You’re probably aware of how the Diddy scandal has either created or revived a lot of conspiracy theories around celebrities, whether they’re responsible for abhorrent things or they were silenced by the industry. However, Charlamagne Tha God doesn’t take these theories very seriously… Except when talking about the King of Pop, that is. “I’ve been hearing that theory about, you know, the corporations,” he began. “Listen, I could be totally wrong. I don’t think that there’s too many people that are important enough for a corporation to want to do all this to. And I really mean this when I say this, and I know that this is a crazy conspiracy theory. There’s only one person I believe in Hollywood who people conspired to actually take down. I’m talking about a mass conspiracy. Anytime they take you down, it’s people conspiring, ‘Cause it’s usually because you did some s**t.
“But I think that there’s one person who they really took down because he had too much power,” Charlamagne continued. “And I believe that person was Michael Jackson. I truly believe that. The reason I believe that is because – you can look into the story. You know, we had Deon Cole on The Breakfast Club the other day. Deon Cole told us the story of how he got high with Paul McCartney, and Paul McCartney told him. Paul McCartney and Michael used to be real cool. Paul was telling Michael, like, ‘Yo, you got to get your business together, you got to get your business right.’ He told him about the publishing game. Michael ended up getting so big that he bought The Beatles’ publishing. The Beatles’ publishing was worth so much that, literally, Sony gave Michael Jackson half of their publishing company just to own The Beatles’ catalog.
“So whenever you used to see – look it up!” he added. “Whenever you used to see Sony ATV, that was Sony and ATV was Michael Jackson’s publishing company, right? Imagine how powerful a Black man is when he owns a majority of the music industry’s publishing. And, in some cases, was even giving publishing back to some of the artists. He gave Little Richard his publishing back. I don’t know how many people he did that to, but he gave Little Richard his publishing back. Look, in 2016, Sony paid $750 million to acquire Michael Jackson’s – what is that, 50% stake in Sony ATV Music Publishing. A joint venture that Jackson and Sony formed in 1995. This made Sony the sole owner of the world’s largest music publishing company. I believe – this is all conspiracy theory. This is Brilliant Idiots, by the way, we just talking, it’s a podcast.
“I believe that Michael Jackson had too much power in the music industry, had too much control over the most valuable asset in music which is people’s publishing, and I believe they had to take him out because of it,” Charlamagne concluded. “Smear his name, you know, eventually get him up out of here. And 2016, *laughs* they got their bag for way cheaper than they probably would’ve paid if he was still alive. He’s the one person. Motherf***ers talk about how Bill Cosby tried to buy NBC… You know, nah. He’s the one person I believe in entertainment – entertainment, mind you, I said the entertainment industry. Conspiracies happen all the time in other industries that actually really matter. But in the entertainment industry, he’s the one person I believe, actually, they killed his reputation and ultimately killed him.”
Ja’Maal Buster, a celebrity style icon and self-proclaimed “Eyelash Guru,” has tragically passed away at 34, as B.Scott announced on social media late Thursday night (September 26). No cause of death has been revealed at press time, and social media users and Ja’Maal’s loved ones are pouring out tributes and heartfelt recollections in their memory. The Texarkana, TX native’s various social media accounts have not yet addressed this saddening loss at press time. For those unfamiliar with Buster, they quickly rose in the worlds of style and fashion, especially thanks to their penchant for eyelashes. They worked with various celebrities after leaving their previous employer, Dolce & Gabbana, including Rihanna, Teyana Taylor, and many more.
Then, Ja’Maal Buster opened Fabulous Lashes by Ja’Maal Buster, now known as Ja’Maal Buster Lashes. At press time, it seems like Buster’s official website disappeared. Nevertheless, admirers know their story. The Texas native began as a hair specialist in the beauty world before discovering their talent for eyelash styling. During a 2018 interview with Beauty Launch Pad, they explained how they learned their technique and creativity for lashes through a Japanese eyelash specialist who shared and cultivated their expertise through email exchanges.
As for how Ja’Maal Buster entered the world of celebrity fashion and styling, they had shared that a client introduced them to their friends, which eventually landed them a Vogue collaboration. Also, in another interview, they stated that Beyoncé, Lindsay Lohan, and other superstars have used many of their products.
