Tyler, The Creator Wants To Apologize To Eminem For His Initial Harsh Criticism Of “Recovery”

Tyler, The Creator and Eminem have a bit of a complicated relationship with one another. Growing up, the former was a huge fan of the latter. In fact, he cites him as one of his influences for getting into hip-hop. During this new interview with Maverick Carter via his show, Mavericks with Mav Carter on YouTube, Tyler talks about how the Detroit legend taught him the basics. “I love Eminem. That dude taught me how to rap. I learned how to put words together in rhythm because of some of the Eminem stuff I was hearing and storytelling and things like that”. While this adoration still remains true, as we learn later in this chat, the last several years would have you thinking otherwise.

One of Em’s biggest supporters has been uber critical over the last several years of his records, especially toward the end of the 2010s. The Death of Slim Shady MC also respected Tyler when he started getting to the industry, so when he heard these digs, Em felt bothered and hurt. It led him to eventually diss the multi-hyphenate on “Fall” which is on his Kamikaze record. Since that time, it seems these two have been pretty silent on each other up until today. After essentially just growing up and being more understanding, Tyler feels really awful and guilty for what he’s said. He specifically cites his initial harsh dismissal of Recovery, one of Em’s most personal records to date.

Tyler, The Creator & Eminem Have Not Always Been On The Best Terms

Tyler credits the Netlfix series Painkillers for helping him realize how unfair he was being to someone who was battling a lot to put out a project like that. “When [Recovery] came out I f——g hated it. Publicly was like, ‘This s*** is wack.’ Didn’t like it and after watching [Painkillers] I felt so bad about those tweets and things like that because thinking from his perspective someone like me publicly saying that stuff and him off drugs and being clean and getting to a point in life where that’s behind him and me implying, ‘Nah, this s–t is wack’”. Later, he adds, “He probably felt like I was attacking him. I thought I was just like, ‘I don’t like the music.’ He was in a different part of his life and probably felt like I was attacking him. Now I feel so bad about saying that stuff because my perspective was so limited”.

Towards the end of the discussion, Tyler hopes that him and Em can meet so he can personally apologize. “I felt terrible. If I ever see him, I want to tell him that in-person”. What are your thoughts on Tyler, The Creator wanting to apologize to Eminem for his destructive critique of Recovery? Did you know he was publicly against the Detroit legend’s project? Do you think this could help repair their up-and-down relationship? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Serena Williams Receives Apology From Paris Restaurant After Being Denied Entry

Tennis legend Serena Williams has been in Paris for the last eleven days. She is one of the many celebrities in the country for the 2024 Summer Olympics. Over the weekend, she went out to eat with her children at The Peninsula Paris, a fine dining restaurant attached to one of the most esteemed hotels in the city.

Williams took to X (formerly Twitter) to make her issues with her treatment by the restaurant known. “Yikes @peninsulaparis I’ve been denied access to rooftop to eat in a empty [sic] restaurant of nicer places but never with my kids,” Williams wrote, sharing a photo of the sign for the luxury hotel. “Always a first. #Olympic2024.” On Monday evening, The Peninsula Paris issued an apology, reaffirming that Williams is always welcome in their restaurant. They also explained their reasoning for turning Williams away, adding that the empty tables she saw were all reserved ahead of time.

Serena Williams Receives Apology From Peninsula Paris Restaurant

After Serena Williams’ original post, fans of hers showed support, especially since she was with her children. Some even accused the restaurant of racism. The Peninsula Paris’ response suggests that Williams being declined was done with much less malicious intent than some of her fans initially believed. Of course, their response also drew a mixed reaction. Some praised the restaurant for honoring the prior reservations made. On the opposite end, one of the top replies to their post asked why they didn’t tell her that while she was there. The implication in that tweet being the restaurant’s statement is more of an attempt at damage control than an accurate telling of events.

