Ice Spice & Alexander Wang Collab Unveils Massive Inflatable Of Rapper In New York City

Ice Spice’s Alexander Wang collab is making itself known no matter where you are in New York City, as a giant inflatable of the rapper wearing the fashion collection strolled through the Big Apple’s streets on Saturday (April 6). Moreover, it follows her creative and curious promotional moves throughout her career so far, and lines up with her own statements on this stylish team-up. “As an artist, I’m always challenging myself on how I can contribute to culture in a way that drives things forward, and Alexander Wang is a great vehicle for that, with this incredibly bold and global campaign,” the Bronx MC stated via a press release.

What’s more is that Ice Spice’s presence in New York isn’t only due to her hometown status, her promo moves, or her generally massive profile as an artist, but also something measurable on a Richter scale. Folks may have caught her Twitter joke about causing the 4.8 earthquake that recently hit certain East Coast cities because “this a** be clappin.” It led to some pretty amused reactions online as folks debated what was the most affected area of the natural event. All we can hope for is that folks did the due diligence to identify the harm and loss caused before getting into the memes.

Ice Spice X Alexander Wang Inflatable Cruises Through The Big Apple: Watch

Elsewhere, though, Ice Spice is also standing by her love for another Bronx icon, one who many fans thought she was at odds with due to her loyalty to Nicki Minaj. But as it turns out, she and Cardi B have a lot to come together through, and this rightfully dismisses the notion that there can’t be mediators in rap beef. They recently discussed their Dominican heritage due to Bardi getting into a Twitter spat with content creator Raymonté over her racial ambiguity. Overall, it was just nice to see that things don’t have to be as combative as the headlines portray.

Meanwhile, we wonder whether there will be similar reconciliation with the likes of Latto, as they crossed paths at the iHeartRadio Awards recently. She and Spice have been at the center of beef rumors for a while now with some notable links, so it’s a bit of a tougher sell than the purely speculative nature of a Cardi B rift. Nevertheless, if you’re around NYC, you might spot this Alexander Wang collab in full, inflatable glory, regardless of whose “side” you’re on. NBA YoungBoy Takes Over Utah With “Grave Digger Mountain” Billboards, Fans React

NBA YoungBoy has gotten off to a blazing start in 2024. However, we really did not expect anything less to be quite honest. Every year he somehow is able to just crank out singles and albums like they take no time at all. Sometimes that mentality to create over and over again can lead to fans getting bored or just sick of the material. At the end of the day with him, it really comes down to who you ask. He has a lot of passionate supporters and big-time haters as well. For his last album, Compliments of Grave Digger Mountain, YoungBoy was dividing fans again.

Some were very displeased with the results, while his ruthless fan base was cheering him on. However, this was not the project fans were expecting, as a new album I Just Got A Lot On My Shoulders, was seemingly coming first. But that did not happen and it looks as if its coming sometime this month. Part of the reason for that are the new billboards that have popped up all over Utah.

Even with the album already out, this could just be more promotion to check out the record. However, some are wondering if this is for the upcoming LP. DJ Akademiks reposted the collage of photos, which includes billboards of the Grave Digger artwork on signs and public transportation across Utah. Some fans are claiming that he is the “fresh Prince of Utah.” Some also think it a little wild that he is getting all this publicity. “Imagine living in Utah and having to see YB face every day 😭, one person writes.”

What are your thoughts on these Compliments of Grave Digger Mountain billboards from NBA YoungBoy? Do you think he is just promoting this album or getting his fans ready for I Just Got A Lot On My Shoulders? Is his newest record still in your rotation? If so, which songs? What is your opinion on early teenagers rapping? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Joe Budden Stands By Theory Drake Is Being Paid To Promote Sexyy Red Amid Backlash

During a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Budden shared a theory about Drake’s relationship with Sexyy Red, suggesting that there’s more at play than mutual admiration. He argued that it’s likely that Drake’s being paid to promote the “Pound Town” performer’s music, claiming that he doesn’t believe friendship is enough to keep him coming back. The controversial take quickly earned responses from countless viewers, including Sexyy Red.

She took to Twitter/X to fire back with a simple response earlier this week. “They so dumb,” she replied to a clip of his comment. Budden has now addressed the uproar his theory caused, claiming to be “shocked” by it. According to him, Sexyy Red may not even be aware of what kind of deal their teams worked out and would be the “last person” to know if money was changing hands.

