Travis Scott has hinted that he is working on JackBoys 2. While signing autographs for fans, one asked Scott about the rumored projects. “It’s in the works!” Scott shouted back, leading to much excitement. Of course, Scott has already released Utopia this year but it seems that he’s already back on the production wagon. The original JackBoys album came out in 2019 and hit No. 1 on the Billboard Album 200. Fans have been clamoring for a follow-up ever since.
Elsewhere, it also appeared that 21 Savage has made a swift return to the US after his European tour. Savage appeared in Atlanta alongside Scott to perform “TOPIA Twins”, their collab from Utopia. Scott made a few stand-in appearances for Savage during the “It’s All A Blur” Tour before Savage acquired his green card. They had previously performed the song in the US earlier this year. However, the reception was equally electric this time around.
As for Savage, as mentioned he just finished up his first-ever European tour. As part of that, the British-born rapper received a warm welcome at Arsenal FC. Arsenal presented Savage with a custom #21 Savage jersey. The #21 jersey is currently worn by Fábio Vieira, who joined the Gunners from Porto in 2022. After the game, Savage also linked up with Emil Smith Rowe, Arsenal’s 23-year-old midfielder. Also following the game, the Emirates Stadium made sure to play Savage’s bar from “Circo Loco” about the team winning the Premier League.
Savage couldn’t have picked a better game to attend. Arsenal dismantled French side Lens, scoring six goals to officially win their Champions League group. However, Arsenal have one more match in the group stage. The Gunners travel to the Netherlands to face second-place PSV in mid-December. Furthermore, Arsenal sits two points clear at the top of the Premier League. The Gunner did their part, beating Wolves 2-1. However, they were helped out by Manchester City drawing 3-3 with Spurs to widen the gap at the top of the table.
As we approach the end of the year, it’s becoming clear that BabyDrill will be one artist to keep an eye on in 2024. He’s already emerged as a frontrunner for Atlanta and his latest offering further cements his status as one of the South’s most promising stars. “Watchin Now” brings the rapper’s laidback flow and descriptive bars together with icy and hard-knocking production to set the tone for his next project, Score God. It’s an excellent showcasing of the number of flows he pulls out of his hat.
The record arrived alongside a raw music video that provides a behind-the-scenes look at his life. From mobbing through the streets of Atlanta with his day-ones to backstage at shows, the video for “Watchin Now” captures a star in the making. The video also includes a cameo from Latto, who brings him out on-stage to perform “ISSAPARTY” and chops it up with him backstage. It’s a simple black-and-white visual that doesn’t need special effects or a big budget to capture the essence of BabyDrill.
BabyDrill began buzzing in the A with the release of “32 Freestyle.” However, the song began blowing up while he was incarcerated. It set the stage for his return home, and ultimately, landed him a deal with PDE. The budding star hit the ground running afterward, building his buzz while garnering mentorship from Young Nudy and 21 Savage. Currently, he’s serving as 21 Savage’s supporting act in the UK.
Score God will serve as the official follow-up to BabyDrill’s June 2023 project, MadMan. The 17-song project largely centered around BabyDrill, although 21 Savage and Young Nudy did appear on the song, “Slight Dub.” With Score God on the way, we imagine that 2024 will be a massive year for the Atlanta native. Moreover, Tip recently went to Buckhead on Tuesday night (November 28) to call a club out for using his picture- and that of his son, presumably King Harris- to promote their event. There’s a video of him speaking to various patrons or venue staff at its entrance, and he’s definitely quite heated.
Furthermore, this is an unfortunately common sight these days, as T.I.’s argument with King over him being an “embarrassment” went viral recently. Perhaps this narrative is what the Buckhead club wanted to capitalize on, and he was not happy at all. “N***a, you can talk to me!” the rapper exclaimed at those present. “Until then, ain’t nobody getting nothing going. Gunna has seemingly returned to Atlanta, with the rapper posting a video from the city on Saturday. It sees Gunna return to his primary base of operations for the first time (at least publicly) since being released from jail late last year. Furthermore, Gunna’s return coincides with the start of Young Thug’s trial, which is finally set to begin on Monday.
It’s a bold move for Gunna, as many people believe that the city is “off-limits” to him. There are many who still believe that Gunna’s plea deal included Gunna snitching on Thug. Evidence of this belief includes Gunna being one of the few people to admit under oath that YSL was a criminal gang. As a result, many believe Gunna should be right there alongside Thug. Despite this, Gunna has been vocal about his support of Thug, flashing a “Free Jeffrey” sign at several of his recent concerts.
Meanwhile, the start of Young Thug’s trial had social media reflecting on everything that has gone down since Thug was arrested nearly two years ago. The X account ThuggerDaily posted a long list of every wild thing that has happened. Highlights include Donald Trump accusing Fani Willis of sleeping with YSL Mondo, one defendant being found to be in a relationship with his jail guard, and someone hacking the courtroom screens to play porn.
However, after nearly a year of jury selection, Thug’s trial will start on Monday. After over 20 indictments, just six men will go to trial, Thug included. Despite this, there was still plenty of drama to go around. Thug’s lawyer was formally warned by the judge. The attorney was heard calling one of the prosecution’s pre-trial witnesses a “farce”. Similarly, Yak Gotti’s lawyer was warned after a verbal altercation. It stemmed from Gotti being denied his right to have a clear line of sight to the jury.
Doja Cat has long had a turbulent relationship with her fans and haters. Earlier this year she controversially picked a fight with some of her most die-hard fans. She took issue with the fact that they call themselves kittenz, which might have backfired. As a result she lost more than 200k Instagram followers and many of the most popular Doja fan pages deleted or changed their accounts in protest.
That wasn’t even part of the controversy she generated in the months following. During the lead-up to her new album Scarlet she increasingly embraced hellish and demonic imagery. That culminated in her single “Demons” which saw her literally taking on a demonic character. Unsurprisingly, that resulted in a lot of controversy for her. Doja handled it in various different ways, but mainly by doubling down on her actions pretty much every single time they were called into question.

