Azealia Banks Issued An Apology To Lizzo, And Then Took A Moment To Criticize Another Musician
There’s a line between trolling and flat-out bashing. Unfortunately, “Chasing Time” rapper Azealia Banks either doesn’t know the difference or doesn’t care. Banks doesn’t subscribe to the motto: if you don’t have anything nice to say, keep it to yourself. In her online ramblings, she’s taken aim at several musicians, including Joe Budden, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Doja Cat, Iggy Azalea, Lana Del Rey, and more.
But today (November 4), she’s looking to clear the slate with one musician. In a series of posts on her official Instagram page, Banks issued an apology to Lizzo for her past remarks about her physique. “I was having a conversation last night and realized that I owe Lizzo a huge apology for popping so much sh*t,” wrote Banks.
That was where the brunt of Banks’ kindness ended. On the following note, she turned her attention to her former “Taste State” collaborator Busta Rhymes, where she made several inflammatory allegations.
“If hip-hop will a 55+ several overweight Busta Rhymes, who exhibits major signs of anabolic steroid abuse, adrenal gland failure, and constipation, and will also allow him to have a face full of blackheads and acne from what appears to be testosterone shot abuse… All whilst drinking molly water in 2023 and wearing cartoon-like neon yellow fake gold Slick Rick chains… We have absolutely no right to be trying to skewer a young Black woman for anything,” wrote Banks.
In the past, Banks’ highly offensive remarks have gotten her social media accounts suspended. This defamatory rant could garner the same result.
Neither Lizzo nor Busta Rhymes have responded to Azealia Banks’ comments.

DDG Calls Hip-Hop “Dry” & Ask For “Rock & Roll Beats”
DDG hinted at experimenting outside of hip-hop on Twitter, Friday, while labeling the genre “dry.” Instead, he expressed interest in venturing into either country music or rock & roll. In his tweet, he wrote: “Hip hop so dry i might start doing country music.. matter fact somebody send me some rock & roll beats.”
Fans didn’t seem excited about the idea of DDG moving outside of hip-hop. When The Shade Room shared the post on Instagram, one joked: “Not him threatening us with more music.” Another added: “He a stay at home daddy now. Leave the music to Halle [Bailey].” Others defended the rapper with one commenting: “The fact that yall act like ddg makes bad music [laughing emoji] his music is GOOD.”

It’s just fireworks, a spark for creativity.” She also added: “You know, you have puppy love experiences, you think that’s love. Crip Mac Blasts Adam 22 For Mentioning Him During Sidney Starr Interview
Recently, Adam 22 sat down for an interview with Sidney Starr. During the interview, the Love & Hip Hop: New York cast member suggested that they sleep together, later inviting his wife Lena the Plug to join them. While she seems to be fairly attracted to Adam and Lena, one person she made it clear she wasn’t interested in was Crip Mac. The No Jumper host showed her a photo of him during the interview, to which Sidney replied, “he is not my type at all.”
Crip Mac has now responded to the interview, taking aim at Adam for bringing him up. “Adam, you custer motherf*cker,” he began. He went on to say some transphobic things about Sidney Starr. “Don’t play with me with that custer a** sh*t,” he said. Obviously, Crip Mac didn’t appreciate the shoutout, and isn’t interested in hooking up with Sidney either. “Quit playing with my name,” he added.

Crip Mac Pops Off On Adam 22
Adam 22 isn’t the only person Crip Mac’s called out as of late, however. Earlier this week, he came for N3on for failing to believe rumors that his girlfriend is cheating on him. The personality went in, insisting that the streamer leave her. “You scrawny, peasant motherf*cker,” he began. “How the hell are you going to tell me that you believe when she say she celibate? You ain’t f*cking, but she let somebody else? Her coochie and a**hole open. N***a get yourself together, hood. Or I’ll have you 50-50 in that baby snaps alley. You a little scrawny scrawny boy. I’m not a bully, cuh. Imma have another youngun like firefly come beat your a**.”
“Don’t that sitch play you, hood. Block her number and never contact her again. She another snake. Can I keep it 55th street? Get it fivegether, N3on hood,” Crip Mac added. The last of the eight teams to qualify for the play-in stage will be determined by a preliminary qualification tournament.
Furthermore, the Worlds Qualifying Series will pit the fourth seed from Europe against the fourth seed from North America. Subsequently, The winner of this best-of-five series will compete in the Worlds play-in stage. Additionally, this was won by Team BDS, who beat Golden Guardians.
Additionally, the Worlds group stage has been replaced by a Swiss Stage format. Furthermore, teams will play a maximum of five matches, with their opponents determined by their previous results. NBA YoungBoy Drops Surprise New Single & Music Video, “Slime Examination”: Stream
NBA YoungBoy is hand-down one of the most prolific rappers working right now, and to no one’s surprise, he’s still down to keep that work ethic up. Moreover, he just dropped a surprise new single and music video, “Slime Examination,” and it’s a doozy to say the least. The likely divisive track might be a single to the Baton Rouge MC’s upcoming fourth album of 2023, Decided 2, which will be a sequel to his previous 2018 project. Even if it’s not, the music video shows a good indication of where he’s at in his life right now: cars, some female friends, family, luxury within a closed circle. It’s exactly the kind of aspirational but also at-arms-length presentation that YB embodies.
However, you may be wondering why we predict that this will be a divisive track. That’s because YoungBoy’s vocals around the choruses and bridges is very shrill, perhaps the most strained that his voice has ever been up against a melody. Still, for all his online haters, you can’t deny that it isn’t at least a passionate performance from him. Lyrically, the 24-year-old talks about trying to find a balance between the streets, grief, his family, and his career. If you know his personal history and how he’s requesting a change in his house arrest due to his mental health, you know how hard the intersection of these topics hits.

