Andrew Tate On “Drink Champs”: N.O.R.E. Faces Backlash For Extending Invite To Podcaster

Since its 2016 inception, Drink Champs hosts N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN have interviewed a slew of incredible guests, including Pusha T, Amber Rose, and Irv Gotti. While the show is primarily about conversing with figures who have had a significant impact on the culture and giving them their flowers, sometimes they choose to deviate from the norm. Unfortunately, it seems Noreaga’s most recent attempt to do just that earned him some serious hate online.

In wake of Andrew Tate’s release from Romanian jail last week, the 45-year-old hopped on Twitter to suggest that he make an appearance on Drink Champs. “Do we want [him] on [the show]?” N.O.R.E. asked his followers on Friday (March 31) evening. Before long, countless replies clowning the very notion of the controversial figure sitting down with DJ EFN and his co-host. “The weakness that has,” one meme-reply reads. “The stupidity that that has, the denial that that has. The exclusion that has, the impotence that that has, the absence that has. The restricted implications that has.”

N.O.R.E. Invites Embattled Entertainer on “Drink Champs”

While he’s no longer spending most of his time in a small cell, Tate is still on house arrest, leading B-boy Crazy Legs to question if an appearance on Drink Champs would qualify as “work release.” Many others made it known that they’re strongly opposed to the idea, writing, “Say April Fools, it’s ok to be an hour early,” and “Yeeeah the culture is done.” As the backlash has continued to pour in, N.O.R.E. made it known on Sunday (April 2), that he was only kidding when posting the initial inquiry.

In response to a post asking, “What does he even contribute to hip-hop, or people? #toxic #misogyny,” the “Oh No” rapper clarified, “I was joking!!” Even with this explanation, some are continuing to lash out at the media personality for even thinking of giving a platform to someone facing accusations of human trafficking, among other things. [WATCH] Teyana Taylor To Play Dionne Warwick In Upcoming Biopic

Teyana Taylor has been showing her acting skills and she’s not slowing down any time soon. The actor/director just revealed that she landed the role to play legendary soul singer Dionne Warwick in an upcoming biopic.

During a recent interview with The Tamron Hall Show, the Harlem songstress spoke about Warwick handpicking her for the role.

“We’re already working on it,” Teyana Taylor confirmed. “We’re in the building process right now. I’ve always wanted to make sure like, I could lock in with any person that I would be playing, you know? How Angela and Tina [Turner] was, how Jamie Foxx and Ray Charles, you know what I’m saying? Like, to really get to know them and I miss when movies was like that, when you get to know them and tap in and just bond.”

She continued: “We talk almost everyday. That’s my girl. Me, her, and her son. I mean, I’ve always been a firm believer in just always standing on safety. She’s had a wonderful career, you know, and I think right now it’s about making her feel as safe as possible so she can tell her story. A lot of these stories get misconstrued or extremely dramatized to an extent and that’s not where we want to go.”

Durand Bernarr’s Tiny Desk Concert Was An Epic ‘The Proud Family’ Musical Cosplay Jam Session

Durand Bernarr has come a long way since competing on the BET reality competition show The Next Big Thing. The independent singer and songwriter has worked with Grammy Award-winning artists Erykah Badu, Anderson .Paak, and Kaytranada, to name a few. But his latest album Wanderlust has fans confident that his time accepting the coveted award is coming soon.

Back by his band Tithe And Offering, drummer Frank Moka, keyboardist Devin Smith, guitarist Sam Hoffman (support keyboardist), and bassist Egberto “Budda” Foster, Jr., Durand brought his signature blends of funk, soul, and R&B to NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series. After his introduction, the musician was sure to light an incent to set the mode before opening with “Leveled,” off Wanderlust. With his background singers Terron Austin, Roy Pattern, Jr., and Jason Paul, Durand quicking turns the room out with his buttery vocals.

Other songs included in his setlist include “Chops (Reprise from STUCK.),” “Sam’s Vibe,” “Company,” “Mango Butter,” “Relocate,” “Freefall,” “STUCK,” and “Melody.”

