The Simpsons are jokingly known for seemingly predicting the future. On the other hand, South Park‘s strongest quality is the writers’ ability to humorously spin current events. In its South Park: The End Of Obesity, the comedy took on weight loss drug Ozempic’s rise and Lizzo’s body positivity advocacy.

Yesterday (May 25), the “Pink” singer took to Instagram to share her reaction to being mentioned in the special. “My worst fear has been actualized,” she said. “I’ve been referenced in a ‘South Park’ episode. I’m so scared.”

To summarizes the segment Lizzo reacted to, Kyle’s mother (Sheila Broflovski) and Stan’s mother (Sharon Marsh) discuss Sheila’s past concerns around her weight. Instead of taking to Ozempic or Mounjaro, Sheila opted for the fictitious diet suppressor, Lizzo. Rather than losing weight, users shake their desire to exercise or care of others opinions.

“That’s crazy,” she said. “I just feel like, ‘Damn. I’m really that b*tch.’ I’m really that b*tch. I really showed the world how to love yourself and not give a f*ck to the point where these men in Colorado know who the f*ck I am. And put it on their cartoon, that’s been around for twenty-five years. I’m really that b*tch. And I showed y’all how to not give a f*ck and I’m going to keep showing y’all not to give a f*ck.”

She closed out her reaction video by singing the episode faux jingle.

Freeway & Jake One Enlist Jadakiss For A “Ringin” New Single: Stream

Once upon a time, Freeway and Jadakiss had beef, but they’ve since moved on from it in the name of making more amazing music, not depriving fans of it. Moreover, the two lyricists slid over a Jake One beat on their new single “Ringin,” which is as tough and bombastic as you’d expect from an East Coast banger. Both MCs deliver confident and energetically delivered verses, and the instrumental’s use of boisterous horns, a stark drum break, and occasional warbled synths craft a very lavish and triumphant sound. In fact, Free’s spoken quite a bit over the last few months about how rap beef has hurt him at his core, so it’s great to see some squashing to make these remarks resonate even further.

As far as the lyrical content, Jadakiss and Freeway speak on a lot of the usual fare: the contrast between street life and industry success, material privileges, facetious spitters, hard work, et cetera. While the bars themselves aren’t particularly anything to write home about, they both deliver them in such a characteristic and unique way, whether it’s the Philly rapper’s aggressive yelps or the near-It Is What It Is cohost’s threatening growls, that they hit hard regardless. On the other hand, Jake One’s production doesn’t switch things up much either, keeping the same drum and horn loops going to provide as much space to the lyricists as possible. Some formulas are just too good to die out.

Island Boys’ Kodiyakredd Insists He Was Taken To Jail For “No Reason”

Over the weekend, it was reported that Island Boys member Franky Venegas, who also goes by Kodiyakredd, was arrested in Fort Lauderdale Friday night for various driving-related offenses. He’s accused of reckless driving, false ID, and operating a vehicle without a valid license. His twin brother and the other half of the musical duo, Flyysoulja, was quick to show him support on social media. “Free him. Flysoulja x kodiyakredd real brother got you,” he wrote on TikTok.

It appears as though the 22-year-old has since been released from police custody after getting booked into the Broward County Jail. In a new clip obtained by Daily Mail, he’s seemingly back at home as he provides fans with an update. According to him, he’s completely unbothered by the arrest. Moreover, he believes he was taken to jail for no reason.

Kodiyakredd Looks Unbothered Following Recent Arrest

“Yo, I’m going to jail for no reason bro,” he said in one clip, which was followed by his update. “I’m out by the way,” he began. “I came out early as f*ck in the morning, y’all know what time it is.” Kodiyakredd continued, lighting up and insisting he doesn’t care at all about his latest legal issues. “I’m gonna be chillin’, I don’t give a f*ck,” he explained. Unfortunately for Kodiyakredd, this wasn’t his first run-in with the police, as he was also arrested in May of last year for alleged domestic battery.

At the time, his then-girlfriend alerted authorities after he allegedly pushed her into a pool at a Florida Airbnb. She was later taken to a hospital and treated for injuries to her chin, legs and arms. He denied the allegations, and the charges were later dismissed.