Meanwhile, this is how Ja’Maal Buster explained their love for their craft, and what are some of the things that enticed them the most about the process of styling eyelashes. “My favorite part is creating individual looks for each of my clients,” they expressed. “Every woman is different; every eye is different; so you have to try to create something that accentuates that person. I don’t lash every client the same way because it doesn’t always work on every eye. I find a lot of people are just doing lashes; they’re not creating something that will look great on their individual clients.” Rest In Peace Ja’Maal Buster.
When it was reported that Roc Nation and Jay-Zcanceled their annual pre-Grammys brunch, a lot of people expressed shock online. Not because of logistical factors or emergencies, mind you, but because they couldn’t believe that this gaggle of stars was going to skip out on a free promo and luxury day. Jokes aside, it turns out we can never assume celebrities don’t want to be in that zone, as Hov hosted a pre-Grammys party in Hollywood at the Bird Streets Club Friday night (February 2). However, it definitely wasn’t the same set-up as the Roc Nation brunch, so we wonder if this is a case of making up for it or adding something new and extra to the pot.
Furthermore, celebrities in attendance -– according to this TMZ report on the occasion -– include Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Odell Beckham Jr., Karrueche Tran, Quavo, Corey Gamble, Lil Uzi Vert, and of course, Jay-Z himself. We’re surprised that Megan Thee Stallion didn’t make it, as she recently spoke on the great advice she gets from the New York rap legend. Of course, she must be very busy right now, and there were plenty of other typical names in his orbit that escaped mention here. The big one is obviously the 54-year-old’s wife Beyonce.
Jay-Z, Lil Uzi Vert & More Leaving Pre-Grammys Link-Up
In fact, reports indicate that Beyonce won’t perform at the Grammys this year despite some rumors floating around. While this may disappoint fans, we’ll remind you that she already won big at the last ceremony and that she barely has anything to submit this year as far as new nominations. Back to this Hollywood party, though, it looks like everyone had a good time and came dressed in their best. Kim Kardashian looked stunning in a black leather look, for example.
Meanwhile, with this pre-Grammys celebration in mind, we can’t wait for what it brings on Sunday (February 4). Do you agree with our predictions for the hip-hop and R&B categories? Let us know in the comments down below. Also, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Jay-Z.
It’s hard being a celebrity going through an expensive and public divorce. It can be a bit difficult to give up half your fortune to someone. Whether they go their separate ways because of irreconcilable differences, cheating or abuse, celebrities spend millions to divide assets.
Celebrities can fall into a love trap that could take a big chunk of their net worth. Madonna, Dr. Dre and most recently, Kevin Costner have all experienced legal battles with specifics on spousal/child support and properties. Here are 7 of the most expensive celebrity divorce showdowns.
Bill & Melinda Gates – $76 Billion
Following an affair the Microsoft co-founder had in 2020, Bill and Melinda Gates divorced in 2021 after 27 years of marriage. The pair’s petition didn’t indicate that there was a signed prenuptial agreement on the books. The exes opted for a separation contract to negotiate the terms of their split. No child support was granted because their three children were already grown. Although one of the smoothest celebrity divorces, it was also one of the priciest. Melinda walked away with $76 billion, making her the 10th wealthiest woman in the world.
The couple continues to run the philanthropic Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in Seattle. Worth $50 billion, the foundation is one of the world’s largest charitable organizations. The foundation was in a trust, and therefore could not be divided as part of the marital estate.
Jeff & Mackenzie Bezos – $38 Billion
The Amazon founders married in 1993 — one year before founding the company founding — and share four children. In 2018, the National Enquirer teased a story claiming that Jeff Bezos was having an affair with a former Fox News anchor. The next year, he and wife Mackenzie Bezos divorced.
Because their divorce jurisdiction was in Washington (a community property state), all assets and debts were held jointly by the couple. For that reason, the celebrity divorce was very amicable. They did not have a prenuptial agreement. And although MacKenzie Bezos did not receive half the marital assets, her 4% stake in Amazon was still worth approximately $38.3 billion. That does not include any other liquid, real estate, or other assets she received.
