Jermaine Dupri Claps Back At Hater Calling Him Old

Jermaine Dupri just wanted to post a video with him and Usher in peace, but it seems that Instagram trolls won’t let him get away that easy. Moreover, a hater took to the comments section of his video to remark on his old age in a pretty blunt fashion. As far as what the video showed, it was a simple video of Jermaine walking along with Usher and a crew of people, presumably after one of the latter’s Las Vegas residency shows. “Jd like 65,” the troll wrote in the comments section. “He should be sleeping.”

Furthermore, the North Carolina artist replied to that comment in a similarly simple but sincere way. “65!!!” the “Money Ain’t A Thang” star retorted indignantly. “You got me f***ed up!” Not only is Dupri still active in the music game, but he just released a hotly anticipated project. His collab tape with Curren$y, For Motivational Use Only, Vol. 1, released earlier in April, boasting features from the likes of T.I. and 2 Chainz. As such, it’s understandable that JD would be pretty taken aback by people bringing up his age when he’s still on his grind. For the record, Jermaine Dupri is 50.

Jermaine Dupri Isn’t Here For The Hate

Regardless, Jermaine has bigger fish to fry when it comes to beef- or, at least, he had. Last year, he got into a heated dispute with Bow Wow over who deserves more credit in his career’s evolution. Eventually, things got pretty sour, with them going back and forth on social media and dragging each other’s name through the mud. However, Bow Wow recently explained how Nelly helped mend their feud and put the past behind them. Ultimately, it came down to both men, of different generations and priorities, coming to understand each other more as they both entered a reflective, veteran status in the game.

Meanwhile, that’s not the only piece of gossip that circled in the hip-hop world about Dupri recently. Yung Joc compared him to Diddy last March, stating that the latter is more talented when it comes to knowing what’s “hot.” Wherever you fall on that debate, a potential Verzuz battle between the two, which JD said is in development, would make for quite the matchup. Regardless, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Jermaine Dupri.

Marques Houston Clarifies Comments On Single Mothers

Marques Houston recently made some inflammatory comments about single mothers, calling them a “red flag.” Now, the singer and actor took to social media to respond to the backlash and apologize for his insensitive remarks. Not only that, but it also comes after Immature group mate Romeo responded on his behalf and gave an apology to fans, stating that he doesn’t agree with Houston’s views. However, that might have brushed Marques the wrong way, at least from what his Instagram Stories indicate. First, though, there’s his actual apology.

“I humbly apologize for the comments I have made, and to those I have offended,” Marques Houston began. “I have a deep respect for all women of any age, race, or background. My comments made in a recent interview was taken out of context. I work with many independent women every single day, and have ultimate respect for them and what they are able to accomplish in this world and my choice of words, or how they were taken, does not reflect how I view them. So again, I would like to apologize, and will use this experience to both better myself and the men I’m an example to.”

Marques Houston Addresses Backlash To Single Mothers Comments

Before that, Romeo came through with a letter of his own addressing the issue. “I would like to extend my sincerest apologies in regards to the insensitive statements made by my former group member Marques Houston,” he began. “Women today have enough battles to endure including the policing of their bodies, equal pay in the workplaces, and beauty standards. It is never ok to degrade one group of women in order to praise another. As artists, it has always been important to us that the content of our music and who we represent as men would never disrespect women (especially women of color) and his views do not reflect those of the group.”

Still, maybe the Sister Sister actor saw this as an affront against him, and might’ve called Romeo a “bottom feeder.” “To all my fans, supporters and real truth seekers I can see how the media would love to pin people against people for monetary gain,” he added. “But when your at peace, loving life and able to still make a positive impact in the entertainment world for over 2 decades, it’s so easy to move out the way and let the bottom feeders eat. #Protectyourpeace I LOVE YOU ALL!” Regardless of your take on these comments, stick around on HNHH for the latest on Romeo and Marques Houston.

Yung Miami Responds To Diss Track

Many might believe that Yung Miami can’t catch a break these days, but she’s clearly letting all that dirt roll off her shoulder. Moreover, she recently responded to a diss track aimed at her from Chicago rapper Big Mulla. From what reports indicate, it seems their beef began when the City Girl made fun of Mulla’s looks in an Instagram comment. “Why your eyes so far apart?” she wrote at the Windy City native under an IG post. While rumors of beef between her and Mariah the Scientist proved incorrect, it seems another feud came in to take its place. However, the Miami rapper took to the comments of The Neighborhood Talk‘s post covering the diss with a simple clapback.

