YG & Saweetie: Relationship Timeline

For several months, the relationship between Saweetie and YG has attracted public interest, notably exciting fans of the couple. Both prominent figures in the Hip Hop and staples on the West Coast, the pair captivated the hearts of many while they were together. However, recent development seems to prove that their romantic journey together may have come to an end. While fans were rooting for the couple, their relationship unfortunately lasted less than a year. Nevertheless, they seem to be ending things on a good note, so a win is a win. From its inception to its eventual end, here’s a timeline of YG and Saweetie’s relationship.

March 2023: Whispers Of A Romance Between The Two

After being spotted together at an event in California on March 5, 2023, speculations started flying about the two being in a relationship. Subsequently, Saweetie’s appearance at YG’s all-red birthday party on March 8 slightly intensified the rumors. Many celebrities were in attendance, and the pair didn’t show any public displays of affection. As such, the rumors were largely unfounded. However, some fans insisted that the two were romantically involved. While it remains unclear if the two were already together in March, the speculating fans were soon proved right.

April 2023: More Public Appearances Fueling Dating Rumors

Following the first weekend of Coachella 2023, the Jasmine Brand reported that Saweetie and YG were seen getting cozy at the festival. If the dating rumors had been dying out, this news certainly brought them back to life. Subsequently, on April 18, the two were spotted again at Lala’s Wafflehouse in Indio, California. While Saweetie tried to mask her identity, fans always managed to recognize their fave. Altogether, their repeated sightings as a pair started making the rumors seem credible, and more people started believing them.

May 2023: Relationship Confirmation, And A Mexican Baecation

By May 2023, the rumors had been going strong for about two months, and neither rapper confirmed nor denied them. However, towards the end of the month, the pair made a statement with their actions rather than words. Before May, they had never been caught being too affectionate, but that changed on May 30 when certain pictures surfaced. The photos shared revealed that the couple were on vacation in Cabo, Mexico. These photos also showed that they were finally being public with their displays of affection.

July – September 2023: The Couple’s First Public Date And Joint Tour Announcement

YG and Saweetie made their public debut as a couple in early July 2023. While the two stepped out to have dinner at Craig’s in WeHo, the paparazzi caught them. However, they didn’t mind at all, and walked hand-in-hand, as the footage shows. Soon after, they announced their upcoming Str8 to the Klub Tour with Tyga. It was set to kick off in September 2023, and finish in Las Vegas on November 21, 2023.

September – December 2023: YG And Saweetie Seemingly On The Rocks

Following their tour announcement in July, fans of the rap couple were excited to see their faves perform. However, in an unexpected turn of events, fans found out later in September that the tour had been canceled. In addition, it was soon discovered that the pair were no longer following each other on Instagram. As expected, this set fans into a speculating spree once again, with many suggesting that they had broken up. However, on December 28, they were spotted together at the Beverly Hills Hotel. This sighting eased the breakup rumors, but only slightly.

On January 15, 2024, it was reported that YG and Saweetie had called it quits on their relationship. Moreover, YG was also spotted on his ex Kehlani’s comment section on Instagram. After his and Saweetie’s last sighting in December, this news came out of left field. However, it did not completely take fans by surprise as many had suspected that their romance was on shaky ground. Sources have told The Shade Room that the two decided to focus on their careers, and split amicably. However, YG seemingly shut down the rumors afterward when he shared two clips of himself and Saweetie getting cozy at a Beyonce concert.

YG & Saweetie Call It Quits After 7 Months Of Dating: Report

YG and Saweetie were one of hip-hop’s most low-key but beloved couples in recent memory, but it seems like they went their separate ways. Moreover, according to new reports from TMZ, representatives from both rappers spoke to The Shade Room about how they mutually decided to end their seven-month-ish relationship, as they think they would be better off as friends. Also, these reports suggest that neither is very interested in seeking another partner right now, and that they want to focus on their careers first and foremost. It’s a sad thing to hear about, but at least this all seems amicable and respectful, which is more than we can ask for in these wild times.

