6ix9ine Bounces Back From Gym Beatdown With “WAPAE” Single Feat. Angel Dior, Lenier, And Bullin 47

6ix9ine has always been one to move differently from his peers. While that may have previously landed him in hot water – particularly during his recent gym beatdown – it’s also done him some favours and is likely why his new “WAPAE” single landed on Saturday (April 15), rather than on New Music Friday. The New Yorker went on an impressive venture around the world to film the upbeat song’s accompanying video, which 6ix9ine says he mostly shot on his iPhone.

“WAPAE OUT NOW 💚💙🧡💜💛❤,” the controversial entertainer wrote in the Instagram caption of his announcement post this afternoon. He shouted out his collaborators, Angel Dior, Lenier, and Bullin 47, before adding, “THIS VIDEO I ALSO FILMED 70% OF IT ON MY PHONE 😂🌈. THANK YOU UGANDA 🇺🇬 THANK YOU DOMINICAN REPUBLIC 🇩🇴 FOR HOSTING THIS VIDEO I HAD SO MUCH FUN. 🇨🇴🇨🇺🇲🇽🇵🇷🇩🇴🇺🇬🇳🇬🇧🇴🇵🇪🇭🇳 🇷🇴 🇸🇻 🇦🇷🇧🇷🇨🇳🇰🇾🇨🇲🇪🇨🇩🇪🇰🇿🇯🇲🇲🇩🇳🇿🇱🇾🇯🇵🇸🇰🇷🇸🇵🇦🇿🇦🇹🇹🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇺🇸🇸🇩🇪🇭🇻🇺🇮🇱🇦🇺🇳🇱🇭🇹🇸🇳🇻🇪🇨🇮🇱🇾🇵🇰🇹🇹.”

6ix9ine Has a Blast in the “WAPAE” Music Video

Even with the recent trials and tribulations of being brutally attacked, it’s obvious that 6ix9ine has been overflowing with creativity. In the “WAPAE” music video we see him smiling from ear to ear while dancing with exuberant groups of local children, also getting up close and personal in the shower with a beautiful woman. “Oh, my baby, what a rich thing / That mulatto, with that little waist / She has everything, she is very pretty / Her type is me, nobody takes her away from me,” his first verse, when translated to English, goes.

Aside from this weekend’s release, the only other song we’ve heard from 26-year-old so far in 2023 is “Bori.” That arrived on the final Friday of March and also sees him working with Lenier. See 6ix9ine’s new “WAPAE” visual for yourself on YouTube above, or add the track to your playlist on Spotify/Apple Music. 6ix9ine Draws Huge Crowd For Music Video In The Dominican Republic

6ix9ine is traveling a lot these days as he’s shooting for a lot of new music videos and material. Of course, many see this as a way to sidestep his recent gym beatdown and return to the public eye in a less embarrassing way. Regardless of those assumptions, the New York MC will likely see plenty of success for his new material, especially as it switches up what he’s usually known for. This time, he popped out at the Dominican Republic drawing a huge crowd in the neighborhood. It seems like his song is a commercial blend of pop and Latin-inspired sounds like reggaetón.

Whether you like his new output or not, it’s clear that 6ix9ine is really trying to appeal to another market entirely. Still, his previous collaborations with Anuel AA (which haven’t aged all that well considering their beef) also hinted towards other sounds that weren’t aggressive trap bangers. As such, maybe he just wants to develop other parts of his career further. Despite detractors, it doesn’t hurt that said market grows every day, from what it seems.

6ix9ine Brings A Whole Neighborhood Out For MV

Meanwhile, 6ix9ine also tapped one of the hottest artists from the Dominican Republic of the moment. In a social media clip, the rainbow-haired artist gives a massive chain to Angel Dior, a rising dembow artist known for his incredibly fast flows, nasal inflections, and often comical bars. With these new connections in the DR and other countries in the Caribbean, it seems he’s really trying to tap into his Latino roots. For those who are unaware, Daniel Hernandez is of Puerto Rican and Mexican descent. Whether it’s for the clicks or out of genuine interest, the 26-year-old might be a major player in the Latin space in some time.

Regardless, the “FEFE” artist is also trying to stay varied in his explorations. For example, he recently previewed a new video filmed in Uganda that also goes along these genre-blurring lines. With that in mind, maybe the resurgence of 6ix9ine in the music world will look much different than his come-up, which will start a heated conversation of its own. For the latest news and updates on the rapper and provocateur, check back in with HNHH.

6ix9ine Previews New Video Filmed In Uganda

6ix9ine has made headlines quite a bit recently. Sadly, most of it isn’t due to the 26-year-old rapper’s music. Last month, a group of men attacked 6ix9ine at his gym. Someone uploaded the video online, and it went viral soon after. Many claimed that the rapper deserved the beatdown due to his reputation as a snitch. However, 6ix9ine described it as “hard to watch” and “cowardly.”

