the energy.

“Everybody seemed like they knew each other,” she noted. Leday and her friend then watched on as the dice game unfolded. “We got outside, and it was time for everybody to go home. That’s when things changed.” The victim recalled seeing Quavo arguing with a man before other patrons came outside to see what was happening. Initially, it wasn’t a fight, but the two men were discussing the game that reportedly concerned $100K. When things turned serious, Leday remembered being “caught off guard.” Then, someone “[pulled] out a weapon,” which was Leday’s cue that it was time to go.

She Didn’t Know She Was Shot

Sydney didn’t hear the gunshots until she was at an escalator. “I remember running away,” but then suddenly, she crumbled to the ground. Her friend tried to pick her up. “I felt the sting in my head,” she said. “I didn’t realize what actually happened to me, and fortunately, I had on a wig and a wig cap. So, I took the wig off and noticed that I had a lot of blood.” Her friend rushed her to the hospital, and Leday began having seizures during the journey. She was in a coma for days and is grateful to be alive. Yet, her road to recovery is far from over. Watch the report above to see what else The Shade Room uncovered in court documents.

Jamie Foxx Targeted In $40K Scam On Set Of Netflix’s “Back In Action”

Things are shaking up on the set of Jamie Foxx’s new film. There have been murmurs of discontent involving Back in Action, Foxx’s latest feature co-starring Cameron Diaz. Close attention is being paid to the movie, notably because it marks Diaz’s return to acting following an eight-year hiatus. This week, Daily Mail reported they spoke with “sources” who claimed Diaz was ready to leave Hollywood for good once again following Foxx having a meltdown on set. A follow-up report said that the fury stemmed from an alleged scammer lurking in production.

The Sun reported Back in Action is currently in London, facing delays due to bad weather. While the nature of the scam is unclear, it was said to have been “elaborate,” as an employee attempted to steal upwards of $40,000 from Foxx. “One staffer has been sacked, and there are investigations after someone tried to get access to £33,000 in cash from Jamie Foxx,” a source claimed. “It sounds as though they tried to offer up a Rolex watch as part of the deal, but now there’s an investigation into everything going on.”

Jamie Foxx Had Enough

Additionally, it’s speculated that the employee in question may have pulled off similar scams with other wealthy celebrities. Their involvement in the production is unknown, and the person’s name hasn’t been shared publicly. It is also unclear if formal charges have been filed or if Foxx or Netflix will take legal action. “This film has been a bit of a nightmare,” the source further shared. Despite the controversy, Foxx, Diaz, and Netflix have not issued formal statements.

Meanwhile, in September 2022, Diaz visited The Tonight Show and told Jimmy Fallon she was “nervous and excited.” It was reported that Foxx even recruited the help of Tom Brady to help drag Diaz out of retirement. “You know, it’s a little bit of muscle memory, you know what I mean?” the actress said. “Sort like, I did that for so long, it’s kind of like the process, I kind of just fell back into it. But, it kind of feels a bit different.” Watch Cameron Diaz discuss her return to Hollywood above.

XXXTENTACION Killer Blew A Kiss To Rapper’s Family After Guilty Verdict

After nearly a week of deliberation, the verdict emerged in the XXXTENTACION murder trial. The three men who stood trial, Michael Boatwright, Trayvon Newsome, and Dedrick Williams, were found guilty on all counts. The jury convicted the three men of armed robbery and first-degree murder charges for killing XXXTENTACION in 2018. The first-degree murder charge itself carries a penalty of life in prison. However, Michael Boatwright, Trayvon Newsome, and Dedrick Williams will find out their sentence next month when they return to court.

The defense did not provide any details surrounding their post-conviction plans after the trial concluded. However, fans noticed a suspicious moment when the judge read the verdict. As the jury declared one of XXXTENTACION killers, Michael Boatwright, guilty, he appeared to blow a kiss at the camera before a grin appeared on his face. The Miami Herald reports he directed the gesture toward XXXTENTACION’s family who attended court in anticipation of a guilty verdict. The evident lack of remorse will likely play a role in his sentencing next month. Still, X’s mother stated that “Justice was done,” as she left the courtroom on Monday.

Michael Boatwright Convicted In XXXTENTACION’s Murder Case

Police previously established Michael Boatwright as one of two gunmen, alongside Trayvon Newsome, who fatally shot XXXTENTACION. Police said Dedrick Williams served as the getaway driver during the botched robbery. Throughout the trial, the defense attorneys attempted to debunk each piece of evidence presented to the court. When the photos of the suspects flashing cash came up, Boatwright’s lawyer Joseph Kimok confirmed that they held up the money but denied his client pulled the trigger.

Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams, and Trayvon Newsome will return to court on April 6th for sentencing. However, the judge will sentence the fourth suspect, Robert Allen, who testified against the other three, six days later. Regardless, XXXTENTACION’s mom and the mother of the rapper’s child expressed gratitude for the outcome. Both said the court delivered justice for the late rapper. “Thank you for the love and support. I am eternally grateful for all of the supporters, your positivity, and prayers have carried these last 5 years,” Jenesis Sanchez wrote. Check out the video of Michael Boatwright above.
