T.I. Gracefully Reacts To Awkward Fan Encounter: Watch

As one of the biggest rappers out of the South for over twenty years, T.I. knows a thing or two about how to handle awkward fan interactions. One recent clip has fans particularly praising his gracious and polite nature, despite not liking what a fan was doing. Moreover, the Atlanta trap pioneer and community advocate was recently filmed chopping it up with some fans, speaking to one in particular about an upcoming project he’s shooting and editing that he might need some help with. Then, another fan approached him and asked if he could rap for him, to which he responded with a simple “No” before accepting his request for a picture.

Not only that, but T.I. also asked the fan to lower his arm off his shoulder, remarking he doesn’t like that before smiling for the camera as if he had just laughed at a joke. It’s at least impressive to see just how fast he can change on a dime. Of course, the 43-year-old has such a storied career that fans have plenty of reasons to want to engage with him for. There’s his classic established catalog, and then his mentor-like historical perspective on the current rap landscape, commenting on a lot of current trends, events, and evolutions in hip-hop.

But it’s always fun to look back at the journey to the present, right? Bow Wow recently reflected on how T.I. helped him craft his third album, 2003’s Unleashed. “This is before the King album, this is before A.T.L., this is young Tip,” he shared. “Me and Tip wrote that third album together with my man R.O.C. Me and Tip really kicked it. We had moments, especially in the studio. Him giving me that freedom, him teaching me how to write. Cadence, bars, song structure, just everything.

While GloRilla was busy falling head over heels for Damian Lillard, Shaq was seemingly in awe of the Memphis rapper. NBA All-Star weekend was another dud for many people, but a little less so for the Milwaukee Bucks point guard. He wound up taking home the trophy for the highly competitive 3-Point Contest. Dame actually became the first to repeat since the outings in 2007 and 2008. Then, on Sunday, he would go on to take the 73rd All-Star Game MVP with a 39-point performance. GloRilla certainly felt some type of way because she was eager to snag a picture with the decorated player. She was thirsting hard for him, tweeting, “Who n**** dis is? Cause I want him #GetEmGlo.”

Love was seemingly in the air all weekend long as Shaq was making sure GloRilla knew his feelings about her. His admiration for her actually dates back to December 2022 when Shaq asked her to marry him on Druski and Glo’s Instagram Live. He commented on the stream, “glo will u marry me.” Now, after that viral moment, he finally got the chance to see the up-and-comer from the South in person.

According to HipHopDX, the NBA legend was walking around courtside during the festivities. He was giving fans as close a look as possible to what it was like to be at All-Star weekend. Shaq Cam eventually led him to GloRilla taking a picture with 50 Cent, in what had to have a cool moment for her. However, it might have slightly been soured by Shaq’s looming presence. Glo was caught off guard in the moment, clearly not seeing the seven-footer in her peripheral. He awkwardly but hilariously interrupted the photo shoot telling GloRilla, “Hello Ms. Glo! You look awesome!” She laughed it off and it all seemed to be a cute interaction. But we would be lying if we were not getting a little bit of second-hand embarrassment.

From feuding with other women on Baddies to navigating her on-again-off-again relationship with Blueface on Cr*zy In Love, the Baltimore native has been providing us with plenty of (often toxic) entertainment over the past few years, letting her vulnerable emotions come through in various situations. We’ve seen a substantial amount of maturity in Rock since she first stepped into the spotlight. Nevertheless, while she doesn’t cry over her baby daddy quite as much, she still sometimes struggles to understand the boundaries of others.

In a video making rounds on Twitter this weekend, Rock dances at the club with her girlfriends. The new mother is clearly feeling herself, as we’ve seen in the various videos showing off her body’s quick snapback after giving birth to Chrisean Jr.). Bobbi Althoff’s podcast has sent the 26-year-old speedily skyrocketing into the inner circles of Hollywood, but that doesn’t mean everyone is a fan of her work. The young woman has been sitting down with some of the biggest names in hip-hop over the past few months, asking them notoriously awkward questions and bickering through uncomfortable small talk. Drake previously sat down with Althoff. However, his interview is no longer streaming after rumours of a sexual relationship between the pair began flying. Elsewhere, she’s also spoken to Lil Yachty, and more recently, Offset.