Since then, 6ix9ine has used the increased attention to his advantage. He has already released a single, titled “Bori,” and an accompanying music video. About a week after its release, the rapper was already teasing the next song he planned to release. In the post teasing the song, the rapper said that whichever country was mentioned the most in the comment section is where he would film the video. Yesterday, he proved that he wasn’t joking.

6ix9ine Says Video Is Coming This Weekend

In an update about his new video, 6ix9ine told fans it would be filmed in Africa. He had earlier stated that the video would be made available on April 14. However, he said it took longer than he anticipated to get the visas. Additionally, none of the camera crew was granted visas. The rapper showed himself in the car with one other. He told fans it would only be the two of them going to Africa to film. In another video posted alongside the announcement, 6ix9ine can be seen standing outside of a Best Buy with an iPhone stabilizer. It is clear that it is going to be a low-budget operation.

Today, 6ix9ine posted yet another tease of the new video. In the caption, he revealed that the country he was filming in was Uganda. The preview was a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of the video. In it, he mingled with a large group of children, handing them each $100 bills. That seems to be a trend for 6ix9ine. According to the caption on the post, fans can expect the video to be released this weekend. What do you think of the preview of 6ix9ine’s new song and video? Let us know in the comments!

6ix9ine Is Filming His New Video In Africa

Looks like 6ix9ine is going to film his new video on location in Africa. The 26-year-old rapper has been in the news almost every day recently. Unfortunately, the headlines haven’t been speaking much about his music. Last month, a group of men assaulted 6ix9ine at his gym. The footage made its way online and instantly went viral. Many said that the rapper had it coming due to his reputation as a snitch. 6ix9ine has spoken out on the incident, calling it “hard to watch” and “cowardly.”

After the incident, the rapper decided it was time to shift focus back onto his music. He pretty much immediately began to tease new music. Soon after, released his new single, Bori. The video featured footage of him after the attack, showing his injuries. Barely giving fans a chance to breathe, 6ix9ine has already begun teasing more new music. In a post on his Instagram, he told fans that he would film his next video in whatever country was mentioned the most in the comments. Though the country remains unclear, it appears that it will be somewhere in Africa.

6ix9ine Lets His Fans Call The Shots

6ix9ine returned to Instagram to update fans on his next video shoot. He previously promised that the video would be released on April 14th. However, the process of getting visas took longer than he expected. As such, the video will likely be delayed. Additionally, 6ix9ine says that none of the camera crew have been granted visas. In his post, the rapper stands outside of a Best Buy with a camera stabilizer made for mobile phones. You have to admire his determination.

When detailing the shoot, 6ix9ine says that he is en route to Africa with only one other person. “I’m on my way to Africa to film a music video with no camera team,” the rapper wrote in the caption. “I promised you a music video 3 days from now… Realistically I won’t make that date BUT as soon as I start filming I won’t stop and give it to you what ever date I finish.” Are you excited for more music from 6ix9ine? 6ix9ine Sued By American Express For Credit Card Debt

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s woes keep piling up, despite the rapper trying to keep his head up after a group of men attacked him in a gym bathroom. Now, however, his opposition is trying to face him in court instead of the streets, as American Express just filed a lawsuit against him. Moreover, the provocateur allegedly owes the credit card company about $120,000 in the form of credit card debt, according to Radar Online. After some time pursuing repayment, AmEx resorted to legal action as a means to get the rainbow-haired MC to respond to his debt. Furthermore, it seems like he was hard to track down in the first place.

Despite initial struggles, a process server tracked 6ix9ine down on March 23, finding him at Delicias Cuban Bakery in Miami. According to Radar Online, the server spotted the artist’s blue Lamborghini and followed him inside the establishment. Then, after he confirmed his identity, he presented the 26-year-old with the legal documents. Given that it’s been about two weeks since that incident, it’s unclear how Tekashi will respond or resolve this issue with American Express.

Speaking of responses, 6ix9ine recently opened up about the gym beatdown in various interviews and on Instagram. “For me, it was tough to watch because it was so unexpected,” he told NBC 6 South Florida. “It’s cowardly. When I look at it, I just see hate, right? Imagine being someone who doesn’t know someone from a hole in the wall. I’ll give you an example: today is the first day that I meet you, I don’t know you from anywhere, I could have heard something about you that I may have an opinion on, but I don’t know you to hate you.

“Does that give me the right to attack you? To ambush you?” he continued. “I think it was cowardly. I think it was opportunistic, but again I’m not mad because I know in the streets there are no rules. I’m at a loss for words because they saw an opportunity and they took it.” Regardless of your take on that, stick around on HNHH for updates on this story and the latest from 6ix9ine.