NBA YoungBoy’s “Slime Examination”: Watch The Music Video
Meanwhile, the instrumental here is pretty basic for the “Heard Of Me” artist: sad guitar licks, dry trap rhythms, and an overall minimal atmosphere. It might not be the best beat ever, but for hardcore fans, his vocal performance might be enough to carry it over the edge and increase hype for Decided 2, which drops next week (November 10). On that note, if you haven’t heard “Slime Examination” yet, find it on YouTube, as it isn’t on traditional streaming services as of writing this article. Let us know what you think about it in the comments and peep some standout bars below. As always, log back into HNHH for more on YoungBoy and the latest great hip-hop each week.

Rubi Rose & N3on Keep It Tight On Livestream Together: Watch
You’d be hard-pressed to find an up-and-coming celebrity- or established ones, for that matter- that aren’t tapping into the streaming world. Moreover, Rubi Rose just linked up with N3on for a livestream, and the popular streamer looked like he was having a great time. They chatted for a bit, and the popular streamer showed for better or worse why he gives off such strong “Can I get a hug?” energy. Regardless of how much people make fun of his awkwardness or his often controversial takes on women, people still eat this up. What’s more is that, when they originally announced that they would meet, people even roped dating rumors into the debacle.
For those unaware, N3on recently defended his girlfriend Samantha Frank after many accused her of cheating on him. “Please have some respect,” he expressed on social media. “If u f**k with me u will let me do what makes me happy. She genuinely makes me happy and keeps me going. Please let me live my life. I love y’all fr and appreciate y’all for caring about me so much. Best community in the world. [heart emoji].”
N3on Asks Rubi Rose For A Hug And Tells Her She Smells Great: Watch
Furthermore, Rubi Rose is also dealing with her fair share of fling speculation and responses, although it’s not as contentious as N3on’s case. For example, fans recently went wild when online footage surfaced of her kissing another man. Nevertheless, the rapper went on to affirm that she’s very much single, and did so through one of her many thirst traps. After all, she’s the muse of so many people online; what better way does she have to communicate that through?
Well, there’s an answer for that which also applies to how the streamer will deal with discussion about him: her career. No matter what they’re known for, you can bet on these individuals moving at their own pace and making their money as they see fit. They don’t mind all the attention as long as it gets them closer to their goals, and as accountable as they should be for certain things, they are just trying to have fun and engage with fans at the end of the day. On that note, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on N3on and Rubi Rose.

Brandy’s “Christmas Party for Two” Single Will Get You In The Holiday Spirit Early This Year
The first week of November may seem a bit early for some to be blasting Christmas music, but according to Brandy, there’s no time like the present to prepare for the season of giving. This past New Music Friday (Nov. 3), the songbird unveiled her first solo original holiday song, titled “Christmas Party for Two.” The sultry single is the first we’ve heard from next week’s festive album, and based on what she’s serving up vocally, we’re sure things will only get hotter as we celebrate Christmas With Brandy on November 10.
Brandy’s new arrival boasts production by Ron “Neff-U” Feemster and David Williams III, which beautifully compliments her singing. “Let me sit beside ya / I warmed up some cider / I’ll relax your mind ’cause / I can recognize you need someone to make you feel the way that I do,” she croons on the first verse. When the chorus comes around, she lyricizes about getting undressed for her lover, and being his present in exchange for feeling his presence with her. “That’s all that I’m askin’ of you,” Brandy promises him.

Azealia Banks Apologizes To Lizzo, Goes After Busta Rhymes
Azealia Banks had a busy night on Instagram, dishing out apologies and disses all over the place. “I was having a conversation last night and realized that I owe @lizzobeeating a huge apology for popping so much shit. If hip hop will allow a 55+ severely overweight @bustarhymes who exhibits major of anabolic steroid abuse, adrenal gland failure, and constipation. And will also allow him to have a face full of blackheads and acne from what appears to be a testosterone shot abuse. And whilst drinking molly water in 2023 and wearing cartoon-like Neon yellow fake gold slick Rick chains. We have absolutely no right to be trying to skewered a YOUNG black woman – for anything,” Banks wrote.
While most people remember Banks’ infamous 2019 rant in which she said she hated Lizzo and her “fake a– body positivity”. However, this is not the first time that Banks has defended Lizzo. Last year, she went after Kanye after he took aim at Lizzo’s weight. “[Kanye] can’t be trying to lollipop off the 4 year old discussion about Lizzo’s health and weight when he has an entire McDonald’s commercial,” Banks said on social media.

Banks Goes After Diddy & Yung Miami
However, Busta is just the latest person that Banks has launched a vicious rant against. Last month, she turned her attention on the on-and-off couple of Diddy and Yung Miami. “Can we also stop pretending like @diddy has done anything for hip-hop or Black people?…[coercing] artists into compromising sexual encounters to blackmail them,” Banks wrote while also accusing Diddy of stealing and alcoholism.
As her rant continued, the Banks went after Diddy for “stealing” his ex, Cassie, from Ryan Leslie. Banks then noted that Diddy did “absolutely nothing with her for over a decade”. She also went after his alcohol brand. “I don’t think [Diddy] understands that Ciroc isn’t considered a luxury brand. Because I truly don’t think he knows just how uncouth and ghetto he himself is.” Furthermore, she also turned around and took aim at Yung Miami. “Think about it, it took 25 years of stealing, doing drugs, and getting drunk to just now have cracked a $1 billion net worth. What’s he got to show for it? Caresha?” Banks can always be trusted to be beefing with someone, even when she’s making a return to music.
