Future Joins Yung Booke On “Easter Fit”

Though we haven’t even hit New Years yet, Yung Booke and Future are already considering their “Easter Fit” in 2023.

Yung Booke is closing out the year on a high note with the release of his new track alongside Future, “Easter Fit.” The two rappers connect alongside ATL Jacob for the new single. It’s a glossy, aggressive banger that fuses their chemistry together. The two rappers reflect on their status through melodic flexes that find them basking in designer drip and money as a result of their success. Booke looks at how he runs his city like Big U while Future’s observations of his wealth are nonchalant, matching his effortless cool. “I’m ’bout to catch a private, I’mma be late for that,” Future raps during his second verse on the record.

Though Booke hasn’t necessarily released a ton of music throughout the year, “Easter Fit” is bound to be a smash record. Between their seamless chemistry and ATL Jacob’s infectious production, Booke and Future make an excellent pairing. Hopefully, this collaboration leads to more in the future.

It seems like this could be Future’s final feature of the year, though he’s clearly ending things correctly. The Atlanta rapper’s experienced an excellent 2022 following the release of I NEVER LIKED YOU. The project, largely produced by ATL Jacob, became one of the highest-performing albums of the year. “WAIT FOR YOU” ft. Drake and Tems helped Future earn the second chart-topping single of his career.

It’s unclear what Yung Booke and Future have in store in the new year but thankfully, they’ve left us with some heat to close out 2022. Check out the new single below.

Quotable Lyrics
Pablo Escobar with the work, do numbers, yeah, yeah
Pop me one, I woo, turn to a monster, uh, uh
Forty pointers on her wrist, I’m her sponsor, yeah, yeah
That’s the one, put that dick past her tonsils, uh, uh

Hotboii Drops Deluxe Edition Of “Blinded By Death”

It’s been a tumultuous year for Hotboii. The Florida rapper remained active for the first half of the year. Unfortunately, his issues with the law caught up with him and he was booked on racketeering charges.

His legal issues didn’t prevent him from blessing fans with even more music before the year’s done. Following the release of Blinded By Death in October, he came back with the deluxe edition. In addition to the original tracklist, the rapper tacked on eight songs, including two collaborations alongside ATL Jacob. His ability to intertwine his melodies with pain-filled bars for infectious bops shines on the deluxe even further.

“2-0 I’m on the way to the championship. We taking this thing all the way home,” he wrote in the announcement post for the deluxe.

The original tracklist for the project included 17 songs in total with a slew of appearances from prominent figures. He and Kodak Black linked up on “Live Life Die Faster,” while Lil Uzi Vert appeared on two songs, “Throw In The Towel” and “Fashion.” BIG30 also appears on the project for “In My Field.” Clearly, he’s profile has grown immensely since he had his first major breakout hit.

Hotboii first began bubbling up in 2020 after he released, “Don’t Need Time,” which eventually led to a remix featuring Lil Baby. The song later reached platinum status, cementing him as one artist to look out for.

In the last two years, he’s dropped a slew of projects including, Kut Da Fan Off, Double O Baby, and Life Of A Hotboii.

Big30 Makes A Grand Entrance On “Last Man Standing”

Big30’s exceptional run over the past two years led him to the release of his official debut album, Last Man Standing. The Memphis rapper’s latest body of work consists of 16 songs in total. Though he holds down th project on his own mostly, he brings along a few artists like Hotboii, ATL Jacob, Big Homiie G, and Lil Jairmy. However, the most significant feature comes on track 15, “Crying (Interlude),” which includes an outro from Pooh Shiesty over a jail phone.

Last Man Standing is certainly a strong statement for Big30, who has been grinding heavily since the release of King Of Killbranch.

Gucci Mane Calls For Rappers To Stop ‘Dissin The Dead’ In A New Video

Never one to mince words, Gucci Mane is issuing a directive for fellow rappers to stop speaking ill on the dead. On the new ATL Jacob-produced song, Gucci acknowledges having slandered deceased artists in the past and seems to reconcile with his poor choices of words.

“I know my tongue is a sword / I know I should be more careful with sh** that I said / I feel like I started a trend that’s never gon’ stop / They gon’ keep dissing the dead,” he raps.

Though it’s not clear which works he is referring to in the lyrics, perhaps one of the most obvious songs is a 2012 diss track targeted toward Jeezy called “Truth,” on which, he tells him, “Go dig your partner up, bet he can’t say sh*t.” The “partner” he is referring to is Pookie Loc, whom Gucci shot dead in 2005 after he attempted to rob him.

In the song’s accompanying visual, directed by Omar The Director, Gucci is seen in a graveyard, wearing a hoodie that reads “R.I.P. Trouble,” referring to rapper Trouble, who was allegedly shot and killed by a woman’s scorned ex.
