Diddy’s Former Chef Shuts Down His Allegation That Cassie Assault Footage Was Altered

It goes without saying that Diddy is in for a long and difficult legal battle. He’s currently behind bars at the MDC in Brooklyn awaiting his trial, which is expected to begin in May of next year. He’s facing charges related to alleged sex trafficking and racketeering, and if convicted, he could be looking at a hefty sentence. On top of that, he’s also facing several lawsuits from individuals accusing him of assault, abuse, and more.

Earlier this year, footage of the Bad Boy founder assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie at a hotel surfaced online. For obvious reasons, it had the internet in an uproar and was used at his first bail hearing. This week, however, his lawyers accused the prosecution of having “submitted an altered video that omitted key scenes and presented events materially out of order.” There aren’t many buying his argument, including his former chef Jourdan Cha’Taun. She took to Instagram yesterday to show her support for Cassie, and also call cap on Diddy’s allegation that the video was edited.

“Seeing @cassie be re-victimized in the press, on the blogs & through that disingenuous ‘apology’ throughout the past year. Over, and over again. Has been truly disgusting to see. I cannot in good conscience remain silent,” she wrote in part. “He was physically abusing her. For a LONG TIME! These are FACTS!!!!!!!!!!! To say that the video was edited, knowing there were WORSE BEATINGS, is truly SICK! It’s unconscionable.”

Her statement arrived just ahead of Diddy’s bail hearing, which took place earlier today. Diddy once again proposed a $50 million bail package, this time with more regulations. Various members of his family including his mother Janice Combs and his children were spotted supporting him in court. The judge did not make an immediate decision on whether or not he’ll grant Diddy bail but will make his ruling next week.

ASAP Rocky Gets New Assault Trial Date After Judge Rejects Motion To Dismiss

As ASAP Rocky fans eagerly anticipate his new album Don’t Be Dumb, which drops on August 30, the hitmaker has a lot on his plate. Aside from readying the long-awaited project, he’s also currently wrapped up in some legal drama. Rocky is accused of shooting in his former childhood friend and collaborator ASAP Relli’s direction back in 2021, and grazing his hand. He pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree assault involving a semi-automatic firearm in January.

Yesterday, legal reporter Meghann Cuniff spoke with ASAP Rocky’s lawyer Joe Tacopina outside of the courtroom, after a judge rejected the defense’s motion to dismiss the case. According to Tacopina, they’re ready to go to trial, and Rocky is looking forward to finally getting back to what matters most to him. His trial is scheduled to begin later this year.

“We understood the likelihood of success on this motion was slim at this stage,” Tacopina explained. “We’ve always been preparing for trial… So we’ll be ready for that moment.” Rocky’s attorney also went on to confirm that his trial is now set to begin on November 12, just a few weeks after it was originally scheduled. “Rocky and his family are very eager to get this thing to trial,” he added. “He’s doing great.”

Tacopina also says that Rocky is focused on his children and career at the moment, which makes sense considering his looming release date. Earlier this week, he chatted about the album with Zane Lowe for New Music Daily. 50 Cent Reacts To Diddy Allegedly Assaulting Cassie In Security Footage

Today (May 17), CNN exclusively obtained some disturbing 2016 security footage of Diddy allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie. In the footage, she’s seen waiting for an elevator in a hotel hallway, when Diddy runs out of his room in a towel. He then comes from behind her, pulling her to the ground and kicking her twice before attempting to drag her back to the room. Diddy is also later seen throwing what appears to be a glass vase at the singer. He has yet to address the newly surfaced footage.

Cassie’s lawyer, however, Douglas Wigdor issued a response via email. “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs,” he wrote. “Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”

For those who don’t recall, Cassie filed a bombshell lawsuit against Diddy in November of last year, accusing him of sexual assault, physical abuse, and more. They settled shortly after, though his lawyers insist it was in no way an admission of guilt. As countless social media users and peers share their reactions to this latest development, 50 Cent chimed in, mocking Diddy for his team’s previous responses to all of the allegations brought against him in recent months.

