Woman’s Young Thug Tribute Sparks Relationship Rumors As Fans Tag Mariah The Scientist

Since Young Thug is unfortunately still behind bars, we can’t really get many life updates from him that fall outside of his RICO case alongside YSL. As such, whenever they do allegedly pop up, they always have to come accompanied by a huge grain of salt. The latest example of this is an Instagram tribute to Thugger from a woman named Daisy, writing “Free Jeffery” and a rendition of a snake in a pool full of flowers. Of course, this prompted a whole lot of relationship rumors and speculation that he had another woman in his life that wasn’t his girlfriend, Mariah The Scientist.

As such, fans tagged Mariah in this post incessantly, but this is all too unclear and vague to really call either way. We know that Young Thug has had many partners in the past, and it’s impossible to know who he’s still in contact with. The last development that we got concerning his RICO case is DJ Akademiks’ belief that he will be found guilty. Other than that and other social media discussions, not much has happened over the past week or so.

Young Thug Tribute Has Fans Asking Mariah The Scientist To Explain

However, no matter how much or how little happens in court, we know that Mariah The Scientist has always been there to support Young Thug through it all. In fact, she even formed part of a big development in this story when a jail call between the couple leaked online. They were very flirtatious during it, leading to a lot of memes on social media. Still, both took it in stride, and we haven’t gotten a whole lot of new information on their bond since then beyond Mariah’s recent court appearance to support her boo.

We’ll see what happens with Daisy and whether or not there’s some spicy tea to uncover. The most likely scenario is that we’re just exaggerating and reading too deeply into this… But you never know. Rick Ross was Yung Miami’s latest guest on the Caresha Please podcast, and they had a whole lot of stuff to discuss. Of course, they couldn’t go long without referencing the massive Drake beef that took place this year, as well as The Biggest Boss’ run-in with OVO die-hards in Canada. For those unaware, a group of Drizzy fans confronted Ross at a Vancouver festival after he played Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” resulting in a mini-brawl between the two entourages. The former City Girl asked Rozay about his claim that no one punched him despite footage showing otherwise, and he explained how the altercation could’ve been much worse for his opponents.

“You saw a video of what?” Rick Ross responded to Yung Miami’s question about the alleged sucker punch. “Like I said, Rozay felt like a drink was [thrown]. ‘Cause once I – ‘Get back, p***y n***as!’ That whole s**t cleared up.” He ran away after the punch during this incident in which various of his colleagues got a nasty beating. But the Maybach Music Group mogul elaborated on why this would’ve turned out much differently if he had some more of his usual backup.

The discussion around the Vancouver fight begins at around the 39:40-minute mark.

GloRilla Plays Off Nearly NSFW Wardrobe Malfunction During VMAs Performance

GloRilla was one of plenty of stars who hit the MTV Video Music Awards stage on Wednesday (September 11), and did so explosively. Moreover, she performed her two big 2024 hits, those being “Yeah Glo!” and “TGIF.” It was overall a pretty satisfying and fun performance, but the swift wardrobe change in between songs was sadly imperfect. A couple of minutes into the “TGIF” rendition, the “Mama” femcee’s bra strap seemed to come apart, and she had to hold onto it with one hand while rapping into the mic in the order so that she wouldn’t expose herself. That wasn’t part of the rehearsals…

Still, GloRilla kept her composure and performed throughout the song without missing a beat. The only thing that made an issue noticeable was the visual aspect of seeing her hold onto herself. Eventually, once the Memphis native was back and standing on the main stage, a backup dancer noticed the issue and fixed the issue so that she could perform normally to close the medley out. It was a pretty smooth and easily manageable malfunction, so props to her and her team for being so graceful with it. Her frequent collaborator Megan Thee Stallion also had some killer performances as well as a hosting gig, and it seems like we might get a full joint album from them in the near future.

NLE Choppa’s recent attempt to stir the online pot was pretty successful, even if it was the most predictable thing in the world. He tweeted “I’m Coming Out…” with some mirror selfies and then clarified that it was for a new song, which is queer-baiting at its finest. However, the Memphis MC isn’t doing so in the traditionally pejorative way that this term exists in. Usually, that refers to people trying to be a part of the LGBTQIA+ community by giving signals of their identity, but really they just want to reach that audience. He, on the other hand, is doing this to point out the hypocrisy and bigotry that’s still present against many rappers, as he’s made his sexuality clear before. Choppa’s baby mama Marissa took to her IG Live to speak on this matter.

“My baby daddy is not gay,” Marissa began concerning NLE Choppa. “He is not gay. *laughs* He’s not gay, he’s just trolling y’all because y’all think he gay. Or whatever the f**k, I don’t know why y’all troll him. But it’s a marketing strategy. It’s an attention-seeking thing. He not gay. I mean, if he was, that’s his preference.” Then, she went on to sing the classic “I’m Coming Out” by Diana Ross for a couple of bars. Overall, it seems like this is exactly the kind of social media swindle that everyone guessed was happening with Choppa’s tweet.

One recent fight in the reality TV show’s orbit got particularly bloody, as Tesehki allegedly knocked out Diamond The Body’s tooth at the franchise’s reunion. Nevertheless, Kemp asked Rozay to check on his friend, mocking their various parties and previous social media antics. She even roped DJ Khaled into the whole debacle, clearly using any and all links to eviscerate Ross’ close ties.

It’s not the first time that Tia Kemp has spoken about a rap figure’s possible proximity to the Diddy scandal. For example, she theorized that Joe Budden’s criticisms of him and of Yung Miami actually indicate that he’s jealous of their previous relationship. “Yeah, I think these men be mad that she had Diddy and they didn’t,” Kemp responded to the podcaster’s viral rant against the former City Girl.
