Steve Harvey Reportedly Fires Social Media Manager Over Divorce Rumors, Viral Comedian Tweet

Earlier this week, reports began to surface claiming that Steve Harvey and his wife were going through a rough patch. Reportedly, Harvey and his wife, Marjorie Bridges, were headed for a divorce after Bridges cheated on the TV personality. However those rumors have since been debunked, at least according to Nigerian Senator Ned Nwoko, who claims to have spoken to Harvey personally. “When we read about our friend Steve Harvey and his lovely wife having issues, we had to contact Him and He confirmed that he and his wife are very much okay and it’s all fake news and should be disregarded. The family is happy together and we wish them all the best,” Senator Nwoko wrote on Instagram.

The other Harvey-related incident centered on a now-deleted tweet that appeared on Harvey’s official Twitter account. “A comedian you don’t find funny at all?” the tweet simply read. The post received a lot of backlash, with a lot of people calling it classless and musing on why Harvey would post such a negative question. However, Harvey himself has now spoken out about the week’s events, revealing that he had to fire a member of his team.

“Somebody that works for me on my Twitter put a statement out that was totally negative. I gotta take responsibility for it ’cause they work for me, but the engagement was talking about ‘name a comedian you don’t think is funny.’ Why would I do something like that?” Harvey said in a video. “That don’t even make no damn sense. My whole brand is to be motivational, and I’mma turn around a say something like that? You don’t know where these young people [are] at in they career, man. They could be coming up or anything. I’m all about positivity; I would’ve never done nothing like that.”

Harvey went on to say that after confronting the employee in question, the tweet was defended as being necessary as Harvey needed “engagement”. Furthermore, he ends his video by joking that the individual now needs to find “employment” instead. Harvey and Bridges have been married since 2007. It is Harvey’s third marriage and by far his most successful. Harvey was with his first wife, Marcia, for 13 years between 1981 and 1994. He then married Mary Shackleford in 1995, with the pair divorcing in 2006. Additionally Bridges and Harvey celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary (wax) earlier this year.

Digga D’s Fourth Album “Back To Square One” Is Here

UK rising rap phenom Digga D returns with another new project for the fans who have been riding with him. Back To Square One is a 15-song 39-minute-long offering that provides plenty of solid tracks throughout. The genres dabbled in here include UK drill, British hip-hop, and elements of trap. Only two features appear on Digga D’s latest effort with Potter Payper rapping on Facade. Then, M Huncho is a feature on song eight called “Baby Mums Crib.”

The opening title “Fighting For My Soul” is one of the best moments here, setting up the album for the rest of the way. One of the best sequences of bars comes from the first verse where Digga D raps, “So, I’m mindful when I talk, ’cause if not, they’ll cancel me to be spiteful, it’s all a cycle / My head’s chipped, so I smoke my weed -ital / Need a break from prison like Michael / It’s all about survival, ask my rival / Shoot on arrival, make his destination final.” There is other quality here such as the most popular track “Energy” with over 26 million streams.

Digga D Explains The Meaning Behind The Project

Besides providing heat on Back To Square One, Digga delves into the inspiration behind it. In a sit down with Apple Music he says, “Before drill, there was rap, and I’m taking it back there for this project.” He continues, “But there’s a double meaning, too. I’m also going back home to Powis [Square] in West London, where I’m from. A lot has changed for me as I’ve grown up and learned different things, and I have more faith now. Not that I never had any before, but I feel like I’m more in tune with myself now, and you can hear it.” Digga certainly sounds like he has a new mindset here and its prevalent from the start.

Azealia Banks continues to share her negative thoughts about other celebrities with us via Instagram, but the New Yorker has added a notable amount of positivity into her tirades lately as well. Earlier in the month she gave Cardi B her flowers while laying into others like ASAP Rocky and Rihanna. Now, Banks is sharing her thoughts on another rap diva – Nicki Minaj – who is hard at work readying her Pink Friday 2 album for a fall debut.

“Like I would never even think you’d like something like this,” Azealia wrote on her Story when reposting an image of the Queen of Rap modelling a revealing outfit. “THIS IS THE BEST LOOK I HAVE EVER SEEN [YOU] IN. EVERRRRRRR OKAY? Nicki I have never seen you this comfortable in your own skin… I’m not even trying to shade you… But you have never ever looked this chic, stylish, sexy, at ease,” the controversial lyricist’s praise continued.

