Candace Owens Targets Sexyy Red While Criticizing The Evolution Of Popular Music

Candace Owens has a lot of hot takes about the music industry, but the conservative commentator’s issues do not solely rest on any one artist. She recently hopped on Nick Cannon’s Counsel Culture show to talk about the “conspiracy” that labels push certain images of Black culture for maximum exploitation and to lessen their worth. Owens specifically brought up Sexyy Red as an example, comparing the differences between her and other massive Black musicians of yesteryear such as Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. Basically, the media star thinks this is part of a plan to belittle the Black community and sell debauchery over artistry.

However, this argument is about as old as time itself, and not even Candace Owens’ perceptive assessment of how the music industry informs its exports and disseminations fully explores this narrative. People like Sexyy Red find success because they find an audience, and that audience listens to her music for a whole variety of different reasons. Sadly, that hasn’t made her garner any less hate online – sometimes from Owens herself – but she continues to expand her career despite this pushback.

Candace Owens Believes Sexyy Red Is Part Of A “Conspiracy”

Instead, what Candace Owens talked to Nick Cannon about is more of a question of variety and versatility in the mainstream music market. Sadly, her own argument fails to consider how Sexyy Red is part of a much larger artistic landscape that does include figures emulating the likes of Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston, and how more traditionalist critiques of artists like Sexyy fail to recognize this. It’s part of the holes within conservative arguments against certain forms of artistic expression. They minimize accountability and willpower for the audience and exaggerate what listening to artists like the St. Louis femcee actually says about you.

In other lanes, Candace Owens continues to paint other superstars like Jay-Z and Beyoncé as devils within the industry, so her hot takes will probably never stop. As for Sexyy Red, we doubt that she really cares too much about these comments, as she already sidestepped far worse variations of them. But Owens does bring up some interesting points about industry standards and demographic targeting, even if her conclusion lands as a misguided presumption.

Candace Owens Attacks JAY-Z & Beyonce Over Alleged Ties To Diddy

Candace Owens went off on JAY-Z and Beyonce during the latest episode of her show. The rant comes after she accused Beyonce of taking money in exchange for her endorsement of Kamala Harris, a claim that’s since been labeled false information on Instagram. Afterward, Tina Knowles went off on Owens for the allegation. Owens now accuses Beyonce of having a “mental breakdown” over the accusation and calling her mother for support.

In doing so, she accused Beyonce and JAY-Z of being “close” with Diddy, as the Bad Boy mogul remains behind bars while awaiting trial for charges of alleged sex trafficking and racketeering. “If you wanna start with being authentic. Maybe give us some answers about Diddy’s parties. Your husband’s been close with him,” she said before concluding, “I would really caution you to see which way the wind is blowing girlfriend. Because it is not in your favor.” Diddy has pleaded not guilty to the charges and denied all allegations against him.

Bringing up Diddy wasn’t the way Owens took aim at the couple. “10 years ago, Beyonce and JAY-Z telling us who to vote for, that would have mattered. But it just doesn’t anymore. Actually it’s annoying,” Owens added. “Beyoncé, listen to me girlfriend because I know you’re watching. You don’t gotta text from your mommy’s burner account on Instagram.”

Candace Owens Goes After Beyonce

Beyonce endorsed Kamala Harris during a rally in Houston, last month, alongside her Destiny’s Child collaborator, Kelly Rowland. The two were among numerous celebrities to back to Vice President, including LizzoCardi BUsher, and more. She ended up losing to Donald Trump in a blowout on November 5th. Candace Owens Calls Out Beyoncé and Ms. Tina Knowles Over Alleged Endorsement Controversy

Conservative commentator Candace Owens found herself at odds with Beyoncé and her mother, Ms. Tina Knowles, following Owens’ claim last week questioning whether Kamala Harris’ campaign paid for Beyoncé’s endorsement. The controversy escalated after Meta removed Owens’ post, prompting Ms. Knowles to address the claims directly on Instagram.

