Diddy Reportedly Sold All Of His Stock In Revolt TV, The Media Platform He Founded, To An Anonymous Buyer

Whether Sean “Diddy” Combs was caught trying to “flee the country” or not, it’s getting harder to argue that things don’t look bad for him right now. After his properties in Los Angeles and Miami were both raided by federal agents on Monday (March 25), news broke today that the mogul also sold all his shares in Revolt Revolt Media & TV, the company he helped found in 2013.

According to TMZ, Combs sold all of his shares to an anonymous buyer for an undisclosed sum but that the company is still Black-owned. The new owner also plans to make themselves known in future weeks.

Combs stepped down as chairman of Revolt in November 2023. A statement from the company read, “While Mr. Combs has previously had no operational or day-to-day role in the business, this decision helps to ensure that Revolt remains steadfastly focused on our mission to create meaningful content for the culture and amplify the voices of all Black people throughout this country and the African diaspora.”

Combs stepped down in the wake of a November 2023 lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura alleging sexual assault and abuse at his hands over the course of their decade-long relationship. Since then, three more lawsuits were filed by separate women with similar allegations, and while Diddy maintains his innocence, a sex-trafficking investigation appears to be ongoing, despite authorities initially denying it in November.

Diddy Reportedly Sells Remaining Revolt TV Shares Amid Home Raid

Yesterday, rap fans were stunned to find their timelines full of videos of the feds raiding Diddy’s homes in both Los Angeles and Miami. It felt like the culmination of months of lawsuits and accusations made against the rap mogul finally coming to fruition. Overnight cameras caught his sons King and Justin pulling up to his LA mansion to pack up their belongings from the residence and take off. The rap mogul himself was spotted in Miami earlier today for the first time since the raids, but that doesn’t mean he’s not keeping busy.

As TMZ learned earlier today, Diddy has sold off all his shares in a company he founded amid the raids. That company is Revolt TV, the network that he co-founded in 2013 in an attempt to advance black culture. He stepped down from his role in the company last year, so for some his sale of the shares isn’t all that surprising. Sources can’t confirm the sum of money that the shares were sold for or who specifically they were sold to but does confirm that the company will remain black-owned.

Diddy Sells Revolt TV Shares

New details are emerging about the raids that were executed yesterday. Reports claim that Diddy himself had no idea that they were coming. He was allegedly with his family while they were being executed. Other reports claim that the feds seized electronics from his properties. The raids were reportedly in connection with an investigation into allegations of sex trafficking against the rap mogul.

Unsurprisingly, dozens of celebrities have weighed in on the news since it first broke yesterday. That includes some who claim that the raid is a long overdue reckoning with Diddy’s actions. But there are others who are calling him a scapegoat. What do you think of Diddy selling off his shares in Revolt TV just a day after his properties were raided by the feds? Do you think the sale has anything to do with the raids? Let us know in the comment section below.

50 Cent Is Reportedly Working To Develop A Documentary About Diddy Following His Sexual Assault Lawsuit Allegations

50 Cent’s longstanding disdain of Diddy appears to have reached new heights. According to Page Six, the former is allegedly working to develop an investigative documentary about latter and his legal woes. Given 50 Cent’s troll-like tendencies and the public pressure Diddy is facing following the strings of sexual assault lawsuits, people online are throwing their support behind the idea.

Although Diddy has maintained his innocence, 50 Cent is confident he has the investigative skills to find proof to substantiate the claims in court documents. “I thought Diddy was a billionaire music mogul,” wrote 50 Cent in a post on X (formerly Twitter). “If he’s smart, he will file for bankruptcy now. Anyone with real money knows why I’m saying this. I’m the best producer for the job guys. Here come the receipts.”

After learning that Diddy had stepped down as chairman of Revolt, 50 Cent rushed to X to express his interest in purchasing the network. “I’ll buy that from you, playboy, for the low because you know Cadillac and AT&T gonna pull out,” wrote 50 Cent. “I’ll give you a few dollars for it now! Sell it to me, then we can be friends. I’m serious. Call my phone.”

50 Cent has shown his producing chops with Starz shows such as BMF and the Power Universe franchise. Could a documentary be his next creative venture?

What Was Diddy’s Role At Revolt?

