Cesar Pina's Attorney Negotiating Plea Deal in Real Estate Scam Case

Cesar Pina, the controversial business partner of DJ Envy, is looking to reach a plea deal with federal prosecutors for his role in a real estate scam. According to AllHipHop, court docs highlight the work of Pina’s attorneys pushing for a continuance.

“Counsel for the parties represented that this additional continuance is necessary for effective preparation and to permit the parties to attempt to resolve this case prior to indictment and thereby avoid a trial,” the docs read. “Plea negotiations are currently in progress, and both the United States and the defendant desire additional time to negotiate a plea agreement, which would render grand jury proceedings and a trial in this matter unnecessary.”

In November, DJ Envy and Cesar Pina were named in a new lawsuit over their real estate business practices. In court documents obtained by AllHipHop, Envy, and Pina are being sued by Derik Deangelo, Chamblin Group Real Estate Ventures LLC, and Reispec Developments LLC.

The suit claims state the two men used their “Flipping New Jersey” seminars as “funnels to draw in victims” to their real estate scam. The lawsuit includes violations of the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act, a breach of contract, a civil RICO violation, fraudulent transfer, and more. The plaintiffs are seeking a jury trial and request $2,000,000 in damages.

“During these private consultations and meet and greets, members of the Pina network attempted to ‘size up’ the financial resources of each attendee and solicited individuals with sufficiently high net worth to ‘partner’ with Pina, DJ Envy, and other members of the network in real estate ‘joint ventures,’” the docs read. “During these meetings, Pina also offered his personal ‘consulting services’ wherein he made himself available for one-on-one private meetings with guests at his office for flat rate fees ranging from $1,500 to $2,500 per meeting and more.”

You can read more of the court documents here.

Recently, DJ Envy’s cohost, Charlamagne Tha God, spoke with the Rap Radar podcast and revealed that he would keep the show going if Envy was no longer part of the crew.

“‘The Breakfast Club’ is bigger than any of us as individuals,” Charla said. “I’ve always felt like that.”

He added, “I’ve never felt like The Breakfast Club was just a show about three individuals. That’s always where my mind was.”

Joe Biden & Kamala Harris Endorsement Leaves Charlamagne Tha God Regretful

2024 has only just begun, but already, this year’s Presidential Election is weighing heavy on the minds of Americans. Donald Trump critics are working hard to prevent the Republican reality star from landing in the White House again, with multiple states launching campaigns to keep him off the primary ballot (some successful, others not). On the Democratic side of the fence, current POTUS Joe Biden is hitting the trail again as he moves into his mid-80s, much to the disappointment of journalists like Charlamagne Tha God.

During 2020’s election, The Breakfast Club host endorsed Biden and his running mate, Kamala Harris. However, in a recent interview with Politico, Tha God confirmed he won’t make the same decisions this time. “I’ve learned my lesson from doing that. Once they got in the White House, she… kind of disappeared,” he said of the first BIPOC (and first woman) Vice President. According to Charlamagne, people in his life held him accountable when Harris failed to “hold it down” as he had promised them she would.

Charlamagne Tha God Hopes Current POTUS Won’t Run Again

“‘Damn, you told us to vote for [them].’ Do you know how many people say that to me all the time?” he vented to the outlet. As HipHopDX notes, Biden was in hot water after appearing on Charlamagne’s radio show in the year he entered office. At the time, the media mogul raised questions about Democrats taking the Black vote for granted. “You’ve got more questions, but I tell you … if you’ve got a problem whether or not you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t Black,” was the politician’s response.

Charlamagne Tha God isn’t the only public figure speaking out against President Joe Biden, though he may be the one to get his point across most poignantly. As far as our favourite rappers go, Denzel Curry is making his stance on the 84-year-old running in the 2024 election well known, which you can read more about at the link below. DJ Envy Requested to Submit Documents to Court or Face Arrest in Latest Development From Real Estate-Gate

DJ Envy Goes Against Lawyer's Advice, Makes Statement Against Rumored Involvement in Real State Scam

DJ Envy is on the clock. According to court reporter Meghann Cunniff, Envy must provide documents regarding Cesar Pina’s Whairhouse LLC bankruptcy by request by Judge Rosemay Gambardella to the court-mandated reported by Jan. 8.

If Envy does not meet the deadline he could be arrested and make a mandatory deposition in New Jersey bankruptcy court.

