Offset Pays Tribute To Rich Homie Quan And Explains How Fatherhood Impacted His Music
Offset was one of many superstars in attendance at Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players 2024 event. During a brief interview with Kyle Denis, he let the outlet know that there’s a lot else on his mind apart from his upcoming third child with Cardi B. Specifically, the former Migo spoke on his love of Fashion Week, which city he prefers for it, and which songs pumped him up to attend the Billboard event. However, the most salient and compelling parts of the brief conversation came when he spoke on the impact that fatherhood has had on his musical and artistic endeavors, plus when he paid tribute to the memory of the late Rich Homie Quan.
First, Offset asserted that his experience as a father over the past 15 years or so (Cardi B’s third child will be his sixth) has definitely contributed to his creative process. “You know, it makes you grow up,” he told Billboard‘s Denis. “It makes you pay attention and switch the things that you talk about in your music, you know what I mean? It makes me give a little context to the music now.” Even though he and Cardi are no longer together, their family will surely continue to brighten their lives both in professional and personal ways.

Offset Sends Rich Homie Quan’s Family His Condolences
Then, Offset was asked whether he has anything to say to Rich Homie Quan’s family as they mourn his loss. “I wish you guys some type of prosperity,” he remarked. “Some type of overcoming of it. Shout out to Rich Homie, man. That’s a day one artist right there. We all came up together in the same lab, in the same kitchen, you know what I mean? Trying to make it happen, man. That’s a tragic thing to hip-hop, man. Shout out to Rich Homie Quan, man. RIP to you and bless your family.”
Rich Homie Quan’s loss shocked the rap world, but in its aftermath, some healing could emerge. For example, Quavo and Offset seem to have hashed out their issues after this tragedy, and we hope that the late Atlanta icon’s family and loved ones can heal and honor his legacy in whatever way they see fit. When asked to define hip-hop in one word, ‘Set had a pretty spot-on answer that summarizes much of what he spoke on. “Culture.”

Jeremy “JR” Robinson’s Alleged Side Chick Addresses Tamar Braxton’s Accusations
The relationship drama between former couple Tamar Braxton and Jeremy “JR” Robinson is getting even more heated up. Moreover, you probably already know that the former accused the latter of using her money to spend time with another woman. In fact, the singer even called out someone on social media by posting their page, claiming that they are the “side chick” in question. Well, it turns out that this alleged flame actually responded to the whole thing. She denied ever meeting JR, claiming that she never responded to his DMs and that she doesn’t want an apology from Braxton. “On Tuesday, this woman made some very, very false accusations against me and who you guys call the KFC man,” she began. “They’re untrue. [I] have never met this man in my life.
“This woman has called me a tramp, the infamous tramp,” the woman continued about Tamar Braxton. “And she’s insinuating that I have been having relations with her… Husband? Fiancée? I don’t know what it is. I didn’t know anything about the marriage. To my knowledge, nobody else knew. I don’t know. Jeremy getting on Live and addressing the fact that none of this was true obviously wasn’t enough for this woman to clear this whole situation up. So I am here to do so along with telling the real truth about this gentleman who is trying to play what I feel is both sides. She’s saying that this charge right here was made on the 30th of August. She claims that he was at the Four Seasons with me. False. And I’m going to show you guys why that is false.
Woman Roped Up In Tamar Braxton Drama Speaks Out
“Before I start showing these screenshots, I do want to say, Jeremy, you…” she added. “Sir, you have to be quicker than that. You tried to clean house of previous DMS that you sent me multiple times. Calling yourself sending, not getting a response, deleting, and then sending again. And now that all of this has blown up, you tried to get rid of them. So I’m going to show them. When this situation happened, I did message him. And I said: ‘Not sure what you and your fiancée have going on, but this is absolutely absurd. You and I both know that there’s no truth to this. We’ve never met before. This is also defamation as well. I would definitely clear this up with her if I were you. She has no clue the mistake she just made.’ As you guys can see, I sent this to him. This is a screenshot of the message that I sent him.
“[I’m not] open to accepting that apology because, at the end of the day, the damage is already done,” she concluded. “She did what she did. That’s something she should’ve done at the very beginning before, you know, taking this to social media. Now you have this woman on social media, you know, posting scriptures today. Like, ma’am… It’s a little too late. We’re not going to bring the Good Lord into this. We’re just not going to do that. So, yeah… Respectfully, Tamar, I’m praying for you. Get some help, love, get some help. I feel like you have bigger fish to fry. I mean, two failed marriages, you got fired from The Real, music not selling… Yeah. I’m sorry, okay, y’all, I’ma stop, I’ma stop. But yeah, that’s all I wanted to get on here and say, just to clear my name.”

Dame Dash Has Dental Malfunction While Addressing 50 Cent On IG Live
Dame Dash and 50 Cent have been wrapped up in a social media spat as of late, which began when Fif mocked Dash’s financial issues on Million Dollaz Worth of Game. Dash decided to hop on Instagram Live this week to address this, delving deeper into his financial hardships. He referenced 50 Cent and telling him that $1 million is not a lot of money, doubling down. “Hell no it ain’t no money,” he said. “N***a I owe $8 million in taxes right now to one state. A million ain’t going to help me. I can’t even have no money until I make at least 16 million.”
From there, Dash explained that he wanted to see if 50 Cent was “the real deal.” Unfortunately, immediately after saying this, his grill fell out of his mouth. It’s unclear exactly why this happened, but he proceeded to go off-camera for a moment to fix it before returning.

