50 Cent Blame’s “Diddy’s” Key To NYC For Keith Sweat’s Possibly Virtual Event Appearance

In a couple of weeks, 50 Cent will host his Humor & Harmony Weekend in Shreveport, Louisiana. The event has been boasting several fellow celebrity guests, including Keith Sweat. Recently, however, Fif took to Instagram to reveal that Sweat offered to attend the event virtually via Zoom instead of in person. He wasn’t feeling this at all, and called Sweat out for “tripping.”

According to him, Sweat’s hesitation to attend in person stems from the fact that he won’t be attending an important event for him a few days before his own. On August 3, Sweat is scheduled to accept the Entertainer’s Key to New York City. Previously, Diddy held the key to the city, but it was revoked after footage of him assaulting Cassie surfaced online.

50 Cent Trolls Keith Sweat

“This [ninja] @keithsweat is tripping,” 50 Cent captioned the post. “He getting Diddy’s Key to the city Aug’s 3 They blocking off streets in Harlem for him. Now if he don’t show up in Shreveport, we ain’t f*cking with him no more. @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi.” This prompted a response from Sweat, who took the opportunity to look back on Fif’s 1999 track “How to Rob,” in which he jokes about robbing him. “Hey Fif I gotta respond to you I’m definitely not coming to Shreveport now,” he wrote.

“I just remember you said this about me back in the day. I’ll see y’all in NYC Aug 3rd when I get to the key to the city. You need to be there with me and everything is squashed,” Sweat also added. Shortly after, 50 Cent replied, demanding that Sweat attend the event. “Oh no, I was tripping when I wrote that, yo a** better be in Shreveport [ninja],” he said. “We need that grown and sexy sh*t ! @keithsweat stop playing get your a** on da jet man.” What do you think of 50 Cent trolling Keith Sweat? The 2024 Paris Olympics games have begun. From Snoop Dogg’s carrying of the torch to Lady Gaga, Celine Dion, and Gojira’s trending performances, cameos featuring musicians are in abundance.

But in typical fashion, Beyoncé surprised the world with a patriotic promotional video that nearly crashed the internet. Yesterday (July 26), while after everyone processed the dazzling opening ceremony, NBC Olympics & Paralympics dropped their Team USA introduction video lead by none other than the Cowboy Carter herself, Bey.

In the visual, Beyoncé dressed in fully customized Americana regalia fit for the now reigning rodeo queen as a reimagined version of her song “Ya Ya” soundtracked the moment.

Beyoncé’s entry into country music, often viewed as the most red-blooded American genre, wasn’t exactly appreciated at the time. Despite the tension from naysayers, the Houston native preserved and make musical history along the way. The true American way.

This complex dynamic of who is considered to be a proper representation of America made its way into the promotional clip as Beyoncé said: “These hopes and dreams. These superstars that represent us. The people of this big, bold, beautiful, complicated nation.”

Call it what you want, but this type of alignment couldn’t have been more divine.

Yesterday, Ice Spice finally unveiled her eagerly anticipated new album Y2K. Fans had high hopes for the Bronx-born performer’s debut, which boasts various high-profile features. Travis Scott, Central Cee, and Eve Gunna make appearances. To celebrate, Ice Spice hosted a release party in New York City last night, where she turned up alongside some of her collaborators.

In a few clips making their rounds online, for example, she’s seen hanging out with Gunna. She posed for photos in a silver outfit, which she paired with a bold butterfly necklace. The duo appeared to be deep in conversation in one of the clips, though it remains unclear exactly what they were chatting about.

Ice Spice Celebrates Her New Album With Gunna

This isn’t the only collaborator Ice Spice has turned up with as of late, however. Yesterday, she dropped off a new music video for “Oh Shhh…” alongside Travis Scott. In the fun video, the two of them are seen spitting bars while New York City is consumed by flames. Ice Spice even paid homage to her hometown by dressing up as the Statue of Liberty. It looks like she might have something else in the works too, as during a recent interview with Capital XTRA Breakfast, she shared that she has some risky post-Y2K plans.

