Young Thug’s Brother Erupts On YSL Mondo For Doing Interviews Amid RICO Case

Unfortunately, Young Thug may be in court for a lot longer. It seems that every YSL defendant is doing something that could possibly derail any sort of positive progress. YSL Woody has been the main proponent of acting out of pocket in the court room, even making up fake names to “snitch on”. However, it seems that YSL Mondo could be another catalyst in extending Young Thug’s appearances before a judge. According to No Jumper, the record label co-founder is doing too many interviews in the eyes Young Thug’s brother, Unfoonk. Currently, there’s a clip going around of Mondo blasting Woody for being “the biggest rat” he knows on the Its Up There Podcast.

Apparently, those two have been beefing amid this RICO Case and Unfoonk thinks it’s a bad look for Mondo to continue to speak. Even the popular Young Thug fan account on X, THUGGERDAILY, is calling him out. Unfoonk explained why this only making things worse in his eyes on an IG story while putting Mondo on blast. “N**** really doing interviews talking about sum they don’t know smh”, Unfoonk begins.

“Its a reason why wasn’t around u n****, save all dat cap s***, clout chasing a** n**** smh. Its only a matter of time before I say f*** it, u one of the reason why they saying we a gang dumb a** n****”. Mondo then took the time to clap back on X, saying that everything he’s saying is “1 million percent true” and that Unfoonk “been hating” on him since the latter got out of prison. Mondo then left things off with a threat, saying “I suggest you be quiet before I say some that’s gone hurt your feelings! You should be the last person talking period!! Now I’m just gone leave it there!”.

What are your thoughts on Young Thug’s brother blowing up on YSL Mondo for doing interviews? Who do you think has more valid points? Overall, do you agree with Unfoonk’s take? Legendary DJ Fatman Scoop Collapses on Stage at Show; Taken to Area Hospital

image

Scary moment when Fatman Scoop, whose real name is Isaac Freeman, collapsed on stage during a performance at Hamden Town Centre Park.

The incident was confirmed by Hamden mayor Lauren Garrett, who stated that Freeman was “transported by ambulance to the hospital.” Garrett added, “We will provide updates when they are available. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.”

This is concerning and many of Scoop’s fans not to mention the industry are collectively holding their breathe.

There also seems to be footage circulating on social media capturing the distressing moment Freeman struggled to climb onto a platform before collapsing behind a DJ booth. The music was quickly stopped, and fellow performers on stage addressed the crowd.

The audience fell eerily silent.

What’s more is some screams could be heard as CPR was administered in an attempt to revive Freeman on the scene.

Authorities arrived at 8:33 p.m. and transported the rapper out of the venue on a stretcher.

His current condition remains unknown, though concerned concertgoers were overheard asking if he was okay after witnessing the collapse.

As expected, fans have started flooding social media with messages of concern and support for the hip-hop hype man, who gained prominence in the early 2000s with his 2003 re-release of “Be Faithful” alongside Crooklyn Clan.

In a 2014 interview, Freeman shared that his nickname, Fatman Scoop, was given to him by his Uncle Jack due to his love of ice cream as a child. Iconic.

If unfamiliar, throughout his career, Freeman has collaborated with numerous artists, including Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, and Missy Elliott, earning critical acclaim. His feature in Missy Elliott’s 2005 hit “Lose Control” won a Grammy for Best Short Form Music Video and earned a nomination for Best Rap Song. That same year, he appeared on Mariah Carey’s hit single “It’s Like That” alongside Jermaine Dupri, which earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

Just hours before his Connecticut concert, the music video for his latest song with Dyce Payso, “Let It Go,” was released. Prayers up for Mr. Freeman.

Feds Issue Grand Jury Subpoena In Criminal Investigation of Diddy

Diddy Partners with DJ Khaled to Announce New 'Diddy Direct' Platform

Federal authorities have been trying to get a criminal indictment against Diddy since his legal trouble began earlier this year and now a grand jury subpoena is being issued for information regarding a hotel in Florida and Diddy’s ex, Daphne Joy.

Federal prosecutors from the Southern District of New York obtained a subpoena a couple of weeks ago, ordering the swanky hotel to cough up all documents related to Diddy and Daphne Joy from 2001 up until the present, including reservation records such as check-in and check-out dates, room numbers, guest preferences and requests, and billing information, including room service. Feds also requested emails/ mailing addresses and phone numbers and with forms of payment, such as cash and/or credit cards.

Authorities’ requests have become even more specific, asking for computer IP addresses and logins for the individuals, as well as copies of their IDs and vehicle registrations.

In March, it was reported that Diddy’s Miami and Los Angeles mansions were raided by federal authorities due to an investigation into Diddy’s involvement in alleged sex and narcotics trafficking. Also, it has been confirmed that a grand jury has been empaneled to hear evidence and witnesses were notified they could be called to testify in the Southern District of New York.

TheSource.com will update this story as details develop.

Drake Adds A New Song To His “100 GIGS” Three-Pack On Streaming

Drake sent the internet into a frenzy (as he usually does) about a week ago by dropping off three new songs. Like he did with “Blue Green Red”, “It’s Up”, and “Housekeeping Knows”, he put on them on his recently created Instagram burner account plottttwistttttt. For this round Drizzy put out “Supersoak (SOD)”, minus Lil Yachty, “No Face”, featuring Playboi Carti, and “Circadian Rhythm”. Eventually, The Boy would go onto release the OG three-pack onto streaming services about four days after. This time, though, Drake waited about a week to place more 100 GIGS content on DSPs.

