LeBron James, Joe Biden, and more have all shared congratulatory messages for Caitlin Clark on social media after the Iowa star passed the LSU and NBA legend Pete Maravich to become the all-time NCAA leading scorer. She did so during her last regular-season home game on Sunday. No. 6 Iowa defeated No. 2 Ohio State 93-83.
“CONGRATS @CaitlinClark22 on becoming the All-Time leading scorer!!” LeBron James wrote on Twitter afterward. President Joe Biden added: “Congratulations to Caitlin Clark on making history as the NCAA all-time leading scorer. With 3,685 points and counting, you’ve made your school proud.” Travis Scott, who was in attendance at the game, wrote: “Might need that #22 jersey tonight!!!!!”

Caitlin Clark Celebrates Win Over Ohio State
“It’s really crazy to think about,” Clark said of the record after the game. “Honestly, if you would have told me that before my college career started, I would’ve laughed in your face and been like, ‘No, you’re insane.’ I’ve always been able to score the ball, but I don’t think people really understand how many amazing players have come before me and been able to score the ball and do it at such a high rate and for teams that are really, really good.” Check out some of the responses to her record-setting career below.

Boosie Badazz reflected on his recent run-in with a stalker on social media, over the weekend, revealing that the woman had been following him for months. He says she even threatened to shoot up his house at one point.
“I’ve been going through that four months– probably five months. That’s about like eight times coming and not wanting to leave. She crazy. Crazy ain’t the word but…” Boosie said. From there, he explained she threatened to shoot up the house, but he came to learn she only had BB guns.

The comments come after Boosie shared security footage of law enforcement arriving at his front gate to deal with the stalker. “Yeah, we got her ass now, look,” he said while recording the incident. “Crazy stalker b*tch. Other day, she pulled up, jumped out with two BB guns, talkin’ bout she finna spray the house. The day before that, after that, she jumped out again with two BB Guns and tried to walk up on [his son] Tootie. Last week, she came again, talkin’ bout we married and I bought her $20,000 earrings. A month ago, she did some more sh*t. Now, today, she come block my driveway off so nobody can come through, talkin’ bout she ready to die, with her kids in the car. 50 Cent Reacts To Guilty Verdict In Jam Master Jay Murder Trial
50 Cent reacted to the guilty verdict in the murder trial of Jam Master Jay on Instagram, last week. “Welp that’s all folks,” he wrote with a shrug emoji. “R.I.P Jam Master Jay.” The two defendants, Karl Jordan Jr. and Ronald Washington, were found guilty on all counts. They face a minimum of 20 years behind bars, with a maximum of life.
Prosecutors claim Jay acquired 22 pounds of cocaine but cut Washington out of a deal to distribute it. From there, he and Jordan began hatching a scheme to kill him in response. On October 30, 2002, they accosted him in a recording studio and executed him with two fatal gunshots at close range.

50 Cent Attends NBA All-Star Game
United States Attorney Breon Peace addressed the verdict in a statement to EDNY, as noted by HipHopDX. “More than two decades after they killed Jason Mizell in his recording studio, Jordan and Washington have finally been held accountable for their cold-blooded crime driven by greed and revenge,” Peace said. “That the victim, professionally known as Jam Master Jay, was a Hip Hop icon and Run-DMC’s music was born in Hollis, Queens, in this very district, and beloved by so many, adds to the tragedy of a life senselessly cut short.”

Dee-1 Reflects On Having Suicidal Thoughts After BET Cypher
Dee-1 says he dealt with suicidal thoughts after his performance in the BET Cypher back in 2014. He explained on The Breakfast Club, Friday, that he was unsure he’d ever get another opportunity to showcase his skills.
“Right after that BET Cypher I started going to therapy, bro,” he shared. “I was signed to RCA at the time. You on the BET Cypher and you think your life about to change after this night…Nothing changed after that night. After that, I felt like I blew my shot. It started messing with me mentally to where I was like, ‘Damn, I kinda don’t even wanna be here no more. Not in the industry, but on this Earth…When I started realizing I was having suicidal thoughts behind feeling like I’m professionally a failure, I realized I couldn’t separate David from Dee-1 at that point. And that was unhealthy.”

Legendary NFL Reporter Chris Mortensen Dies At 72, Peyton Manning & More React
Chris Mortensen, who reported on the NFL for over three decades and made frequent appearances on Sunday NFL Countdown, Monday Night Countdown, SportsCenter, and more programs, has died at the age of 72. While a cause of death has not been made public, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 throat cancer in January 2016. He stepped down from his role at ESPN “to focus on my health, family and faith,” last year.
In response to the tragic news, many voices in the sports world are speaking out on social media. Peyton Manning wrote on Instagram: “We lost a true legend. Mort was the best in the business and I cherished our friendship. I trusted him with my announcement to sign with the Broncos and with the news of my retirement. I will miss him dearly and my thoughts and prayers are with Micki & his family. Rest in peace, Mort.”

T.I. Speaks On Younger Generation Of Hip-Hop Artists
T.I. compared the proliferation of hip-hop artists from the new generation to the NBA offering anyone who knows how to pick up a basketball an invite to the league. He explained that the talent on display ranges from “exceptionally dope” to “just alright” during an appearance on Shaquille O’Neal’s podcast, The Big Podcast with Shaq.
“This generation reminds me of every other generation,” he began. “You got some people who are exceptionally dope, and some people who are just alright. You know what I mean? But it’s a lot more of it to choose from now. I feel that, actually, what they’ve done with music is equivalent to if they were to open up the doors of the arena and say, ‘anybody think you can play basketball? Come on out the stands out here to the floor. Here go you a jersey, man. Get in the game.’”

While he respects it, he isn’t interested in doing the same. “So many of my contemporaries — like Nelly, you know, he got a piece of Charlotte — and Usher’s got a piece of Cleveland,” he said. “You know, people be asking me, ‘Would I ever do it?’ And I don’t think I would, you know? Because I just can’t see me taking so much of my money, investing it in something, and I can’t do what the f*ck I wanna do. I just can’t imagine that.
