Paul George Reveals His Opinion On Westbrook Returning To LA

Paul George was unavailable for the Los Angeles Clippers for the 2023 NBA Playoffs. The Clippers star suffered an injury in late March that sealed his post-season fate. However, George wasn’t the only Clippers star to miss playoff action. A sprained knee sidelined Kawhi Leonard. However, the injuries were insurmountable, as the team was sent home in the opening round by the Phoenix Suns. In a what could have been scenario for a team that has a lot of talent when at full health.

However, one Clippers star gave everything he had in the series. Russell Westbrook was a late addition to the Los Angeles roster. But quickly earned the trust of his teammates in a trying time. While Westbrook’s future with the franchise is uncertain. Although George is strong in his belief on what the team should do with Westbrook. On a recent episode of George’s podcast sponsored by Wave Sports + Entertainment, the former all-star thinks Westbrook has found a home.

Paul George Wants To See Westbrook Return

Here’s an excerpt of what Geroge had to say about the situation. “He proved that he is a leader. He proved that he’s got a lot left in the tank and for a team like us, the more guys that can be versatile, the better for us. To have a playmaker, have a leader, have a score, just a floor general, a rebounder, he just covers so many holes and wears so many hats. He’s everywhere…He’s just so valuable. We saw what it looks like [and] we know it works. We know it can be successful. We gotta get him back. I want him back.”

Westbrook’s effort and talent have never been questioned. As the former Oklahoma City star has the accolades and hardware to prove it. However, since leaving OKC, Westbrook has yet to find a place to fit in. His tenures with the Rockets and Lakers were forgettable moments. But something about the Clippers could be different. George would love to see his friend return next season. Do you believe the Clippers will side with Paul George and bring Westbrook back? Let us know what you think in the comment section. Ice Spice is doing it up and doing it big. It was just announced via TMZ that the Bronx rapper will be attending tonight’s Met Gala. Not only that, she will be attending as a special guest of Anna Wintour herself. It is a huge honor for the rapper as many don’t ever get the honor of being a special guest of the person who controls the entire event. TMZ has also reported that the hitmaker will be wearing a custom-designed Balmain look.

Ice is everywhere these days. She is one of the latest viral sensations who is experiencing a huge amount of fame due to TikTok. Last year, she dropped her acclaimed EP, Like..?. Since then, Ice has been hailed as the new princess of rap. She has been praised by contemporaries and even given the co-sign by industry legends like Nicki Minaj. The duo recently released their collaboration, “Princess Diana.” The song was originally part of Ice’s EP, but Nicki hopped on the remix with a killer verse. Swizz Beatz Says DMX Only Made “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem” After Losing A Bet

Swizz Beatz says that DMX only hopped on the “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem” beat because he lost a bet. The legendary producer discussed the making of DMX’s hit song during an interview on SiriusXM’s Hip-Hop Nation, last week.

“So I was in Atlanta in school and then, um, they got the project to where it was at and then I came in last minute with ‘Stop Drop,’” Swizz told host Gray Rizzy. “X lost a bet or I wouldn’t even been on that album, you know what I’m saying? But he didn’t lose the bet because that song ended up changing all of our lives. So he technically won the bet for my Uncle D and you know that just changed all of our lives. So it was just enough to do what it needed to do.”

“Ruff Ryders’ Anthem” was released as the third single from DMX’s debut studio album, It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot, in 1998. While it originally peaked at number 93 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the song went on to be one of the most iconic of DMX’s career and made its way up to number 16 in the wake of his death.

Swizz Beatz continued: “You know, like that song commercially went bigger than everything at the time. And then we came immediately, uh, with our sound next after that and Dame Grease and PK was a part of that as well. I wanna get [them] they props cuz they, people they feel that they don’t get they props. I’m in a comfortable space to give people they props. At those particular times we was definitely bumping the little heads and things like that, but we all was a part of making history at the end of the day. It was all musical stuff. Wasn’t no street vibes like that, you know what I’m saying? And so I was young and hungry. They was young and hungry. They had to get it. I had to get it. So that’s like when you look at the whole thing, it was just really based on that, you know what I’m saying?”

North West Visits NYC With Kim Kardashian, Fans Think 9-Year-Old May Attend Met Gala

At just nine years old, North West has a resume that some adults can only dream of. The young fashionista is certainly afforded with plenty of opportunities thanks to her nepo baby status, but that doesn’t mean the world hasn’t enjoyed watching every one of her creative endeavours. In the past, she’s been on stage with stars like Sia and Katy Perry, as well as her dad, Kanye West, and she’ll even be making her feature film debut alongside her mom in the coming months. Aside from all of that, speculation is now brewing that North will be in attendance at tonight’s (May 1) annual Met Gala.

Earlier this year, reports claimed that none of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters will be walking the red carpet for the 2023 event. Kim shut that down a few days ago with an Instagram post detailing her costume-choosing process. Now, she’s been hanging out in New York City with North. Rather than her famous siblings, the SKIMS founder brought Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian’s ex, along for the trip to care for his daughter, Penelope. Cameras caught the family members on Saturday (April 29), all wearing beautiful Chanel outfits while adventuring through the Big Apple.

It remains unclear if we’ll be seeing the Kardashian cousins along with hundreds of other famous faces at Anna Wintour’s function this evening, though they’re obviously still getting in on the Karl Lagerfeld couture fun. Penelope’s mom only attended for the first time in 2022, though Kim has been a staple since first attending with Ye in the early days of their relationship. It remains unclear which fashion house she’ll be wearing later tonight, though the double C’s on her weekend outfit may be an indication of what’s to come.

Others who have already confirmed their attendance include Rihanna, who took over NYC in a fuzzy Chanel outfit on Saturday, as well as Ice Spice, who’s being dressed by Balmain for her big debut. Who are you hoping to see at this evening’s Met Gala? Let us know in the comments, and tap back in with HNHH later for more pop culture news updates.