The pictures themselves show some highlights from a recent tour stop in Atlanta. But the highlight of the post is Doja’s decision to let only people she follows comment on it. The move is common among stars dealing with some controversy. Just a few weeks ago Justin Timberlake was forced to turn his Instagram comments off entirely while dealing with backlash from Britney Spear’s new memoir.

The man took the lemons life gave him, made lemonade, and has been running with it ever since. If you’re a TikTok user or use social media a lot, it’s highly possible you’ve come across him on your feed before. Basically, Keith Lee has created a niche for himself, and become a favorite of food enthusiasts around the world.
Lee is a huge trend right now, especially due to his most recent visit to Atlanta as a part of his food tour. Like a Black Santa Claus, Lee went on his merry way spreading love and light throughout ATL. However, he seems to have left a trail of restaurants shaken in his wake as well due to his criticism of Atlanta’s food scene. Even Cardi B has corroborated Keith Lee’s story about the restaurants in ATL. Now a renowned food reviewer, he has come a very long way from his MMA days. Keith Lee’s MMA Beginnings
Born on October 4, 1996, Keith Lee first gained media attention duking it out with opponents in the MMA cage. Keith, who is the brother of MMA fighter Kevin Lee, has previously fought in both the Bantamweight and Featherweight divisions, going professional at the age of 20 in 2016. Known by the nickname “Killa,” Lee went on to partake in 13 MMA fights. Altogether, he holds a fair record, with eight wins and five losses. On TikTok, Lee shared how he secured a contract with Bellator MMA. “A day after Christmas (2019), I got a call from my manager and I earned a six-figure contract,” he said. Unfortunately, his contract with Bellator was terminated in August 2021, and he became broke again. However, that was probably the best thing to happen to him. The seemingly unfortunate event spurred Lee on to take a step that changed his life forever.
Keith Lee actually started posting content on his TikTok account way back in 2020. For most of his life, he had dealt with social anxiety and wanted to try conquering it through making videos of himself. In an interview with MMA Fighting, he shared, “I originally started doing TikTok to get more comfortable with doing interviews for MMA.” He explained further, “Because, at the time, all I was doing was MMA. Within that, it was about me learning how to slow myself down, how to speak at a more monotone tone. I usually speak this slow anyways, but when I get excited or I get nervous, I talk real fast.”
It would still take a while for the internet personality to finally settle on food reviews. He first pivoted to making more family-related content, often featuring his then-pregnant wife. Subsequently, the unusual cravings she had led Lee to start making cooking videos. Soon after, he was invited to appear on an episode of the popular YouTube show, People Vs Food.
“I was like OK, if I was to be on their show and I was a viewer, what would I look for if somebody was on a different platform?” Lee shared. “What would I look for in order for me to go to their platform and watch their videos? I was like, food reviews. I would watch somebody do food reviews all day. So let me start doing food reviews.”