However, you may be disappointed to learn that only one of the new tracks got a wider release. According to RapTV, the hitmaker only sent through “Circadian Rhythm”. When you go onto any of his DSP accounts, there are now two 100 GIGS EPs. You have the original and then the aforementioned cut slots in place of “Blue Green Red” and is flanked by “It’s Up” and “Housekeeping Knows”.

Did Drake Make A Mistake Not Including The Other New 100 GIGS Tracks?

It’s sort of an interesting move to not just release “No Face” and “Supersoak” along with “Circadian Rhythm”. However, it’s worth noting that Lil Yachty said that “Supersoak” would never get an official release due to sample clearance issues. As for “No Face”, there really isn’t a reason as to why it’s not on streaming. Hopefully, that comes to fruition, but it seems that most Drake stans are happy with arguably the most memorable track from this new crop of three out everywhere.

What are your thoughts on Drake putting “Circadian Rhythm” on the 100 GIGS three-pack? Do you think he should have put out “Supersoak (SOD)” and “No Face” onto streaming, why or why not? Is he winning you over with any of these new releases? Do you approve or disapprove of his strategy post beef? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Diddy Gets Update In Federal Investigation Thanks To New Subpoena

Diddy continues to deny the current lawsuits and accusations against him, but federal authorities are still trying to get to the bottom of the case. Moreover, according to a new TMZ report based on reportedly obtained legal documents, the court issued a grand jury subpoena to a hotel in Florida. These are their latest efforts to determine whether there is enough evidence to form a criminal indictment against him. Apparently, federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York want the luxury Miami location to provide documents and evidence regarding the Bad Boy mogul’s stays there at any point after January 1, 2008.

Furthermore, Diddy and his ex Daphne Joy both appear in the subpoena, and it demands quite the extensive list of information. These include reservation records for them and other Bad Boy affiliates, guest preferences and requests, billing info, emails, mailing addresses, phone numbers, forms of payment, computer IP addresses and logins, ID and vehicle registration copies, and surveillance footage. Per the outlet, this subpoena emerged a couple of weeks ago amid Sean Combs’ denials, so there’s no telling how much evidence they’ve gained so far or what they’re still waiting on.

Diddy At The 65th Cannes Film Festival

However, even though this federal investigation continues to ramp up, it seems like it won’t completely stop Diddy in his tracks no matter what it finds. For example, he recently greeted some fans in South Beach during a rare public outing, showing that he’s still willing to go outside. Others in this situation choose to disappear from the public eye as much as possible. While the music executive is certainly keeping things more private than usual, we still have to see what happens with this case in order to properly assess his movement.

Meanwhile, Diddy isn’t the only Bad Boy alum in trouble these days. Harve Pierre also faces an anonymous sexual assault lawsuit from a woman who claimed that keeping her identity a secret is one of the few things protecting her in life right now. It’s a very complicated and contentious case, one whose outcome is impossible to predict at press time. We’ll see what other investigations and conclusions emerge.

[WATCH] California to Launch Mortgage Loan Program for Undocumented Immigrants

Screen Shot 2024 08 31 at 8.32.45 AM

California is on the verge of passing a controversial new program that would provide up to $150,000 in mortgage loans to undocumented immigrants. The initiative, which is an expansion of the California Dream for All program, aims to address housing challenges faced by immigrants who have been living in the state for at least two years but continue to reside in migrant shelters and motels.

The loan program, originally launched in 2023, was met with overwhelming demand. The initial funding of roughly $300 million was exhausted within just 11 days, with over 2,100 immigrants securing loans through the program. Now, the state legislature is expected to approve additional funding to meet the ongoing demand.

The California Dream for All program provides 20 percent in down payment assistance, capped at $150,000 per applicant. It was designed to help first-time homebuyers, particularly those who have struggled to enter the housing market due to financial barriers. The expansion to include undocumented immigrants has sparked significant debate among lawmakers and the public.

Proponents of the bill argue that it is a necessary step to ensure that all residents, regardless of their immigration status, have access to safe and stable housing. Fresno Democrat Joaquin Arambula, who authored the bill, emphasized that applicants must have a taxpayer identification number or social security number, indicating that they are contributing taxpayers.

“It isn’t given out willy nilly to just anybody,” Democratic Assemblymember Eloise Gómez Reyes stated during a June hearing. She and other supporters argue that the program is a way to uphold California’s values as a diverse and inclusive state.

However, the proposal has faced strong opposition from Republican lawmakers. GOP Assemblymember Joe Patterson voiced his concerns during a committee hearing earlier this summer, stating, “I just can’t get behind using our limited dollars for people who are in this country undocumented.” Critics argue that the state should prioritize its limited resources for citizens and legal residents, especially amid ongoing economic challenges.

Governor Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, has not yet indicated whether he will sign the bill if it passes the legislature by the August 31 deadline. His decision could have significant political implications, particularly as the state continues to grapple with issues related to immigration and housing.

Vice President Kamala Harris, in her recent DNC acceptance speech, spoke to the broader context of immigration in the United States, stating that the country can “live up to our proud heritage as a nation of immigrants.” Her remarks reflect the ongoing national conversation about how best to support immigrant communities, particularly in states like California, which is home to the largest population of undocumented immigrants in the country.

Thoughts?