Furthermore, the West Coast MCs confirmed their romance around in May of 2023 following a month or so of rumors. Not only that, but this wasn’t really a surprise: YG and Saweetie have collaborated often– most recently on the former’s “BIRTHDAY” single– and they toured together with Tyga. As such, it was great to see these two work well together within and outside of their careers and personal lives. After all, they were pretty low-key about everything, which again, is more than we can ask for from most couples with a strong bond before their romantic union.

Meanwhile, the last we heard from them in the pop culture and gossip mill was their October performance at the University of Southern California. Since then, things cooled down significantly at least on our end, leading folks to speculate on just how long ago they split. It’s possible that their teams are just now allegedly relaying this to The Shade Room after days, weeks, or months of a relationship status update between YG and Saweetie. Perhaps we’ll just have to wait and see whether either Cali native speaks out about what they had, and what they might continue to manifest beyond a cuff.

When it comes to their careers, both artists actually have some songs to promote or tease these days. For the Icy Girl, that would be her previewed track “Richtivities,” whereas the Still Brazy spitter just dropped “Stand Up” with Stunna Girl. Benny The Butcher Clarifies Griselda’s Relationship Amid Breakup Rumors: “We’re Family”

Benny the Butcher addressed rumors about Griselda breaking up during an appearance on The Breakfast Club, Friday. In doing so, he reflected on the rifts in their relationships over the years, but reaffirmed that they’re “family.”

“We got so successful that where the support was coming from, people backed up, because we was about to take over all this sh*t,” he explained, adding that they had to settle down and regroup. From there, he praised Conway The Machine in particular. “Conway, he’s always been the top spitter to me,” Benny said. “He still is. You’d be hard-pressed to name five n****s who can get in the ring with him.”

Benny also discussed the release of his latest album, Everybody Can’t Go. “[Everybody Can’t Go] is my first major-label album. You know what I’m saying? Nia Long Lands $32,500 Per Month From Ime Udoka In Child Support Agreement: Report

Nia Long will be getting over $32,000 in monthly child support from her ex-partner, Ime Udoka, according to a new report from The Blast. Additionally, court documents confirm the two will share joint custody of their 12-year-old son. Long’s attorney, Samantha Spector, negotiated the deal.

It cites Udoka’s monthly disposable income as $465,804, and notes that their son spends 95% of the time with Long. While this would indicate $56,389 as the expected amount, the two sides mutually agreed on the $32,000 figure.

Long called off her engagement to Udoka after the former Boston Celtics head coach had an alleged affair with a female staffer within the team’s organization. They suspended Udoko for the 2022–2023 season shortly after and he’s since moved on to the Houston Rockets. “I want to apologize to our players, fans, the entire Celtics organization, and my family for letting them down,” Udoka said in a statement at the time. “I am sorry for putting the team in this difficult situation, and I accept the team’s decision.”

Long recently spoke about the split during an interview with Jeezy, admitting that their relationship was “rocky for a very long time.” “I had a really public breakup recently,” she told the rapper. “It was a wakeup call for me in the sense of like, ‘OK, you’re going to do this on your own and you’re going to be fine and you’re not going to worry about what anyone thinks and has to say.’ The relationship was rocky for a very long time. 6ix9ine Deactivates His Instagram Account Amid Public Breakup

6ix9ine remains one of the most villainous characters in the hip-hop world. Overall, his run began back in 2017 thanks to the song Gummo. Although he took the beat from Pi’erre Bourne without any permission, he was still able to get a viral hit. From there, he continued to drop banger after banger, with each song hitting the Billboard charts. Once September 2018 came around, he seemed unstoppable. Unfortunately for him, RICO charges ultimately became the start of his demise.

Subsequently, the rapper snitched on everyone involved and eventually went to prison for a fairly short amount of time. Since then, he has been back home making music. He has made a pivot to Spanish music, and unsurprisingly, he still gets in quite a bit of trouble from time to time. For instance, he was arrested in the Dominican Republic for assault. Furthermore, he recently broke up with his girlfriend after what he describes as an abusive relationship. Now, his social media is gone.

That’s right folks, 6ix9ine has officially deleted his Instagram account. Overall, this is a bit of a surprising development. For years, he has used social media as a means to advance his career. However, he is now taking a step back. He did this without much of a warning, but it seems like this has to do with his recent breakup. After all, it would make sense. Sometimes, when you are left heartbroken, you do silly things to get your mind right. No matter what, it is pretty obvious that he will be back sooner rather than later.