Alec & Jocelyn Wildenstein – $3.8 Billion
Jocelyn Wildenstein, the New York City socialite known as “Catwoman” due to the results of her extensive plastic surgery, received a $2.5 billion divorce settlement when she divorced art dealer Alec Wildenstein in 1999. Problems started when Jocelyn claimed she found Alec in bed with a 21-year-old Russian model. She also claimed he pulled a gun on her, which led to his arrest.
Jocelyn Wildenstein also received an annuity of $100 million to be paid in 13 years. The celebrity divorce was particularly contentious and the judge stipulated when awarding Wildenstein her settlement that she should not use any of the money for further cosmetic surgeries. But she still managed to fall on hard times and filed for bankruptcy in 2018, which she claimed was due to the discontinuation of her $100 million annual divorce settlement by her deceased ex-husband’s family.
Hollywood’s most infamous couple, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian divorced in 2021, but trouble in their marriage began years earlier. West’s string of erratic behavior, controversial remarks, and support of Donald Trump seriously strained their relationship. And in Feb. 2022, the SKIMS founder officially filed for divorce.
The couple, lovingly dubbed “Kimye” by the media, have joint physical and legal custody of their four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. Kim Kardashian receives $200,000 a month in child support from Kanye West, who’s also responsible for half of the children’s medical, educational, and security expenses. Both parties waived spousal support. When it comes to their property portfolios, the pair had a prenup and kept their homes separate.
However, Forbes reports they jointly owned several homes, artwork, vehicles, and jewelry amounting to US$70 million in shared assets, as of 2022. Back in 2021 West boasted a net worth of $1.3 billion. That amount dwindled after his Yeezy brand was dropped by Adidas. Kardashian’s current net worth according to Forbes is $1.8 billion.
Rupert & Anna Murdoch – $1.7 Billion
Former 21st Century Fox CEO Rupert Murdoch divorced Anna Murdoch Mann, a Scottish journalist with whom he shared three children, in 1999. Troubles started when Murdoch had an affair with his next wife Wendy Deng, whom he married two weeks after settling the divorce. “He was hard, ruthless, and determined,” she would state years later about her ex-husband.
California being the couple’s home state — and a community-property state — Anna Murdoch could have walked away with half of the family fortune, which was then valued at $7.8 billion. But having regarded the company as her life’s work, she used her leverage to protect the company for her children. The couple agreed to a family trust where their three children, along with his child by his first wife, would inherit the company. Rupert, however, breached the agreement for his children with Anna when he had two more kids with Deng. He then bought them off, each with $150 million, and they agreed to divide the trust into six parts, instead of four. Anna Murdoch reportedly received $1.7 billion from the settlement.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver – $300 Million
Although Maria Shriver filed for divorce in 2011, soon after she learned of Schwarzenegger’s infidelity and secret child with their maid Mildred Baena, it took the couple a decade to sign the papers. Married for 25 years, the two handled their divorce quietly and without throwing accusations in court, which is a bit weird considering how long it took them to settle.
There were virtually no public actions taken in the case between 2011 and June 2023. Financial details of the settlement were kept confidential. Because the couple’s four children together are now all adults, there is no child support or custody arrangement.
Settlement papers say that neither owes the other any spousal support, but both reserve the right to seek it through the court in the future. Shriver is entitled to half of what Schwarzenegger earned from the time they got married in 1986 until the divorce, including his pension. Arnold has a net worth of $450 million.
Dr. Dre & Nicole Young – $100 Million
Dr. Dre and his ex-wife Nicole Young reached a massive divorce settlement that allowed her to walk away from their 24-year marriage with $100 million, one-eight of Dre’s fortune. She also kept a Rolls Royce, Range Rover, Escalade limousine, and Spyder motorcycle as well as all of her jewelry. The iconic producer of such albums as The Chronic and The Slim Shady LP has a net worth of $500 million.
