Lil Durk Says The “Number One Goal” Is To Stop Violent Crime In Chicago

Lil Durk wants to put an end to violent crime in his hometown of Chicago and discussed the difficulties in doing so during a recent appearance on The Big Facts Podcast. He explained that it’s about slowing down the violence as much as possible and praised Chance The Rapper for the action he’s taken in helping out the city.

“That’s the number one goal, to stop it,” Durk began. “But, the number one priority for us in the streets and politician-wise, is to stop the violence and slow it down as much as possible. It starts with everybody just coming together. But, like I said, it’s hard because you probably got him other here thinking he that, but his young n****s don’t even respect him. So, even if he be like, ‘Come on. Let’s come together.’ They’d look at him like, ‘Get the f*ck on.’”

Angel Reese Cheers As Teammate Shoves Caitlin Clark To The Ground

Angel Reese cheered on her teammate, Chennedy Carter, as she shoved Caitlin Clark to the ground during the Indiana Fever’s 71-70 victory over the Chicago Sky on Saturday afternoon. Nearing the end of the third quarter, Carter shoulder-checked Clark as the ball was being inbounded. Despite appearing aggressive, the referees ruled it only a common foul.

When asked about the move afterward, Carter declined to answer and only responded with “next question.” Clark said that she’s trying not to let moves like that bother her. “It is what it is,” she said. “I feel like I’m just at the point where you accept it and don’t retaliate… I’m trying not to let it bother me.”

Indiana coach Christie Sides, however, says the team will be sending the play to the league for review. “We’re just gonna keep sending these possessions to the league, and these plays, and hopefully they’ll start, you know, taking a better look at some of the things that we see happening, or we think is happening,” Sides further said. “Just more happy that Caitlin handled it the way she did. Late last year, Kesha decided to switch up the lyrics to her 2009 track “Tik Tok,” omitting Diddy’s name in light of the allegations brought against him by his ex-girlfriend Cassie and several others. Since then, disturbing footage of the Bad Boy Records found physically assaulting Cassie in 2016 has surfaced online. For obvious reasons, this only compounded the explosive backlash related to everything he’s accused of.

This also appears to have prompted Kesha to double down on the lyrical change, and even take things up a notch at a recent performance. Last night, she graced the stage at WeHo Pride, where she made it extremely clear how she feels about the mogul. “Wake up in the morning like f*** P. Diddy!” she shouted onstage, flipping off the crowd alongside several backup dancers. For those who don’t recall, the original lyrics are “Wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy.”

Kesha Says “F*ck P. Diddy”

Of course, the crowd went wild, as they did when the songstress did something similar onstage with Renee Rapp at Coachella in April. It earned her praise from countless social media users and peers, including one of Diddy’s most vocal critics, 50 Cent. He took to Instagram to share his reaction to the switch-up as the clip made its rounds online. “LOL she said [middle finger emoji] Fvck P DIDDY,” he wrote. “HAHAAHAHA [eyeball emoji] PUFFY LIKE 50 TOLD HER TO SAY THAT!” Clearly, Kesha is having a major comeback, though the same certainly can’t be said for Diddy.

After the Cassie assault footage went viral, he apologized in a short Instagram video, though most viewers didn’t buy it.