“Booooooooo,” she wrote, adding a couple of tomato emojis. As such, she quickly and quite comically dismissed the shots taken at her music, her relationship with Diddy, and a few other things Mulla pointed out. This likely won’t manifest into an actual response track, but at least she gave it the time of day. Unfortunately, the 29-year-old is dealing with a lot of flack at the moment.

Yung Miami Dismisses Diss Track Aimed At Her

First, there’s the whole reason that fans speculated Mariah dissed Yung Miami, and that’s her recent performance on BMF. Of course, to appear on the hit TV show in the first place should be a big moment of celebration for the “Act Up” MC. Instead, many criticized her acting chops and proceeded to clown her all over social media. While she fought back and forth with a few users and responded with apathy and sometimes anger, she expressed indifference to the hate at the end of the day.

With that precedent in mind, it’s no surprise that she would so bluntly respond to a diss track about her. What’s more is that she’s also one to stick up for people when they’re getting this level of undue animosity thrown their way. Recently, she defended Chrisean Rock amid Blueface’s social media attacks at her. “You’re beautiful and FULL OF LIFE!” she messaged Rock on Twitter. Regardless of the naysayers, stick around on HNHH for the latest on Yung Miami.

50 Cent recently discussed the dynamics of his relationship with Cuban Link during an episode of the BET series The Wine Down. Speaking with Mary J. Blige, he admitted that he’s “in love with her.” “I’m in a friendship with a woman, and I’m finding gratification out of seeing her happy,” he explained. “At that point, I think I’m in love with her. ‘Cause even if her friends or her people are there, and they’re doing their thing, I’m happy because I know she’s really happy at that point. You understand? It’s not necessarily coming from me, but that’s how I interpret love.”

In addition to his love life, 50 Cent has teased having big things in store for 2023. “Im gonna remind people i’m nice this year,” he wrote on social media to begin the year. “New Music New Tv New movie let’s go!” One of the TV projects 50 has teased working on is an adaptation of Eminem’s iconic film, 8 Mile. He also recently inked a major deal with FOX to create more content after his departure from Starz.

Blac Chyna Blocks Tokyo Toni After Online Antics

Blac Chyna recently revealed that she blocked her mother Tokyo Toni on social media following her online antics. Moreover, readers may remember that she went on a rant against Chyna for allegedly being in the Illuminati. Also, she clapped at her new man, her sense of gratitude, and a few other topics in some bizarre Instagram clips. Even though things between the two certainly took a turn, the reality TV star said she still has love for her mom. Furthermore, she spoke to Jason Lee about the situation and its complicated nature.

“It’s definitely something there,” the 34-year-old expressed. “I feel like we’ve tried to work out things and whatnot. Only thing I can do as a daughter is honestly just love her cause she’s still my mom at the very end of the day. And I still love her to now, even sitting right here now. And I don’t take things so much to the heart because you just never know what the next person is going through.” In addition, she explained why she doesn’t react to Toni’s videos.

Blac Chyna Blocking Tokyo Toni

“So I just pray for her, I see it,” the D.C. native expressed. “It’s very hurtful. But I don’t take it to heart. I just pray about it and I give it to God and I just wash my hands with. And then with that, I just basically take all of that and remember that I have two kids and that they’re going to have a happy beautiful life and a mom that’s there and just everything else underneath the sun. But I love Toni.

“It’s no way for me to talk to her right now,” Chyna concluded, affirming that she blocked her beyond just social media. “Yeah, just for right now. I had to respect myself and my boundaries and my peace. You know what I mean, I have others things to like, worry about.” Hopefully these two can come to an understanding and reconcile their odd relationship soon. Regardless, check out the full interview here and come back to HNHH for the latest updates on Tokyo Toni and Blac Chyna.

Angela Yee Addresses “The Breakfast Club” Comments On Her Radio Show

Angela Yee recently addressed comments she made about The Breakfast Club on her radio show Way Up. While she already responded to the backlash on Twitter, she further elaborated about them on air. Moreover, she said that she didn’t expect so many to come down her throat, as she didn’t mean to insinuate that no other women worked on the larger show. Instead, she was making a point on how she’s the only woman host on air. In fact, she said she’s made similar comments about not being able to talk to men for hours after they wrap up, but this one particularly got people fired up.

“Never blew up like this before, I guess?” she explained, adding on to her previous response. “Maybe it was the way that I said it, I’m not sure. I guess people were interpreting it to mean that I meant that there were no women working on the show, and that was not my intention. ‘Cause that’s simply not true. I was talking about in that studio, in that room. Even Sydney will tell you I’d walk out that room and be like, ‘I can’t be in here for now.’

