Tyrese is a pretty interesting character. That can be attributed to the Californian actor and singer’s video clips, quotes, troubling relationships, and antics. Overall, all of these factors have made him quite the controversial pop culture figure in the eyes of a lot of people online. However, in that same breath, its lead him to receiving lots of interview requests, which have to be paying him pretty handsomely. Shannon Sharpe clearly sees what’s going on with Tyrese as of late, and its why we are getting a Club Shay Shay interview very soon.

In fact, the episode is currently in the middle of its premiere at the time of writing. Sharpe teased the interview on the Club Shay Shay Instagram account late last night, saying that they will be discussing their “internet-breaking videos”. At the time of writing, Katt’s viral and unhinged sit-down has over 73.5 million views and its one of the most-watched interviews on the platform. So, it will be a tall task if that was the goal for Tyrese, and fans seem to think he’s doing too much. “I don’t know if it’s Tyrese or his ego, but one of them is draining”, one user expresses. “He should’ve just let the interview speak for itself Now the expectation will be too high and it won’t do as well ”, another predicts. DL Hughley Explains Why He Will Never Be On Shannon Sharpe’s “Predatory” Podcast

D.L. Hughley was one of many comedians that had something big to say about the 2024 interview that keeps on giving. Moreover, during a recent sit-down interview with DJ Vlad on VladTV, he expressed why he thinks that Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast became “predatory” with the Katt Williams interview and why he’d never go on it. Principally, the comedian came to this conclusion because it didn’t fairly characterize the relationships that most comedians have with each other.

“I think that, like any other endeavor, there are jealousies, idiosyncrasies,” D.L. Hughley’s comments on Shannon Sharpe began. “But I don’t think that’s indicative of the experiences that most of us have. After the Katt Williams interview, which was a phenomenon, he kept trying to replicate it. ‘Let me bring on somebody else to have a beef.’ Like, I can understand it was a phenomenon. But then, all of a sudden, you try to replicate it.

“To me, just like you love what you do, he love what he does,” D.L Hughley continued concerning Shannon Sharpe. “For me, as a matter of principle, it is too messy. Now, I think it’s morphed into something else because I think that brook has run dry. But for me, it’s just all of those people I saw on there were people who wanted to go on there because of what happened on Undisputed. The way Skip did him made me and a lot of other Black people go ‘F**k this, we’re going to make sure this brother’s okay.’

“But then you take that and the very people that got there first, I think, were damaged by the first iteration of what went on,” D.L. Hughley concluded. “For me, I would never do it. I was going to do it a long time ago. Honestly, before that happened, I had been slated to do it a couple of different times. I just didn’t. I’m glad he’s making his money, I’m glad he’s doing what he’s doing. I’m not jealous or hateful. It’s just a personal thing I wouldn’t do. And people can say, ‘Why you do Vlad and not him?’ I f**k with you. [He] don’t need me anyway. And he was my favorite football player ever. He’s my favorite tight-end ever, ever.”

In doing so, he explained why he feels Lamar won the beef, which prompted the WWE legend to reveal he hasn’t listened to hip-hop in many years. “I know nothing about this,” Cena admitted. “All I know is the headlines. I’m the one person, the one breathing human being who did not hear bar one of this beef. I haven’t heard any music, any tracks, nothing, so this is all new to me. Who won?”

Sharpe began by bringing up Lamar’s diss track, “Not Like Us.” “They play it all the time,” he said. “There’s not gonna be a football game, a basketball game, or anything that you go to where the home team is winning where you’re not gonna hear, ‘They’re not like us.’ Kendrick won. Isn’t it the most-played diss in history already? I think it’s the biggest song this summer.”

From there, Cena explained that Drake is one of the last rappers he remembers listening to before he moved away from his interest in hip-hop. “I kinda drifted away from hip-hop right around Drake and I always thought Drake is extremely talented,” he said. “Again, I love wordplay. Megan Thee Stallion is taking one heck of a victory lap in the wake of releasing her new album, Megan. In addition to reupping one of her most high-profile partnerships with a hilarious commercial for Amazon Prime Day, she’s also been celebrating the success of her Hot Girl Summer Tour, which has brought both admirers and increased camaraderie with the current generation of rap girls. She was given a chance to talk about it all — and given an apology for a vulgar joke — on the latest episode of Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay show.

Right at the top of the episode, Sharpe issued his mea culpa for the tasteless joke, which involved a comment on Meg’s attractiveness that came across as very unattractive. During a prior episode in November with fellow former NFL star Chad Johnson, Sharpe noted that Megan was “stacked up like dirty laundry in a dorm room” then, in response to a question about dating her by saying he’d “have her stretched out like a quarter-to-three.”

One of the night’s entertainers, Megan Thee Stallion’s latest business venture, has something to keep the party going.

On May 19, the “Down Stairs DJ” rapper teased that she was gearing up to launch a tequila brand. Today (July 1) during her appearance on the Club Shay Shay podcast, Megan revealed that she has fellow Houston hottie Beyoncé to thank for the business’ formation.

When host Shannon Sharpe asked Megan about her next chapter as an independent artist, she revealed that it has leveled her up in all ways with the guidance of Jay-Z and Beyoncé.

“When I was in the situation with [1501] and I wanted to get out of it, they told me you need to do this on your own,” she said. “Like, ‘You already know what it is. You already have all the tools. All the legal sh*t you are going through, I know you are learning something. So you should figure out how to get out here and be your own boss.’”

The NFL Hall-Of-Famer was just saying anything and everything about her, talking about what he would do to the MC in the bedroom. “I’d have her stretched out like quarter to three”, Sharpe said to his co-host and former NFL wideout, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson. “I do it three ways, Ocho: deep, hard, and continuously… I’d have her opening up like saloon doors”. He even added that “she has knees like Barry Sanders”. Megan’s fans and other listeners alike were quite disgusted by the 56-year-old’s NSFW comments.

Ray J Blames The Creation Of OnlyFans On His Infamous Sex Tape

Ray J is still relevant in 2024. The former R&B singer hasn’t scored a hit in over a decade, but he has continued to remain a cultural presence through interviews and reality TV shows. Why? Well, if you let Ray tell it, because he helped to create the pop culture world in which we currently live. Ray J recently went on Club Shay Shay, and he detailed the very specific ways in which his decisions back in the mid-2000s shaped the way that we consume media.

The bold declaration stemmed from the Kim Kardashian sex tape that was released in 2007. Club Shay Shay host Shannon Sharpe asked about the impact of the tape, and the “One Wish” singer didn’t mince words. “How different would we all be,” he asked in return. “How different would this whole f*cking thing be…How different would this industry be… Everything would be different.” The singer then went on to detail the ways in which pop culture would have differed. “There might not be any OnlyFans and all the things like that,” he posited. “All the opportunities like that… Probably more people would be going to college.”

Ray J said the sex tape changed his career, but acknowledged that its impact was not entirely positive. “Are we a part of the cure or [are] we a part of the disease,” he wondered aloud. “I don’t know. All I know is I’m trying to make it right. Shannon Sharpe asked Ray J if he was embarrassed by the tape now, and he took a long pause before answering. “Yes,” Ray J admitted. “I have kids now… Everything I did now when we have kids is just totally different. The whole thing is wacky. With my kids it’s not ok.”

Ray is not the only person who feels as though the sex tape changed everything.