In a vulnerable moment, the food critic shared with MMA Fighting, “I felt very expendable after I lost my contract with Bellator. This has since become a major hot topic on social media, garnering all sorts of responses from celebrities, as well as the general public.
Over time, Lee has been vocal about how he does not want to be given special treatment. However, since he has become such a recognizable figure, it’s hard to know whether or not he’s being treated specially. As a result, what he often does these days is have another member of his family place orders or walk into restaurants in his place. Several restaurants in ATL went on to state their rules, including things like limits on dine-in times, no reservations, no waiting areas, hour-long waiting times, etc.
These rules, however, were typically overturned whenever Keith Lee eventually revealed himself. Obviously, if someone was influential enough, these restaurants could break their rules, and Lee just wasn’t a fan of that. Consequently, he shared videos of every time this happened, and it was more than a few times. It happened at The Real Milk & Honey, Old Lady Gang, and Atlanta Breakfast Club, among others. Lee, hoping only to share his experiences at these establishments, always expressed that he did not condone any disrespect towards them. Regardless, chaos ensued, and Lee has said he may have to put his food tour on hold. He prioritizes honesty and transparency, and has since shared, “I’m going to be 100 percent transparent, 100 percent candid, me and my family will postpone touring if other cities are going to be like this. Every review [is] not going to be the best.”
As a result of his transparency, Keith Lee has managed to put several rising restaurants on the map. Particularly, many small-time spots have expressed their gratitude for his positive reviews, which has, in turn, boosted their clientele. However, his visit to ATL has led to many on social media to call out the pretentious façade of many restaurants in the city. Nonetheless, Keith Lee forges on, sharing his experiences, one spot after another.

On one hand, Shannon believes that such critique is what restaurants ask for, and that people shouldn’t have to sugarcoat their criticisms because of a restaurant’s history or situation. The 45-year-old was more empathetic to the businesses that work very hard to get a name for themselves and face a lot of scrutiny as a result.
Not only that, but Chad Johnson also called into question Keith Lee’s authority as a “food critic.” As a counter to that, Shannon Sharpe expressed belief that he has all the authority he needs: he goes to a restaurant, decides whether it’s good, and posts it online. Overall, their argument centered around the limit to which a venue’s service and the attitude of their workers can be criticized. They also brought up that many of these could be Black-owned and run businesses, which in and of itself opens the debate up to more discrimination and bias.

That reached its peak earlier this week as the annual ONE MusicFest took over. 2023 brought about a seriously stacked lineup, with Kendrick Lamar, Janet Jackson, Brent Faiyaz, Megan Thee Stallion, and Bryson Tiller being among the biggest acts. Tems, Kodak Black, Coi Leray, and Smino also made the list, along with the one and only Lil Kim.