As the Olympics enter their final few days, many of the major sports have started to wind down. Gymnastics and swimming concluded over the weekend, while the final track events are set for Thursday. Fans saw Williams most at the gymnastics events, cheering on the Simone Biles-led USA women’s team as they all collected medals. Hopefully, her next visit to The Peninsula Paris goes a lot better than the last one did.

Big Sean Reveals Kendrick Lamar Sent Him An Apology For Dissing Him On Leaked Version Of “ELEMENT.”

Over the last decade or so, Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar’s relationship has been very up and down. They have worked together, but they have also sneak dissed each other on a multitude of occasions. However, based on a recent sit-down with Charlamagne tha God, it seems the Detroit MC felt there has never been any animosity. So, when Sean heard Lamar’s leaked “ELEMENT.” verse prematurely around the time of Nipsey Hussle’s passing, he felt absolutely blindsided. To backtrack a little, the first time the hip-hop community learned about this was back in late 2022. Then, about a year later, the “OG” version of the DAMN. cut would make its way onto the internet, leaving the rap world stunned.

Big Sean keep sneak dissin’, I’ll let it slide / I think his false confidence got him inspired / I can’t make them respect you baby, it’s not my job“, Lamar’s diss on Sean began. You finally famous for who you date, not how you rhyme (Boy) / Cute a** raps, get your puberty up / Then make you a classic album before you come at us“. He would then wrap things up, leaving Sean off with a warning. “Drake, your Meek Mill beef might got you gassed up / But I’m a whole ‘nother beast, I’d really f*** you up“. Sean then reveals to the Breakfast Club interviewer that him and Dot text back and forth.

Big Sean Is Taking The High Road When It Comes To Kendrick Lamar

They don’t read the messages aloud, but essentially Kendrick apologized to him, mentioning how his ego was taking over his decision to pen such scathing bars. Sean also mentioned how Lamar thanked him for the shoutout on “Deep Reverence” off of Detroit 2. That track featured a late verse from Nipsey and Sean also says that his verse was recorded following his death and that they essentially reconnected around that time to hash things out. Before moving off the subject, the “Yes” MC wanted to address everyone who was clowning him for not responding to Lamar. He says that he’s not a “clout-chasing-a** n****” and that there is no bad blood between them. However, if he felt there was, then he was going to be ready to fire back.

What are your thoughts on Kendrick Lamar apologizing to Big Sean for the diss on his viral “ELEMENT.” verse? Do you think we will see them work together in the future again after this? How do you feel about Sean’s view of the situation? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Boosie Badazz Apologizes For Dragging Yung Bleu’s Mentally Disabled Son

Boosie Badazz and Yung Bleu have been wrapped up in a heated feud for years now, and unfortunately, it doesn’t appear to show any signs of slowing down. During an interview with VladTV last month, for example, the Louisiana-born rapper clowned Yung Bleu for how his album Jeremy performed. He joked that Yung Bleu only made a couple hundred bucks off his Boosie and DJ Vlad diss track “Reading The Room,” despite seemingly investing a lot more into the accompanying music video.

This prompted a response from Yung Bleu, who claimed that he earns more than Boosie, made fun of the apartments on his property, and more. Boosie was quick to fire back, though his comments certainly managed to raise eyebrows. Aside from continuing to accuse Yung Bleu of stealing his money, and dragging his music, he also went after the rapper’s mentally disabled son.

Boosie Badazz Claims Yung Bleu Dissed His Kids First

“Maybe my kids can come over n help yo r**arded a*s son count to five,” Boosie wrote. “Go wipe all that damn slob up off your floor before y’all fall down n hurt yourself.” In another recent chat with Vlad, Boosie revealed that he received a great deal of backlash for this from his fans, who found his remarks insensitive. He apologized to everyone he offended, arguing that he only dissed Yung Bleu’s child because he dissed his kids first.