Envy already missed one deadline as Judge Gambardella states Envy did not comply witha subpoena to provide financial and communication documents by Nov. 28. The order also lists Pina and his wife, Jennifer Iturralde Pina, under the same Jan. 8 deadline. If the trio fail, Judge Gambardella could host a hearing “to address appropriate sanctions against Cesar Pina, Jennifer Iturralde Pina and Raashaun Casey for contempt of this Court’s order, including, but not limited to an order for arrest to bring the parties to the United States Bankruptcy Court.”

Last month, DJ Envy and Cesar Pina were named in a new lawsuit over their real estate business practices. In court documents obtained by AllHipHop, Envy, and Pina are being sued by Derik Deangelo, Chamblin Group Real Estate Ventures LLC, and Reispec Developments LLC.

Sexyy Red Explained Her Sex Tape Leak In A Hilariously Unhinged Interview With ‘The Breakfast Club’

Sexyy Red‘s new interview with The Breakfast Club goes right off the rails almost from jump, with the St. Louis rapper calling out the show’s co-host Jess Hilarious for shading her repeatedly over the past several months of her rise to fame. After things settle down, Sexyy goes on to explain her friendship with Drake (taking another shot at Jess for good measure) and how her sex tape was leaked on her Instagram Story two months ago.

After Charlamagne The God suggests that she leaked it herself to capitalize on the success of her uninhibited single “Pound Town,” Sexyy denies doing so, saying it happened accidentally when she set her phone down during “the moment” — probably meaning during a sex session. She also complains that the video in question was “wack” because it was taken when she was “fat, pregnant, and didn’t feel like doing sh*t.” She jokes that she has “way worse stuff in her phone” and that “I could really be a star” if she posted that stuff.

The lesson here, I suppose, is: If you’re going to shoot spicy videos, don’t use the Instagram camera! It makes things “easier” in a way (probably) but that “Your story” button is just a little TOO convenient to take the risk. Of course, if you’re Sexyy Red, it all just feeds the legend, which is growing by the day

Charlamagne Tha God Thinks “Pink Friday 2” Needed A Better Rollout

Charlamagne Tha God has given his thoughts about the approach Nicki Minaj took toward releasing Pink Friday 2. “I hate that this album didn’t have a bigger rollout. We need it was coming out but it’s Nicki Minaj. Whoever she’s signed to…Nicki needed and deserved a bigger rollout. She got records on this album. Why wouldn’t a single come out? Why wouldn’t a big video come out?” Charlemagne said on The Breakfast Club. Later in the conversation, he accused Nicki’s label of not having enough of a plan for the release. He noted this was especially apparent when she had to move the release date due to ColleGrove 2.

Pink Friday 2 did have two singles preceding its release. However, both were released well before the album was either announced or its release date revealed. Furthermore, as Charlamagne said, the album is stacked with big-name features such as J. Cole, Drake, and Future. However, the only thing those tracks received before the album was controversy. Additionally, while the album was also preceded by the AI fan collaboration “Gag City”, Charlamagne is right in arguing that Pink Friday 2 got a surprisingly muted release.

Charlamagne Tha God Calls On Joe Biden To Step Down Ahead Of 2024

However, critiquing the rollout of Pink Friday 2 isn’t the only thing Charlamagne has done recently. While hosting The Daily Show, Charlamagne Tha God said that Joe Biden could deliver “the perfect Christmas gift” by dropping out of the 2024 election. “The point is, we don’t need Biden to beat Donald Trump — just like we didn’t need RBG to stay on the court. Maybe if RBG had retired during the Obama years, we’d still have Roe v. Wade. Maybe. People said, ‘No, she needs to be there to protect Roe,’ and now look, both of them are gone. It’s true, they’re both gone,” he added. “See, the facts are: Biden’s not getting any younger, he’s not going to get any more popular, and he’s not getting a new running mate. So please Mr. President, give America the ultimate Christmas gift and step aside,” Charlamagne said.

Concerns about Biden’s age, as well as his plummeting popularity with younger voters, have Democrats worried about Biden continuing to run as the incumbent. Biden’s support of Israel, as well as general economic stagnation in the country, has seen young voters turn towards independent candidates. While it doesn’t endanger a major vote split, it could be enough of a vote siphon to cost Biden key states.

