Mike Tyson Is Shredded In New Photo Ahead Of Jake Paul Fight

On Thursday afternoon (Nov. 14), TMZ shared a photo of Mike Tyson in amazing shape as he weighed in for his anticipated fight against Jake Paul on Friday (Nov. 15). The 58-year-old icon is defying age and expectations with a shredded frame to match his well-known punching power. The Baddest Man on the Planet stood alongside his 27-year-old opponent, Jake Paul, emphasizing that age hasn’t dulled his edge or commitment to the sport. While the fighters have already weighed in, the official weigh-in is scheduled for 5 P.M. central at the Toyota Music Factory in Dallas, Texas.

The upcoming fight marks Iron Mike’s return to the ring after four years. Although Tyson last fought in 2020 against Roy Jones Jr., that event was only an exhibition. This time, he’s stepping in for a true professional bout against a much younger opponent. In stark contrast to his usual exhibition matches, Tyson seems particularly invested, hinting to fans that this showdown might be, as he put it, “the biggest in the history of life.”

Tyson Is In His “Ultra Form” For Jake Paul Fight

Iron Mike’s health has been questioned the entire campaign. He is a -200 underdog in the upcoming fight. Critics believe that Tyson will fatigue by Round 3. Paul’s overhand right has knocked out most of his opponents. In several interviews, Tyson doesn’t recognize as a “real fighter.” At Wednesday’s press conference, Paul promised the fight would end in a knockout. Tyson refutes the claim by promising to knock out Paul and continue his boxing career.

Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul makes history as Netflix’s first live event. The heavyweight fight occurs on Friday evening at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. The undercard includes the rematch between super lightweight champion Katie Taylor and featherweight champion Amanda Serrano. The rematch is for the undisputed title. With a Netflix subscription, boxing fans can watch the event for free.

KSI Challenges Jake Paul To A Fight After His New Song Gets Roasted

No, KSI and Jake Paul have not boxed each other before. You’d be forgiven for making that mistake, though. KSI boxed Jake’s older brother, Logan, in a highly-publicized 2018 match. Jake Paul was on the undercard, and he actually fought KSI’s younger brother, Deji. KSI vs Jake Paul is a concept that’s been floated for several years, however, with both sides voicing a desire to make it happen. It just never has. Both men have been busy with their own careers. Jake Paul is gearing up to fight Mike Tyson, so we get why KSI is not high on his priority list. Well, at least he wasn’t.

When KSI isn’t streaming or boxing, he’s recording music. He just dropped a new song with Trippie Redd titled “Thick of It,” and despite the famous feature, it has not performed well. The internet has lit up KSI’s latest offering. It’s easy to see why. “Thick of It” lacks any real song structure, and consensus is that KSI raps about as convincingly as Ed Sheeran (not a compliment). Jake Paul couldn’t resist getting in on the roast session. He tweeted a bait-and-switch punchline that his social media peer didn’t like. “Thank you KSI my hero,” Paul’s tweet read. “My 83 year old grandpa hasn’t been able to walk in years. But when you released this song… He finally stood up and turned this sh*t off.”

KSI Didn’t Take Kindly To Jake Paul’s Trolling

Not the most original insult, but an effective one. KSI did not waste any time firing back at Jake Paul and issuing a challenge to him. “Looks like you’ve got your next opponent lined up then,” he tweeted back in response. KSI vs Jake Paul is something that fans have mostly given up on. It’s been teased for so long that there’s actually a Wikipedia article dedicated to their “proposed” bout. Both men know that it would net them massive paydays, though, so perhaps the wheels are already in motion.

It’s worth noting that KSI discussed the idea of fighting Jake Paul recently. He appeared on the Logan Paul podcast Impaulsive, and made it clear he still wants to throw hands. The younger Paul has focused on fighting the aforementioned Tyson, but Logan proposed a solution. He told KSI that both men should attend his wedding and settle it once and for all at the ceremony. “I’ll invite you, I’ll invite Jake and we’ll just settle it bro, I’ll be okay with that.” We’ll see if the fight actually comes to fruition soon!

Ryan Garcia Responds To Devin Haney’s Battery & Fraud Lawsuit

Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney have a pretty explosive and scandalous rivalry, and their fight earlier this year in April continues to haunt them. Garcia won that bout, but officials later ruled it a no-contest due to his ingestion of the performance-enhancing drug ostarine. This week, Haney filed suit in New York, accusing his opponent of battery and fraud both before and during their match-up. He pursues unspecified damages and maintains that “his contest should have adhered to fair rules.” “While Devin Haney agreed to participate in a prize fight against Garcia, at no time did he agree to engage in a bout against an individual who had taken a performance-enhancing drug,” the lawsuit reportedly reads.

