While California artist KYLE is mostly referred to as guy who worked with Lil Yachty on “iSpy”, he is honestly so much more than that. While he is not necessarily a hitmaker, he does excel at creating some quirky blends of R&B, pop, and hip-hop. Sometimes, he even ventures into the realms of dance like in his last record, SMYLE AGAIN. That project was released earlier this year as a light follow-up to his 2015 offering Smyle. However, KYLE is dipping back into more a more hip-hop centric sound for his newest single, “Dirty”. This track just further proves he can effortlessly bounce around from genre to genre at any given moment. On this record, he is working alongside fellow Californian, Hit-Boy, who hails from the Fontana area.
This is their first time teaming up and it goes over very well. The superstar producer is in the midst of another stellar year, linking with a boat load of talents. From his dad Big Hit and fellow beat making legend The Alchemist to Don Cannon and BlueBucksClan, he has been everywhere. Hit-Boy has also been rapping more frequently this year too, especially on the Cannon collab. That trend continues onto “Dirty”, in which he helms a short but memorable second verse. On this single, him and KYLE are talking about a girl that has been playing mental games with them. Both musicians feel totally blindsided, but they are not going to go out looking foolish. KYLE is especially not going for that, as he plans on developing one hell of a roster. It might be petty, but he is just giving his girl a taste of her own medicine.

Released in 2005 as the lead single from Jamie Foxx’s second studio album, Unpredictable, this track marked a milestone in his music career. Collaborating with rapper Ludacris, Foxx created a crossover hit that appealed to fans of both genres. The song features a seductive, mid-tempo groove with a smooth bassline and lush production. Foxx’s velvety vocals complement Ludacris’s rap verses, creating a dynamic interplay between the two artists.
“Unpredictable” reached No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The song’s commercial success established Foxx as a credible music artist, earning him recognition beyond his acting accolades. Released in 2009 from Jamie Foxx’s third studio album, Intuition, “Blame It” features the distinctive vocal stylings of T-Pain. This track emerged when Auto-Tune dominated the music scene, and Foxx’s collaboration with T-Pain capitalized on this trend. The song’s electro-R&B style, Foxx’s delivery, and T-Pain’s Auto-Tuned vocals created a contemporary and infectious sound. The production, characterized by its catchy hook and upbeat tempo, made “Blame It” an instant hit in clubs and on the radio.
Further, “Blame It” achieved significant commercial success. It topped the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for 14 weeks and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Released in 2010 from Jamie Foxx’s fourth studio album, Best Night of My Life, “Fall For Your Type” features Drake. This track is a more reflective and emotional piece in Foxx’s discography. It diverges from the club-oriented hits he is often known for. The slow tempo and melancholy piano melody create a poignant backdrop for Foxx’s soulful vocals. The lyrical content delves into themes of love, regret, and vulnerability, offering a more personal glimpse into Foxx’s artistry.
“Fall For Your Type” also received positive reviews from critics. The collaboration with Drake, one of the most influential artists of his time, helped the song resonate with a wider audience. It highlights his talent for producing timeless songs that maintain their charm and appeal, solidifying his status as a versatile and enduring artist in the music industry.
OsamaSon has already had a busy year, and luckily for fans, he doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. Last week, the Ohio-born performer teamed up with fellow underground artist Nettspend to unleash their new single, “Withdrawals.” As expected, the track sees them mesh their styles in a way that some might describe as overstimulating. Their loyal supporters, on the other hand, are sure to find the collab to be a match made in heaven.
The song sees them lament the pitfalls of drug use, realize that withdrawals are no walk in the park, and more. The dark themes are accompanied by energetic and experimental production, which feels contradictory but manages to convey the kind of chaos they’re seemingly looking to capture. It arrived alongside a similarly wild music video in which they roam around with their crew, hit up a liquor store, and eventually both land in the hospital. Check it out down below.
