Fans were surprised by how passionate Kodak’s fandom for Jackson is in the comments section. Fivio Foreign Recalls “Dumbest” Decision He’s Ever Made

Fivio Foreign says that buying jewelry for his friends before his own family was one of the “dumbest” decisions he’s ever made. The New York rapper referenced doing so during his song, “Same 24.” When asked about the lyrics by a fan on Friday, he confirmed that it was a true story, but one he regrets.

“Can I live? All that stupid sh*t I did / I iced out the gang before I iced out my kids,” he raps on the song. “I packed out a show before I packed out my fridge. And they sayin’ they need more, that’s some disrespectful sh*t.” When asked to elaborate on the line, Fivio wrote: “I brought chains for homies b4 I brought kids jewelry.. Dumbest sh*t I ever did.” The Shade Room later shared a screenshot of the tweet on Instagram. In the comments section, Fivio added: “Learned my lesson family first.”

Jim Jones says he’s willing to bet $100,000 on a rap battle with any artist from his era. Taking to Instagram, earlier this week, he issued the challenge for his peers. He noted in the caption of his video that his first album released in 2004.

“With the exception of my #LobbyBoyz @fitlitclub this is for everyone of you old n****s lol I want smoke bad,” he wrote in the caption of his post. “Let’s start wit 100k at any studio do it live for th people to judge lol. Let’s see who excepts this challenge from my era my first album was 2004.”

Lupe Fiasco trolled a fan of Kid Cudi’s on Twitter, Saturday, following the rappers’ recent feud. In doing so, he joked that part of their truce gives him permission to beat up one fan. The user had tagged Fiasco and wrote: “@LupeFiasco I apologize for the mean things I may have said over the years, I was just mad at the feud and how you were coming for his neck yearly, I love your music n***a lmao.”

In response, Fiasco posted: “Not so fast playboy…the deal was that I get to beat up ONE of his fans as tribute. So now I’m on YO ASS!!!” While they’ve been feuding for years, the beef recently reignited when Cudi recalled avoiding Fiasco while working at a BAPE store in N.Y.C. After the interview went live, the two traded shots on social media.

Kendrick Lamar and his creative agency with Dave Free, pgLang, are credited with servicing Chanel’s new short film in promotion of the brand’s Spring-Summer 2024 Haute Couture. While Lamar soundtracked the piece with a new song, Free wrote and directed the video. The full film of the Chanel Spring-Summer 2024 Haute Couture show will release on Tuesday, January 23.

Sharing the promotional clip on Instagram, Saturday, Free wrote: “At the invitation of Virginie Viard, Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free meet the world of CHANEL Haute Couture for the first time, bringing to life a story about time and transmission. The new song is Lamar’s first solo work since his 2022 album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. In the time since, he’s focused on collaborative efforts with Baby Keem, including “The Hillbillies.” He’s also worked with Taylor Swift for the rerecorded version of her song, “Bad Blood,” as well as Beyonce for her single, “America Has a Problem.” He and Free launched pgLang in 2020 following Lamar’s departure from Top Dawg Entertainment. Life’s too short to be tied into unnecessary rap beef. If “Heaven’s Galaxy” musician Kid Cudi could repair his previously rocky relationship with Kanye West, mending things with Lupe Fiasco was a piece of cake. Shortly after Fiasco’s abrasive comments on X (formerly Twitter), the pair seems to have ironed out their issue. Unfortunately, that moment of peace didn’t last long.

However, on January 20, Cudi revealed that after a tense conversation, their beef had officially come to an end. “Just talked to Lupe,” he wrote on X. “[We] had a great talk. I know I was wrong and told him I shouldn’t have done that fuck sh*t I did. I called myself looking out for the fans in the moment, but in reality, I was just hating. During Cudi’s interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, he revealed the origins of their friction, which triggered Fiasco’s online remarks. The beef between the two music had been brewing for a long while.
