Dwayne Wade’s Family Attends Beyoncé’s Birthday Concert In Style

Music phenom Beyoncé continues to rock the world with her Renaissance World Tour, traveling all over wowing fans and raking in tons of money. Throughout her various shows, the biggest and brightest stars have come out to support the singer’s amazing performances. Another big name(s) she can check off the list is the Wade family. Former NBA superstar and now Hall-Of-Famer, Dwayne Wade, his wife Gabrielle Union, and their kids, recently attended the Saturday show on September 2. The show took place in Los, Angeles California, and came just days before Beyoncé’s birthday, which is today, September 4. The first day in L.A. was September 1.

Additionally, one more date will be performed in the City of Angels tonight (September 4). That one should be a doozy and sold out. Because it is her special day, she has been requesting fans to bring out their best silver outfits to help celebrate. That was also the dress code for the show Dwayne and his family went to, but not all of them wore the proper attire.

As you can see in the photos above from Dwayne Wade’s Instagram account, most of the gang, especially Gabrielle, donned silver. However, Mr. Wade appeared to be too cool for the rules. The only bit of silver color thrown into the outfit is a bracelet that possesses a family mantra on it. It is referred to as the Way of Wade slogan, and it says, “Make your own way.” The former Miami Heat shooting guard captioned the post, “Style is generational 😉 #Renaissance #RenaissanceWorldTour #Night2.”

It’s B-Day: The BeyHive Celebrates As Beyonce Turns 42

Not only is today a national holiday, giving many time off work, but it’s also Beyonce’s 42nd birthday. The Houston-born performer is a true Virgo, as she’s best known for her ethereal energy that’s curated through extreme perfectionism. She’s spent much of the last few months performing for tens of thousands on her RENAISSANCE World Tour, which has been making major headlines thanks to her Los Angeles concerts. Ahead of her birthday, Bey specifically requested that friends and fans step out in their best silver attire, turning SoFi Stadium and other venues into a giant disco ball to perfectly match the theme of her latest LP.

While most people would want to spend their birthday as far away as possible from work, the Lemonade hitmaker will be performing one final show in the City of Angels tonight (September 4), in true Virgo fashion. Adele has already said that she’ll be in attendance, though she’s not sure if she’ll be able to pull off silver as Beyonce has requested. Recent performances have also seen a star-studded roster of opening acts, including DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, and Doechii, just to name a few.

Even those who won’t be at tonight’s RENAISSANCE show to celebrate with the mother of three are using social media to ensure she feels the love. “Happy 42nd birthday to the legendary Beyonce,” @PopBase tweeted at midnight. “The vocalist has built a legacy unlike any other with one of the most acclaimed discographies ever, which has earned the most Grammys of all time by any artist.”

“She is recognized by Rolling Stone as the greatest living entertainer,” they reminded us. Elsewhere online, throwback videos showing how much Bey has evolved over the years are surfacing, much to pop culture fanatics’ pleasure.

Beyoncé Named Honorary Mayor of Santa Clara During 'Renaissance' Tour Visit

The Queen reigns supreme. Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour has become the highest-grossing tour by a female artist in history. Currently sitting at $461 million, Renaissance has pushed Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet Tour to the second spot.

Beyoncé still has sets left in Inglewood, Houston, New Orleans, and more before wrapping up this set of dates.

On Wednesday (Aug. 30), Beyoncé was dubbed the honorary mayor of Santa Clara, California. According to Mercury News, Beyoncé reigned over the city for a day and was presented with a key to the city on the same day of her Renaissance Tour stop at Levi Stadium.

“The city of Santa Clara is excited about Beyonce’s upcoming visit to the world-renowned Levi’s Stadium,” Santa Clara spokesperson Michelle Templeton said.

Kid Cudi Says Beyoncé’s Renaissance Show was ‘Greatest Concert’ of His Life

Kid Cudi fans are in luck! The “Day ‘N’ Nite” rapper took to Twitter last night to inform the masses that his new album is on the way.

