DDG And Halle Bailey Share A Photo From Beyoncé’s “Renaissance World Tour”

Rapper and former YouTube star, DDG, and actress and singer, Halle Bailey, continue to show their true love for another anytime they can. As far as we know the couple has been official since the end of March 2022 and like most relationships, especially in the celebrity world, they can have their tough moments. For example, there was a lot of speculation that DDG was cheating on Halle with his ex-girlfriend and rapper, Rubi Rose. The artist decided to release a song about Rubi, “Way Too Petty,” after Rubi was sharing communications with him.

That is just one example of the couple facing the heat from outsiders but, Halle put it best in a statement she made about social media and how it can tear apart what you have. She goes, “The biggest thing I’ve learned in dating when it comes to dating in the public eye, is that everybody’s gonna have an opinion about you, whether it’s good or bad. I think because I’ve grown up, kind of in the public eye, people think they have this sort of… I don’t know, that they can say what they feel about my life. Like they do with everyone in the public eye,” Halle elaborates. “But I’ve realized, for me, I just go with my heart.” That is extremely wise of the Little Mermaid star to share for anyone going through a rough patch in their love life.

DDG and Halle Bailey seem to continue to live out that mantra, as the two were looking goofy and lovey in a recent photo. In the picture, the couple is getting nice and comfortable while they watch Beyoncé perform one of her shows in Los Angeles from this past Labor Day weekend. DDG is making a smoochy face, while Halle is sticking her tongue out in the direction of her man. The caption on the image reads, “goodnight” with the crying laughing emoji. It is sweet to see the two living their best life together and we wish them nothing but love and peace going forward!

Miami billionaire Patrick Carroll gave back again on his “Kicks for Kids” tour, this time in the Windy City, Chicago! Just in time for the new school year, on August 29th, the well-known philanthropist gifted truckloads of trendy sneakers to the kids at Union League Boys & Girls Club- Chicago / Club One.  It’s the 5th city in his quest to donate a Million Dollars worth of sneakers to underprivileged kids across the US. All donations made are self funded straight from Patrick Carroll’s heart to serve and pay it forward with zero sponsors involved. The day was filled with video games, Chicagos very own sports team mascots “Staley Da Bear” Chicago Cubs and “Tommy Hawk” Chicago Bears, pizza, a DJ, live art demo, celebrity friends, and brand new high end sneakers! Next wing of the tour soon to be announced upon Patrick Carroll’s quest. 

Carroll says, “There’s no better feeling than seeing the kid’s faces filled with excitement when they get a new pair of really cool sneakers. They’re surprised and so happy at the same time. I don’t know of a more genuine and fulfilling experience than I could imagine. 

As cliche as it sounds, the message I give the kids is, “If I can do it, anyone can do it.” I am far from your typical success story. I got in some trouble growing up, didn’t go to college, and I’m basically self-taught. I think, especially these days, it’s important for the kids to understand the message, “Work hard for your dreams and you too can live the American dream.”

So far, the self-made tycoon has given away $500,000 worth of this season’s most sought-after sneakers to underprivileged kids in Tampa and Miami, Florida, Atlanta, GA., New York City and now Chicago!

The real estate mogul and father of three boys, commissioned famed sneaker aficionado, Ben Kickz, aka the “Sneaker Don”, to bring a Brinks truck filled with 600 pairs of high-end sneakers to distribute to members of the Boys & Girls Club to different locations at a time across the U.S. 

Carroll continues his nationwide campaign to give away $1 million worth of sneakers throughout ten Boys & Girls clubs across the US. He loves seeing the boy’s and girls’ faces light up upon receiving their sneakers. This leg of the tour was at the

Blueface Explains Why He Hasn’t Publicly Acknowledged Chrisean Rock’s Baby

While Chrisean Rock was in labor, Blueface was partying with the mother of his first child. It’s not necessarily surprising, given that he and Chrisean have called it quits. Still, there was plenty of criticism for the rapper. Leading up to their son’s birth, Blueface hasn’t proven to be interested in raising a family with her. Despite being together for years, he found it hard to believe that the child was his in the first place. Still, Chrisean, who named her son after herself, kept fans updated on the birth of her son via Instagram Live.