Owens wasted no time firing back in the comments, accusing Beyoncé of deflecting criticism. “Beyoncé needs to stop posting from her burner account,” Owens wrote. She defended her original post, noting it used the term “allegedly” and cited multiple publications that sought confirmation from both Beyoncé’s team and the Harris campaign but received no response.

Owens also called out Beyoncé’s decision to remain silent, contrasting it with Cardi B’s approach when facing questions in the past. “People share untrue reports on me all the time—do I call Mark Zuckerberg?” Owens remarked, criticizing the apparent involvement of Meta in removing her commentary. She ended her rebuttal with a pointed critique: “Sending your literal mama to defend you as opposed to just responding to journalists asking questions… is childish af.”

The dispute has since sparked intense reactions across social media, with fans and critics weighing in on the exchange. While Beyoncé has yet to respond directly, the exchange underscores the heightened tension between public figures navigating political and cultural debates.

Candace Owens Questions Beyonce’s Authenticity In Scathing Takedown

Candace Owens and Beyonce are on polar opposite sides of the political aisle. Owens is a Republican, and Beyonce has repeatedly endorsed Democratic nominees throughout her career. Her endorsement of Kamala Harris, however, has Owens particularly irritated. The political commentator took to her self-titled show to blast Beyonce for her Harris endorsement. She also threw shots at the singer’s husband, JAY-Z, and her mother, Tina Knowles. It was not a pretty sight.

There’s some context worth providing before we get to the insults. Candace Owens previously implied that Beyonce was paid to attend Kamala Harris’ campaign rally. The singer attended a rally in her native Houston and endorsed Harris in an impassioned speech. Owens’ comments were met with denial from Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles, who wrote “fake news” under Owens’ video. Instead of putting an end to the exchange, however, Knowles’ comments opened the floodgates. Candace Owens went off on the Queen Bey during her November 18 show. She dubbed the singer “annoying” and claimed that Beyonce does not hold the cultural weight she did a decade ago.

Candace Owens Mocked Bey’s Waning Relevance

“Telling us who to vote for is annoying,” Candace Owens asserted. “You don’t gotta text from your mommy’s burner account on Instagram.” The commentator proceeded to drag JAY-Z into her rant, and implied that the Brooklyn rapper might have ties to Diddy. “If you wanna start with being authentic,” she said. “Maybe give us some answers about Diddy’s parties. Your husband’s been close with him.” This is not the first time a Republican commentator has attacked Beyonce on the basis of her political ties. She was mocked for the sales of her last album, shortly after appearing at the aforementioned Harris rally.

“Beyonce doesn’t need to be doing that,” Xaviaer Durousseau told a FOX News analyst. “[She] needs to focus on keeping her album on the charts because it’s already gone.” The alleged ties to Diddy have also surfaced multiple times. Jaguar Wright tried to link Beyonce and JAY-Z to the disgraced mogul during an interview with Piers Morgan. The couple’s lawyer sent a cease and desist to Morgan, and the host subsequently edited the interview. He later apologized to Beyonce and JAY-Z on the air.

Tina Knowles Fires Back At Candace Owens For Spreading False Beyonce Rumor

Tina Knowles fired back at Candace Owens after the far-right political commentator accused her daughter, Beyonce, of taking $10 million in exchange for her endorsement of Kamala Harris in the 2024 Presidential Election. Owens made the accusation in a video on Instagram, which has since received a “False Information” warning from third-party fact-checkers.

Knowles wrote: “So this has been flagged on Instagram as fake news and taken down. It’s called False Information. Sadly, other platforms with a lack of integrity still have it up. The lie is that Beyoncé was paid 10 million dollars to speak at a rally in Houston for Vice President Kamala Harris. When in fact, Beyoncé did not receive a penny for speaking at a Presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris’s rally in Houston,” Knowles wrote.

“In fact she actually paid for her own flights for her and her team, and total Glam,” Knowles continued. “They are not only lying and disrespecting Beyonce’s name but they are trying to further discredit the power of our vice president! When does the lies and rumors stop? Of course you won’t see this in the news !!!!!” Fans were loving the clap-back in the comments section of Knowles’ post. “I love how Ms Tina isn’t letting the media play with her daughters name,” one user wrote. Another remarked: “DRAG HER.”