During the 18-month divorce proceeding, Dr. Dre (born Andre Young) tried to enforce a prenuptial agreement signed in 1996. But powerhouse attorney Samantha Spector fought the validity of the prenup, arguing that Young had signed it under “duress.” Young revealed lots of Dre’s appalling behavior in court. In a 2021 feature, Rolling Stone Magazine reported that “Nicole claimed in court papers that Dre kicked her out of their home in early April.” Additionally, it alleged Dre “plotted to secretly transfer their assets, to deny Nicole her equal share.” She also accused him of multiple instances of domestic abuse, including holding a gun to her head twice and punching her in the head and face, all of which he denied.
Angela White (formerly known as Blac Chyna) is boldly embracing change. This time, she’s sharing the raw and painful details of her ongoing journey to reduce the size of her breast implants. The reality star turned entrepreneur has been candid about her decision, citing a combination of personal preference and health complications stemming from multiple plastic surgeries. In a recent and revealing statement, Chyna disclosed that her motivation for downsizing her breast implants was rooted in a desire for a new aesthetic that better aligns with her body type. However, given her history of undergoing multiple implant procedures, the transition to her desired size has proven to be both challenging and gradual.
Chyna, who has always been open about her body modifications, unveiled that she has undergone two recent surgeries to decrease her implants from 585cc to 190cc. The transparency with which Angela White has shared her journey shines a light on the physical and emotional toll that cosmetic procedures can exact. As a prominent public figure, Chyna’s decision to speak openly about the challenges and side effects serves as a reminder of the importance of honesty within the sphere of beauty enhancements. Blac Chyna’s revelation adds a layer of vulnerability to her public persona. Offering a humanizing perspective on the glamorized world of celebrity transformations. As she navigates the complexities of her breast implant reduction journey, Angela White’s story becomes a cautionary tale. As well as an empathetic exploration of the unforeseen consequences that can accompany cosmetic procedures. Stay tuned as Chyna continues to share her transformative experience. She’s providing a glimpse into the highs and lows of the pursuit of self-expression within the realms of fame and beauty.
Twista’s flow is legendary, and it turns out that his machine gun speed actually matches well with actual gunshots as the beat. Moreover, he recently performed his hit “Overnight Celebrity” as a man shot two assault rifles to the beat of the track, complimenting his flow quite well. Before you get scared, let’s be clear: this was a planned and safe performance, with no reported injuries and carried out by professionals. After all, the rapper is a certified firearm instructor, and has long been a fan of gun culture. However, he also promotes educational initiatives and conceal carry programs to combat gun violence in the United States, so he doesn’t let his fandom get in the way of safety and security when it comes to gun laws.
Furthermore, the Shooter Ready MC seemed like he was having a lot of fun during this unique performance, and we can’t blame him. It’s got to be at least a little bit satisfying to hear gunshots accentuate your drums and keep your flow up. In addition, plenty of folks who saw this on social media were quick to make some funny jokes about it. Also, they referenced his experience with firearms since most people might see this video out of context.
Twista’s Gunshot Remix Of “Overnight Celebrity”: Watch
Back in June of last year, though, Twista revealed his ventriloquist skills, and wants to take them to the next level. Eventually, he wants to be able to rap through a puppet, and this would be simply another challenge in his path to become the best and most versatile lyricist possible. After all, if the 49-year-old can rap through a puppet as well as he can ride a “NRA-type beat,” very few could compete with his prowess. Jokes aside, it’s great to see such a talent continue to further himself creatively so far into his career.
Meanwhile, the Chicago native’s recent remix of “CUFF IT” by Beyoncé also re-introduced the lyricist into many’s ears. As one of the most technically unique MCs of his era- and before and after it, for that matter- you can never get enough. Let’s see what he tackles next as a creative project. On that note, check back in with HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Twista.
Alyce Huckstepp has become a figure of growing public interest due to her relationship with Jamie Foxx, an Oscar-winning actor, comedian, and musician. Despite her connection to a celebrity, Huckstepp has managed to maintain a private life, a stark contrast to Foxx’s public persona. This article aims to provide a comprehensive view of Alyce based on available information.
Huckstepp, unlike Foxx, is not a public figure and has minimal social media presence. She is an Australian former fitness model. Huckstepp has not spoken publicly about her personal or professional life. So very little has been confirmed about her upbringing and private life. She previously promoted a business venture on social media but has since deleted her Instagram account, further limiting public insight into her life.