Angela Yee Speaks Further On The Breakfast Club Comments On Her Radio Show

“And I would even say when I leave the show, I don’t even wanna talk to any guys,” Yee continued. “That’s why I had Lip Service with all women, because I was like ‘Ugh, I can’t talk to any guys for, like, two hours.’ I feel like I’ve said that on many interviews, but somehow this turned into a lot more. I was definitely surprised.” Furthermore, her surprise came at the immediate clapback from people online, such as former Breakfast Club co-host DJ Envy.

“I mean, it was her, Charlamagne and myself, so she was the only woman on air,” Envy stated. “But behind the scenes, it was so many different- I mean, our boss, the actual person that pays our bills and pays our checks and hires us is Thea Mitchem who’s a woman. I think she misspoke, I think the words were taken out of I guess technicality. I’m sure she would clean it up, but there’s a lot of women who work on that show.” Regardless of your take, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest on Angela Yee.

Trick Daddy Talks About Eating A** During Cooking Show

Trick Daddy just made some more very candid and humorous comments about eating a** during his cooking segment. Moreover, he made the assessments on his YouTube cooking show, “I Got My Pots” with NeNe Leakes. While a lot of people found his confessions quite funny, at least he was upfront and preached safe sex. For those of you who might be a bit more prone to cringing or squirming at that kind of conversation, you’re not in luck. All in all, the Miami rapper talked about wanting to satisfy his partner and ensuring reciprocity to keep things respectful.

“Yeah, I like to buy them stuff and eat their stuff,” Trick confessed of his relationship with women. Furthermore, NeNe’s reactions to his comments as he calmly cooks are hilarious. “That’s all I like to do, and I’m a pleaser. I like to make sure that they’re very much satisfied. I’m not only the Head Club president, but I’m also a member. So if I eat you out, I don’t mind if you eat me out. You know, some women go as far as the gooch, and that’s as far as they go. If she don’t mind… I take sit down baths. I make sure I’m very clean and I make sure I’m right down there. Shave all these grey hairs off these balls, you know?”

Trick Daddy Gets Honest About Eating A** While Cooking

Props to the 48-year-old for keeping it real. As often happens with Trick Daddy’s confessions, people had a blast reacting. “His commitment to continuing to cook, undisturbed, during this entire exchange is a whole different level of concentration,” one user wrote. Another wrote with laughing emojis, “I don’t think anyone has ever left Nene speechless.” Also, people pointed out Trick’s respectful tone. “He’s being so considerate tho with his sexual preferences ‘If… if she don’t mind,’” a user wrote with a sad-eyes emoji.

Meanwhile, the Miami rapper’s most recent headline outings concerned a small spat with Uncle Murda. Moreover, Trick called Murda out for his “Rap Up” tracks, which evolved into a back-and-forth that even 50 Cent got roped into. Regardless, check out the full video here and stick around on HNHH for the latest candidness from Trick Daddy.

Wack 100 Thinks Lil Durk Aimed “Clubhouse Gangster” Comments At 21 Savage

Wack 100 believes that Lil Durk’s “Clubhouse gangster” comments took aim at 21 Savage. Moreover, Durk recently posted a picture of him with cash on a private jet on Sunday (March 5) via Instagram. “Club house gangsters messing it up for the one who want to stay free #THEVOICE,” the Chicago MC captioned the post. While it’s just a boastful picture on a social media platform, many believed the specific mention of Clubhouse yields something deeper. Furthermore, Wack told DJ Akademiks that the Atlanta rapper serves as a fitting intended target, if it was in fact a diss.

“He might have been talkin about 21 Savage,” he expressed. “Look bro, I done been out on bail and on bond fighting cases — that is the most humbling time for any n***a. Savage n***a, street n***a, whatever you wanna call yourself. When you catch that case and you fighting that case, you humble yourself and you get low, right? But when a motherf***er feel like he got that Get Out of Jail Free card ’cause some funny s**t going on and you go on Clubhouse as a reset and say, ‘N***a what? Every time we hit your block, we kill three, four of you n***as’?”

Wack 100 Believes Lil Durk Took Shots At 21 Savage In Clubhouse Comments

Furthermore, Wack referenced an incident where the Her Loss MC fought with a Chicago user on the Clubhouse platform. “You waited for this moment your whole life so you could argue with a n***a on Clubhouse?” he remarked in an audio clip. “You keep letting all these Chicago n***as boost your head up, like y’all n***as ain’t dying in real life, man. Stop playing. Every n***a that we beef with, 30 of they n***as get smoked and don’t nothing happen to us. In real life, n***a. It’s real life! Aye Cap, you from Chicago. I advise you to shut the f**k up. ’Cause the n***as that I f**k with up there spanking s**t, so stop playing. Y’all ain’t spanking nothing, n***a… You will die.”