Joe Budden Thinks Sexyy Red Doesn’t Know “What’s Going On”

“I’m here to double down,” he begins in a clip from the podcast. “That whole display almost made me depressed and sad, cuz it’s like, b*tch, you don’t know. How the f*ck would you know? You think you allowed in them contract meetings? Actually, you’d be the last person to know. Poor baby don’t even know what’s going on.” Budden then went on to insist he was simply offering viewers some of his expertise on the subject. He claims he wasn’t trying to throw shade as he’s a longtime supporter of the “SkeeYee” rapper.

He also suggested that various other artists, including Ice Spice, have been offered similar arrangements but decided to turn them down. “Artists out there, find out what deals you in, and stop getting mad at me,” he later added. What do you think of Joe Budden speculating that Drake is being paid to promote Sexyy Red’s music? What about him doubling down after she called the theory “dumb”? Joe Budden Speculates Drake Is Being Paid To Promote Sexyy Red

Joe Budden says he thinks that Drake is getting paid to promote Sexyy Red as the two have posted themselves hanging out on social media numerous times in recent months. Discussing the relationship between the two on his podcast, Budden remarked: “You think he just likes being around Sexyy Red that much? I could name some more people. And this is what I don’t understand about you f*cking Drake stans.”

When Hollywood Unlocked shared the clip on Instagram, Drake fans came to his defense in the comments section. “Drake like strippers and hood females this ain’t new,” one user wrote. Another added: “Sexyy Red just seems like a genuine person maybe he really do love her vibe.” Others sided with Budden: “Facts.. and yall fall for it because it works. This man sit here and promotes the most hood and ratchet black women, while chillin with his yt Baby mama, and yt child learning 3 languages and painting picasso.”

T.I. Blasts Club For Promoting Event With His & His Son’s Pictures Despite No Booking

T.I. is a hero in Atlanta, and maybe some people depend too much on that legacy to give legitimacy to certain events. In fact, sometimes promoters and organizers might add his cosign onto pretty much anything… even without his knowledge. Moreover, Tip recently went to Buckhead on Tuesday night (November 28) to call a club out for using his picture- and that of his son, presumably King Harris- to promote their event. There’s a video of him speaking to various patrons or venue staff at its entrance, and he’s definitely quite heated.

Furthermore, this is an unfortunately common sight these days, as T.I.’s argument with King over him being an “embarrassment” went viral recently. Perhaps this narrative is what the Buckhead club wanted to capitalize on, and he was not happy at all. “N***a, you can talk to me!” the rapper exclaimed at those present. “Until then, ain’t nobody getting nothing going. Nothing! Call who you need to call, do what you need to do. Ain’t nothing happening. No money, no beers, no partying, no sections, nothing! You putting me and mine on the motherf***ing flyer, n***a, give me everything! And if you can’t, don’t play with me. I don’t know if y’all from here, but n***a, don’t play with me in this city. This my motherf***ing city, don’t play with me in this city.”

T.I. Goes Off On Buckhead In Atlanta: Watch

About that King Harris fight, though, T.I. thinks that the Internet is blowing up the whole situation out of proportion. “Fck what dis internet talkin bout…” he wrote on Instagram while promoting their new episode of Complex‘s “GOAT Talk.” “Da HFamily Tied Like a Knot. We all We Got… 4LIFE… Ima RIDE to da heavens or da depths of HELL bout my Jr.& ain’t nothing gon change that.”

Meanwhile, what do you think about this club trying to get more people in their doors by falsely promoting this family? What did you think about their joint appearance on “GOAT Talk,” which lines up suspiciously (but casually) close with their combative incident? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments section down below. As always, stay posted on HNHH for the latest news and updates on T.I.

Ralo Blocked From Social Media, His Team Announces

Ralo’s recent release from jail after a multi-year sentence gave him much reason to celebrate with his loved ones this month. However, that’s by no means to say that he still doesn’t face challenges in this return to regular life, especially when it relates to his career and connection with fans. Moreover, the rapper’s team announced that folks in charge of what’s assumedly his post-prison reformative program restricted all of his social media platforms. That means that he won’t be able to engage with fans on the Internet, and that his team is managing things right now. Ironically, via an Instagram post, the 32-year-old’s entourage let his followers know they’re working hard to connect him back to them.

“We thought that we would be able to welcome Ralo home in peace. But he has been restricted from all social media platforms until he completes his program,” the post reads. “Please know that we are getting these matters resolved at this very moment, so he can do his BIGG one. We will continue to post and engage with everyone that’s supporting Ralo ‘First Day Out‘ video and single. We will install over 100 billboards across the country [and] over 10 thousand posters. [We’ll] push his single in every club and radio station. His first welcome home party will be held in Atlanta at the Josephine Lounge. Please stay tuned for all other dates… #WelcomeHome.”