During one of his chats with the crowd, he declared, “I’m not meant to be understood; I’m meant to be experienced,” and there’s no argument there. Outside of the stellar musicality displayed by the singer, the background vocalist, and the live instrumentalists, Durand gave the at-home viewers something to bite into as everyone was dressed in the Disney show The Proud Family cosplay. Fans took to social media to react to the fun early Halloween wardrobe from the musicians.

Of course, Durand and crew couldn’t help but sing the show’s theme song in a clip uploaded to Twitter.

Young Thug Let Out Of Jail To Attend Angela Grier’s Funeral: Report

Since he was unexpectedly arrested on May 9, 2022, Young Thug has been through one of the most gruelling years of his life. He’s given up his lavish rapper lifestyle for a prison cell that affords him none of his past luxuries. Additionally, he’s lost some of those closest to him. There’s his seemingly tarnished friendship with Gunna. This follows the DS4EVER hitmaker’s decision to take an Alford plea in their RICO case. Elsewhere, he’s been challenged with the death of close friends and family members.

Days after Thugger was placed behind bars, on May 13, a YSL artist who luckily wasn’t caught up in the investigation, Lil Keed, tragically lost his life. The “Freak” artist was just 24 years old at the time, and his death was reportedly a result of eosinophilia. The late recording artist’s brother, Lil Gotit, previously detailed his attempt to help the late star by rushing him to the hospital. Unfortunately, nothing could be done to save Keed. Now, Young Thug is facing more tragic news in the form of his older sister, Angela Grier’s sudden death.

Thugger Mourns His Older Sister

The announcement came via Dolly White, another of the incarcerated artist’s siblings, at the end of March. At this time, the details surrounding Grier’s death remain unknown. Nevertheless, new reports claim that her brother was allegedly granted a temporary release from jail in order to attend her funeral. No photos from the event have surfaced online. However, a tweet circulating alleges that “They let lil Jeff come see his sister🥰” as the YSL head continues to await his highly anticipated trial.

Word of Young Thug’s reported release – even if only temporary – left many fans feeling happy for the 31-year-old. “Awwww I was hoping they would,” one Twitter user wrote in response to the initial post. “Lol yes they did. N*gga had on a suit and Air Force 1’s,” the same account noted. The simple but effective description provides fans with a mental visual of what the So Much Fun hitmaker looked like on the sombre day. Chrisean Rock Throws Vase At Blueface On Instagram Live: Watch

Just a few days ago, Blueface informed his Twitter followers that he believes his mother, Karlissa Saffold, is the most toxic person in his relationship with Chrisean Rock. Since then, the 26-year-old’s opinion may have changed, as he took to Instagram Live on Saturday (April 1) to give followers an up close and personal look into his tumultuous love life. During his stream, the rapper and his girlfriend were feuding – as per usual – though this time was particularly intense as she threw a vase at him while the camera was still rolling.

In a clip reposted by HipHopDX, Rock insists that her man stop recording her and “get off of Live!” but Blueface refuses to give in to her wishes. “Just leave me alone!” he yells, prompting the 22-year-old to walk over to a table, where she picked up a vase full of flowers. “Bro, if you throw that at me, I swear to God, I’ma beat your f*cking…” the Californian declares before the decorative object hits him. “I don’t care! Get off of Live!” the reality starlet responds.

Crazy In Love Stars Continue to Feud

Later on, in the same video, the “Thotiana” hitmaker makes it known that streaming on Instagram is going to be the thing to “save [him].” He told Rock and fans tuning in, “When you’re found f*cked up, and you go on Live like you do — this is for my safety now.” It remains unclear exactly what Blueface and Chrisean were fighting over this time, though there’s been no shortage of topics that have caused them trouble in the past.

Among them is the Baddies star’s rising popularity within the rap community. This seems to be a point of insecurity for her man, as well as Rock’s apparent pregnancy. When she first announced that she’s with child at the start of 2023, Blueface denied paternity and has even since urged her to get an abortion.