Kid Cudi was overjoyed with his experience at Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour. Cudi was one of the many celebrities in the house for Queen Bey’s Los Angeles dates, receiving a set of tickets from JAY-Z. According to Cudi, it was the greatest concert of his life and his “face melted.”

“Just saw Beyoncé perform for the very first time and my face melted,” Cudi said. “This was the greatest concert Ive ever been to. Fuckin unreal. Happy early Bday B!! Mad love to Hov for getting me tix. Love u big bro.”

Jay-Z & Lil Durk Link Up After Beyonce’s Show In Los Angeles

Lil Durk and Jay-Z were among the avalanche of stars present at Beyonce’s recent “RENAISSANCE” tour stops in Los Angeles. The two rappers might be from different generations, but they were all smiles after the concert in a series of newly surfaced pictures. It seems like everybody had an amazing time at the spectacle, and from what footage and testimonies indicate, it should come as no surprise. What’s more is that it’s probably made more fun for fans, given that they can scope out which big names are around. To top it off, this was after Durkio gave a surprise performance as part of DJ Khaled’s opening set that night.

Of course, when two MCs link up, the first thought in many fans’ minds is what a collaboration between them would sound like if there isn’t one already. In the case of Lil Durk and Jay-Z, their hardened and entrepreneurial approach in the game is quite similar. Sure, Hov and other OGs opened those doors for many artists to aspire to, and the Chicago artist is no exception. That inspiration, though, can yield amazing results, so hopefully it ends up happening down the road.

In a XXL interview, Lil Durk said that Jay-Z inspired him to “build an empire of [his] own.” “S**t, look what he did. Résumé speak for itself. He used to be in this position. He used to be the underdog. The streets used to take him under. And he bossed up, you know what I’m sayin’? You ain’t see him post pictures every day trying to fit in. I seen him at Michael Rubin’s party. He like, ‘Man, you motivate me.’ Man, f***ed me up. I forgot my reply to him, ’cause it was on a walk-by. The reply ain’t make no damn sense ’cause it shocked me. I’m like, ‘What the f**k? Damn, that’s hard.’

“It’s just motivation,” he said when asked how that made him feel. “Everything happens for a reason. It was for a reason I was standing right there when he walked past at the time. You know, it’s probably people that be around him every day or be around Drake every day and wasting time. And they won’t be like, ‘Lemme learn how to engineer. Lemme learn how to shoot videos, lemme learn how to…’ They just want to soak up the air. I’m like, nah, I’m gonna get to it. 2 Chainz, Offset, Coi Leray, And More Join DJ Khaled To Open Beyonce’s First “RENAISSANCE” LA Show

Thus far on Beyonce’s RENAISSANCE World Tour, we haven’t seen too many surprise guests take the stage alongside her. Of course, her eldest child, Blue Ivy Carter, has been a regular performance staple alongside Queen B, and her troupe of dancers has been keeping audiences more than entertained. For her first performance in Los Angeles on Friday (September 1) night, however, the Houston native finally felt as though it was time to recruit some of her fellow creatives to share her stage. Late in August, it was confirmed that DJ Khaled would have the honour of opening for Beyonce. He made sure to impress with the friends that he brought along.

Not only did the DJ bring Coi Leray out from the East Coast to sing her smash hit “Players” single, but we also saw Offset pay tribute to Michael Jackson once again. The father of five dressed in a black and silver outfit, similarly styled to the King of Pop before performing a throwback favourite, “Ric Flair Drip” to Beyonce’s audience. A few West Coast icons also made appearances, such as Roddy Ricch (though he appeared to run into technical difficulties during his song), and Wiz Khalifa.

The latter put everyone in attendance in a feel-good mood with “Young, Wild, and Free” before Lil Wayne turned the energy up with “Encore.” RENAISSANCE tickets were undeniably expensive, but with such a star-studded roster of opening acts, they were worth every penny for music lovers in LA.

Besides the talent joining DJ Khaled and Bey on stage, plenty of famous faces were spotted in the crowd as well. Among them were Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, Kelly Rowland, Kris Jenner, Issa Rae, and dozens more.