6ix9ine has never showed very much restraint before, so why would he start now? It just doesn’t really make sense for him to do so. That said, his fans are now waiting patiently for a return. However, he remains in the country after bringing a squad of goons to attack local producers spending time with his (now ex) girlfriend on the island. From what he’s saying about Yailin La Mas Viral, it sounds like the 21-year-old struggles with serious insecurity issues. Earlier this week, 6ix9ine’s Instagram Story lit up with a video revealing that they’re going their separate ways after she seemingly accused him of sleeping with her friend.

The clip below shows an argument ensuing in Spanish, with the embattled entertainer typing out his side. “This was all the time, accusing me of looking at women to making me jealous of [her] own friends,” the message reads after translating it to English. “It’s a mental health problem,” 6ix9ine alleged, before urging his followers to avoid lashing out at Viral. “Get her help,” he urged those still in the young woman’s life.

6ix9ine is no stranger to rocky relationships, though this one with the “Narcisista” hitmaker has been particularly damaging to his reputation. He has a history of spinning the block in the past. Cardi B & Offset Hit Up New York City To Spend Time Together After Breakup

Cardi B and Offset apparently hit up New York City together recently, at least based on some fan pics that social media sleuths tied together. Moreover, a fan took a photo with each of them at an undisclosed store on Thursday (December 28) and posted them both, and they appeared separately, of course. It seems like, amid their breakup, they still don’t want to appear together in such a public way… or this was just a wild coincidence and both rappers were in the Big Apple on their own paths. In addition, fans also confirmed via other pictures and their fits in them that this all apparently happened the same day.

Furthermore, this comes just a couple of days after Cardi B seemed to suggest that she and Offset aren’t getting back together anytime soon. Many fans expressed wishes for this to happen online, but she liked a tweet suggesting that they’re getting their hopes up. Regardless, it’s at least heartening to see that they apparently can still hang out together and will likely maintain a pretty amicable relationship. It’s unlikely that they’ll be able to address this via their music anytime soon, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Bardi’s next album cycle references this in some way.

What’s more is that this isn’t the first time that the “JEALOUSY” duo seemingly reunited after their split. While this instance is still pretty unconfirmed, it was quite wholesome to see the family get together for Christmas. Offset and Cardi B have a lot to take care of and nurture, much of which they’ve built together, so it’s important for them to still support each other if possible. They don’t need to be super chummy, but they have done too much to lose all the spark they had.

Meanwhile, they still have to deal with a lot of other things together that aren’t as fulfilling. For example, the couple received a lawsuit over allegedly unpaid rent and property damage. As such, they will likely continue to stick around each other in the near future, and hopefully a new and healthy bond can emerge from the ashes of another. Cardi B Appears To Shoot Down Offset Reconciliation Rumors

Cardi B liked a post on social media denying she and her estranged husband, Offset, have reconciled. The move comes after Thee Pop Feed reported that the two were back together after attending a Travis Scott concert. “Cardi B has officially took Offset back after 12 days,” the report on social media reads. “They were both spotted at Travis Scott’s concert tonight in New Jersey.”

In response, blogger Ken Barbie posted a clip of Kandi Burress exclaiming “You just made that up!” from Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta. Cardi B liked the reply, seemingly confirming the lack of a reconciliation.

Cardi B In Good Spirits At Charity Event After Offset Split

Lately, Cardi B has been wrapped up in quite a bit of drama involving her and Offset’s breakup. The split has led to plenty of speculation, with cheating rumors running rampant in recent days. The “Bodak Yellow” performer has taken the time to give back amid the debacle, however, attending a charity event earlier this week.

The event, hosted by the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, took place on Tuesday (December 19) in New York. The foundation aims to provide economically disadvantaged children with presents around the holidays. Cardi appeared to be in good spirits at the event, smiling and posing with fans for a good cause. Clearly, Cardi wasn’t about the let the drama stop her from attending, and supporters are glad to see her out and about wearing a smile.