Furthermore, seemingly before this restriction, Ralo let folks know that his return to the rap game has been a great one. Most importantly, it’s been without any beef and with a lot of support. “Idk why da f**k all the blogs acting as if I got out on sum beef S**t,” he commented. “But let’s be clear – Money Bagg became Muslim since I been down. I forever put Islam over everything so it’s no beef in my heart at all for him. Boggie, Mozzy, 42, G or whoever amongst him. I’m just #TeamDolph so the internet just gone stir up s**t.”

Meanwhile, other MCs supported the Atlanta native financially throughout this ordeal. Artists like Lil Baby and others gave him cash to welcome him back. Even though things are still tough for him, he has a great network of artists to pull him out. Let’s see how long this restriction lasts. For more news and the latest updates on Ralo, check back in with HNHH.

Akbar V Promotes Upcoming Single Seemingly Dedicated To Nicki Minaj

Rapper and “Love & Hip Hop” star Akbar V is a big Nicki Minaj fan just like the rest of us, and she wants to honor that fandom on wax. Moreover, she recently took to Twitter to announce a new single coming out on August 18 titled “A Letter To My Idol.” If you’re wondering what that has to do with the Queen, it’s because her face is on the cover art with a crown placed above her head. Of course, this made a lot of people clown her overt support online, whether because they think it’s to grab attention or just because they find it cringe. Whatever the case, it’ll still be curious to check out what kind of angle she takes considering other links between them.

Furthermore, the two share a common (well, kind of) enemy in Cardi B, although Nicki Minaj and Cardi is more like a Cold War. After all, it’s mostly their fanbases and most crazed, extreme individuals that perpetuate that kind of narrative around the two reigning femcees. The “WAP” rapper and Akbar V, though, definitely have beef, with diss tracks and all. As such, for those who aren’t super familiar with Akbar and Nicki’s previous relationship, this might seem directly tied to that feud.

Akbar V’s Announcement

Most recently, Akbar V responded to an alleged subliminal on Cardi B’s “JEALOUSY.” “Been to Atlanta, but b***hes ain’t brave,” Cardi raps on the song, and the self-titled “Queen of Atlanta” thinks it’s about her. “Ain’t no b***h gonna act like my city no punk, even if you wasn’t talking about me, b***h,” Akbar clapped back in a video. “Ain’t no b***h from Atlanta no punk. We very brave in Atlanta,” and she said that a diss to anything Atlanta-related is always a diss to her.

“Them pr stunts got you begging for clicks, we don’t throw mics we throw up our fists #yougetit,” she tweeted, referring to Cardi B’s recent microphone scandal. Even though that’s at the forefront of public attention, it might obfuscate Akbar and Nicki’s past collaborations and co-signs. We’ll see just how deep this upcoming track goes into all that. On that note, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Akbar V and Nicki Minaj.

Lil Wop Shares More OnlyFans Promo Pics After Announcing Transition

Lil Wop, who blew up as part of the SoundCloud rap generation around 2016, recently shared that they are transitioning. As part of that journey (and slightly before the announcement), the 27-year-old heavily promoted their OnlyFans account. Moreover, in the days since the transition announcement, they’ve shared a couple more sultry snaps on Instagram that lead back to the subscription platform. “Come Suck A B***h Toes,” one of their captions read. Furthermore, the other two posts have “Can I be your gamer girl daddy?” and “Bad lil b***h & she ebony” as their captions.

I’m Bisexual I like Guys & Girls,” Lil Wop shared on social media back in 2022. During that time, the revelation left many fans confused, and then further divided into camps of support and unfortunate ridicule. “I’m not hacked s**t I’m gay idgaf what anybody think [for real].” Then, they told Say Cheese a little more about their taste during an interview. “Don’t get me wrong, I ain’t out here sucking no d**k or getting f***ed in the a** or no s**t like that… but I’ll make a n***a my b***h. I’m masculine, so I’m a motherf***ing king… I like power.

“I ain’t soft, sweet, or [any] of that s**t,” Lil Wop went on. “I just wanted to put that out to the world. If y’all like me… and you’re a feminine guy or a trans– it’s whatever. It’s love… I want all the love. I’ve had clout my whole life, I ain’t ever gone do no goofy s**t for no clout. I told the Internet, so that’s when the whole world found out.” In other news from the Chicago-born MC, they had a disheartening issue with their label, Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records, as their more sexual content took center stage.