“Now I’m sure puffy didn’t do it, he is innocent this proves nothing ! This is what his lawyers are gonna say, God help us all ,” 50 Cent captioned the footage, which has not been included due to its graphic nature. Kanye West Explains What Happened During Alleged Bianca Censori Sexual Assault

Kanye West made some headlines last week after he became the subject of a police investigation out in Los Angeles. Originally, it was reported that he allegedly punched a man in the face. However, it was later alleged that the man had sexually assaulted Censori, which is what led to Ye’s actions. Overall, it all seemed unfortunate, and fans were immediately on Ye’s side, as you always have to protect your family. During a recent interview with Justin Laboy, Ye was given the opportunity to explain what allegedly went down.

In fact, this was the first subject that was touched on in the interview. As Ye explains, he and Censori were in a hotel, where she was looking to go to the bathroom. She alleges that a man came up to her and grabbed her. Ye never saw it go down, but he made sure to talk to security about the whole thing. Kanye subsequently revealed that he told the man to leave the premises, but he allegedly refused. That is when Kanye said that he had to put the man to sleep, which has obvious implications.

This all occurred last Wednesday night, and since that time, there has been no official update from authorities on all of this. For now, it would appear as though this is not going to lead to significant punishment for Ye. However, that could always be subject to change. Hopefully, Censori is doing okay, and these kinds of things do not happen again.

Chrisean Rock Attack Left James Wright Chanel Traumatized & Sleepless, He Reveals

Back in November, Chrisean Rock was invited to join Tamar Braxton onstage at her show in Baltimore, but things quickly took a turn for the worse. The Baddies star reportedly grew frustrated after being ushered off the stage by venue staff, as she was under the impression she’d be allowed to perform. As a result, she allegedly took her anger out on background singer James Wright Chanel by punching him in the face.

Chanel, who describes himself as an “innocent bystander,” has since confirmed that the alleged attack caused serious damage to his teeth. He’s also pressed charges against Chrisean. During a recent appearance on The Jst Us Podcast, Chanel reflected on the debacle, revealing that it continues to have a negative impact on his mental health.

“I be getting emotional when I talk about this,” he began. “I’m still trying to figure out why this happened. Why did this happen to me? I wasn’t in an argument with anyone, I wasn’t going back and forth or arguing with anyone, none of that… What I walked in on was that with other people, not me.” Chanel went on, describing how he feels the effects of the punch to this day. “I would wake up out of my sleep crying and not knowing why,” he explained. “So when I contacted the therapist she said it’s trauma, trauma will wake you up out of your sleep… The thing is I could have lost my life. You know, the right hit, you could be out of here… When I go to sleep I still see the moment.”

Nicki Minaj & Kenneth Petty Owe Alleged Assault Victim $500K

Former security guard Thomas Weidenmüller accuses Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty of assaulting him backstage at a concert in 2019, and now, he’s in for a huge payday. According to the alleged victim, the incident took place in Germany after a fan breached security and got onstage where Nicki was performing. Weidenmüller says that after the show, he was confronted by both Nicki and Petty, and the run-in left him in need of multiple surgeries.

He alleged that after Nicki “screamed obscenities” and threw at him, Petty behind him and hit him in the face. “Petty repositioned himself out of my eyesight and without warning struck me in the face,” his lawsuit reads. “Which stunned and disoriented me. Because of the surprise nature of the attack, I am not sure as to whether Petty hit me with his fist or with a weapon.” Weidenmüller claims the blow broke his jaw. He went on to sue the pair in 2022 for his medical expenses, emotional distress, and more.

Nicki and Petty ignored the suit, and sought a default judgment of $750K. At the time, the judge shot him down, but he was later allowed to seek a new judgment. Now, the couple must pay up, $500K to be exact, as they failed to address the lawsuit once again. “The pain I felt in the moment was far more extreme than any pain I had ever experienced in my life, or have felt since that day,” Weidenmüller says of the attack in his suit. “I felt a blinding pain in my head, neck, and face.”