Now, Ryan Garcia has responded to Devin Haney’s lawsuit via an Instagram post. “I’m being sued for doing my job,” he wrote. “This fight has been a Netflix documentary but this right here is the finale. Your honor he simply struggles with left hook syndrome.” As for the fraud element of this debacle, Haney claims that Garcia “tried to make weight and failed” when it came to his pursuit of Haney’s WBC junior welterweight title.

Ryan Garcia’s Response To Devin Haney’s Lawsuit

In addition to Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney’s lawsuit also accuses Golden Boy Promotions of breach of contract concerning these circumstances. Haney claims the situation provoked “physical injury, reputational harm worth millions, and emotional and mental distress.” Previously, he had reacted to Garcia’s suspension from boxing. “I want to thank the commission and the fans who stood by me during this whole process,” Haney told ESPN. “The facts are the facts, and I wasn’t on an even playing field. Happy I was able to receive justice for what happened. It’s all part of my story and it’s only going to make me better. I look to enjoy this time with my family and friends and see what’s next.

“I’m a clean athlete and boxing is a brutal sport where one fight can literally change your life,” Devin Haney added concerning the Ryan Garcia situation. “I think it’s important for fighters to be clean, and I want to become an advocate for clean athletes for my experience in this situation.”

Devin Haney Sues Ryan Garcia For Alleged Fraud & Battery Over April Fight

These two boxers have made their disdain for each other crystal clear. The latest update in the Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia rivalry is the former’s new lawsuit against the latter for alleged battery and fraud on the journey to – and during – their April match at Barclays Center, per TMZ Sports. Haney allegedly filed the suit in New York on Friday (September 27). For those unaware, Garcia initially won that bout after multiple knockdowns, but officials called it a no-contest after they found evidence that Garcia used performance-enhancing drugs for it. Therefore, Haney says that he would not have agreed to the fight if he knew of these enhancements, and thus feels defrauded.

In addition, Devin Haney posited that Ryan Garcia’s ingestion of the drug despite his agreement to fight clean led to Garcia making various misrepresentations. The nature of these is unclear, although Haney said that they would’ve caused him to call the fight quits. But Garcia isn’t the only defendant in this situation. Haney also sued Golden Boy Promotions for alleged breach of contract. Haney seeks unspecified damages for how the situation inflicted “physical injury, reputational damage which will amount to millions of dollars, and emotional and mental distress.”

As of writing this article, it seems like neither Ryan Garcia nor Devin Haney have publicly addressed this lawsuit or the claims within. Elsewhere, though, they have plenty of other matters to jab each other over. For example, Garcia recently called the Diddy scandal a “very serious matter” despite how he trolled Haney for his alleged connection to the Bad Boy executive. As far as a response from Haney, this new lawsuit certainly answered that question.

However, there’s a chance that Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney could settle this the old-fashioned way: with another clean, sanctioned, exciting boxing match. The latter’s promoter wants to make it happen, or at least, that was the plan prior to Garcia’s expulsion from the World Boxing Council for a recent racist rant. As such, the future is uncertain when it comes to a potential round two. We’ll see what the next clash looks like…

Terence Crawford Reacts To The UFC’s Kendrick Lamar Mix-Up

The UFC has to answer some odd questions about their broadcast, as they made a major mix-up during a recent match. Moreover, the television stream identified boxer Terence Crawford in the stands as Kendrick Lamar, which understandably resulted in some backlash and racism accusations. What’s more is that it’s possible that this was actually intentional, albeit miscommunicated and confusingly presented. K.Dot actually references Crawford on “euphoria,” which is why many folks online saw this as more of a joke. We might never know for sure, and you will have your opinion on whether it’s insensitive even with this possible intent in mind.

However, it seems like Terence Crawford couldn’t help but laugh at this situation, so it seems like there are no hard feelings. “Damn @kendricklamar [two crying-laughing emojis],” he wrote on his Instagram Story this weekend along with a screenshot of UFC’s mix-up. It played Kendrick Lamar’s “euphoria” verse shouting Terence out in the background. Maybe Crawford and the “Watch The Party Die” MC have a more strong criticism of this practice. But for now, the former is just reacting to the antics and having fun with them.

