Dee-1 Reflects On Having Suicidal Thoughts After BET Cypher

Dee-1 says he dealt with suicidal thoughts after his performance in the BET Cypher back in 2014. He explained on The Breakfast Club, Friday, that he was unsure he’d ever get another opportunity to showcase his skills.

“Right after that BET Cypher I started going to therapy, bro,” he shared. “I was signed to RCA at the time. You on the BET Cypher and you think your life about to change after this night…Nothing changed after that night. After that, I felt like I blew my shot. It started messing with me mentally to where I was like, ‘Damn, I kinda don’t even wanna be here no more. Not in the industry, but on this Earth…When I started realizing I was having suicidal thoughts behind feeling like I’m professionally a failure, I realized I couldn’t separate David from Dee-1 at that point. And that was unhealthy.”

He continued: “And for the first time in my life, I went to therapy. Because I was like, talking to my friends, that ain’t getting it at this point. Talking to my grandma, rest in peace, that ain’t cutting it at this point. So therapy really did help me, but ultimately even more than therapy was understanding my God given purpose. I know who my creator is, I know why I was put here, and I was put here to glorify him. So who am I to think that my whole life is a failure because one moment didn’t elevate me professionally?” Check out his full conversation on The Breakfast Club below.

Cardi B Addresses Suicidal Comment On Social Media

Even for the strongest and most resilient of celebrities, online hate and criticism can be a very difficult thing to deal with. That’s what recently happened to Cardi B, who said she was having a good week until she started focusing on disparaging remarks against her online. Recently, she took to social media to address some concerning tweets she let out about her mental health and response to a lot of backlash. Moreover, this comes after various users tweeted some nasty things at the Bronx rapper. Even though she’s no stranger to attacks like these, they still don’t get any easier to handle, or any less visible.

“Cardi B the only Mexican I know that don’t work hard,” one hater blasted her with. “Hope you and your mom die,” she replied harshly, as she was on a response spree with many of these comments. “Keep wishing death on people and watch how it come back on you,” another user fired off at the 31-year-old online. “Idgaf f**k y’all,” she clapped back. “Y’all can call me Mexican bring me down, hurt my feelings talk s**t bout everything. This why I don’t release music.” “I just wanna put a bullet in my head,” Bardi expressed in another tweet, which really worried fans. “We burst,” she shared in what seems like an IG Live video clip, addressing her suicidal and aggressive tweets. “When I burst, I’m very outspoken. When I have one of my bad moments, I will literally get here and curse out everybody and f**k them.

Cardi B Speaks On Her Concerning Tweets

“‘I want you to die, b***h I want to die, I don’t give a f**k!’” Cardi B continued. “That’s just how I just be feeling at the moment. I was just very overwhelmed yesterday, I was very sad. I just felt like I was just having such a good week. And then I felt like, when I got home, and I just started paying attention to so much s**t that people was saying about me and all the funny s**t about me, I just started getting upset about it, I just wanted to burst. I just had one of those moments yesterday. You know, like, when you have one of those moments that it’s just like ‘B***h, I don’t even wanna be here.’ Like, mentally, I just don’t wanna be here. But, like, you know what? I just feel like I needed one of those days where I let it out. Where I just wanna vibe and say a lot of s**t.

“Even today, I felt a little bit down. I was a little overwhelmed, I was crying so much this morning,” she continued. “But I feel a little bit better. Me and my sister, we went out and chilled. Went to The Bronx, went to a little lounge, we drank a little bit, we took some f***in’ pictures. Tomorrow, I’m just gonna take the day off, because on Friday, I have to go out of town. I want to chill with my friends because my friends always cheer me up. That’s the good thing about me. I have a lot of friends and I have a lot of family that will cheer me up.” For more news on Cardi B, log back into HNHH.

Cardi B Wishes Death On Critic In Unhinged Rant

Cardi B is one of the more volatile figures in hip-hop. Over the course of the rapper’s career, we have seen her go from bubbly and wacky, to getting ready to throw hands. She is definitely someone who you have to keep a close eye on because things can turn south quickly. We saw it unfold during the microphone-throwing incident in Las Vegas. She was interacting well with the fans and kind of being playful by asking them to douse her with water. But, then Cardi lashed out and got extremely hot.

