Today, the “Bongos” performer went live on Twitter spaces, calling out Budden for seemingly having nothing but negative things to say about her. Her rant appeared to be a response to Budden claiming that Cardi won’t be dropping another album on his podcast, and speculating that she’ll become a “single artist” instead.

“I don’t understand why I keep getting harassed by this man,” she said. “You want to hear my album so bad, you can pull up to my studio session. You could pull up! But I’m really sick and tired of you keeping my name in your f*cking mouth and then you’re acting like you’re keeping it there because you really want a project from me. No, you want to tear my project down like you tear down every one of my singles. You tear down my single, you tear down my personal life, you tear down everything I f*cking do. So it’s not coming from a genuine place.”

Cardi B Slams Joe Budden

She continued, urging Budden to just leave her alone, and slamming him for being overtly critical of her in particular. Cardi even accused him of having received a lap dance from her, doing cocaine, and more. As clips from the rant began to make their rounds online, Budden took to X to respond. “I promise you and can assure you, i will not cover a single thing this girl does for the remainder of her career… Peace & love,” he wrote. “I have also never gotten a lap dance from this lady.”

Budden went on to deny doing cocaine too, and to insist that he actually loves Cardi’s music. “I really just wanted an album from someone whose music i love,” he said. “She cursing me smooth out but she still hilarious lol…. I’m going to bed, i apologize to @iamcardib for whatever i did and peace and love to all.”

Moreover, fashion designer Decki alleged that the “0%” rapper emotionally abused her, and included alleged screenshots of him reaching out to an underage fan. The alleged then-underage fan in question, Sleezy Skiz, shared her own version of the story and explained how he cut things off after he rejected his attempts to have more sexual relations. As for the New York MC, he denied all these accusations but was not very specific in his address. “@zillakami is a pedophile and one of the most evil ppl I’ve ever known and robbed me of everything in my life,” Decki wrote.

Kanye West’s Attorney Wants Out Of Assault Case Due To Alleged Lack Of Payment

Kanye West is currently facing his fair share of legal woes, as he was sued by a group of alleged ex-Yeezy employees just last week. Reportedly, however, the hitmaker might need to work on finding new representation. According to MyNewsLA, his attorney Brian Brumfield recently asked to be removed from one of Ye’s cases. The case in question stems from a 2022 run-in with a fan who wanted an autograph, Justin Poplawski. Unfortunately, Ye allegedly punched Poplawski in the face as a result. Earlier this year, Poplawski filed a lawsuit against the Chicago MC for alleged assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and more.

Brumfield alleges that Ye’s refused to pay him for his work on the case, and also claims he’s refused to speak to him. “Defendant … will not speak to counsel and defendant refuses to pay counsel as well,” he wrote in a court filing on Monday (July 1). A hearing on Brumfield’s motion is currently scheduled for later this month.

Ye previously admitted to hitting the fan in an interview, claiming that he was trying to make money off of his autograph, and denying any wrongdoing. “It was 3 a.m. in front of the [Soho] Warehouse,” he said. “I’m saying, ‘You don’t know what I’m dealing with right now.’ I just finished these two songs. I came from the studio.”