“Withdrawals” follows various other singles OsamaSon has unveiled so far this year, including “Moncler,” “Selena,” and more. It also follows his collaborative album with Glokk40Spaz, 3vil Reflection, which they dropped back in May. What do you think of OsamaSon’s new track with Virginia-born artist Nettspend? Do you think the two of them make a good team? Will you be adding “Withdrawals” to your playlist or not? Who do you want to see OsamaSon join forces with next? Former NFL player Daniel Muir and his wife, Kristin Muir, are facing serious charges after allegations surfaced of abuse towards their teenage son, Bryson. New court documents reveal disturbing details about the incident. This includes Daniel Muir’s admission of beating his son over allegations of inappropriate behavior. Bryson Muir, 14, was found safe after a raid on the family’s home in Logansport, Indiana, conducted by Indiana State Police.
The Muirs, who have been taken into custody without bond, face charges of domestic battery and obstruction of justice. This case has garnered significant attention due to Daniel Muir’s background as a former defensive tackle for the Indianapolis Colts.
The Incident & Allegations
Daniel Muir admitted to a relative that he “whooped” his son, Bryson, like a “grown ass man” over allegations of inappropriate contact with other children. The court documents also reveal Muir’s statement that “if they lived in their homeland (religious country) (redacted name) would be put to death for his acts, instead they live in the United States so they could not put him to death,” according to WISH-TV. However, Bryson was reported missing after leaving his grandmother’s home in Ohio with his mother on June 16.
Law Enforcement Involvement
Bryson’s grandmother, Cheryl Wright, reported seeing her grandson with visible injuries, including a black eye and a swollen face. Then, she alerted the police, concerned for his safety and suspecting abuse. Finally, On June 18, the Indiana Department of Child Services requested state police assistance in investigating the allegations. Despite agreeing to bring Bryson for a meeting with investigators, the Muirs failed to comply. Overall, this decision led to a Silver Alert being issued on June 20.
The Raid & Aftermath
A SWAT team executed a search warrant at the Muir home in Logansport on June 27. The property is reportedly owned by the Servant Leadership Foundation, and Daniel Muir is allegedly associated with Straitway Truth Ministry, a controversial religious sect identifying as Hebrew Israelites. Moreover, neighbors have described the Muirs’ property as “scary” and “cult-like,” with multiple “no trespassing” signs and reports of hearing gunshots in the past.
Court Proceedings & Charges
Daniel Muir faces charges of domestic battery and obstruction of justice, while Kristin Muir is charged with obstruction. During a court hearing, it was revealed that Child Services had taken all of the Muirs’ children into their care. The couple’s next court appearance is scheduled for July 16. The judge cited the parents’ failure to comply with the investigation as the reason for denying bond.
Community and Religious Response
Charles Dowell, the head pastor of Straitway Truth Ministries, issued a video response defending the Muirs and criticizing the raid as an overreaction to allegations. He claimed that the community would not take the accusations lightly and would continue to support the Muir family.
This case not only sheds light on the severe allegations of child abuse but also highlights the complex dynamics within religious communities and the legal system. The investigation continues as authorities work to ensure the safety and well-being of all involved children.
Questlove is an amazingly accomplished artist, with six Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, and a slew of books and movies to his name. Likewise, fellow Philadelphian multihyphenate Quinta Brunson has a ton of hardware adorning her shelf, with an Emmy Award to go alongside multiple(!) Peabody Awards.
You’d think that these would be pretty serious people, but everyone needs to unwind sometime — and, in their case, they equally overachieve with their game nights as with anything else, putting on a party of epic proportions with a guest list that reads like a dream blunt rotation.