Dame Dash’s Grill Pops Out
Of course, viewers in the Livebitez comments section were quick to point out that 50 Cent would have a field day with this. “Wheeew, 50 is gonna have a blast with this one!” one fan wrote alongside a laughing emoji. “Why just why did you give 50 this type of ammo,” another asked. It didn’t take long for Fif to respond. Earlier today, he took to Instagram to share a clip of the wild moment. “wow ya man teeth fell out his mouth LOL what a week, all roads lead to Shreveport let’s work. LMAO@bransoncognac @lecheminduroi,” he wrote.
As for Dash, he took to social media today to poke fun at himself for the viral moment. “My diamond grills popped out because that’s what happens when you’re broke,” he said. What do you think of Dame Dash’s grill popping out while he was talking about 50 Cent on Instagram Live? Wale Returns With Brief But Intriguing “Ghetto Speak” & “Mission Statement” Singles
Wale has kind of been in the dark for a little bit now, but he seems to be ramping up production again with this new “Ghetto Speak” two-pack. This comes on the heels of his Every Blue Moon Tour announcement from a few weeks ago. It’s commemorating the release of his debut album, Attention Deficit, which is now over 15 years old already. The Every Blue Moon trek is going to be quite the journey across the U.S. despite it not being solely for a new release. Wale will begin on September 19 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Then, he will wrap things up on November 7 in Birmingham, AL. However, noticed how we said “not solely”. There is a great chance that the D.C. talent will promote some new tracks from his ninth album that’s in the works.
It’s possible that it could be named after the tour, and it would be an aptly titled LP given his recent track record. We don’t have a release date yet, but we did receive a snippet of song in the trailer announcement for the tour. Furthering the hype are these two new songs from Wale, “Ghetto Speak” and “Mission Statement”. Both cuts are extremely short with them averaging out to be a minute and a half apiece. However, they do present some descriptive and introspective lyricism, as well as solid beats. “Ghetto Speak” is rougher around the edges with dirty soul vibe. His bars reflect the good and the bad about his hometown. “Mission Statement”, more cleanly produced by T-Minus, sounds more upbeat on the surface, but it has a serious tone like the first. There are great ideas here and we cannot wait for more to come from Wale.

Fans Think ASAP Rocky Threw Jabs On His J. Cole-Assisted Track “Ruby Rosary”
Ahead of his forthcoming album, Don’t Be Dumb, ASAP Rocky graced fans with a new single titled “Ruby Rosary” on Friday (Sept. 6). Produced by The Alchemist, the New York native united with J. Cole for a lyrical onslaught.

Did ASAP Rocky Diss Drake On ‘Ruby Rosary’?
ASAP Rocky said he wasn’t going to worry about his Drake beef on future releases, but fans believe they’ve detected some shade in his new song. “Ruby Rosary,” the new ASAP Rocky song produced by The Alchemist and featuring J. Cole, has a few lines on it that some fans believe are references to Drake and the ongoing friction between the two former friends. So…
Did ASAP Rocky Diss Drake On “Ruby Rosary?”
In his second verse, Rocky raps, “Who dared me to die? / You a dead man walkin’, like you barely alive / Cut everything but the family ties / Cut the shit, cut the lies, word to the wise / Who in your top five? / I don’t get fresh to death, bitch, I’m buried alive / I heard dawg talkin’ funny, like it’s Family Guy.”
One of the more obvious potential Drake references is “Buried Alive,” the Take Care interlude on which Drake invited Kendrick Lamar to rap, increasing Kendrick’s popularity early in the Compton rapper’s career. Obviously, the two stars’ career paths diverged greatly, culminating in this summer’s beatdown, wherein K. Dot cooked Drake repeatedly over the course of several songs.
In some of those songs, particularly “Family Matters” and “Meet The Grahams,” the two foes expended several lines referring to each others’ families, hence, a potential meaning for the “family ties” reference in “Ruby Rosary.” Of course, all this is circumstantial and thinner than a toad’s toupee, but after Drake bowed out of his rumble with Kendrick, bloodthirsty rap fans have been grasping at whatever straws they can, hoping for a crumb of conflict.
Flo Milli, Coop, And G’s NSFW ‘Wet Dreams’ Video Recreates Just About Every Steamy Fantasy One Could Have
Last month, Flo Milli starred in True Religion’s anniversary campaign alongside NLE Choppa (viewable here). However, clothing is completely optional in the “Never Lose Me” rapper’s steamy new music video.
Today (September 6), Flo Milli shared her first solo release since her Fine Ho, Stay album in March (excluding the Bad Boys 4 soundtrack song, “Duh!”). On “Wet Dreams,” which is dropped by Jasper Hellwig, Flo Milli alongside her collaborators Coop and G, the trio explicitly raps about their sundown activity.
But, in the track’s official video, director Leff brought that sensual fantasy to life. From cinematic recreations of Pamela Anderson’s slo-mo run across the hot beach in Baywatch to a mashup of Belly’s iconic bedroom scene with Taral Hicks, the ladies leave nothing to the imagination.
Dressed in laced numbers, at times filtered by blue light, it is clear that Flo Milli, Coop, G’s racy lines are not for play. Girls just want to have fun and their intimate partners are all happier for it. But as they shake their goodies on the glass encased patio, they don’t mind others looking in.
It is unclear if this is the first taste of a project Flo Milli has hidden in her négligée but who cares — just enjoy the show.