Following various allegations and lawsuits filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs, the rapper, producer, and entrepreneur has stepped down from Revolt, a music-centered television network he cofounded in 2013, according to TMZ, who first broke the news

What was Diddy’s role at Revolt

Since finding Revolt in 2013, alongside Andy Schuon, Combs served as a chairman for the network, however, was not actively involved in the network’s operations, according to a post from Revolt’s Instagram.

“Sean Combs has stepped down from his position as chairman of Revolt,” read the post. “While Mr. Combs has previously had no operational or day-to-day role in the business, this decision helps to ensure that Revolt remains steadfastly focused on our mission to create meaningful content for the culture and amplify the voices of all Black people throughout this country and the African diaspora.”

At the time of writing, TMZ reports that this is currently temporary, however, it is unknown if Diddy plans to step back into his role as a chairman.

Earlier this month, Diddy made shocking headlines after being accused of abuse and sexual assault by his ex-girlfriend, Cassandra Ventura, better known as singer Cassie. Though the lawsuit was settled within 24 hours, two other women filed separate lawsuits shortly after.

50 Cent Says He’s Interested In Buying Revolt After Diddy Steps Down As Chairman

50 Cent continued to troll his longtime rival Diddy on Twitter, Tuesday, while reacting to the news that the Bad Boy mogul intends to step down as chairman at Revolt. In response, 50 offered to purchase the company. TMZ broke the news about Diddy stepping down, earlier this week, saying that the move “was to not allow the accusations he’s facing distract from Revolt’s mission or success.”

“I’ll buy that from you play boy, for the low because you know Cadillac and AT&T gonna pull out,” 50 joked on Twitter. “I’ll give you a few dollars for it now! Sell it to me, then we can be friends [blushing emoji] I’m serious call my phone.”

Diddy has faced three sexual assault lawsuits in recent days. The first came from Cassie, who alleged sexual, physical, and emotional abuse. The two reached a settlement just 24 hours after the singer filed in court. Two other accusers have come forward in the time since. His spokesperson denied both allegations in a statement provided to HipHopDX. They wrote: “These are fabricated claims falsely alleging misconduct from over 30 years ago and filed at the last minute. This is nothing but a money grab. Because of Mr. Combs’ fame and success, he is an easy target for anonymous accusers who lie without conscience or consequence for financial benefit.”

50 Cent Trolls Diddy

They added: “The New York Legislature surely did not intend or expect the Adult Survivors Act to be exploited by scammers. The public should be skeptical and not rush to accept these bogus allegations.” Be on the lookout for further updates on the fallout from Diddy’s lawsuits on HotNewHipHop.

Is Diddy Still Involved With Revolt?

The fallout from Bad Boy Records artist Cassie’s rape and physical abuse civil suit against Diddy (real name Sean Combs) continues to mount. Although the pair reached a speedy settlement, two additional lawsuits have been filed by other women in the New York Supreme Court. While Combs, through his attorney, has maintained his innocence and a spokesperson shut down the newly filed cases as money grabs, the public’s opinion hasn’t swayed.

Due to his ownership claim in many companies, including a news entity, many question whether these brands will cut ties with Combs.

Is Diddy still involved with Revolt?

Today (November 28), the mogul’s media network, Revolt, formerly announced that Combs had stepped down as chairman.

The network, which is home to programming such as Drink Champs and Caresha Please, was co-founded by Diddy in 2013. In a press release, Combs discussed the inspiration behind the company. “When I started REVOLT, I always wanted to develop a platform to report the news from our perspective, from our lens, from our people, so I decided to launch ‘Black News,’” said Combs.

Revolt has not announced who will take over Combs’ duties as chairman. Read the network’s complete statement regarding Diddy stepping down below.

“While Mr. Combs has previously had no operational or day-to-day role in the business, this decision helps to ensure that Revolt remains steadfastly focused on our mission to create meaningful content for the culture and amplify the voices of all Black people throughout this country and the African diaspora.

Our focus has always been one that reflects our commitment to the collective journey of Revolt — one that is driven not by any individual, but by the shared efforts and values of our entire team on behalf of advancing, elevating, and championing our culture — and that continues.”

Diddy Steps Down As Chairman Of Revolt Amid Lawsuits

It’s been a hectic few weeks for Diddy dating back to a high-profile lawsuit filed against him by Cassie earlier this month. The suit made some pretty serious allegations against the rap mogul, though he’s denied everything he’s accused of. Just a day after the lawsuit was made public, the pair reached a settlement which was announced as a maneuver to end things more amicably.