Last night, fans at Beyoncé’s Renaissance show at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium got a special treat when Queen Bey brought DJ Khaled out as a special guest to entertain the crowd before her set.

In true DJ Khaled fashion, he brought out a load of heavy hitters including, 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, Roddy Ricch, Coi Leray, Offset, and Lil Wayne, to perform with him.

DJ Khaled breezed through some of his biggest songs, including “All I Do Is Win.” Wiz Khalifa played “Young, Wild, & Free,” as the two sang along to the carefree track and Coi Leray performed her hit song, “Players’.

Celebrities spotted at the Los Angeles show included Kris Jenner, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Sofia Vergara, Pedro Pascal, Gabrielle Union, Keke Palmer, Kelly Rowland, Lil Wayne, Offset, Roddy Rich, Issa Rae, Lebron James, Sarah Paulson and Tracee Ellis Ross. Fans attending Beyoncé’s SoFi Stadium second show will also get a chance to see DJ Khaled as an opening act — possibly with new and/or returning special guests to join him. He first revealed the big news through Instagram.

“I’m telling you now GET THERE AT 7 PM!” DJ Khaled captioned his post from earlier this afternoon. “Trust me! History in the making!”

During Beyoncé’s Renaissance show tonight as the first of her Los Angeles dates at SoFi Stadium, she brought DJ Khaled as a special guest to entertain and energize the crowd before her set even started.

And he too had some surprises in store. During DJ Khaled’s set, he brought out even more famous faces, including 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, Roddy Ricch, Coi Leray, Offset, and Lil Wayne, to perform with him.

DJ Khaled treated the audience to some of his biggest songs, including “All I Do Is Win.” Wiz Khalifa played “Young, Wild, & Free,” as the two sung along to the carefree track.

Later on in the set, Leray performed her hit song, “Players,” which got a boost in popularity through TikTok. (She was also an Uproxx cover star.)

Fans attending Beyoncé’s SoFi Stadium show tomorrow (Sept. 2) will also get a chance to see DJ Khaled as an opening act — possibly with new and/or returning special guests to join him. He had first revealed the news through Instagram.

Beyoncé has once again called on DJ Khaled to join her on the remainder of the Reinassance world tour. Khaled took to Instagram to share the news with fans. “When the Queen calls…I run,” he said. The We The Best hitmaker previously joined the Queen Bey on her Formation tour. Looks like he’s over the moon about reuniting with the Grammy-Award-winning singer.

“RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR WE ON OUR WAY !” he began. “Can’t wait to open up for the Queen in LA Sep 1st and Sep 2nd! LETS GO! #FANLUV & #BEYHIVE [bee emoji] make sure to get there at 7:30! [disco emoji] thank you @beyonce @jayz for the invite! When the Queen [crown emoji] calls … I run!! [runner emoji].” He continued: “BEYONCÉ DID! !Til Next Time ✌🏽🫶🏽 @wethebest @rocnation @parkwood. FYI I have nooo tickets!”

On the music front, the producer recently announced he has a new album coming TIL NEXT TIME. He once again took to social media to share the news with his fans. “I got a very blessed call this morning! 9 am ! My album Til Next Time is going to be very special! Taking my time putting this album together this call I got this morning wow !” his post began. While he doesn’t specify what specifically has him so excited he does continue on hyping up the project. “All I have say is the 2 keys it’s GOD SENT! Nothing like have real brother that loves you and want u to win big ! Fanluv Til Next Time!” he wrote in an Instagram post.

In other related news, Cam’ron recently opened up about having to stop his crew from robbing Khaled. In a snippet he shared for his upcoming mixtape, the rapper opens up about the story. “Old 40th, your g-pass is not that valid/ I swear to God I stopped my young boys from robbing Khaled (another one)/ Cam did!” he rhymes. It’s unclear what was the motive behind the attempted robbery, but Khaled is probably more than grateful. And so are we.
