Recently, Joe Budden took to social media to tease his upcoming podcast episode featuring Candace Owens. As expected, this elicited quite a response from fans, and from Peter Rosenberg. He took to Twitter/X to react to the unexpected guest, making it clear that he wasn’t a fan of her or the interview. “So sick of the idea that conversations need to be had with bigots, trolls, and immoral a-holes,” he wrote. “Exchanging ideas among smart good people is useful… hearing a hateful hack babble on about hate is not worth anyone’s time.”

Of course, the divisive figure was quick to issue a response of her own. She hit back at Rosenberg with a series of Tweets, arguing that he has no grounds to prevent two Black people from having a conversation. She even went on to dub him a “plantation supervisor,” and to bring up Rosenberg’s father’s past.

Candace Owens Calls Peter Rosenberg A “Plantation Supervisor”

“I love this so much. I don’t know who Peter Rosenberg is but I want to thank him for freaking out about me and @JoeBudden speaking with one another. One of the topics me and Joe covered is who exactly is behind trying to prevent and fracture black American relationships via the media?” she began. “Literally who the hell is @Rosenbergradio, who grew up in one of the wealthiest towns in America, to step to two black people—who came from nothing— to tell them they shouldn’t speak. Who the hell is Peter Rosenberg? Serious question… Peter Rosenberg— I would like to invite you to shut the hell up when black people are speaking with one another.”

“Peter Rosenberg is a plantation supervisor,” Owens added. “His dad, MJ Rosenberg worked on Capitol Hill for Democratic Senators and House members for 20 years and then worked with AIPAC for 6 years thereafter… As Joe Budden and so discussed, there is a government vested interest in keeping black Americans ignorant while they are fed filth. The Color Purple remake is finally out, and two stars heavily involved in its making are coming together for a chat. Moreover, Oprah Winfrey recently announced that she will interview Taraji P. Henson tonight (Saturday, January 6) on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) at 10PM (time zone unclear). However, if you miss the live airing, it will be available on MAX afterwards. “Cookie Lyons. Katherine Johnson. Yvette. And now Shug Avery. Those are the many characters @tarajiphenson has brought to life in ways only she could,” she captioned a picture of her with the actress. “Join us tonight as we sit down to discuss her career and the sisterhood she formed with @thecolorpurple cast! #OWNSpotlight with Taraji P. Furthermore, this is interesting considering a recent complaint Taraji P. Henson had about this movie’s production. “They gave us rental cars, and I was like, ‘I can’t drive myself to set in Atlanta,’” she told The New York Times in a recent interview. “This is insurance liability, it’s dangerous. Now they robbing people. What do I look like, taking myself to work by myself in a rental car?

Oprah Announces Interview With Taraji P. Henson Tonight

Nicki Minaj is throwing all hands on deck for the post-release promotion of her brand new album, Pink Friday 2. Moreover, fans are still poring over it, debating its quality, and picking their favorite tracks, a sentiment that will likely hold us over until the next project. However, she seems quite happy to bask in it all rather than take a break now, and she is promoting a lot of new interviews, conversations, bonus tracks, upcoming releases, appearances, her world tour, and so much more. The most recent example of this is a preview the rapper gave of an upcoming interview with comedian and social media star Funny Marco.

Previously, the two had met on Instagram Live to discuss the possibility of putting something together. For those unaware, Funny Marco is a new star in this slightly awkward, blunt, but nonetheless engaging and relatable brand of comedy these days. As such, we’re sure that he and Nicki Minaj had a great conversation filled with soon-to-be beloved moments. Either that or it was a much more chaotic and unhinged sit-down than expected, which we guess is its own bizarre form of engagement.

Nevertheless, this is the Trinidadian MC’s latest appearance with a notable content creator of sorts, and there are plenty of other notable ones. For example, she joined fellow New Yorker Kai Cenat for his recent Twitch stream, and it was about as much fun as you’d expect. Nicki Minaj tried to learn the Jersey club dance, but also had fun throwing it back for the chat. Considering that she’s not always outside despite a pretty heavy online presence, it’s actually quite sweet to see her engaging with fans, other creators, and the industry as a whole again. Not that the 41-year-old always has to, but we’d missed it for some time.

Kodak Black has a Drink Champs interview on the way, as the podcasting team announced with a new preview compilation. Moreover, it’s a series of clips and highlights from the conversation including some funny moments, topical summaries, and other interesting statements or antics during the recording. Considering N.O.R.E., DJ EFN, and the rest of the team’s reputation as one of the best hip-hop media shows right now, this is a pretty exciting moment for the rapper. Yak certainly has a lot to talk about, whether it’s his enduring career, his legal troubles, or his relationships with other artists.

In fact, it seems like he actually showed off a lot of his passion in this episode- at least, if his body language suggests anything. Furthermore, Kodak Black seems like he did most of the interview standing up instead of sitting down, as is the classic Drink Champs formula. Maybe he’s just a bit antsy and can’t stay sitting down for a long time, but it certainly gives him a lot more room to express himself with his full body movements. We can only imagine how much more vivid a story from the Florida MC will become if he’s in the space to give off a lot of energy.
