Irv Gotti Is Reportedly In Recovery After Having A Stroke Earlier This Year

Pioneering record executive Irv Gotti is reportedly recovering from the effects of a stroke earlier this year, according to TMZ via fellow record producer Wack100. During a chat on Clubhouse, Wack100 said he was told by an employee of a rehab facility that Irv had suffered a stroke, and later shared a photo of the producer walking with a cane.

However, a representative for Irv told TMZ, “Irv has been struggling with diabetes for years, which caused him to have a minor stroke over six months ago. He has since changed his diet to eating more healthy. He’s been successful in making a full recovery. Irv is not in a rehab facility. He is at home with his family, enjoying life.”

Gotti previously talked on an episode of Drink Champs about how hard eating healthy had been after being diagnosed with diabetes, saying that he was also finding it difficult to stay consistent with his insulin. “But you know what’s f*cked up with diabetes?” he said. “Anything that you’re gonna like or tastes good, horrible for you. Now what’s some nasty sh*t? Broccoli… you supposed to eat some leaves or sh*t like that.”

However, he also acknowledged how widespread the condition is among certain populations. “It’s rampant with Black people,” he noted. “What it does is, it starts deteriorating your body.”

In July, Irv was sued for sexual assaultcharges which he has denied.

Tinashe Is ‘Not Sure’ Why She Was Considered ‘Niche’ Before ‘Nasty,’ But She Loves Her ‘Great Career’ Regardless

Tinashe’s debut single, the Schoolboy Q collaboration “2 On,” was a top-40 favorite. After that, though, she had a Hot 100 dry spell that she just ended recently with the viral hit “Nasty.” Between those two events, though, Tinashe continued to make well-respected art and build a fan base for herself. As for why it took this long for her to enter the mainstream pop conversation, she’s not quite sure.

Tinashe and Kaytranada had a conversation for Interview, and Kaytranada asked, “So a lot of fans seem to be confused that you haven’t broken through as a mega pop artist until now. Why do you think that is?” Tinashe answered:

“I’m not sure why the zeitgeist has kept me in some type of niche category. But I’m in a great position. I have fans that love me, I’m able to tour, I’m able to make the art I want to make. So I’m pretty satisfied. As much as I want all the success and the accolades, I have such a great career, so I’m thankful. But I don’t know why. It could be the universe. It could be the way society’s set up. Being a Black woman in music is difficult. There’s been a lot of discrepancy over how to market me. In my early days, people were confused by my genre hopping and my lack of commitment to an urban direction.”

He then asked if she felt “pressure to cater to certain tastes,” and she answered, “I used to. Now I have the freedom to do whatever I want. But I did in my early days, like when I was signed to RCA after having just made my first mixtapes. I don’t think it was insidious, but over time I started making more and more compromises. They had these expectations of what kind of artist I was, and the type of music that I was making wasn’t aligning with their vision of either a pop star or an urban star. […] My first song was ‘2 On,’ basically. So right out the gate, the first thing I put out already felt like it was pigeonholing me in all these different ways that I immediately wanted to rebel against. And so, it all went down in such an interesting way.”

Tyrese Hints That His Upcoming Interview With Shannon Sharpe Could Do “Katt Williams Numbers”

Tyrese is a pretty interesting character. That can be attributed to the Californian actor and singer’s video clips, quotes, troubling relationships, and antics. Overall, all of these factors have made him quite the controversial pop culture figure in the eyes of a lot of people online. However, in that same breath, its lead him to receiving lots of interview requests, which have to be paying him pretty handsomely. Shannon Sharpe clearly sees what’s going on with Tyrese as of late, and its why we are getting a Club Shay Shay interview very soon.

In fact, the episode is currently in the middle of its premiere at the time of writing. Sharpe teased the interview on the Club Shay Shay Instagram account late last night, saying that they will be discussing their “internet-breaking videos”. They both have a lot of them, so it should be a ton of fun. However, Tyrese is taking it a step further, according to theJasmineBrand.

In a short video clip, he believes that if the Club Shay Shay producers air their entire episode, then it could do “Katt Williams” numbers. At the time of writing, Katt’s viral and unhinged sit-down has over 73.5 million views and its one of the most-watched interviews on the platform. So, it will be a tall task if that was the goal for Tyrese, and fans seem to think he’s doing too much. “I don’t know if it’s Tyrese or his ego, but one of them is draining😩”, one user expresses. “He should’ve just let the interview speak for itself 🤦🏾‍♂️ Now the expectation will be too high and it won’t do as well 🤷🏾‍♂️”, another predicts. There should still be plenty to dissect, so be sure to stick around for more updates on this interview.