Cardi B ‘Came Out Of Pocket’ For Her Kamala Harris Rally Appearance: ‘I Didn’t Get Paid A Dollar’

Self-declared history and politics buff Cardi B went back on her vow to stay uninvolved in this year’s election, endorsing Kamala Harris after Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race. Although her preferred candidate didn’t win (and the future of the country looks undoubtedly bleak as a result), Cardi hasn’t backed down from online criticism of her endorsement, shutting down right wing grifter Candace Owens, who insinuated that her only reason for making the campaign rally appearance was getting paid by the Harris-Walz campaign.

“I didn’t get paid a dollar and that’s on my three!!” she shot back via Twitter (never calling it “X,” which is a dumb, horrid name). “I actually came out of pocket for glam and travel because it’s somewhere I wanted to be. Like please girl you know damn well I’ll argue you down about politics FOR FREE.”

It isn’t the first time Cardi has clapped back at Owens. In May, she shot down Owens’ disingenuous call to ban porn — although, she later realized that the engagement was only serving the wannabe commentator’s ends and deleted her responses. She’d likely be better served using that time to work on that long-awaited second album, which even she acknowledges has taken forever to finish.

Cardi B Claims Kamala Harris Didn’t Pay Her For Endorsement While Shading Candace Owens

Cardi B was one of many superstars who endorsed Democrat Kamala Harris in her bid for president of the United States. While she wasn’t successful, losing to convicted Republican candidate Donald Trump last week, celebrities still stand by the candidate and defend their stance against those who doubt their earnestness. For example, conservative commentator Candace Owens recently asked the Bronx femcee via Twitter whether or not the Harris campaign paid her to speak at a rally shortly before election day. She had a fiery statement for Owens in response, making it clear that she doesn’t need a big bag in order to talk politics and advocate for the important issues she finds most relevant.

“I didn’t get paid a dollar and that’s on my three!!” Cardi B responded to Candace Owens on the social media platform. “I actually came out of pocket for glam and travel because it’s somewhere I wanted to be.. Like please girl you know damn well I’ll argue you down about politics FOR FREE.” Of course, this isn’t the first clash between these two women in the political space, and we’re sure it won’t be the last.

Cardi B Responds To Candace Owens

Elsewhere, though, Cardi B dealt with plenty of other social media narratives recently, including fans’ incessant demands for her long-awaited sophomore album. It seems like her recent Grammy nomination plus some other career developments inspired her to put her foot on the gas a little more. With new teases, hints, song snippets, and vague announcements, it seems like we’re in the “Maybe it’s happening!” phase of this cyclical rollout. Hopefully someone breaks the wheel and drops the project already, although we’re sure that a few other big things would have to line up to pave the way for it.

Sadly, some of these narratives – whether Cardi B’s strong political stances fueled them or not – hit too close to home for her. Fans (or haters, rather) posted Photoshopped images of her daughter with Offset, who recently joined the family as their third child. The couple isn’t exactly on good terms right now, but they presented a united front against this personal attack. Hopefully politics don’t result in more oversteps like these and social media users know their place.

Candace Owens Reacts To Sexyy Red Voting For Kamala Harris

Earlier this week, Sexyy Red took to social media to announce that she cast her vote for Kamala Harris. “I just voted!!! Don’t tell us what to do with our coochies!! #Kamala4President,” she captioned a series of photos on X yesterday. The post took some fans by surprise, as she previously showed her support for Harris’ opponent, Donald Trump.

“I like Trump,” she said on This Past Weekend with Theo Von in 2023. “Yeah, they support him in the hood. At first I don’t think people was f*cking with him. They thought he was racist, saying little sh*t against women. But once he started getting Black people out of jail and giving people that free money. Aww baby, we love Trump. We need him back in office. We need him back because, baby, them checks. Them stimulus checks. Trump, we miss you.”

