Los Angeles Rallies To Try And Save Iconic Mural

Los Angeles has long been a hub of entertainment greatness. The Lakers have called the city home since 1960. The Dodgers have been in LA since 1958. The city is also the beating heart of the film industry, anchored by iconic Hollywood. However, perhaps the city’s greatest contribution to entertainment has been the music industry.

In particular, rap and hip hop would not be the genres they are today without Los Angeles. The city was, and still is, the hub of the West Coast scene. This was particularly important in the 1980s and 1990s with the rise of the East Coast-West Coast beef that pitted New York against Los Angeles. However, a mural memorializing that iconic history is now at risk.

Fans Fight To Save Mural Featuring Snoop and Tupac

Street artist Sloe Motions took to Instagram with a passionate plea to save one of their most iconic pieces. “SAVE THE LA MURAL IN BELLFLOWER! we recently received a notice to take down this mural in the city of Bellflower. I want to reach out to everyone n help get the word spread to keep this up. This is our culture and these are our city’s, government policies n politics shouldn’t have any effect on the peoples art or expression. I’m tired of the cities tryna stop artist and make things hard on us when we are the ones giving the inspiration to the community’s n giving back in a real way. this mural is also on the owners property.” read some of the lengthy caption.

The mural in question, located on the side Speedy Auto Tint on Woodruff Avenue, depicts a number of LA icons. Most notably, these icons are legendary Dodgers announcer Vin Scully, Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, Snoop Dogg, and Tupac Shakur. A petition launched in defense of the mural notes that “At Speedy Auto Tint we are proud of our mural because we are a Latino/ family-owned small business, and we believe this mural represents the city of Los Angeles and the culture it embodies.” Bellflower city officials have stated that the mural, “Does not comply with the established mural standards in the Municipal Code, and we have received complaints about that fact.”

In case you haven’t noticed, Post Malone has lost a whole lot of weight. Overall, this has led to a lot of speculation from his fans. Moreover, he has been dancing in some unique ways on stage, which has furthered some of this speculation. Mostly, people think that Posty is using drugs. This has subsequently led to a whole lot of concern for his health. However, the artist has largely avoided these concerns. Fans haven’t really heard from him as he continues to just do his own thing. On Friday, however, Malone finally addressed his weight loss and explained how he’s been able to do it.

“Hello everybody, i hope you’re having a great night. i wanted to say that i’m not doing drugs, i’ve had a lot of people ask me about my weight loss and i’d suppose, performance on stage,” Post Malone began. “I’m having a lot of fun performing, and have never felt healthier. i guess dad life kicked in and i decided to kick soda, and start eating better so i can be around for a long time for this little angel.”

Subsequently, Post Malone also spoke about how he has largely been absent from social media. In the future, he is hoping to change that, as he knows his fans want to hear from him more often. “I just wanted to say hi, and hopefully i’ll be posting more on here, my brain is in a super dope place, and i’m the happiest i’ve been in a long time,” Malone wrote. “If you’re having a hard time or need some love, i can say that you’re loved more than you know, and keep fucking crushing it.” Overall, it is great to hear from Posty, and it’s even better knowing he’s doing so well for himself.

Jonathan Majors Accuser Granted Protection Order

On March 25, actor Jonathan Majors was arrested in New York City. The 33-year-old, known for Creed III and Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania, was charged with misdemeanor strangulation, assault, and harassment. The reported victim was his girlfriend, who has not been named in the interest of her privacy. However, more women have since come forward with similar accusations.

Once a star on the rise, Majors has now become an industry pariah. He is reportedly a free agent after being dropped by his management. Furthermore, he has been removed from several upcoming projects. Notably, Marvel has not yet released any information as to whether he will remain as Kang in the MCU. Majors has maintained his innocence throughout the proceedings. Additionally, Majors alleges that he was the victim, not the woman pressing charges. However, there now there has been a major update in his case.

Manhattan DA Grants Protection Order

Majors’ alleged victim in the March 25 assault has been granted a temporary order of protection. Colloquially known as a restraining order, a temporary order of protection prevents an alleged abuser from contacting their alleged victim. It is often put in place to protect reported victims prior to trial proceedings. “Today a judge granted a Full Temporary Order of Protection for the victim, per the People’s request and with the consent of defense counsel,” Manhattan District Attorney’s Office press secretary Doug Jones said in a statement.