Terence Crawford Laughs Off The UFC’s Kendrick Lamar Mix-Up

As far as other Kendrick Lamar news, Usher recently gave him advice for his Super Bowl halftime show. “Everybody has this fifteen minutes of fame idea, but it’s really your fifteen minutes of fame,” the singer remarked on Live with Kelly and Mark. “You have to play hits. You’ve got to get right to it.” “I want no part of that. I’m sorry,” he joked about the possibility of mediating the Drake beef. “Let’s just say, it’s been a great experience to say that I could play the Super Bowl. I understand how much pressure comes with it and I wouldn’t wish it on anybody. But I would wish it on you if you’ve had the career.”

50 Cent agrees, as he called Kendrick Lamar’s battle “good for the culture.” “Both Drake and Kendrick produced quality music faster because they had to compete with each other,” he shared on The Talk. “That competitive nature made them go work and have responses. Hip-hop is still – it’s not just a genre where you can just make a song and sit back. You have to make a song and be ready to make a song again right away with other artists.”

50 Cent Explains How His Photo Shoot With $3.5 Million In Cash Is A Muhammad Ali Tribute

50 Cent has never shied away from flaunting and celebrating his wealth. After all, how could he have a “CEO war” with Dame Dash if they weren’t both so obsessed with their cash? Moreover, the G-Unit mogul raised some eyebrows and impressed more than a few business goons with his latest cover story for The Hollywood Reporter, for which he took $3.5 million in cash and sat on these stacks in the photoshoot. Stephen Colbert asked him about this on The Late Show this week, jokingly wondering why he didn’t use Photoshop to achieve the same effect and inquiring as to his inspirations.

“Stephen, I was trying to mirror a photo that I had seen that Muhammad Ali took,” 50 Cent revealed. Then, Colbert took out the image of the legendary boxer in question, which is a 1964 Sports Illustrated cover in which he sits on a million dollars. Fif used $3.5 million instead either to make a cheeky reference to inflation or to just flex that much harder. “I like how you act like you don’t have a lot of money, Stephen,” he comically responded when the host proposed just using Photoshop. “You’re on Season 10, bro! He’s posturing himself in this way so he doesn’t have to give his relatives money.”

50 Cent On The Late Show With Stephen Colbert

The photoshoot conversation begins at around the 1:17-minute mark.

“When you watch a movie and it’s, like, a bank robbery, that’s not real,” 50 Cent answered when asked about the literal weight of the $3.5 million dollars. “When they put the money in the bag and then you see them run out? They’re not running. It’s about 77 pounds. So you walk it out. No machine gun, none of that. You just go walk out and if they didn’t get me, I made it. I just wanted to make the picture good.” It’s not as big of a payout as, say, a potential Vegas residency, but it’s still a lot.

Jokes aside, this Late Show interview holds some other gems. There are conversations around 50 Cent’s celibacy, his celebrity status, his commitment to his endeavors, and a whole lot more. We can only wonder as to what his next magazine cover story will look like. Is $7 million the next move or is Photoshop one of Colbert’s better ideas?

Rick Ross says that his next business move is to set up a fight between legendary boxers Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield. He shared the goal while speaking with his followers on social media in a video he filmed of himself in his front yard. Tyson is currently gearing up for a bout with Jake Paul in November, but afterward, Ross wants to organize the rematch.

“Once Tyson knocks out Jake Paul, I’ma get Tyson and Holyfield to fight in my front yard,” Ross said. “I’m going to put a ring right there. I want the judges to be Snoop Dogg, Kevin Hart [and] DJ Akademiks. The ring is gonna be right there at the Promise Land. Thrilla in Manila’—the biggest.”

Holyfield and Tyson fought twice during their careers, with the second match featuring the infamous biting incident. In the years after their rivalry, they became much more close. The two even sat down together with Oprah in 2008 to make amends. “This is a beautiful guy,” Tyson said of Holyfield at the time. “Me and this guy both come from basically the sewage, and we watched each other grow to become established and esteemed fighters, you know what I mean? And I just want you to know it’s been a pleasure passing through life being acquainted with you.” In more recent years, the two teamed up to launch a line of cannabis edibles.

Floyd Mayweather Fires Ref In The Middle Of His Pointless & Underwhelming John Gotti III Rematch

Floyd Mayweather has been engaging in some truly ridiculous exhibition matches as of late. Overall, these matches do not have an official winner and most of the time, they are simply a money grab. That was certainly the case over the weekend as Mayweather had a rematch against John Gotti III. If you remember, the last time these two fought, Gotti tried to fight Mayweather in between rounds and was subsequently expelled from the match.

