The room within the Bellagio bar reportedly accommodates the global superstar as he continues his long-running Las Vegas residency. The Pinky Ring opened over Super Bowl weekend, with a star-studded lineup of attendees including Janelle Monáe, Gayle King, Lady Gaga, T-Pain, and many others. Opening night also featured live music from Bruno Mars and his in-house band The Hooligans. The Bar Has Replaced The Lily Lounge

Despite Lily’s popularity, the locale had grown stale in recent years and was in desperate need of a redesign. Luckily, The Pinky Ring is much more than a bare-bones reskin, as the venue has been completely overhauled with mellow tones and center-stage lighting, VIP champagne rooms, and a host of inspired interior decorations.

For a more personal touch, Bruno Mars has adorned the hallways of The Pinky Ring with his own Grammy awards. This impressive feat should come as no surprise, as Mars has accumulated a dozen of the achievements throughout his illustrious career. Earth-toned conversation pits and wood-paneled walls allow for an intensely personal vibe by the bar, which holds a warm penthouse-style aesthetic, perfect for those looking to engage in a memorable party reminiscent of classic Hollywood parties and entertainment industry mixers.

A mix of musical guests have christened the stage so far, though most nights see Mars’s close collaborators The Hooligans headlining in the club. A revolving door of DJs and special guest stars are also on pace to take the circular stage at The Pinky Ring to provide a funkadelic dance groove to all attendees lucky enough to get inside. The lounge also offers specialty cocktails named after members of the in-house band, making the drink menu incredibly familiar to long-time fans of Mars’ work.

The Venue Does Not Allow Cell Phones

In keeping with its retro-groovy aesthetic, The Pinky Ring does not allow cell phones or cameras inside the venue at any time. This helps to preserve the mystique and exclusivity of the space while also offering a private and memorable event for those inside, allowing patrons to fully live in the moment. This no-phones-allowed policy is shared with Bruno Mars’ other performances and live shows at the Park MGM, so it should come as no surprise to fans who have seen him perform there in the last year or so.

The rule also exists to obfuscate the many celebrity guests likely to attend parties and events at The Pinky Ring. As you can surely guess, many A-listers enjoy having the option to let loose in the venue without a constant barrage of flashing cameras in their face. The Pinky Ring Is Open For Business

For those of you who just can’t resist a hyper-funky retro party, The Pinky Ring is currently open seven days a week. Like many Las Vegas clubs, the venue operates on night hours, offering you the ability to sleep in during your Vegas vacation, enjoy the spa, and grab brunch before committing to dancing the night away alongside Bruno Mars and The Hooligans.

The venue is within the Bellagio and opens at 5 p.m. every night. The Pinky Ring closes at 2 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. Though you may not be able to get any photographs on the inside, the memories formed within the exclusive bar will surely last a lifetime.

Nicki Minaj Shows Off Her Flexibility With An On-Stage Split During “Pink Friday 2” Show

One of the biggest tours of 2024 got underway earlier this month. Nicki Minaj took off on the back of her new album Pink Friday 2 with a tour of the same name. So far she’s played two shows in Oakland and Denver. Across the next few months, she’ll play a few dozen more shows across North America before taking off to Europe in May. Though the tour has only just gotten started, clips from the performances are already attracting plenty of attention online.

Earlier today, video started making the rounds online of an attention-grabbing piece of choreography from one of the shows. In the clip, Nicki shows off her flexibility by doing a split on stage in an incredibly revealing fit. Fans cheer her on as she takes her time descending to an almost full split. But her stopping short of that full split actually drew some criticisms from fans in the comments. “Did anyone else cringe?” and “Chillleee yall paid hundreds of dollars for this ?” two other comments read. Others compare her to some of her other female rap contemporaries. “Lmaoooo sis couldn’t do that center split. Meg and Cardi do it with no hesitation” another comment reads. The very first show of the Pink Friday 2 tour was already quite an event. The show took place in Oakland and a video of Barbz brawling in the audience. TMZ shared a clip of a surprisingly large and intense fight that broke out in the stands, though security eventually swarmed in to break things up. Barbz in attendance also started a chant taking at aim at Latto, who Nicki has had beef with throughout the past year.

This past New Music Friday, Schoolboy Q released his first album in nearly five years, Blue Lips. The long-awaited follow-up to 2019’s Crash Talk, Blue Lips contained guest appearances from Ab-Soul, AZ Chike, Childish Major, Freddie Gibbs, Jozzy, Rico Nasty, and more. Prior to its release, Q dropped one single, “Yeern 101,” as well as teasers of several other tracks from the album, and although it’s still early, the album has already drawn major praise from critics and fans as a satisfying comeback for the South Central rapper.

It’s been so well-received so far, you may be wondering if there’s more new music on the horizon for the TDE star, particularly in the form of a deluxe re-release, which has become a standard for the music business as a whole.

Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it looks like Schoolboy isn’t a big fan of the format, so the answer is most likely a “no.” “Labels & artist kinda killed da deluxe,” he told a fan on Twitter. “it’s a scam.. no way I’m adding 3-4 songs to my album a week after it drop. I work 2 Hard on my craft for a extra 2k in sales. nobody cares.”

To be fair, the man’s got a point. During the big music industry slowdown during 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, it became common practice for artists — especially rappers — to follow-up new releases with “deluxe” editions adding a handful of new songs in the hopes of juicing streams. In some cases, a whole album’s worth of new tracks were added. While the strategy was seen as a useful middle ground to save resources from promoting EPs or mixtapes to keep artists’ buzz alive between albums, it’s rarely produced very many viable tracks or huge bumps in streaming numbers.

Perhaps Schoolboy’s decision to avoid chasing the trend will benefit him in the long run, giving fans time to actually anticipate his next release.

Furthermore, Live Free 999 wants to combat the stigma around mental health, especially in the Black male community where this can be prevalent. Before Juice WRLD’s overdose in December of 2019, he had agreed to go to rehab with the support of his friends and family following a long string of struggles. Shortly after his tragic loss, Carmela Wallace founded the Live Free 999 Foundation to help young people on similar paths.

Not only that, but her discussion of her son’s loss centered around not just substance abuse, but also anxiety and depression. This led to a more open discussion on these issues among the fanbase, and the organization’s initiatives and website aim to provide plentiful support and resources. As for Fivio Foreign’s accusation, he made his claim on Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion podcast, last month, although he didn’t mention Curtis Golden. “Louis Paso, he came ’round me.
