Tokyo Toni Disses Beyonce & Blue Ivy, Karlissa Saffold Comes To Their Rescue

Blac Chyna has been on a radical path of self-transformation over the past 12 months, but we can’t say the same for her mom, Tokyo Toni. As we enter December, the latter continues her antics of talking trash about other celebrities on social media, most recently going off on Beyonce and her firstborn daughter, Blue Ivy, as they celebrate the success of their RENAISSANCE concert film landing in theatres. “Dear Beyonce, try again. Girl please, get out of here,” Toni began her rant ahead of the weekend.

“Scripted, made-up pieces and portions. Dear Beyonce, can you do me a favour? Can you go to the Moon? Build your house there with your husband, and your kids,” the embattled entertainer went on. “Why are you grooming our Black children through your daughter?” Toni asked the Houston native. “I don’t care nothing about your BeyHive, those lil demons will get sprayed down with my mouth – pure Holy water,” she further threatened any fans who dare defend the Carter family. Despite her words of caution, Blueface’s mom, Karlissa Saffold, appeared in @theneighborhoodtalk’s comment section with a message for the 51-year-old.

Tokyo Toni’s Latest Target is Beyonce and Her Firstborn

“Girl, if you don’t stop messing with Blue Ivy!” the reality star stepped up to bat for the 11-year-old. “She is proving the Black children early work ethics through generational talent. Don’t discourage her because she ain’t out here getting pregnant and waiting to be nobody baby momma like us. Don’t do her,” Saffold added.

While Karlissa Saffold may feel entitled to call out Tokyo Toni for her wrongdoings, it wasn’t so long ago that the internet was coming after her for bashing Sexyy Red. Blueface’s mom has since apologized for her hateful comments, but still, some feel she should think twice before critiquing her contemporary next time. Blue Ivy Carter Used Critical Comments of Her Early ‘Renaissance’ Performances to Get Better

Blue Ivy Steals The Show in Icy Park Campaign

Blue Ivy Carter became one of the biggest parts of Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour. But she was supposed to be a one-time moment.

The New York Times was in attendance at the Renaissance World Tour premiere in Los Angeles and dropped a key moment from the show. “She told me she was ready to perform and I told her ‘no’” Beyoncé says in the film.

Blue Ivy would take the stage on May 26 but ended up reading some critical comments, which she did not let discourage her; instead, she used it to train harder.

You can see the trailer for the film below.

Beyoncé’s Daughter Blue Ivy Used The ‘Renaissance World Tour’ Online Criticism As Fuel To Sharpen Her Stage Presence

Even with two of this decade’s most famous music parents, Blue Ivy Carter isn’t relying on “nepo baby” perks to fulfill her dreams. She’s also not afraid to stand up to naysayers. According to The New York Times, in a part of her mother’s concert documentary Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, she refused to let online criticism of her performance break her soul.

In May, during the international wing of the Renaissance World Tour, Blue Ivy surprised concertgoers by performing “Black Parade” and “My Power” with her mom. While most Beyhive members proudly cheered on Blue Ivy, others, including infamous YouTube personality Tasha K, slammed her stage presence.

In the Renaissance concert film, Beyoncé revealed that despite her efforts to keep Blue Ivy protected from the public, she caught a glimpse of the negative remarks. Instead of letting that hold her back, she’s gone on to use that as fuel to sharpen her stage presence, pulling a page out of her mother’s book.

Beyoncé applauded Blue Ivy’s dedication on tour in a touching post on her official Instagram page. “My beautiful firstborn,” she wrote with a prayer hands emoji. “I’m so proud and thankful to be your mama” You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel.”

A fan created a comparative video to emphasize how hard Blue Ivy worked from her first to her last appearance on the tour.

Blue Ivy Carter’s “RENAISSANCE” Tour Dancing Got Better Due To Criticism, Beyonce Says

Most 11-year-olds can hardly fathom the idea of giving a presentation in front of their middle school class. While Blue Ivy Carter didn’t ask to be born into the spotlight as the eldest child of Jay-Z and Beyonce, she certainly wears it well and even stunned her famous parents by performing alongside the “Single Ladies” hitmaker for the majority of her RENAISSANCE Tour throughout the summer. As you may recall, the tween fell victim to an astounding amount of hate after her first show, with some suggesting Blue’s first time performing in front of 70,000 people somehow could’ve gone better.

In recent weeks, the young girl’s grandmother, Tina Lawson, shared that Carter was only set to join Bey for one show. The newly released concert film echoes these sentiments from the Queen herself, who also shared that her daughter came across the criticism about her dancing online, which was particularly heartbreaking for the Houston native to watch. “She told me she was ready to perform, and I told her no,” Beyonce says in the movie, as per the New York Times.