As reactions to her video with the former Migo continue to pour in, it seems Althoff isn’t feeling any worry about the negativity. To celebrate her success, she went out on the town with a group of friends, though it’s obvious in the video below that her awkward nature follows her outside of recording her Really Good Podcast episodes too. On Saturday (September 30) evening, salacious reality starlet Sukihana posted a tweet that finds her turning up on stage at the strip club, Althoff standing alongside her, looking stiff as ever with her arms crossed.

As Suki’s “Eating” blares in the background, the L&HH star gives Althoff an aggressive pat on the back to encourage her to dance along. “D**k all in my booty hole, I finna get my a** bleached / I don’t want yo’ kids, ni**a, put ’em on my a** cheeks,” the single’s NSFW lyrics go. Though a small smirk appears on the media personality’s face, she doesn’t give in to moving along with the infectious beat. Instead, she stands in the same position while patrons throw money at Suki and her friends.

During her uncomfortable conversation with Offset on The Really Good Podcast last month, Bobbi Althoff found herself falling victim to the rapper’s quick wit. Funnily enough, when he asked why she wants to know him, Althoff said that she actually doesn’t.

Even though they don’t know how this happened, they still kept up an engaging, albeit cringeworthy, back and forth. To do so, they both stayed on the same wavelength. When the former Migo said he had to go on TikTok to find out who she was (because she’s not on Google), Bobbi Althoff said she Googled who he was on her way to the shoot.

Of course, this might not match the now-infamous interview Bobbi Althoff did with Drake, which propelled her into viral fame in the hip-hop world. She actually ended up deleting the whole thing for unknown reasons, though many speculate that the 6 God had something to do with it. Hopefully, Offset is a better sport if this is true, because these have been pretty bizarre pieces of content that show an interesting side to these artists. Sure, that’s also come with a lot of hate, but name something on the Internet that hasn’t.

Meanwhile, the “FAN” hitmaker has good reason to go on a press run, as unconventional as this interview is. His new album Set It Off is dropping soon, and many fans are excited to hear more in both musical and personal terms. Interestingly enough, Gunna just proved that you can do that while still being polite to a fan in a new, albeit awkward clip. One interviewer walked up to him with his phone and asked him about his fit. The clip abruptly cuts off before going into another question from the recorder, which indicates that either someone cut his response or Wunna just didn’t give one.

Of course the College Park MC dripped down; he recently attended New York Fashion Week. Whether he talked about his fit or ignored the fan is a question we might never know. Moreover, that edit could’ve saved the interviewer a bit of embarrassment, but it’s still clear from his dejected walk that Gunna wasn’t interested in talking. Before leaving, the recorder praised his single “fukumean” and his Barclays show, for which he looked back and said “Thank you.”

Blue’s family matriarch was most recently called out in the comment section of a post insisting that men should be at least six feet tall in order to help ease the endless burdens of womanhood. “I walked into his house and it was super awkward because he’s really like kind of awkward. And, I’ve heard that going into it, but me with another awkward person is like– I think it’s because you guys aren’t awkward, maybe that’s why. Because he was awkward,” Althoff began. “I walked into his house. He didn’t even like say hi to me. So, then I was like, ‘let’s go to the bathroom.’ So, then we go to the bathroom and then, we like get out and he’s just sitting there with his two assistants and he’s not even acknowledging that I’m in the room. My camera guy is setting up and I’m just sitting there on my phone. And then he comes up and is like ‘oh, hi,’ and gives me a half-hug and I’m just like, ‘hi,’ then he goes back to sit.”

While many were able to understand where Fletcher’s frustration is coming from, some saw an opportunity to diss her. “You got rich being a baby mama,” they responded to her post. “How you get rich?” the content creator clapped back, obviously unbothered by the legacy that precedes her. Even if her initial boost into the spotlight came as a result of her affiliations with Herbo and others, Ari has done everything in her power since then to ensure she’s relevant.