Jamie Foxx and Alyce Huckstepp’s relationship came to public attention when they were first spotted together at a nightclub in Miami Beach in March 2022. This was the beginning of a relationship that would soon capture media and public interest. They made their initial public appearance as a couple at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2022, and Huckstepp was also present at the premiere of Foxx’s film Day Shift in August 2022.
Huckstepp’s role became particularly notable during Foxx’s health scare in April 2023, where she provided significant support during his recovery. The couple has been seen together in various high-profile locations, including Nobu restaurant in Malibu and on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
According to US Weekly and Men’sHealth, a source close to Foxx said the following about Huckstepp: “Aside from his family, Alyce has been a huge source of support throughout his recovery process. She makes him really happy and they spend as much time together as possible. The source also mentioned the dynamics of the couple’s relationship, by noting: “They’ve told one another they love each other, and they have an amazing time whenever they’re together… Alyce has a great sense of humor so she’s able to keep up with Jamie. They have a very playful banter and she keeps him on his toes which he loves.”
Alyce Huckstepp’s Discreet Life & Future With Jamie Foxx
Rumors suggest that Foxx is considering a more serious commitment with her, possibly marriage and expanding their family. But overall, Alyce Huckstepp remains a private individual despite her high-profile relationship. Her relationship with Jamie Foxx has attracted media attention, but details about her personal life are scarce. The couple’s preference for privacy means that much of what is known about them comes from public sightings and media speculations rather than direct statements. Huckstepp’s role in Foxx’s life, particularly during his recent health challenges, shows her important role as a supportive partner.
Flavor Flav will reportedly be among the stars on the British reality TV show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!‘s next season, according to a report from The Sun. Moreover, if you’re unfamiliar, it’s a show in which various celebrities are dropped in the jungle and compete to become “King” or “Queen” of the environment. Apparently, producers for the show are trying to get him on for 1 million pounds, and it’s very likely that it could end up happening. After all, the Public Enemy icon was already a contestant on the U.K.’s Celebrity Big Brother back in 2005.
However, there are some individuals online who aren’t happy with this move, considering his past crimes. Flavor Flav’s history of domestic abuse includes prison time in 1991 for assaulting Karen Ross, the mother of his three kids. Two years later, authorities hit him with domestic violence and drug charges, and although his atonement for his crimes against partners is less clear, he’s been sober for a while now. Even considering this and the father of eight’s paths of retribution and recovery over recent years, many won’t be happy with this decision if it materializes.
“It’s not a done deal and talks are still ongoing,” a television source allegedly told The Sun concerning Flavor Flav. “[But] there is a lot of buzz around signing this big-name American music star at ITV. He is royalty in the rap world. But his previous offences are a cause for concern and won’t sit well in today’s climate.” On the other hand, charity organization Women’s Aid expressed their discomfort with the decision. “It is disappointing that someone with a long track record of domestic abuse is being considered for a much-loved prime time program,” spokeswoman Teresa Parker remarked.
Meanwhile, the clock-wearing emcee most likely won’t address this unless he will, in fact, star in the show. Even then, it’s impossible to tell whether he’ll fully give this the time of day. Either way, the 64-year-old will respond to the offer and proceed in kind, and so will any detractors. For more news and the latest updates on Flavor Flav, keep checking with HNHH.
Earlier this summer, Tory Lanez finally received his sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion back in 2020. The judge gave him 10 years behind bars, which he’s now in the process of appealing. He recently requested to be released on bail, but a judge quickly shut him down. Regardless, sources close to the rapper claim that he remains hopeful.
Recently, the performer was transferred to North Kern State Prison. This prompted chatter surrounding some of the crimes that have taken place at the facility in the past year or so, which include various violent acts, even murder. Earlier this week, it came out that Lanez is being held in Administrative Segregation. This means that he’s fairly isolated, and being kept away from the other inmates.