“I kind of want to do something that is kind of crazy, but I don’t want to say what it is yet. I feel like people are going to have so many things to say, but if I do it, you guys will not miss it,” she said. “That’s all I can really say. But let’s see, let’s see, though. Skilla Baby Includes Four Extra Cuts On The Deluxe Version Of “The Coldest”

Skilla Baby has been making a lot of noise out of the Detroit rap scene this year. He has really come into his own as of late and it’s given him a much bigger audience. It seems every mainstream MC’s newest tape or single has him on it. He has featured for Latto, Yung Miami, Coi Leray, Rob49, and many more. As a result of these new connections, a lot of them made it onto Skilla’s The Coldest and its brand-new deluxe. The original version of this tape hit streaming platforms with 16 songs on April 26 to some pretty mediocre reviews.

Users on Album Of The Year gave it an overall rating of 54, citing that Skilla Baby has the potential to make some great tracks. However, they felt there were just far too many lackadaisical efforts to rate it any higher. Overall, we share those same sentiments, but the 25-year-old is back to give his die-hards some bonus material. Earlier this week, Soulja Boy took to Instagram Live to clap back at B. Simone, who made some playfully shady comments about the rapper on her Let’s Try This Again podcast. He didn’t hold back at all, blasting Simone’s appearance, career, and more. This prompted a response from both Simone and Pretty Vee, who defended her.

“Don’t play with me @souljaboy. You better play with them ones like this but not @thebsimone. Again she said what she said, now WHAT 🤬,” she wrote in The Shade Room‘s comments section. “I rebuke you in the name of Jesus you living creature 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.” While most don’t blame Pretty Vee for sticking up for her friend, some called her out for her choice of words. “I rebuke you in the name of Jesus” were the final words of Sonya Massey, a 36-year-old Black woman murdered by police this month.

Pretty Vee Says She Meant No Disrespect

Social media users accused Pretty Vee of disrespecting Massey in her response. According to her, however, this was the last thing she meant to do. She took to Instagram recently to address the backlash, claiming that those criticizing her choice of words are taking them out of context, and confirming that she never intended to offend anyone. This sparked another response from B. Simone, who thanked Pretty Vee for standing up for her. “Vee I love you thank you for having my back ❤ A true friend ….you have the purest heart and we know what you meant by it,” she wrote.

Judge In PnB Rock’s Murder Case Deems Alleged Teen Shooter Not Fit To Stand Trial

On July 23, 2024, the murder trial for the late PnB Rock began. The Philadelphia artist was fatally shot at a Roscoe’s Chicken ‘N Waffles in South Los Angeles, California on September 12, 2022. The belief is the killer is a 17-year-old male and that he was instructed by his father, Freddie Trone. According to previous news reports, Freddie was also the getaway driver and a fugitive at the time of the crime. Additionally, the alleged teenage murderer was recently done serving jail time. Finally, Shauntel Trone, Freddie’s 38-year-old wife, was also an arrested suspect. But it seems her involvement is still up in the air.

The initial statements were given by Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney, Timothy Richardson, to a jury four women and eight men. Later, Mr. Trone’s lawyer, Winston McKesson, said there isn’t enough evidence to support his client’s involvement in the murder. Now that several hours have gone by, there is another major development in this trial. According to XXL, Rolling Stone discovered that the judge came to the conclusion that the alleged teen gunman is not fit to stand trial.

The juvenile court judge cited the reason for this decision stems from the lack of mental capacity to follow a criminal proceeding. Another detail revealed in this court update is that PnB Rock was shot three times. Once in his chest and then twice in his back. This has fans of the artist completely floored and pissed off. “Everybody special ed when they gotta face a judge huh?”, one IG user writes. “But he had the mental capacity to watch PnB girlfriend ig story, figure out which waffle house he was dining at, picking up a gun, driving to the location and shooting PnB? Nah, sentence him for life”, adds another.