Ron DeSantis Makes Local Push In National Appeal

Meanwhile, one of Biden’s potential opponents is making a desperate plea as he continues to fall behind in the polls. Ron DeSantis threatened to sue the NCAA for excluding Florida State from the College Football Playoffs. DeSantis’ refocusing on Florida comes as his presidential hopes look more and more futile. According to polling data from FiveThirtyEight, DeSantis remains a distant second in Republican primaries. However, he is still nearly 50 points behind Donald Trump. Furthermore, Nikki Haley has been steadily gaining on DeSantis. If current trends continue, DeSantis may fall into third place in the run-up to the Iowa Caucus.

Furthermore, DeSantis cannot run for governor again in 2026 due to term limits. However, it’s clear that the firebrand politician is eager to see out his term overseeing the GOP EPCOT that he has turned the state into. Much like how Walt Disney, the founder of DeSantis’ biggest foe, created EPCOT as a vision of a “model future”, DeSantis has attempted to turn Florida into a vision of a GOP future on the state level. Sweeping control over education an healthcare access has DeSantis showcasing what a GOP supermajority can achieve. However, it is becoming more and more unlikely that he will be able to project that vision onto the national stage.

Charlamagne Tha God’s 50 Cent Praise Not Swaying Despite Rick Ross Criticism

Charlamagne Tha God has been sharing his opinions with the world for decades now, which is why he’s so comfortable standing in his integrity, even amid criticism from some of the biggest names in the industry. As we witness what appears to be the downfall of Diddy in real-time, The Breakfast Club host has enjoyed watching 50 Cent’s constant reaction posts land on social media, even labelling the Power producer a “diabolical genius” for how he’s handled the situation so far. While many would agree with Tha God, Rick Ross feels that the media personality is being a “d**k rider,” which he addressed during an episode of his New York radio show earlier this month.

“I stand by what I said. 50 Cent is absolutely a diabolical genius,” the 45-year-old told listeners. “If you look up the word diabolical and the definition of diabolical genius, then you know that is exactly what 50 Cent is. [Diabolical means] very evil but often intelligent. But most Cancers are that. We’re very sweet, very loving and we care about our people, but we do hate as hard as we love. So leave us alone,” Charlamagne continued, speaking on his and Fif’s shared zodiac sign.

50 Cent Still Has Charlamagne Gassing Him Up

Rather than throwing shade back at the “Not For Nothing” artist, Tha God went on to praise him too. “Now I will say too, Rick Ross is a mastermind as well. He’s a master marketer. And you know why? Because every video he posts, he’s promoting something. So even in that video, he’s promoting Belaire. And 50 does that too, by the way. Because if you gon’ go viral, add some value to it. So I respect both those brothers. They all have different levels of genius. And I wish everybody could just play nice. That’s what I wish,” Charlamagne poignantly reflected.

50 Cent is showing no signs of slowing down on trolling Diddy as more lawsuits against the music mogul roll out. Instead, he’s now adding Rick Ross into the mix, using some of the Biggest Boss’ lyrics to break down what’s going on with his contemporary at the moment. Read more about that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Charlamagne Tha God Labels 50 Cent A “Diabolical Genius” Amid Diddy Feud

Charlamagne Tha God praised 50 Cent as a “genius” during a recent episode of the Brilliant Idiots podcast with Andrew Schulz. In doing so, he referenced the G-Unit rapper’s latest dig at Diddy, in which he offered to purchase the Revolt brand. 50 posted on social media: “I’ll buy [Revolt] from you play boy, for the low because you know Cadillac and AT&T gonna pull out. I’ll give you a few dollars for it now! Sell it to me, then we can be friends. I’m serious call my phone.” The comments came after the series of sexual assault lawsuits leveled against Diddy in recent weeks.

“I’ma tell you why 50 is literally a diabolical genius,” Charlamagne said on the show. “ [He’s] telling people who the sponsors are so if they wanna harass Cadillac and AT&T, that’ll happen […] don’t fuck with Fif.”

In the wake of the lawsuits, Diddy temporarily stepped down as the chairman of Revolt. The allegations began with Cassie, last month, who accused the Bad Boy mogul of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse. She referenced several alleged instances from throughout their years-long relationship. The two agreed on a settlement just 24 hours later. In the days after that, two more alleged victims came forward with similar stories about Diddy.