But that didn’t keep his name out of the headlines for long. In the wake of the lawsuit, fans dug up old interviews and comments from past exes and associates of Diddy that didn’t always paint him in the best light. It got even worse when a second lawsuit was filed against him. A former Syracuse student claimed in a new lawsuit that Diddy drugged and sexually assaulted her on camera in 1991. Now, the swarm of bad buzz seems to finally be taking an actual toll on the rap mogul’s business dealings. Check out the latest move he was forced to make below.

Diddy Taking Temporary Break From Revolt

TMZ is now reporting that Diddy is stepping away from his role in Revolt. The rap mogul founded the media company a decade ago. While they’re careful to report that the move is only considered temporary, they do clarify that it is happening because he doesn’t want the drama from his new lawsuits to get in the way of Revolt’s success.

This isn’t the first business venture that’s been impacted by the recent allegations. It was recently made public that Macy’s would be phasing out Diddy’s activewear brand Sean John from all of their stores. It’s also manifested in other ways. During a recent performance of her hit song “Tik Tok” Kesha deliberately left out a famous line in the song. It’s a line on the opening verse where she namedrops Diddy directly. What do you think of Diddy stepping aside as Chairman of Revolt in response to the lawsuits filed against him recently? Let us know in the comment section below.

Dawn Montgomery Leaves Revolt After Cassie’s Diddy Allegations

Dawn Montgomery, who hosts Revolt network’s Monuments to Me podcast, has announced that she’s leaving the media company following Cassie’s recent bombshell lawsuit against Diddy. The show “celebrates every aspect of black women in a world that tries to ignore or destroy them,” according to its description by Revolt. Montgomery confirmed she won’t be returning for a third season on Twitter, Monday.

“FYI: I won’t be signing on to do the 3rd season of @revolttv’s Monuments To Me podcast. I am a [sexual assault] survivor & I cannot be a part of a show that’s supposed to uplift black women while @Diddy leads the company. Believe Black women,” Montgomery wrote on Twitter, on November 20.

Cassie sued Diddy for physical, sexual, and mental abuse, last week, but the two agreed on a settlement just one day later. “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,” Cassie wrote in a statement at the time. “I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.” In a statement of his own, Diddy added: “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”

Dawn Montgomery Leaves Revolt

Diddy’s lawyer, Ben Brafman, later clarified in a statement that the settlement does not imply guilt on the part of his client. He wrote: “Just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing. Mr. Combs‘ decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.” The lawsuit had claimed that Diddy “was prone to uncontrollable rage, and frequently beat Ms. Ventura savagely.” Be on the lookout for further updates on Diddy and Cassie on HotNewHipHop.

Kodak Black On “Drink Champs”: Rapper Has A Ball During Episode Preview

Kodak Black has a Drink Champs interview on the way, as the podcasting team announced with a new preview compilation. Moreover, it’s a series of clips and highlights from the conversation including some funny moments, topical summaries, and other interesting statements or antics during the recording. Considering N.O.R.E., DJ EFN, and the rest of the team’s reputation as one of the best hip-hop media shows right now, this is a pretty exciting moment for the rapper. Yak certainly has a lot to talk about, whether it’s his enduring career, his legal troubles, or his relationships with other artists.

In fact, it seems like he actually showed off a lot of his passion in this episode- at least, if his body language suggests anything. Furthermore, Kodak Black seems like he did most of the interview standing up instead of sitting down, as is the classic Drink Champs formula. Maybe he’s just a bit antsy and can’t stay sitting down for a long time, but it certainly gives him a lot more room to express himself with his full body movements. We can only imagine how much more vivid a story from the Florida MC will become if he’s in the space to give off a lot of energy.

Of course, we’re sure that there will be as many hilarious moments on this Drink Champs iteration as reflective or deeply personal ones. Kodak Black’s been through a lot in his life; some of it’s been by choice and design, and a lot of it is born due to circumstance or hardship. Either way, we’re sure that he will be able to touch on a lot of topics and paint a compelling picture of his mind state. After all, the Sniper Gang representative recently dedicated a new single “Hope You Know” to his relationship with his mother, so we know he can tap into that bag.

Meanwhile, are you looking forward to this Drink Champs interview? What are you most looking forward to seeing them discuss, announce, or look back on?