Upon reading the harsh words of others, the “ALIEN SUPERSTAR” expected to see Blue give up, or break down in emotion. Instead, the nepo baby put her best foot forward and remained determined to improve her skills for future performances. The Carter’s firstborn became a staple in the show by the time their tour wrapped, and we’re eager to see how else she’ll collaborate with Bey and Jay as she continues to grow.

After sharing the stage with her world-famous mother for months, Blue Ivy Carter couldn’t have been happier to support her at Saturday (November 25) night’s RENAISSANCE concert film premiere. Beyonce didn’t walk the red carpet along with invitees like Lizzo and her Destiny’s Child groupmates, but she’s still managing to break the internet with her bombshell blonde outfit for the event. See photos of that at the link below, and check back later for more music/pop culture news updates.

Blue Ivy’s “Renaissance” Performance Was Originally A “One Time Thing,” Tina Knowles Says

During her recent appearance on SHERRI, Tina Knowles opened up about seeing her granddaughter Blue Ivy perform at the Renaissance tour. According to her, the 11-year-old’s appearance was supposed to be a “one-time thing,” but Beyonce’s daughter had other ideas. Knowles recalls being nervous for Blue Ivy ahead of her first performance. The pre-teen quickly proved, however, that she wouldn’t let anything hold her back.

As for whether or not Blue Ivy had a grasp of the magnitude of what she was doing, Knowles said “I don’t think so.” The proud grandmother continued, revealing that her passion is what guided her. “She just loves to dance and she was watching the girls rehearse and she said, ‘I think I’m ready to go on stage,’ and her mom said ‘no no I don’t think so Blue.’ Then she thought about it, and said ‘if you work hard and you really come with it then we’ll let you go one time.’ So it was supposed to be a one-time thing.

Beyonce Initially Said “No” To Blue Ivy Joining Her On Tour

Clearly, things went off without a hitch. Blue Ivy went on to be featured through the remainder of the tour. According to her grandmother, she and her father couldn’t be more excited to see her on stage. “Me and her dad we were together every night,” Knowles explained. “And he would come to the front where I was and watch that. I was in tears and he was grinning so hard I thought his face would hurt.”

“She’s only 11 years old,” Knowles described. “And to get in front of 70 thousand people at 11 is huge.” What do you think of Tina Knowles revealing that Blue Ivy’s Renaissance tour appearance was supposed to be a one time thing? Jay-Z Reveals The Origins Of Blue Ivy’s Name And Praises Her “Renaissance Tour” Performance

Jay-Z recently sat down with Gayle King for a rare interview on CBS Mornings. He doesn’t unpack his personal and creative life very often so when he sits down for an interview like this fans pour over every detail. They honed in on moments like his discussion about potentially selling his masters. He talked about how he doesn’t want to sell them any time soon because he fought so hard to gain control of his music in the first place.

Another fan-favorite moment is when he talked about his daughter Blue Ivy. First, he explained how he and Beyonce arrived at her name in the first place. “Her name was supposed to be Brooklyn. That was the name that we had in theory. But when we got to, what do you call it, those little sonograms? You know, it was super small there and we was calling her Blueberry. Like, ‘Look at the little blueberry.’ It was like a nickname for nine months. So, it was natural, we just took the ‘berry’ off and just called her Blue,” Jay explained. In a even more adorable moment, he explained how proud he was of his daughter for absolutely killing it as a dancer on Beyonce’s “Renaissance Tour” earlier this year. Check out the full interview below.

Jay-Z Talks Blue Ivy In New Interview

The biggest detail Jay-Z fans clung onto is what it would take for him to release new music. “I’ll say I wanna make music, but it has to be something important. I don’t wanna just make a bunch of tunes. That’s not gonna serve me. It won’t feed me, first of all. I have to be saying something important. It has to mean something, you know? It has to mean something to a larger society.”

Jay-Z also revealed which of his albums he thinks is the “most important.” To the surprise of many fans, that album was Vol 2. Hard Knock Life. He explained that the album saw him finally coming into form as a songwriter and served as one of the biggest moments of his career. What do you think of Jay-Z’s comments about Blue Ivy in his new interview? Let us know in the comment section below.

Jay-Z Revealed How Blue Ivy Got Her Name

The second part of Jay-Z’s CBS Mornings interview with Gayle King has arrived. In the first part, he revealed what it would take for him to release a new album, addressed memes about his “awkward” dancing, and why he won’t be selling his masters anytime soon.