“I’m Not Signed To 1017,” they revealed in a tweet. “I Got Out My Contract With Them In 2018. And I Don’t F**k With Gucci Mane He’s A Weirdo!” Regardless of what could be going on behind the scenes when it comes to their music career, hopefully they feel more fulfilled and satisfied with their current endeavors despite the hate. Pusha T Remixes “White Lines” By Melle Mel To Promote “Cocaine Bear” Movie

I mean, of course he did. Pusha T just announced his new song to promote the movie Cocaine Bear in theaters this week. Moreover, it’s a remix of Melle Mel’s classic 1983 single “White Lines (Don’t Don’t Do It).” With that classic drum beat behind it, and those gorgeous backing vocals, Push did what he does best. “All white, all winter,” he raps. “Even snow in the summer / The high fallin’ from the sky / Are you the hunted or the hunter?” Overall, it seems like it’s going to be a pretty cheeky track, especially from the current king of coke rap.

However, there is a bit of confusing information going around about this song, at least as of writing this article. While the film’s official Instagram page says the lyric video is out now, it can’t be found on YouTube. For now, it seems that the most we have of the song is a Twitter video uploaded by Push himself. Unfortunately, though, the snippet of the song mashes up with audio and dialogue from the attached trailer. Well, at least it does contain lyrics, but they’re hardly necessary for his authoritative and clear delivery. The Virginia Beach-based MC is one of the top lyrical and artistic dogs of the moment, with impeccably smooth flows and consistent writing.

Pusha T’s Cocaine Bear Track

What’s more is that this is just a side quest for Pusha T’s upcoming main mission: his Gangsta Grillz tape with DJ Drama. Recently, he spoke glowingly of his excitement for the project and credited Tyler, the Creator with revitalizing mixtape excellence. “I just feel like to me, the Gangsta Grillz and the whole mixtape culture and scene is what I’m about. That’s the purest form of Hip Hop to me,” he told Complex. “The fact that Drama is having so much success, the fact that that’s what I love in Hip Hop, I want to merge those worlds and see what happens.” Not only that, but he apparently has a solo album in the works as well.

“I’m going to be honest with you,” the 45-year-old added. “Seeing Drama’s mixtape with Tyler and how they won a Grammy, I was like, ‘Man, mixtapes really won a Grammy.’ So I’m trying to be a part of that culture as well.” Check out the Cocaine Bear track above and stick around on HNHH for the latest greatness from Pusha T.

Snoop Dogg & Kroger Slammed For Wine Promotion During Black History Month

Snoop Dogg faces criticism online for his promotion of his wine brand 19 Crimes at a local Kroger during Black History Month. Moreover, the small town grocery store featured promotional posters and messages that many found particularly insensitive. According to WSB-TV Channel 2, patrons at a Kroger on Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree City, Georgia are not happy with the promo stunts. There’s a life size cutout of Snoop promoting 19 Crimes, and next to it is the bulletin board that caught people’s ire. For example, its featured phrases like “Dream Like Martin” and “Say it loud, I’m Black and proud” struck many as a slap in the face.

Furthermore, the promotional posters stood next to bottles of bubbly from Dogg’s label and also Black Girl Magic Wine. Even if they were selling a million bucks for a dollar, people didn’t take kindly to the messages. “I just felt that it was offensive,” former president of the local NAACP Johnnie Jones told WSB-TV Chanel 2. “They really promoting alcohol. Proud of drinking wine? No. We’re proud of the Tuskegee Airmen whose shoulders I stand on.”

Kroger Customers Weigh In On Snoop Dogg’s Wine Promotion

Also, he said the store should honor leaders like Atlanta’s first Black Mayor or the first Black Mayor of Fayetteville. “We need to be thirsty for knowledge,” he added. In addition, other customers chimed in on the signs in the report. “It’s very negative,” added Michael Drummond. What’s more is that some defended them and didn’t see a problem with them. “I didn’t think there was anything wrong with showing a display of Snoop,” customer Pam Lewis shared. “I mean, if you want to drink wine whether it’s Black History Month or not it shouldn’t really make any difference.”

Meanwhile, after the backlash, store managers immediately pulled the promotion. Kroger’s corporate offices stated, “Kroger is committed to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in all we do. Our intentions are never meant to be offensive.” Still, neither the Long Beach legend nor his team responded to this as of yet. Regardless of your take, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest on Snoop Dogg.