“When a motherf*cker talk [about] my kids, everything’s off limits,” he explained. “If you talk about my kids i’mma talk about your kids.” Despite this, he says he understands how his comments were hurtful, and regrets offending fans. What do you think of Boosie Badazz apologizing for dissing Yung Bleu’s mentally disabled son? Do you agree that this was the right thing to do? What about him claiming he only did it because Yung Bleu dissed his kids first? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Cardi B Responds To Joe Budden’s Apology After Putting Him On Blast

Earlier this week, Cardi B took to Twitter Spaces to put Joe Budden on blast, accusing him of trashing everything she releases and urging him to leave her alone. He responded to the explosive rant briefly on X at the time, denying cocaine allegations, lap dance allegations, and more. Budden also took the opportunity to insist that he loves Cardi and never meant to offend her, adding that he was simply looking forward to hearing her upcoming album.

He went more in-depth in a new episode of his podcast, which was released earlier today. He apologized, explaining that while he didn’t agree with everything he accused him of, he didn’t mind taking accountability for upsetting her. Budden also added that he will be discussing her moving forward despite his previous promise, claiming that he’s not willing to “let people suppress [his] voice.”

Joe Budden Addresses Cardi B’s Explosive Twitter Spaces Rant

Earlier this week, Cardi B went scorched earth on Joe Budden on Twitter Spaces, slamming him for seemingly having nothing but negative things to say about her work. “I don’t understand why I keep getting harassed by this man,” she said at the time, accusing him of urging her to drop an album simply so he can trip it to shreds. “You want to tear my project down like you tear down every one of my singles. You tear down my single, you tear down my personal life, you tear down everything I f*cking do.”

At the time, he responded with a few Tweets, claiming he wouldn’t be talking about her again. “I promise you and can assure you, i will not cover a single thing this girl does for the remainder of her career,” he wrote. Budden also went on to insist that he was genuinely looking forward to the album and to apologize for offending Cardi.

Now, he’s addressed the debacle in a new episode of his podcast. According to him, he’s still sorry for whatever he did to upset Cardi, but he doesn’t necessarily agree with everything she accused him of. “Cardi is on my list of people I’m going to love no matter what,” he explained. “If I’ve ever made a joke that’s offended Cardi B I’m sorry… But some of that sh*t man, I don’t know.”

“Cardi thinks that I have been unsupportive for two years straight,” Budden continued. “I totally disagree with that.” He went on, recounting instances he’s praised Cardi for her work, and to note that he will be covering Cardi B in the future. “I can’t let people suppress my voice,” he also added. Ryan Garcia Apologizes To Ex-Wife & Goes Partying In Hawaii A Day Later

Ryan Garcia is the subject of a lot of controversy these days, especially after some alleged nasty texts to his ex-wife Andrea Celina and claims that he trashed her home surfaced. The boxer posted an apology video on social media specifically directed to Celina. “I came on here just to say I’m sorry,” his remarks began. “Andrea, you’re the mother of my children and somebody I’ll always have love and respect for. I retract all my statements about her. She never stole money from me, she never did wrong by me, she never cheated on me. We weren’t together, so right there, she’s not a cheater. She’s a great woman.”

“In the next couple of months, you’re gonna see a change,” Ryan Garcia remarked, referring to the various reasons for which people are concerned with his behavior and mental state, whether due to substance abuse or other factors. Regardless, it seems like he’s not going cold turkey just yet, as he was recently spotted shirtless and partying in Hawaii clubs. This adds to Garcia’s recent antics and smaller headlines in comparison to his more controversial fare. For example, his recent link-up with Wiz Khalifa drew some backlash for seemingly trying to win favor back from the public, particularly the Black community.

Ryan Garcia Apologizes To His Ex-Wife

This is because Ryan Garcia recently went on a racist Twitter rant during which he used the n-word multiple times, mocked George Floyd, disparaged Muslims, and attacked other groups and individuals. This resulted in his expulsion from the World Boxing Council, which adds to his present suspension for using performance-enhancing drugs. “Exercising my authority as president of the WBC, I am hereby expelling Ryan Garcia from any activity with our organization,” Mauricio Sulaiman shared. “We reject any form of discrimination. I fear for Ryan well being [sic]. He has declined multiple attempts for our help with mental health and substance abuse.”