In addition to fellow Abbott Elementary stars Ayo Edibiri (who plays Quinta’s character’s sister), Cree Summer, and Zack Fox (who plays Quinta’s character’s ex), the guests included music stars like Eryn Allen Kane, Finneas, Jason Sudeikis, Jojo, Kelly Rowland, LL Cool J, Maggie Rogers, Steve Lacy, Thundercat, Vince Staples, Willow, and even Weird Al Yankovic. I’d ask what a brother has to do to get an invite, but it seems pretty obvious: Get nominated for a Grammy or two, shift the paradigms of popular music, or be one of the most talented humans alive. Milwaukee, Wisconsin underground multi-talent DC The Don is getting fans ready for a new album with this brand-new, three-track EP, 2012. The auto crooning rapper has been making waves for a couple of years now due to his atmospheric aura. He blends emo, R&B, rage, and psychedelic trap together, as he usually emanates the styles of your favorite superstars. Whether it be Juice WRLD, Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, or Lil Uzi Vert, he has covered all their respective sounds numerous times. This time with 2012, DC The Don is replicating La Flame and Yeat mostly. Even though you can check out this aesthetic from other artists, he does still come across as engaging and full of energy. The track we are currently enjoying the most so far from this tape is the closer “IDK IT DEPENDS”.
The instrumental creates an incredible atmosphere, and it may be the highlight of the song. It is warped, aggressive, and feels grand in scale. DC’s animated adlibs that are reminiscent of earlier Travis are also a nice extra layer. If the mission of this track was to be a banger, then it passes with flying colors. Fans also seem to agree that this is the best of the trio, as it already has over 146,000 streams since its release this weekend. However, the tandem of “MR.” produced by Supah Mario (Young Thug, Drake, Lil Uzi Vert) and “FULLY LOADED” are more than serviceable. As we mentioned, 2012 is just a pre-cursor for DC’s fourth album which will be called REBIRTH. It does not have a release date yet, but we think it will drop in the next couple of months.
Diddy is facing a new lawsuit claiming that he “groomed” a woman named Adria English into sex trafficking after she met the disgraced rapper in 2004. According to documents obtained by TMZ, English says her then-boyfriend was auditioning for a modeling gig for Sean John when Diddy allegedly requested that the man and another model perform oral sex on him to get the job. English says her partner refused.
English further claims Diddy eventually offered him another chance at the job if she worked as a “go-go dancer” at one of the white parties in the Hamptons, later that year, which she accepted. TMZ provided a photo of her appearing to be at the iconic party. It went smoothly and Diddy allegedly continued inviting her to more parties, where he requested she flirt with guests and consume laced alcoholic drinks.
While it didn’t go any further than that at first, English claims Diddy later demanded she have “forced sexual intercourse” with jeweler Jacob Arabov. She also claims several other unnamed people sexually assaulted her throughout her time with the Bad Boy mogul as well. Additionally, English is suing Tamiko Thomas, who she compared to Jeffrey Epstein’s wife, Ghislaine Maxwell. She claims the woman organized the alleged sex trafficking operation. It’s unclear what amount English is seeking, but she’s cited several damages including emotional trauma, intimacy issues, painful memories, and more.
Facing numerous lawsuits throughout the last year, Diddy has consistently denied all of the allegations against him. The drama began when Cassie sued him with accusations of sexual abuse back in November 2023. Despite the two quickly settling, several more alleged victims have come forward. On Wednesday, reports surfaced that he was trying to sell his Los Angeles home for $70 million. Be on the lookout for further updates on Diddy and the latest lawsuit on HotNewHipHop.
Channel Tres has been developing one of the most unique approaches to hip-hop the genre has seen in quite a while. The Los Angeles, California native melds dance, electronic, R&B, funk, house, and hip-hop all in one. Throughout his career, which spans about six years, he has impressed on features and smaller projects. However, there has been one thing missing from the cool, calm, and collected MC’s discography. That would be a debut album, and well, it is finally here. Channel Tres named this project Head Rush, and that is quite an accurate description of what listeners will experience.
As per usual, he is bringing that unmistakable that he is known for, perhaps in a more refined manner. While there have been complaints by some die-hard fans for it being a little underwhelming, bloated, and not as ambitious, Head Rush still offers a lot. Making an album in comparison to an EP or a mixtape is a much different process, so having some missteps is not necessarily out of the ordinary. However, in that same breath, we can see some of the criticisms, as at times Channel can sound a little repetitive at times. Overall, though, the veteran does provide a lot of groovy, funky, and slightly left field bangers and it is still worth a true listen.