In this latest fight, it was a referee who was actually removed from the proceedings. As you can see in the clip down below, Mayweather was given a penalty by the match’s original ref. However, Mayweather got angry and began to yell at the official. Eventually, he fired the ref and told him to get lost. From there, a new ref came into the fold and the match continued. It was all very bizarre, but that is par for the course when it comes to these exhibitions where the stakes are simply too low.

Oscar De La Hoya Reveals That Jay-Z Lost A Risky Six-Figure Bet To Him

Jay-Z is a big sports fan, as evidenced these days by his infamous connection to the NFL and his role in their Super Bowl halftime shows. But the connection stretches much further back, and it’s not completely dominated by wins for the East Coast legend. Moreover, Oscar De La Hoya recently told Shannon Sharpe on his Club Shay Shay program that Hov lost a six-figure bet to him almost a decade ago, and paid it honorably. The boxing legend was promoting Canelo Alvarez in his November 2015 fight against Miguel Cotto, who benefitted from the Roc Nation boss’ financial backing… But not in the match.

“So we’re promoting Canelo at the time, Golden Boy, and [Jay-Z’s] promoting Cotto,” Oscar De La Hoya recalled. “So I said, ‘You know what? Why don’t place a bet here of $250,000? But it goes to charity.’ So Canelo wins, my charity wins the two-fifths, and sure enough he paid it on the spot. I think the next day, the check was in the bank. Jay-Z loves boxing, he knows his boxing. But he’s a guy who pays his bets.”

Oscar De La Hoya Recalls Him & Jay-Z’s 2015 Bet

However, there’s a bit of a conflicting report on the nature of this bet, as TMZ alleged back in 2015 that Jay-Z actually lost a $100,000 bet, not one for a quarter of a million. “Thanks to Jay-Z, thousands of patients at White Memorial Medical Center will also be winners,” Oscar De La Hoya remarked at the time. “I don’t imagine [he’s] excited about losing $100,000, but he can take some comfort in knowing that it’s going to a good cause.” As far as his recent exploits in the boxing world, Oscar is looking forward to a healthy Mike Tyson performance against Jake Paul.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z recently stirred up a storm thanks to his reclaiming of Dame Dash’s Reasonable Doubt shares. Well, not right now, as he would eventually earn this back from Dame in a couple of years. He’s not too happy about the situation at all, but it seems like his former co-boss is dead-set on getting his shares back. We’ll see what happens with that situation, and whether or not it will turn out to be a losing bet.

Jake Paul Beats Mike Perry In Six Rounds And Goes Back And Forth With Conor McGregor Right After

Jake Paul and Conor McGregor don’t often get along, and the latter was right there to take a dump on the former’s victory on Saturday night (July 20). Moreover, Paul defeated Mike Perry in a sixth-round TKO, and he didn’t take long before he called out the UFC’s current middleweight champion, Alex Pereira. This makes the social media personality’s record a 10-1 streak against some MMA stars, and ahead of his postponed fight with Mike Tyson, he must be feeling on top of the world. But again, McGregor was there to bring some medicine to the sugar, and we can only guess as to what a back-and-forth would look like.

“Jake Paul is the biggest pissbag I have ever seen in my life,” Conor McGregor tweeted in the wee hours of Saturday night after Paul’s victory. “40 pound weight difference, juiced out of his head, and still s***ting himself in there. Nakisa you should take him to Vegas oh that’s right you could never, the athletic commission testing, real testing, real fighting. B***h a**es. You could never. And then calling out 60 year old Mike Tyson fresh off an in flight medical emergency? I swear to god, a fat can of b***h piss. Most valuable pissbag.”

Conor McGregor Blasts Jake Paul

“That’s f***ed up that he fired your BKFC champion,” Jake Paul responded to Conor McGregor’s firing of Mike Perry and McGregor’s tweets and attacks during the post-fight press conference. “But, I told you that was going to happen. You know, I told you exactly what was going to happen. He was big-upping his boy, Mike Perry. I said, ‘Okay, Conor. Like, after I f**k up Mike Perry, then you’re next.’

Paul Responds To McGregor

“So Conor’s on Twitter all the time, he’s on his yacht all the time,” Jake Paul continued. “But guess where he’s not? In the ring fighting me. So he can talk all the f**k he wants. But ‘The Notorious MMA’ is scared of Jake Joseph Paul from Disney Channel. And I put that on my mama.” We’ll see what other combative statements he has for his opps, and whether or not any of these relevant parties will duke it out again or for the first time.