Candace Owens Mocks Sexyy Red After She Votes For Kamala Harris

Unsurprisingly, Sexyy’s Tweet sparked mixed reactions. While some were glad to see that the “SkeeYee” rapper had a change of heart, others were less than impressed. Recently, for example, Candace Owens shared her take on Sexyy Red’s endorsement during an episode of her show Candace. She reacted by mocking her, and sarcastically claiming there’s no way Donald Trump can win the election now. This isn’t the first time she’s gone after a rapper, or even the first time she’s gone after Sexyy Red, so her remarks don’t necessarily come as a shock.

As for Harris, she’s received several celebrity endorsements in recent weeks. Yesterday, for example, Cardi B spoke at her rally in Milwaukee. GloRilla, Flo Milli, MC Lyte, and more also performed. What do you think of Sexyy Red endorsing Kamala Harris? What about Candace Owens mocking her for it? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Eminem to Introduce President Obama at Harris Rally in Detroit

music to be murdered by 2

Kamala Harris and Barack Obama will hit the campaign trail this week. Tonight, Obama will be introduced by Eminem in Detroit.

According to CNN, Eminem will not perform. Instead, he will welcome Obama to Detroit at the rally for Harris. Eminem will briefly speak before introducing the 44th President of the United States.

Earlier this summer, on Eminem’s new album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), he had words for MAGA member Candace Owens.

On the track “Lucifer,” Eminem raps:

And Candace O, I ain’t mad at her
I ain’t gon’ throw the fact bitch forgot she was black back at her
Laugh at her, like them crackers she’s backin’ after
Her back is turnin’, a cute MAGA hat with her brand new “White Lives Matter” shirt
Or save this MAGA dirt bag in a skirt, just opened the biggest worms on the planet Earth
Call her “Grand wizard”, clan [?] grand dragon
Like the national anthem, I won’t stand for the chant (Why?)
But I can’t diss her ’cause my plans are to get in her pants and I’ll blow my chance if I answer back to her

In 2018, Eminem released a surprise album, Kamikaze, months after his 9th studio album, Revival. “Tried not 2 overthink this 1 … enjoy,” he wrote on Twitter announcing the release.

On the first track, “The Ringer,” the Detroit rapper revealed that Donald Trump did respond to his diss on the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards cypher: “sent the Secret Service to meet in person / To see if I really think of hurtin’ him / Or ask if I’m linked to terrorists.” He also says of Trump: “I empathize with the people this evil serpent sold the dream to that he’s deserted.”

You can hear the freestyle below.

Kanye West’s Offensive Interview Gets Candace Owens’ YouTube Channel Suspended

Last month, Candace Owens dropped her full-length interview with Kanye West, which has resulted in her YouTube channel taking some serious hits. Earlier this week, the conservative commentator took to X to announce that she wouldn’t be posting on YouTube for now. According to her, she’s been demonetized and suspended from the platform. This is due to her interview with Ye, and particilarly his antisemitic remarks.

“They also removed the interview as ‘hate speech,’ as it was mass reported by Zionists. Their tactics never change,” she wrote. Owens then went on to suggest that she was targeted. She also theorized that her Ye interview was under scrutiny due to her recent debate with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach on Piers Morgan’s show.

Candace Owens’ YouTube Channel Takes Hit For Violating Hate Speech Policy

“The world knows why I am being targeted and frankly, I have never felt more confident that I am the right person for this to happen,” she claimed. “Thus far, I have had zero strikes on my @YouTubeCreators account… I have now been inundated with 3 back to back content hits within minutes, plus an email that I am now fully demonetized. We all know exactly who is behind this and why.” YouTube later went on to confirm Owens’ channel suspension in a statement to The New York Post.

“We’ve suspended channels associated with Candace Owens from the YouTube Partner Program following repeated violations of our policies, including our Advertiser-Friendly Guidelines and Community Guidelines,” spokesperson Jack Malon explained. Malon added that Owens frequently violates YouTube’s policies on her channels and that she can reapply for access in 90 days. What do you think of Candace Owens’ YouTube channel getting suspended over her interview with Kanye West? What about him violating the platform’s hate speech policy? Are you surprised by this or not?