6ix9ine Denies Staging Gym Attack, Calls Footage “Tough To Watch”

6ix9ine just participated in his first couple of interviews since a group of men attacked him in a gym bathroom, which went massively viral. Moreover, he spoke to NBC 6 South Florida on the incident, and made some interesting remarks and reflections on it. Of course, this follows his first public statement on the attack, which was a post to his Instagram page. However, in this sit-down clip, he goes into a bit more detail on his thoughts. Like his initial message, he expressed disappointment in people being so quick to pray for his downfall.

“For me, it was tough to watch because it was so unexpected,” the 26-year-old stated.

I’m at a loss for words because they saw an opportunity and they took it.” Before going on, he clarified that no part of the incident was staged at all.

“I think life just keeps going,” he concluded. “I can capitalize off of anything, I’m that talented. I don’t need to get beat up to sell a record.” Furthermore, his previous Instagram statement held similar weight, in which he stood by his lone-wolf behavior. “For 2 years I been walking around with no security,” he wrote. “Not saying I promote that BUT now you see I really never hid from anything. If you ever crossed my path or ever came to my house (you girls know who you are) ya can tell the world ‘Danny drives his own cars and be solo.’ You know how many of you people seen me in real life by myself in gas stations, supermarkets, restaurants, etc.” Considering his words, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on 6ix9ine.

6ix9ine Teases More New Music: “I HAVE THIS READY TO GO”

6ix9ine is fully capitalizing on his recent stint in the headlines. In case you missed it, the rapper has been a near-constant presence in the news recently. This isn’t because of his music, however. Near the end of March, 6ix9ine was attacked at an LA fitness in Miami. Footage that emerged from the attack shows 6ix9ine in a fetal position on the ground as he is hit and kicked by several larger men. When he is finally able to get up off of the floor, he turns to the camera and reveals his battered and bloody face. The attack isn’t surprising considering his reputation. 6ix9ine is often characterized as a snitch after he testified against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods in exchange for his freedom. It has led many to refuse to work with him.

In the aftermath of the gym attack, 6ix9ine hasn’t been shown much mercy by the internet. Many claimed that he deserved it and laughed about the incident. Lots of rappers and fellow industry members spoke out on the incident, as well. Charlamagne Tha God said it the attack was inevitable, and Boosie Badazz simply said “snitches get stitches.” 6ix9ine, however, is taking everything in stride. He made several statements on Instagram about the attack. In the posts, he clarifies that there are no rules in the street. “Anyway what happen here was nothing but cowardly,” he said. “I’m not mad this happened. In the street there’s no rules so I cant say they were wrong.” The attackers have since been arrested.

6ix9ine Is Coming To Your Country

After his highly publicized gym attack, 6ix9ine was quick to start teasing new music. He wasted no time, releasing a new single the day after the tease. The song, titled Bori, is a huge change in sound for the rapper. It features Latin singer Lenier. Both 6ix9ine and Lenier sing it entirely in Spanish. The video was released at the same time. It features lots of dramatic footage of 6ix9ine after his attack. It also shows the rapper in Cuba, where he swims, hangs out with locals, and gives money to families.

Just a week later, the rapper is ready to drop more new music. He posted another video to Instagram teasing his next song and bragging about the fact that he was trending. The video features 6ix9ine surrounded by a crowd of people, dancing and lip syncing to a clip from the new track. “I HAVE THIS READY TO GO,” the rapper wrote. “COMMENT YOUR COUNTRY YOU WANT ME TO COME & FILM THIS VIDEO THIS WEEKEND.”

6ix9ine Finally Addresses Gym Attack, Calls it “Cowardly”

6ix9ine addresses gym attack on IG

Rapper 6ix9ine is finally addressing his March attack at a Florida gym, just days after his attackers were arrested, calling the attack “cowardly,” while sharing a clip of the attack on his Instagram.

6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, shared a clip on Instagram of the attack, which occured in the bathroom of a West Palm Beach LA Fitness. He wrote the following caption:

“First time addressing the situation. For 2 years I been walking around with no security. Not saying I promote that BUT now you see I really never hid from anything. If you ever crossed my path or ever came to my house (you girls know who you are) ya can tell the world “Danny drives his own cars and be solo” You know how many of you people seen me in real life by myself in gas stations, supermarkets, restaurants, etc. Anyway what happen here was nothing but cowardly. I’m not mad this happened. In the street there’s no rules so I cant say they were wrong. Obviously it wasn’t fair but again the streets has no rules. Just imagine having nothing to do to with a situation and feel obligated to make it your business. (Very weird) I’m happy to be here still. And I want to say I love my fans. Thank you.
P.S : I never knew we respected jumping people. When did that ever become a W???”

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, three individuals have been arrested in conjunction with the attack: Rafael Medina Jr., 43, Octavious Medina, 23, and Anthony Maldonado, 25. No information is available other than that the three were being held in the Palm Beach County Jail and had their initial appearance on March 31.