What are your thoughts on Tyrese gassing up his upcoming interview with Shannon Sharpe? Do you agree with fans that he needs a break from social media? Does this make you want to tune in when it does drop? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Usher Faces Clone Accusations As Uncanny Clip Goes Viral

Usher is known for his iconic shows, but amid his “Past Present Future” tour, fans think he may have called for backup. In a new clip making its rounds online, he’s seen standing onstage with a big grin, kicking off a performance of “Yeah!” Social media users were quick to point out that he sounded and looked off, and began to come to their own conclusions. Many are now convinced that the man onstage was not the real Usher, but instead, a clone.

“That ain’t no damn Usher,” one Instagram user writes in The Neighborhood Talk‘s comments section. “He told yall he needed a break lol now yall got the temu usher,” another speculates. Of course, it’s completely possible that Usher was just having a rough night. This would explain why he sounded different than he usually does. It’s also possible that he was dealing with technical difficulties and couldn’t hear himself.

Usher Doesn’t Seem Like Himself, Fans Claim

Earlier this month, Usher also postponed the first three dates of his tour because he suffered a neck injury during rehearsals. “My hope was that with physical therapy and medical treatment, I would be able to overcome the injury and be ready for opening night,” he told his supporters. “Unfortunately, the injury has not healed yet, and my doctors have instructed me not to perform any shows this week.” While he went on to deliver electric performances at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., it’s likely that he’s still not at 100%.

This would be yet another reasonable explanation for the mishap, though it’s unconfirmed whether or not this was the cause. What do you think of people accusing the Usher in this viral clip of being a clone? Are you buying it or not? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

J. Cole’s ‘The Fall Off’ Album May Have Songs Produced By The Alchemist According To A Q&A With The Producer

There haven’t been many updates on J. Cole’s supposed final album, The Fall-Off, since before he involved himself in the beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. Though he later recused himself from said beef, he has seemingly been lying low for the past few months. However, fans may have learned a new detail about the long-awaited album from an unexpected source.

West Coast producer The Alchemist, whose work has been in higher demand than ever in recent years, hinted that he might be a part of The Fall-Off during a Twitter Q&A with fans. After one fan asked directly whether he had any beats on the upcoming album, Alchemist replied with a zipper-mouth emoji rather than a flat “no,” which could be an indicator that he’s got info he’s not allowed to share (on the other hand, he’s been known to reply with some pretty trollish answers during these chats with fans, so there’s a possibility he’s just stirring the pot).

Cole might not be the only Dreamville artist that Alchemist is working with, either. When another fan asked if he would ever “consider collaborating with JID,” he replied with “stay tuned and find out.” It certainly sounds like the producer’s customer pool is expanding — he also recently produced Kendrick Lamar’s “Meet The Grahams” and Big Sean’s “Together Forever” — so work with Dreamville certainly isn’t out of the question.

Mariah Carey Apparently Knew About Sister’s Condition For A Month But Never Reached Out

Mariah Carey is currently dealing with two major losses. Her mother, Patricia, as well as her sister, Alison, are both out of her life after passing away on the same day this past weekend. It’ll probably be a little before we know the causes of their tragic deaths, but the singer/songwriter phenom is asking for privacy and respect during this time. “I appreciate everyone’s love and support and respect for my privacy during this impossible time”, she told TMZ. In that same announcement, Carey expressed how hard it was for to reveal this information.

“My heart is broken that I’ve lost my mother this past weekend. Sadly, in a tragic turn of events, my sister lost her life on the same day. I feel blessed that I was able to spend the last week with my mom before she passed”. However, a close friend of Alison’s is disputing that she’s not as emotionally damaged as she is putting on. According to The Neighborhood Talk and an exclusive report from The U.S. Sun, David Baker divulged in the conversations he had with her, as he was around her for almost a decade trying to help her through health complications and her addictions.

Mr. Baker claims that Mariah never reached out in any way while during Alison’s final days even though she allegedly knew about the state she was in. Baker says, “No, Mariah has never tried to contact Alison, even after she was told a month ago that Alison was dying. “A phone call or, better still, a video call would have meant so much to Alison. But it never came. And now Mariah is ‘heartbroken’ by the loss of her mother and her ‘ex’ sister”. He also revealed that Alison was always thinking about whether or not Mariah and the rest of the family would attend her funeral. “Alison was unhappy that her ‘baby sister’ had cut off contact with her. She talked about it frequently. She wondered if Mariah or any of her relatives would come to her funeral”.

It’s up to Mariah now if she wants to entertain this, but it’s worth noting that Alison and Mariah were never really close due to a very complicated history. What are your thoughts on Mariah Carey allegedly not speaking to her dying sister Alison in her final month? Do you think this is true, why or why not? If it is, do you think the singer should have reached out despite their history? Should Mariah respond to Alison’s friend’s claims? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Mariah Carey.