This new story of Cardi B going off the rails takes place on social media. It began just hours ago with a random fan sending a tweet. It reads, “Cardi the only Mexican I know that don’t work hard.” The MC came across it and we just our readers know we do not condone any of this behavior. She says, “Hope you and your mom die.” Then, another fan chimed to Cardi’s response telling her to be careful what you wish for, essentially, “Keep wishing death on people and watch how it come back to you.”

Cardi then claps back. “Idgaf f*** y’all… y’all can call me Mexican, bring me down, hurt my feelings, talk s*** bout everything this why I don’t release music.” It does not stop there, though. She then ends her unhinged ranting with a suicidal-like message. “I just wanna put a bullet in my head.” That last message has been removed from her account. Fans in the theneighborhoodtalk’s post are fed up with her acting like this. One person says, “Being suicidal then wishing death on someone is so…” Another says, “Another weak-minded celebrity who asked for the fame that they can’t handle.” It will be interesting to see how this all unfolds from here.

Drake Bell Says Pedo Claims Are “Literally Going To Kill” Him

Despite the impending release of a new album, Drake Bell’s personal life is the reason he has been making headlines recently. The former Nickelodeon star was reported missing last week, only to be found safe a few hours later. While Bell joked about the incident, his brother claimed that Bell had expressed suicidal intentions the night before. Bell’s brother also went on to claim that Bell’s suicidal demeanor stemmed from a custody battle.

But now Bell is facing more problems, specifically on Twitter. Hours after learning his wife was filing for divorce, Bell was the target of a mass trolling. In 2021, Bell pled guilty to child endangerment charges and was sentenced to two years probation. The charges stemmed from claims that Bell had entered into a years-long online sexual relationship with a minor. The then 15-year-old girl also alleged that she had performed oral sex on Bell at a concert in 2017.

Bell Invokes Suicide As He Hits Back Against “Pedo” Claims

Drake Bell’s bad few days on Twitter began with a Spanish-language tweet about Mexico. On April 20, Bell posted a tweet that translated to “Finally in Mexico! I need to make it my home. It’s so much better than the US!” However, Bell then chose to respond to someone who replied with “No way, you just increase gentrification.” The following day (April 21), Bell promoted his new song, “Going Away”, as well as Jennette McCurdy’s biography. In replies to his promotion of the book, one user wrote “and i hope you stop touching kids & beating women, but here we are :).”

The tweets calling Bell a pedophile and molester continued throughout the rest of the week. However, the one that has caught people’s attention was posted back on April 19. A now-deleted tweet presumably called Bell out. Another user replied, “don’t forget he’s a pedo.” A third user defended Bell saying “he’s not though.” Bell responded to the third reply, saying “Do a second of research This is what I have to live with everyday they are literally going to kill me. Bloods on their hands…” Drake Bell was not required to register as a sex offender as part of his guilty plea. However, the language directly invoking suicide, especially after the allegations last week, was deeply concerning for fans.

Cardi B Details Having Suicidal Thoughts: “I Wanted To Be Dead”

Hollywood Unlocked founder Jason Lee has set off a new venture with help from Cardi B. The Jason Lee Show arrives courtesy of Revolt and recently shared its premiere episode with the Grammy winner. This conversation was anticipated due to Lee and Cardi’s personal friendship, and the rapper detailing opinions that she may have otherwise avoided with other platforms.

There are several takeaways from Cardi’s interview, but fans paid close attention to her responses about ongoing harassment. “I’m afraid to be vulnerable because people wanna say, ‘Oh, you looking for sympathy,’” she said.

She said she “couldn’t escape” her mind. Offset did his best to help by taking her away from the chaos, including a vacation to the Dominican Republic.

Cardi brought up the false reports about her having herpes. This was later proven to be untrue in court, but the rapper said it was terrible seeing the world take the rumors as factual.

“I wasn’t a celebrity,” she added. “I was somebody that really wanted to be dead.” Cardi said during this time, it was difficult to be an attentive mother or wife. “It just made me cry. It was a point that I felt like I was so weak of a person that I was [too] weak to be a mom.”