“I haven’t spoken to Ryan in a long time,” Ryan Garcia’s father told Fight Hub TV. “He speaks to his mother more than me. But it’s okay, he’ll call me when he wants to. I would love for him to get some type of therapy when it comes to his drinking. I’m being real. He says he can control it. I hope he can. But if he doesn’t… Get that therapy so he can stop.”

6ix9ine Issues Heartfelt Apology To Fans & Announces Crypto Venture

6ix9ine has had a lot going on in recent months, particularly on the legal front. Earlier this week, for example, it was reported that two of his vehicles were set to go up for auction on a government website. The news arrived a couple of months after they were seized by the IRS for alleged “nonpayment of internal revenue taxes.” Prior to that, he was enrolled in mandatory anger management classes as a result of an alleged assault in the Dominican Republic.

Since then, he returned to the U.S. and later set off for some shows overseas. Throughout all of this, he’s kept a fairly low profile on social media, leaving fans eager to hear any updates. Fortunately, the rapper took to Instagram earlier today to share a message with his followers. He began with an apology for his absence.

6ix9ine Apologizes For Being “Disconnected”

“I want to apologize to all of my fans for being very disconnected with you guys,” he explained. “But I’ve got some great news. I just released a Dummy Coin.” 6ix9ine continued, urging fans to buy into his latest venture in hopes of being selected for meet-and-greets in Romania, Slovakia, Germany, and more. He also teased even more dates to come, which he promises to announce in the future. Fans are certainly glad to see the performer in good spirits, as well as broadening his horizons.

Followers are also appreciative to hear the news coming from 6ix9ine directly, as various other artists have fallen victim to hackers using their platforms to promote crypto scams in recent months. 50 Cent was one of them in June. Reportedly, the hacker made a whopping $720K in minutes off the apparent rug pull. What do you think of 6ix9ine apologizing to fans for being “disconnected” from them as of late? Yung Joc Apologizes To Megan Thee Stallion After Publicly Doubting Her

Megan Thee Stallion was put through the ringer during her legal battle against Tory Lanez. Many believed that she was making false accusations against the R&B singer. These same people went after her publicly, and predicted that Lanez would prevail. Obviously, that did not happen. Lanez was found guilty and sentenced to ten years in prison for shooting Megan in the foot. Megan Thee Stallion was vindicated, and several people have come forward to issue an apology. Yung Joc is the latest.

Yung Joc went on Streetz Morning Takeover to make his apology official. He told the hosts that he was wrong for doubting Megan Thee Stallion. “I apologize for not supporting you in your moment and believing in the whole situation with you and Tory Lanez,” he stated. “I still have questions, ’cause I’m human.” The rapper also made reference to the bet. In short, he promised to shave his head if Lanez went to prison. “I think that the moment when I made the bet,” he recalled. “Although we did it in a fun kinda way–maybe, just maybe, I was out of line for doing that.”

Yung Joc didn’t stop there. The “Buy U A Drank” rapper followed through on the bet, and shaved his head in light of the guilty verdict. “I lost the bet,” he told the Morning Takeover hosts. “And somewhere in there, we may have been a little buffoonish. ‘Cause I really made a bet that this man was gon’ get off, and he didn’t. And I lost my hair. I’m sorry, Meg.” Yung Joc revealed that he was inspired to make an apology after Shannon Sharpe did the same on his podcast, Club Shay Shay.

Like Yung Joc, Sharpe expressed doubt over Lanez’s guilt. He tried to correct his mistake, however, by having Megan Thee Stallion on his podcast on July 2. He cleared the air right in front of her. “I believe the joke wouldn’t been just as funny if I would’ve left you out of it,” Sharpe explained. “So for any unwanted attention, harm, shame, embarrassment that I caused you or your family. I wanna say as a man, as I sit here before you, I apologize.”