As HipHopDX notes, others in the limelight were less lucky when their turn came to face Banks’ wrath. Skai Jackson, Franz Ferdinand, CupcakKe, and Primary Talent International CEO Matt Bates all felt the heat as the multi-talent called them out for hypocritical and wannabe behaviour, among other things. In the comment section of that post, a brave user asked Azealia to share her thoughts on Beyonce’s RENAISSANCE tour, which she certainly didn’t hold back on.

“I stayed home. I decided I didn’t want to see Giselle and Blue Ivy’s cabaret,” her reply began. “I wasn’t leaving the comfort of my mansion to hear her sing Mary J. Blige covers and literally watch the same show I can watch on Instagram. In a big way, I kind of got over her that night. For a woman who’s done so much nasty stuff behind the scenes to stifle other Black female artists yet STILL is too afraid to come at Adele for ki’ing on her little ‘Lemonade’ stunt and tearing a Grammy in half while she’s in the front row pregnant???”

IShowSpeed Celebrates 20 Million Subscribers By Taking A Dive Into His Setup

IShowSpeed recently reached 20 million subscribers on YouTube, and he celebrated the milestone during a livestream. As he waited for his channel to finally hit 20 million, some of his supporters decided to start unsubscribing in order to troll the streamer. Luckily, he was eventually able to reach the coveted subscriber count, and chose to celebrate in a pretty unconventional way. He got up from his desk and climbed up onto a dresser that was situated against the wall behind him, delivering a dramatic message to his viewers.

“Goodbye chat,” he began, while standing on top of the dresser. “This is what y’all wanted. Never again. Remember – live to the fullest. Live to the greatest. You will be the one. Nobody loves you like how they did. That’s 20 million right there. And, that’s what I’m talking about. This is what we do. We presume and keep going. And, I love y’all boys.” He then shouts a couple of times as confetti is shot into the air, before taking a dive into his gaming setup.

The stream then freezes on an image of the 22-year-old mid-jump for a few seconds. The webcam eventually cuts out, and the streamer is heard making some crying sounds. Someone then asks him if he’s okay, and when he doesn’t respond claims they’re going to call 911 before the stream ultimately ends. Though the jump was probably pretty painful, he appeared to be joking about actually being seriously injured, and is likely doing alright.

The milestone comes shortly after IShowSpeed made headlines earlier this month for accidentally exposing himself during a livestream. The incident was a clear breach of YouTube’s terms of service. Luckily, he was able to avoid being banned on the platform. He later addressed the incident, calling it “embarrassing” and revealing that it’s had a negative impact on his mental health. “At the end of the day, I’m still a human being, bro,” he told his audience. Jaylen Brown Becomes First Active NBA Player To Appear In The Big3

Boston Celtics star, and current richest man in the NBA, Jaylen Brown traded the NBA for the Big3, at least for a day. The superstar guard was confirmed to be playing in the All-Star Game of the league operated by Ice Cube. Furthermore, it makes Brown the first active NBA player to appear in the league in any format. Additionally, Cube has repeatedly blasted the NBA for the sake of support of his 3×3 summer league.

“Jaylen Brown is my hero. He’s making a humongous statement by being the first current NBA player to play in a BIG3 game. By suiting up for our All-Star game tomorrow, he’s doing everything in his power to help the league succeed. Salute. Forever grateful…,” Cube wrote on Twitter on August 25. The All-Star Game was part of the celebrations for the Big3 Championship, which was held in London on August 26. The Season 6 title was later won by Enemies, coached by Gilbert Arenas.

Jaylen Browns Speaks On Big3 Participation

“Having some fun for charity, giving back to the community, and supporting,” Brown told sideline MC Brian Scalabrine about why he took part. “It’s amazing being in this environment,” said Brown. “Shout out to London, shout out to the O2, excited to give back to charity, excited to be a part of this, and I appreciate you, Ice Cube.” Additionally, Brown put up 9/5/2 in Team Big’s loss to Team 3. Brown was playing to help local youth charity London Youth. Furthermore, after the game, Cube announced that the league would be matching Brown’s donation.

Cube reiterated his thanks to Brown while hanging out beside him during the interview. “I was blown away. I asked him if he was sure if he wanted to make this move, and he was like, ‘Yo, I want to do this for the game, for the players, and it’s a big move for the league’, so I’m excited — this guy is my hero right now. We’re blessed to be in a position where we can give back. Me being able to set the stage for the greatest athletes in the world — just call me the chef.”