Chrisean Rock’s Ex-Stylist Seeks $1M Over “Baddies West” Premiere Punch

It’s been an undoubtedly rough past few weeks for Chrisean Rock when it comes to her ongoing legal troubles. The mother of one is currently dealing with a lawsuit from James Wright Chanel, the backup singer she’s accused of punching at a Tamar Braxton concert back in November. He claims that the alleged assault did some serious damage to his teeth, and formally pressed charges last month. She’s also accused of assaulting Woah Vicky in 2023. Unfortunately, this led to warrants being issued for her arrest at the end of February, though she now insists they’re “being handled.”

Now, yet another one of Chrisean’s alleged wrongdoings has resurfaced along with new legal documents obtained by The Blast. In October of last year, her former stylist Irby Lashala sued her for punching her in the face at the premiere of Baddies West. In her suit, she accuses Chrisean of “assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.”

Reportedly, the stylist has claimed an unlimited case exceeding $35k, meaning and it could cost Chrisean a pretty penny. Lasha is looking to score over $1 million in damages. Her new filing says she suffered “assault; Battery; Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress; Negligence; Negligent Hiring, Supervision, and Retention; Premises Liability.” She claims that she’ll be providing “written discovery” and “deposition of defendant” by August of this year. Lashala also alleges that other parties, including Zeus Network, have been notified of the case and have yet to address it.

Chrisean Rock Seemingly Slams Alleged Assault Victim For Pressing Charges

Back in November, Chrisean Rock attended a Tamar Braxton concert in Baltimore, where things allegedly went very wrong. A backup singer for Braxton, James Wright Chanel, accuses Chrisean Rock of punching him in the face backstage. Reportedly, she had been under the impression that she’d be able to perform some of her own songs and was upset when she was promptly rushed offstage. Wright claims that he was simply standing nearby when the Baddies star decided to take her anger out on him, chipping his tooth in the process.

“Chile, I was an innocent bystander,” he explained at the time. “I don’t know what be wrong with people, I really don’t.” Chrisean initially denied any wrongdoing, chalking up Wright’s claims to “clout chasing.” Earlier this month, however, the singer decided to take things a step further by formally pressing charges.

Obviously, she doesn’t plan on coughing up any kind of cash. As social media users point out, however, she may not have a choice.

Reportedly, she had been under the impression that she would be allowed to perform some of her own songs at Braxton’s show, but was whisked offstage before she could do so. This upset Chrisean, prompting her to allegedly take her anger out on a nearby target. The unfortunate alleged victim, James Wright Chanel, accuses her of punching him in the nose and chipping his tooth in the process. Reportedly, he filed against her yesterday (February 6).

Dwight Howard Shares Statement On Sexual Assault Allegations

Over the summer, Dwight Howard was sued for alleged battery and sexual assault of a male model named Stephen Harper. Harper claims that he traveled to Howard’s house to participate in a threesome. According to him, there was a man dressed like a woman named Kitty there when he arrived, who he didn’t know would be involved. He also alleges that upon deciding that he no longer wanted to participate, Howard performed oral sex on him without consent, and forced him to reciprocate.

Howard confirmed that he and Kitty did meet with Harper to have sex, however, he insists everything that happened was consensual. Another one of Howard’s alleged former sexual partners has come forward since, corroborating Harper’s claims. According to influencer and author Masin Elije, Howard has a history of sexual misconduct. “He goes to sex parties and preys on younger men, which is why he originally why he threatened, forced, and tried to intimidate me into signing a NDA,” Elije alleged. Elije also claims that Kitty harassed them in 2018.

Now, Howard’s legal team has shared a statement about the lawsuit, denying the allegations. They claim that the suit was only filed in attempts to receive a payout. “This is a civil case that was made public for profit,” the statement begins in part. “In this case, the accuser is solely suing Dwight Howard and has refrained from suing the other party in which he claims to be involved. It is important to know that these matters were NEVER about sexual assault. This was merely about money and greed.”