Charlamagne & Andrew Schulz Discuss Diddy

His spokesperson denied both allegations in a statement provided to HipHopDX. They wrote: “These are fabricated claims falsely alleging misconduct from over 30 years ago and filed at the last minute. This is nothing but a money grab. Because of Mr. Combs’ fame and success, he is an easy target for anonymous accusers who lie without conscience or consequence for financial benefit.” Be on the lookout for further updates on Charlamagne Tha God as well as 50 Cent and Diddy on HotNewHipHop.

Nardo Wick Fan Attack Has Charlamagne Tha God Calling For The Rapper To Ditch His Crew

Charlamagne Tha God has urged Nardo Wick to ditch his long-time crew in favor of professional security after his entourage brutally assaulted a fan. Charlamagne argued that the job of security is not to “beat people up” but instead make real-time decisions to best ensure the safety of their charge. That requires a level of training that Charlamagne argues Wick’s current crew simply doesn’t have. Furthermore, Charlamagne noted that sticking with his crew could legal to more legal headaches. The fan who was assaulted by two members of Wick’s team has already retained a lawyer.

The music world is still reeling from the horrifying video of two of Wick’s crew assaulting a fan. The video, captured by venue CCTV, shows that the man was merely trying to grab a selfie with the rapper and did not appear to pose any kind of threat. However, as the video shows, two of Wick’s crew took it upon themselves to violently assault the fan. The consequences of that attack are still unfolding.

Nardo Wick Speaks On Fan Attack

Wick was quick to issue a statement distancing himself from the actions of his entourage after it happened. “I don’t condone what happened to my fan George after my show in any type of way. And I sent his mama my number instantly the night it happened. And I was even gone make a post to find out who he was before his mama text me.” Wick goes on to explain how things got out of hand so quickly. I can’t control another grown man actions, I aint know that was gone happen and I was mad when it happened.” Wick wrote on social media.

Furthermore, the two perpetrators of the attack – 34-year-old Zachary L. Benton and a 15-year-old male – turned themselves in on December 1. This came after police issued a warrant for the two men. Charlamagne Tha God Reveals The Future Of ‘The Breakfast Club’

Charlemagne

Charlamagne Tha God delved into the prospect of his co-host DJ Envy’s potential absence during a recent interview. The discussion revolved around DJ Envy’s real estate scandal allegations with business partner Cesar Pina, prompting questions about The Breakfast Club’s future.

Charlamagne Talks DJ Envy

Charlamagne Tha God, co-host of Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, has addressed the potential absence of his co-host, DJ Envy.

In a recent interview on Rap Radar on Nov. 17, Charlamagne discussed DJ Envy’s alleged real estate Ponzi scheme scandal. When asked about the future of The Breakfast Club without DJ Envy, Charlamagne expressed his commitment to the show, stating that it will continue even if he is the last remaining original member.

“I think you kind of have to, right? You know what I mean? Because I think The Breakfast Club is bigger than any of us as individuals. I’ve always felt like that,” Charlamagne said.

New Talent?

Charlamagne drew parallels to Angela Yee, a former co-host who left to have her own show on Power 105, highlighting that the platform can still thrive with new talent under its umbrella:

“My mind… what I always wanted for The Breakfast Club was new talent constantly comes in and is a part of this… is under this umbrella of the club. So whether Angela Yee is there, or I’m there, or Envy’s there, the platform can still continue. I’ve never felt like The Breakfast Club was just a show about three individuals. That’s always where my mind was,” Charlamagne added.

There has been no confirmation regarding DJ Envy’s departure from the show or the outcome of his involvement in the real estate scandal.

The radio cohost was surrounded by controversy after his business partner Cesar Pina was arrested on Oct. 19 and was charged with a real estate Ponzi scheme. Pina later defended DJ Envy on Instagram Live and said Envy had nothing to do with the allegations.

‘The Breakfast Club’ Moves To BET & VH1

In recent years, The Breakfast Club has made significant moves, including a partnership with BET Networks and iHeartMedia, resulting in their show airing on BET and VH1. However, former co-host Angela Yee decided to pursue her own show, Way Up with Angela Yee, outside of the new partnership.

Amazon Pulls The Plug On AMP

One show that unfortunately was taken away was Nicki Minaj’s radio show, Queen Radio. The show’s cancellation was due to Amazon shutting down their live listening service Amp, which had other shows from Nick Cannon, Lil Yachty, and more.