In today’s second part, Jay tells King where his daughter Blue Ivy’s name came from, and that it was originally supposed to be something else entirely.

“Her name was meant to be Brooklyn,” Jay said. “That was the name we had in theory, but when we got the sonogram, it was super small and we was calling her Blueberry. Like, ‘Look at the little blueberry!’ It was a nickname. For nine months, we were like, ‘Look at the little blueberry,’ so it was natural. We just took the ‘berry’ off and called her Blue.”

In regards to Blue Ivy joining Beyoncé onstage on her Renaissance World Tour, Jay said, “I still get goosebumps seeing her walk on stage ’cause Blue’s been born into a life she didn’t ask for. Since she was born, she’s been in scrutiny, in public eye, and having an opinion of even a little girl how she keeps her hair, so for her to be on that stage to reclaim her power and the song is called ‘My Power,’ you can’t write a better script.”

Jay-Z Says Blue Ivy Finally Sees Him As A Cool Dad Now

Jay-Z’s recent interview with Gayle King on CBS held a lot of interesting information and revelations, including his thoughts on what it would take for him to drop more music. However, there were much more wholesome moments, too. For example, Hov touched upon his relationship with his 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter, which has been the public face of his three children with Beyoncé. Apparently, there was once a time during which Blue Ivy didn’t see her dad as “cool,” and he confessed that things have changed. While it’s bizarre for us to think of the Brooklyn MC as anything less than that, we’ve also never had to hear him tell us to do our homework, so the young dancer has a very unique perspective.

“Do your kids think you’re cool?” King asked Jay-Z. “Um, Blue, she be fronting on me a little bit,” he confessed. “But she… I catch her, I catch her in the corner, you know? Now she askin’ me, you know, if this is cool, you know, or her sneakers or whatever she’s wearing. Yeah, she’s come back. But there was a time when she was like, ‘Dad!’ [covers face embarrassedly]. I was like, ‘I’m cool, I don’t know what you saying.’ At your house, your parents is cool.”

Along with this family insight, the two also discussed one of the most viral hip-hop debates in recent memory: dinner with Jay-Z or $500K? “You got to take the money,” he believes. “What I’ma say? You got all of that in the music for $10.99. That’s a bad deal. I wouldn’t tell you to cut a bad deal. If you piece it together and really listen to the music for the words for what it is, it’s all there. Everything that I said was going to happen, happened. Everything I said I wanted to do, I’ve done. The blueprint to me and my life and my journey is there already.”

Meanwhile, what would you pick in that debate? Do you still see the legendary lyricist as cool or is he more of a dinosaur within the genre these days? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Jay-Z.

“Hi!” Tina Knowles began in the video. “I’m here with the makeup extraordinaire, Miss Blue Ivy Carter. She just did my makeup! She’s been doing my makeup for years. And I really like it. I just don’t know about- I don’t know if you can see it, but I got, like, little glittery stuff on the top. I told her I think I might be a tad bit too old for glitter on the top of my eyes. But what do y’all think?” Hilariously, Blue Ivy says “No” when the 69-year-old doubted whether she can still rock glitter.

Over the course of Beyonce’s Renaissance tour, her 11-year-old daughter has been joining her onstage as a dancer. Blue Ivy’s captured the attention of millions of fans around the world, receiving praise for her work ethic and dedication. Her connection with her superstar mother also manages to tug on supporters’ heartstrings, as Bey continues to hype up she and Jay-Z’s eldest child.

Though Blue Ivy’s received primarily positive feedback from the countless fans watching her perform alongside her mom, there have been some critics. Since she made her dancing debut at her mother’s Renaissance tour earlier this summer, haters have called her out for being “stiff,” claiming that she could use some work on her moves. In July, Tasha K went in on her for her moves, claiming that they were lackluster.

Blue Ivy Carter’s Improvement Seen In Comparison TikTok

“Everybody knows that Blue Ivy was very stiff up there. Beyonce just gon’ tell this girl that she got it. We’ve seen 13-year-old girls from the hood outdance and hula-hoop her! I like Blue Ivy, I think she’s beautiful, I think she’s going to be a model. Her momma already has her life being set up. But her momma has to be honest with her and tell her the truth,” she said. Obviously, she’s a child, and her skills will continue to develop over time. With that being said, some critics have been pretty brutal.

Fans, however, have been noticing that in the short time she’s been performing on tour, her skills have improved tremendously. In a comparison TikTok posted by user @queenbeyswife, viewers see how far she’s come in just a few months. In the more recent clip, Blue Ivy looks to be far more confident than before, committing fully to each move. Fans point out that her energy and stage presence will only continue to go up from here, and are excited for what the future holds for her.
