Well, good news: Spotify Wrapped 2023 was unveiled today (November 29). Aside from offering users a look at their own listening habits, Spotify also unveils what artists, songs, albums, and more were the most popular on the platform over the past year.

This year’s top artist shouldn’t be a major surprise: It’s Taylor Swift. Between her two new Taylor’s Version albums (Speak Now and 1989) and The Eras Tour (and all the buzz that created around her catalog in general), Swift was huge in 2023, as she topped both the global and US most-streamed artists charts.

The use of artificial intelligence software within the arts continues to rise, especially in music. With the Recording Academy’s recent inclusion of AI-generated recordings in the Grammy nomination pool, it won’t slow down anytime soon. While artists like Grimes embrace the advancement of sonic tech, others, such as Drake, are adamantly against it. Bad Bunny is another superstar who has come out in opposition to AI-generated recordings.

On November 6, the “Baticano” musician took to his WhatsApp community chat to blast a now-viral AI-generated track using his voice and its supporters. “If you guys liked that shit of a song that’s viral on TikTok, leave this group right now. You don’t deserve to be my friend, and for that [reason], I made the new album to get rid of people like that. So then ‘chu chu’ out of here… My God, I don’t want you at the tour either,” wrote Bad Bunny.

Bad Bunny has had an exciting spooky season. Earlier this month, the Puerto Rican superstar released his fifth studio album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Mañana. He also appeared on Saturday Night Live, as a host and musical guest. As Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Mañana continues to be one of 2023’s buzziest releases, Bunny has shared with us the latest offering from the album — a horror-themed new visual for “Baticano” — which arrives just in time for Halloween.

In the cinematic visual, a Frakenstein-esque scientist, played by the illustrious Steve Buscemi, creates a terrifying monster out of Bunny. Bunny is later set free, arrives at a graveyard, where corpses and ghosts deliver a haunting dance routine.

The “Baticano” video is just the latest example of Bunny demonstrating his on-screen talents. Last year, he starred in the thriller Bullet Train, and this year he had a role in the biographical drama, Cassandro. He also stole the show during his appearance on SNL, keeping the audience in stitches throughout the night.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Bunny teased that we may soon see him in more onscreen projects in the future.

“You could say that I have been investing a little bit more of myself in acting,” he said.

Every Monday, Billboard unveils the top 10 songs on the latest Hot 100 chart. The most recent rankings, for the chart dated November 4, are out now, so let’s run down who had this week’s biggest hits.

10. Gunna — “F*kumean”

This week’s top-10 songs are mostly the same as last week but shuffled around some, except for “F*kumean,” the only top-10 song that wasn’t in the region last week. The song, which previously peaked at No. 4, wasn’t far off, though, as it was No. 11 in last week’s ranks.

9. Bad Bunny — “Monaco”

Bad Bunny’s Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Mañana single was the biggest chart debut last week, entering the chart at No. 5. This week, though, it’s nearly out of the top 10.

8. Drake — “IDGAF” Feat. Yeat

“IDGAF” had a big opening week at No. 2 a couple weeks ago, but it’s been gradually working its way down the Hot 100 after falling to No. 4 this week and now No. 8 this frame.

7. Morgan Wallen — “Thinkin’ Bout Me”

This Wallen song and the next one on this list at No. 6 continue their massive climbs over the past couple weeks: “Thinkin’ Bout Me” rose from No. 25 to No. 10 and now to No. 7, a return sparked by Drake’s For All The Dogs songs leaving the top 10.

6. Morgan Wallen — “Last Night”

Similarly, “Last Night,” a former No. 1, rose from No. 19 to No. 9 and now it’s flirting with re-entering the top 5 at No. 6.

5. Luke Combs — “Fast Car”

2023 has been good to Tracy Chapman: She owns both the writer’s and publisher’s share of her song “Fast Car,” so Combs’ successful cover has been lining her pockets for the past few months.

4. Zach Bryan — “I Remember Everything” Feat. Kacey Musgraves

“I Remember Everything” continues to be a multi-genre hit, as it’s No. 1 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs and Hot Rock Songs charts for an ninth week and the Hot Country Songs chart for a fifth time.

3. SZA — “Snooze”

“Snooze” hasn’t quite hit No. 1, but it’s been dominating the Hot R&B Songs chart, where it’s No. 1 for the 13th week.

2. Doja Cat — “Paint The Town Red”

“Paint The Town Red” is perhaps Doja Cat’s biggest hit of her career, as it’s her only song to spend more than one week at No. 1 on the Hot 100. Even this week, it’s still thriving at No. 2.

1. Taylor Swift — “Cruel Summer”

1989 (Taylor’s Version) is only a few days old so it hasn’t hit the charts yet, but Swift didn’t need it to claim No. 1 this week thanks to “Cruel Summer.” It looks like we’ll be seeing a lot of 1989 (Taylor’s Version) on the Hot 100 next week, though: On release day, the album’s songs occupied the top 21 spots of the daily Spotify songs chart for the US, and subsequent daily charts have been pretty much the same story.

Upon the release of his fifth studio album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana, Bunny has topped the Billboard 200 chart with the collection, and his single “Monaco” just debuted at No. 5 on the Hot 100. While Bad Bunny and Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana may be dominating the streamers, fans are anxious to grab tickets to see him perform in person. However, given the demand for tickets to Bunny’s Most Wanted Tour, many are worried they won’t be able to see him, as tickets may be sold out.

Will Bad Bunny’s Most Wanted Tour be sold out?

While we can’t necessarily predict the future, it’s not unlikely that Bunny’s Most Wanted Tour will sell out. His previous tour, El Último Tour Del Mundo, was reported to be the fastest-selling tour since 2018, according to Billboard. The magazine reports that over 480,000 tickets sold in less than a week.

Tickets went on sale today, and it seems like they’re going pretty quickly. But luckily, resellers already have additional tickets in stock (if you’re willing to break the bank, that is).

Today (October 25), tickets for the tour have gone on sale by way of an exclusive pre-sale through Ticketmaster by way of its official Verified Fan Registration. General on-sale is expected to begin at a later time today. However, given recent Ticketmaster fiascos ahead of tours for Beyoncé and Taylor Swift, fans are worried that they may not be able to get tickets for the Most Wanted Tour.

Luckily, fans will have other opportunities to purchase tickets.

Hitting the Saturday Night Live stage for the second time tonight, Bad Bunny celebrated his new album Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Mañana with a performance of the instant fan-favorite “Monaco.”

While on stage, Bunny was seated in the middle of a large supper table, as he channeled the leader of a mafia. Joined by a group of fellow mafiosos, Bunny once again maintained an impeccable stage presence, as he turned up his charisma.

The performance slightly mirrored the mafia-themed music video for “Monaco,” which stars Al Pacino. Earlier in the week, Bunny made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, during which, he said that Pacino is his uncle.

Shortly after, Bunny clarified that he was joking, however, he said that the experience of working with Pacino was “a dream come true.”

Tonight marks Bunny’s second time performing on Saturday Night Live, but his first time hosting. Ahead of the performance, Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance to introduce Bunny, who then commands the stage, dancing in front of a coin-operated horse, against a white backdrop.

Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Mañana has been out for over a week, and Bunny is still riding the high of dropping the album. The album became the most streamed album on Spotify in a single day within the first 24 hours of its release. And this performance was simply “un preview” of what to expect from his upcoming tour.

Gaga isn’t the only famous friend of Bunny to make a surprise appearance. Earlier in the night, Bunny was joined by The Last Of Us actor Pedro Pascal in the middle of his opening monologue.