Tory Lanez Reportedly “Scared For His Life” In Prison
According to reports, Lanez has a cell of his own, and every time he leaves he’s placed in handcuffs. He’s also not allowed to eat in the cafeteria with the other prisoners, meaning that his meals are delivered straight to his cell. Apparently, even when he goes outside in the yard, he’s kept in a special area away from everyone else. Though this must certainly be lonely, it might be for his own good. A source recently spoke with TMZ, claiming that Lanez feels especially at-risk because he’s a high-profile inmate.
“Tory is scared for his life and safety in prison. He feels like he is an instant and direct target because of his celebrity status,” they explained. “He stands in at 5-foot-3, so his size is definitely a setback.” The source went on to describe how Lanez continues to hold out hope that he’ll be released. “He is housed with real hardcore criminals, murderers,” they added. “So he is really hoping that his lawyers will be able to continue to fight for his freedom while still maintaining his innocence. The whole thing is a mess.” What do you think of Tory Lanez being in fear for his safety in prison? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on Tory Lanez.
Russell Brand is facing serious allegations of sexual assault for acts reportedly committed between 2006 and 2013. Four women have come forward with accusations of rape, sexual assault, and emotional abuse. These allegations were brought to light through a joint investigation by The Sunday Times,The Times, and Channel 4 Dispatches.
The four women, who have chosen to use pseudonyms to protect their identities, have made disturbing claims about Russell Brand’s conduct. Nadia, who had an intimate relationship with Brand, accused him of rape after she rejected his suggestion of a threesome. Fearing damage to her reputation and potential backlash, she did not report the incident to the police at the time. However, she recently submitted text messages and medical records as evidence.
Alice was 16 when she dated Russell Brand, who was 31 at the time. She alleged that he forced her to perform a sexual act. Moreover, Alice claimed that he referred to her as “the child” and instructed her to deceive her parents and friends about their alleged relationship. Another accuser, Phoebe, had a prior sexual relationship with Brand and accused him of sexual assault at his house. The fourth accuser is Brand’s ex-girlfriend, Jordan Martin. Jordan claimed in a self-published book, kNot: Entanglement With A Celebrity, that he sexually, physically, and emotionally abused her.
The investigation revealed additional testimonies of abuse by Brand from various women, including indecent exposure on a BBC set and threats towards women who refused his advances. Comedian Daniel Sloss spoke about knowing of the allegations and how female comedians warned each other about Brand’s predatory behavior.
In response to these serious allegations, Russell Brand has taken to his YouTube channel to strongly deny any wrongdoing. He has characterized the accusations as “criminal” and “baroque,” suggesting that he is the target of a “vendetta” and a “witch hunt.” While acknowledging his promiscuity, he maintains that all of his sexual encounters were consensual. However, the fallout from these allegations has been swift and severe for Brand.
YouTube temporarily suspended his ability to monetize content on its platform, citing its commitment to taking such allegations seriously. However, not all platforms are taking the same approach. In fact, Rumble has criticized the chair of a parliamentary committee, Dame Caroline Dinenage, for sending a letter requesting the suspension of Russell Brand’s advertising revenue on the platform. In response, Rumble called the letter “extremely disturbing” and argued against penalizing creators for actions that occur outside of their platform. They explained that the recent allegations against Brand had no direct connection to Rumble’s content and reaffirmed their dedication to maintaining a free and open internet.
Despite these differing responses from online platforms, Russell Brand faced other consequences as well. His talent agency severed ties with him, and his upcoming book release and comedy tour were postponed. This development occurred in the midst of reports of additional individuals coming forward with allegations, which are currently under investigation by The Times. Furthermore, both the BBC and Channel 4 have announced internal investigations into Brand’s conduct during his time with them.
These allegations come at a time when the #MeToo movement continues to expose sexual misconduct by individuals in positions of power. However, certain celebrities have come to Brand’s defense. Tucker Carlson, Elon Musk, and Alex Jones suggested that he’s facing criticism due to his promotion of what they labeled as “alternative perspectives” on his YouTube channel.
In summary, the Russell Brand sexual assault accusations have had a big impact on the entertainment world and society. Even though Brand says he’s innocent, these serious accusations, especially in the context of the #MeToo movement, lead to important discussions about abuse in the entertainment industry. This story will keep developing in the public eye, leaving Brand’s career and reputation uncertain.