Meanwhile, the controversial hip-hop executive said that 21 played loose with his mouth even as he faces a deportation case, and therefore is playing dangerous games. Also, he said that it’s probably a diss at 21 because he’s one of the only rappers still on Clubhouse post-heavy pandemic season. However, his claims might not ring true at the end of the day. After all, Durkio and Savage have often collaborated, most recently on DJ Khaled’s album GOD DID on the track “KEEP GOING”. Regardless, stay tuned to HNHH for more updates on this story and the latest from Lil Durk, 21 Savage, and Wack 100.

50 Cent Outraged By Melle Mel’s Eminem Comments

50 Cent responded to Melle Mel’s comments about Eminem in a since-deleted Instagram post aimed at the Furious Five rapper. Just in case you forgot, Mel recently said that Eminem’s only considered a top five MC because he’s white. Afterwards, his claim sparked a lot of discussion online, whether from defenders of Marshall Mathers or his biggest detractors. However, among many other giants, Em has 50 in his corner, and he defended the Detroit rapper no questions asked. In his deleted Instagram post, he spoke on how the landscape Em came up in and influenced is much different to the one Mel found success in.

“There was more money selling dope than being in Hip Hop when [Melle] Mel was popping, the culture has grown so much,” Fif stated. “I am not sure if it would be what it is today with out artist like Eminem. S**t I am not sure I would be who I am with out him but you know it is competitive so n***as gonna hate. LOL f**k outta here ! We sucker free.”

50 Cent’s Deleted Response To Melle Mel About Eminem

Moreover, to be fair, the 61-year-old acknowledged Eminem’s influence in his conversation with The Art Of Dialogue podcast. “Obviously he’s a capable rapper. If you was talking about sales, he’s sold more than everybody. If you were talking about rhyme style, okay he got a rhyme style. But he’s white. He’s white! So now if Eminem was another n***a like all the rest of us, would he be Top 5 on that list when a n**a that could rhyme just as good as him is 35? That had records and all that? He’s 35. He’s white.”

Meanwhile, the “In Da Club” rapper also said that Marshall’s impacted the genre more than Jay-Z. Well, technically he just disagreed with Jamal Crawford’s take on that debate after he sided with Jay in his podcast. “That’s why my five, the dominance outweighs the number,” the former NBA player remarked to Shaq. “Like, JAY-Z’s effect on Hip Hop is bigger than any album sales that Eminem will have, you see what I’m saying? That’s just how it goes.” Regardless of your take on that, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest on 50 Cent, Melle Mel, and Eminem.

Dominique Da Diva Says Nick Cannon Is Corny Too After Michael B. Jordan

Dominique Da Dive recently doubled down on her comments about Michael B. Jordan being corny and even threw Nick Cannon into the fold. Moreover, her stance comes after Jordan accused her podcast co-host Lore’l of calling him corny instead. While Lore’l actually spoke on their time together in school and not about his corniness, there was some miscommunication in the two years since that episode aired. Regardless, Da Diva stood by her assessment, even though she said that it’s not all that negative.

“The blogs only post half bulls**t,” she wrote on her Instagram story with some laughing emojis. “They mad at Lore’l when it was me who called him corny.” In another story post, she elaborated on her stance. “Any black man that dates white women is corny to me. I guess that PR relationship w/ Lori helped y’all forget but I didn’t.” Yet again, she added yet another slide to her story to really hammer things home. “Anything I said once I’ll say it again. Nick Cannon is corny too- he got mad women babies and money.

Dominique Da Diva Compares Nick Cannon & Michael B. Jordan

“I thought we were all doing out ‘Ciara Prayer’ for a nice corny Russell Wilson to save us from these toxic n***as?” she continued. “No? Corny ain’t bad. That’s 70% of the n***as in this industry. Let’s see how y’all act when he brings his next white girlfriend with him on the red carpet, toodles.” To be fair, sources close to Jordan did dismiss claims that he was dating British model Amber Jepson, so that last assessment remains to be seen. Still, it doesn’t matter much at the end of the day, as it’s his life to live. Moreover, fans are incredibly excited for both the Creed III film and its Dreamville-led soundtrack.

Meanwhile on Nick Cannon’s end, the father of 12 recently said that any future babies are in the hands of God. “God decides when we’re done, but I believe I definitely got my hands full,” he told Entertainment Tonight in an interview. “And I’m so focused. I’m locked in. But when I’m 85, you never know. I might [have more].” Regardless of whether you agree with Dominique, log back into HNHH for the latest on Michael B. Jordan, Nick Cannon, and more celebrity antics.