These days, Blueface seems to be committed to Jaidyn Alexis, the mother of his first son. The rapper took to Twitter where he admitted to his wrongdoings before leaping into his stance with Chrisean. “Jaidyn left me when rock got Johnathans p**sy tatted that’s the only reason for all of this…I was being a narcissistic thinking a female that left me must be dumb but I was the dumb one fr cuz instead of chasing after her I took someone else in thinking she could fill them shoes,” he wrote.

Blueface & Chrisean Welcome A Baby Boy

While Blueface and Chrisean’s issues were highly publicized in the first place, the “Thotiana” rapper said that he wanted to deal with their matters privately, especially since there is a child involved. “I’m just tryna make it right at this point cuz there is a baby involved an it’s deeper then rap an went further then it should have but y’all won’t let me smh Jaidyn don’t like the conversation if it’s not about me an her,” he continued.

Ultimately, Blueface took accountability for the entirety of the situation. He commended Alexis’ loyalty, claiming that Chrisean only pretended to be loyal. “Imagine you being loyal to a N***a for 10 years n he get distracted by somebody portraying to be as loyal for clout in the end she get a kid outta of it an now the conversation never ends I was wrong an I’m tryna make it right I’ve had one BM till now for a reason,” Blueface concluded. Kid Cudi Unleashes “ILL WHAT I BLEED”/MOST AIN’T DENNIS” After “INSANO” Is Pushed Back

Well, it turns out we are not getting Kid Cudi’s highly-anticipated album, INSANO next week. It is heartbreaking for us and for all of the fans out there. However, it is not so bad because Scott Mescudi has just released a two-pack of sorts with these new singles from the upcoming project. “ILL WHAT I BLEED” and “MOST AIN’T DENNIS” are out now SoundCloud only as of now. It is unclear if they will make their way to other streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music. But, let us be happy that we get to hear more of what Cudi calls this LP, “amazing.”

We got word of these two songs dropping in a tweet from Cudi a short while ago. He writes to his eager fans, “The good news is, since im doin this and I know you are all feinding to get a listen of the album, im releasing 2 new jams from INSANO tn on soundcloud.” Kid Cudi continues, “Just for you. (And I promise I wont take them down) These songs are some of my favorites on the album and I really think you’ll dig em. Im sorry for the delay everyday but im a perfectionist. And things gotta be right. I love yall!!! Enjoy! -Scott.” We can see why the Cleveland native favors these tracks the most, because they sound incredible.

Beyonce Brings Out Kendrick Lamar In Los Angeles On Renaissance World Tour

Beyonce surprised fans in Los Angeles on Monday night by bringing out Kendrick Lamar for her Renaissance World Tour concert. In doing so, the two performed their latest collaboration, a remix of “America Has a Problem,” for the first time live. The show was the last of three concerts at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Unfortunately for fans in attendance, the moment didn’t come without its technical difficulties. According to fans on social media, Lamar’s mic was cutting out during the performance. The Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers rapper wasn’t the only guest to appear during the show. Diana Ross also serenaded Beyonce in celebration of her birthday earlier in the night.

Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar have collaborated numerous times over the years. They worked with one another on “Freedom” off of Beyonce’s Lemonade album in 2016, as well as “NILE” from The Lion King soundtrack in 2019. Speaking with Rolling Stone in 2017, Lamar reflected on collaborating with the legendary singer. “How particular to be about your music,” he said. “She’s a perfectionist. Think about the BET performance. She was very particular — the lighting, the camera blocking, the transition from the music to the dancing. It was confirmation of something I already knew.”

Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour recently became the highest-grossing tour by a female musician ever, earning over $450 million. The previous record-holder was Madonna with her Sticky & Sweet Tour in 2008. Beyonce will be performing in Vancouver, Seattle, Arlington, Houston, New Orleans, and more over the next month before wrapping up the tour in Kansas City on October 1. When it comes to the world of the NBA, there have been many players who have indulged in making music. Overall, there are some talented individuals who have done this. For instance, you have the likes of Allen Iverson, Shaq, Damian Lillard, Stephen Jackson, and even Kobe Bryant. However, these athletes have had varying degrees of success when it comes to rapping. That said, there has long been a debate centered around who is the best NBA rapper of all-time. In the contemporary era of the NBA, most would look toward Damian Lillard. However, those who know the history would likely say Shaq. After all, Shaq was a pioneer in this space. He dropped numerous albums in the 90s, and they all did very well commercially. Recently, Snoop Dogg weighed in on the debate, and as it turns out, he did, indeed, pick Shaq.

“@shaq greatest NBA rapper of all time,” Snoop said simply. Overall, this is a pretty good choice. After all, Snoop was killing it in the 90s when Shaq would have been dropping his albums. At this point, the NBA legend has built up quite the resume in music. However, these days, he is mostly focused on his job as a DJ. He even dropped a new album that is filled with songs that will have fans reminiscing about the dubstep days. Today In Hip Hop History: Young MC Released His Debut Album ‘Stone Cold Rhymin’ 34 Years Ago

On this date over three decades ago, a blue collar rapper from Queens by the name of Young MC dropped his debut album Stone Cold Rhymin’ on the Delicious Vinyl imprint.

There wasn’t much fanfare to the album besides the rapper/actor’s legendary “Bust A Move” track, which received a platinum plaque about a year after its release, appeared in popular silver screen classics such as Dude, Where’s My Car and the 2017 Stephen King horror flick It. The song continues to stand the test of time.

With musical genius Quincy Jones behind the boards for Mr. Marvin Young’s debut, the 13 track full length studio album was a sure shot hit for its time and has secured Young MC a place in Hip Hop history.

Sean "Diddy" Combs to Receive Global Icon Award and Perform at 2023 "VMAs"

Hip-hop legend and mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is set to receive the prestigious Global Icon Award and deliver a performance at the 2023 “VMAs.” The event will be broadcast live from New Jersey’s Prudential Center on Tuesday, September 12th at 8 PM ET/PT.

Diddy’s remarkable career and lasting influence, spanning over three decades with two #1 albums on the Billboard 200 and five #1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100, have earned him the Global Icon Award. This appearance marks his highly anticipated return to the iconic MTV stage since 2005.

In addition to this honor, Diddy is nominated for four other awards this year for his work on “Creepin” (Remix) and “Gotta Move On,” including two for “Best Collaboration,” as well as “Best Rap” and “Best R&B.”

The Global Icon Award, originally from MTV’s Europe Music Awards (EMAs), recognizes artists or bands with unparalleled careers and global influence. Diddy also hosted the MTV Europe Music Award in 2002.

Diddy’s history with the “VMAs” includes memorable moments dating back to his debut performance of “Mo Money Mo Problems” in 1997 and hosting the event in 2005. He has won Moon Person awards for “Best R&B Video” (1997) and “Viewer’s Choice” (1998) during his first year as a nominee.

Salute to Diddy for showing the Bad Boy Records artists love. Cam’ron revealed last week Ma$e was getting his publishing, but he isn’t the only artist. All Bad Boy artists did.

According to TMZ, Diddy turned down a nine-figure deal so he could give the publishing to Ma$e, Faith Evans, The Lox, 112, The Notorious B.I.G.’s estate, and more. Diddy is also giving publishing to the writers.

Diddy was reportedly approached by people who wanted to buy the publishing rights, instead opting to empower artists in the hope the music business would follow him as an example.

On Thursday (Aug. 30), Dipset general and ‘It Is What It Is” host Cam’Ron tipped off the move with his It Is What It Is co-host and longtime friend Ma$e.

Cam wrote, “My n***a murder had to sit this one out. He just got his publishing back from Puff. Just finished the paper work for that yesterday. Congrats @rsvpmase while he getting his music back in order, I’m dumping my hard drive pause. The lost files vol 1. Sept 8.” 

After Ma$e claimed that his former boss and Bad Boy founder Diddy gave him a modest $20K for his publishing, the “Harlem World” slang spitter said he offered Diddy $2 million for his publishing back in 2020, but Mr. Combs refused his offer.