A statement was also issued by Majors’ attorney, Priya Chaudry. “This is standard in cases such as this, and we consented because Mr. Majors wants nothing to do with the woman who assaulted him.” Chaudry additionally said that we recently provided a forensic medical opinion from a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Doctor and Trauma Specialist who has examined the photos and videos of the woman and concludes, without hesitation, that the woman did not have any injuries at the nightclub and the injuries she later sustained did not come from Mr. Majors”. Majors is set to make two more appearances in 2023, after Creed and Ant-Man. Loki Season 2 is set for release in September. Meanwhile, Magazine Dreams, where Majors plays a bodybuilder, will premiere in December. Majors is due to appear in court in relation to the charges on May 9.

Here and there, Post Malone has dealt with rumors about drug use and other worrisome health issues. His recent weight loss has fed into that some, and now Malone laid his cards on the table and shared how he’s doing.

In a new Instagram post, Malone wrote, “i wanted to say that i’m not doing drugs, i’ve had a lot of people ask me about my weight loss and i’d suppose, performance on stage. i’m having a lot of fun performing, and have never felt healthier. i guess dad life kicked in and i decided to kick soda, and start eating better so i can be around for a long time for this little angel. next up is smokes and brews, but i like to consider myself a patient man… lol!”

He added of new music and where he’s at mentally these days, “i’ve spent a bit in the studio lately working on new music, and am so excited to share it with you, thank you for your patience and support y’all. you make my heart beat. i just wanted to say hi, and hopefully i’ll be posting more on here, my brain is in a super dope place, and i’m the happiest i’ve been in a long time.”

Logic Calls Kanye West A “F***ing Moron” In New Vlog

Logic is an artist who is no stranger to being criticized on the internet. Overall, there have been moments in his career that have left people cringing. However, the artist has always taken it in stride. Although, there are certainly times when he has tried to clap back at people, only to have it backfire. Now, Logic takes a much different approach to the internet. As detailed in a new vlog called “How I learned I can’t control the internet,” the artist explains his new mindset.

At one point in the video, the rapper reveals how he only gets richer when people talk about him. Moreover, he even brings Kanye West into the fold, as he speaks on the fact that he has never worn a “White Lives Matter” shirt. Needless to say, it is obvious who Logic is talking about. “It’s kinda dope to realize the more people talking about me, positive or negative, makes me more rich,” Logic began. “Only I’m not like evil, so I’m not out here spewing bullshit out of my mouth or wearing White Lives Matter t-shirts or some dumb shit like that. Fucking moron.”

Logic Speaks On Kanye West

The artist then goes on to clarify his comments, noting that he loves Kanye and is still a fan. Additionally, if he were to meet the artist today, they would simply have a nice conversation, and that would be that. “Love Kanye by the way, [just a] stupid fucking idea,” he said. “Let me preface that. I love Kanye West I think he’s a genius I wouldn’t be here without him. I can have a fucking opinion, and as long as my opinion is respectful and from the heart then it is what it is.” Although Logic would have stayed quiet in the past in order to secure a Kanye verse, he no longer goes by that philosophy.

Following his return to the game from a brief retirement, Logic has certainly gone through a spiritual shift. Moreover, he seems to be making the music he wants, which has led to a better product. Kanye West is someone who has been shrouded in controversy over the last year or so. Overall, this is due to West’s bizarre need to show love to Nazis. Moreover, his constant assault on Jewish people was just very weird and unbecoming. It is perhaps one of the quickest downfalls we have ever seen from a legend. Even his biggest fans couldn’t rock with this latest version of Ye. For an artist who is loved so blindly by his fans, it was clear that he had gone way too far. Now, however, he seems to be keeping to himself as he lives life with his new wife.

For instance, he has made it clear that he will not be running for President in 2024. Additionally, he has told people directly that his goal is to be left alone, for the foreseeable future. Needless to say, you will not be hearing from Kanye West, anytime soon. Although, that is probably for the best. That said, there have been moments in which Ye has been seen out in public. In the image up above, Kanye is seen looking a bit disheveled. Overall, his outfit is also in dad mode. Firstly, he has a white long sleeve shirt underneath a t-shirt. This t-shirt features an illustration of a Husky dog. Furthermore, Kanye’s beard looks a bit out of sorts as he stands in front of the camera awkwardly. It is unclear where this picture came from, and where West was when it was taken. Either way, this is one of the rare instances in which we have seen Kanye since his Alex Jones and Nick Fuentes debacles.
