Chrisean Rock Gets Her Tooth Fixed & Says She Wants A Gap

Last week, Chrisean Rock vowed to fix the most attention-grabbing part of her appearance. For two years, the reality television personality lived her life without having a front tooth. After it got knocked out during an episode of Blueface’s “Blue Girls’ Club,” she decided to keep the look and make it a part of her brand.

For what seemed like forever, Rock wore her smile confidently and didn’t keep it hidden from the world. Nonetheless, all good things must come to an end, because earlier this week, the Baltimore native filled the gap that sat in the front row of her mouth. She went to Dr. Trevor J. Thomas, a dentist residing in California.

For her first session, Rock admitted that she had been nervous, and urged the orthodontist to give her anesthesia to make her feel better. However, by her second session, she seemed excited and ready to look like her old self.

The entire procedure was documented, and the aftermath was caught on camera as both Rock and her boyfriend, Blueface, went live to share the moment with their supporters. While recording herself, Rock stated, “I want a gap, though,” to which Dr. Thomas responded, “We can make a gap. When you’re done healing, I can make you a gap, I can do whatever the hell you want to, but just let it heal.”

Blueface, who was against Rock’s wishes, asked, “You want a gap?” Seemingly upset by his reaction, Rock explained to him that she’d had a gap before and that her new tooth was bigger than the one beside it.

Check out clips from the process below.

Dougie B Is Explosive On “Uzi”

Dougie B has proven himself to be an important figure in New York’s drill scene. In April, he delivered a killer feature on Kay Flock’s 2022 New York anthem “Shake It,” which also featured Cardi B and Bory300. Lately, he’s been releasing a string of singles, including “I’m Back” and “Forever On That.”

Dougie B’s newest song, “Uzi,” finds the rapper going as hard as ever. On a drill beat which makes use of a dramatic string section, Dougie talks big talk, warning adversaries not to mess with him and detailing the success he’s been seeing. “I got this s**t in the headlock,” the rapper announces in his typically gravelly delivery. His flow is high energy and relentless; it seems like he barely stops to take a breath in the song’s two and a half minute runtime.

It’s a brief but enticing taste of what’s to come from Dougie B. At only 20 years of age, the rapper is just getting started. Check out the single below, and let us know what you make of it in the comments.

Quotable Lyrics

Pop a pill more, than four when I geek
And when I pour a four, I need more, I don’t dream
Never sober or sore off a E, too tweaked
Too different me when I’m off a bean

Cardi B Says Tune In To The BET Awards For A “Special Surprise”

For over 20 years, BET, which stands for Black Entertainment Television, has been delivering award shows like no other. Bringing together some of the hottest artists in the industry, the network manages to provide concerts, conduct interviews, and pay homage to celebs that have paved the way.

Tomorrow (June 26), the BET Awards will take place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Actress and entrepreneur, Taraji P. Henson will be the host, and Diddy is set to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. BET has also hinted at what artists will be performing at the esteemed show. So far, they’ve revealed that Lil Wayne, Latto, Chloe Bailey, Roddy Ricch, Ella Mai, and others will be hitting the stage.

While some musicians like to keep their appearances a secret, one artist, in particular, decided to tease her fans. Cardi B, known for her hit records and joyous personality, hopped on Instagram live to let her supporters know that they can expect to see her at the award show.

“Y’all tune in [to] the BET Awards on Sunday,” the New York native started, “I have a special surprise.” The mother of two also took the time to reiterate that she wasn’t spoiling the news for sympathy– she genuinely wants her fans to watch. Further into the live, she said, “Yeah, watch out. Some motherf*cking weird sh*t is going on. Something’s in the water. I’m telling y’all.”

What do you think the “Bodak Yellow” artist has in store? Will you be tuning in to watch the show? Let us know in the comments.

Nick Cannon Honors His Late Son’s Birthday With A New Charity, Lighting Ceremony

Last year, Nick Cannon and Alyssa Scott endured the tragedy of losing a child. The death of their son, Zen, has understandably been devastating for the parents, and they continue to remember him in various ways.

On Friday, June 23, Cannon and Scott honored what would have been their son’s first birthday. At a lighting ceremony, the two announced that they would be founding “Zen’s Light,” a pediatric cancer foundation.

“June 23rd will forever be a day of celebration,” Cannon wrote in a post to Instagram. “A beautiful lighting ceremony to honor the life of an Angel.” He went on to describe the new foundation. The “‘Zen’s Light’ mission is to foster global excellence in hope, grief-care, and pediatric healthcare for families and children in need,” wrote Cannon. “Zen’s birth has now transformed into ‘Zen’s Light’.”

“Thank you for everyone who joined us at this inaugural event, specifically the Children’s Hospital of Orange County and our other beautiful partners,” Cannon continued. “Can’t wait for next year where our Lighting Gala will continue grow to help find a cure for pediatric cancer, further research and help console more families during difficult times.” He included photos of him and Scott partaking in the lighting ceremony and celebrating the announcement of the foundation.

Zen passed away in December of 2021 after a battle with brain cancer. Alyssa Scott posted a video of the child yesterday to honor his birthday. “Happy heavenly birthday Zen,” she wrote. “At the root of all the emotions I have today there is insurmountable love. I always try my best to remain positive but right now I can’t help but cry out ‘it’s not suppose to be like this’. In my mind I can see him smashing his cake and crawling around, tugging at my legs. But the reality is I will be the one to blow out his first candle. I will be wishing he was still here with us.”

Lil Nas X & NBA YoungBoy Light Up Our “Fire Emoji” Playlist This Weekend

Last weekend, we spotlighted CeeLo Green and Eminem’s collaboration from Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis biopic on our Fire Emoji update, and this Saturday, we have several other joint tracks (as well as some solo releases) for you to stream and share with your friends.

First up is “Real Talk” from Roddy Ricch’s 3-pack EP arrival, followed up Money Man’s “Cowboy” from his Big Money project, featuring G Herbo, Nardo Wick, BC Jroc, Benny the Butcher, Prezzy, and Juney Knotzz.

We also heard from a talented group – Dot Da Genius, Kid Cudi, Denzel Curry, and JID – as they linked up for “Talk About Me,” which is perfectly rivalled by another quad of rappers – YG, Tyga, 21 Savage, and BIA – on “Run.”

Next up we have an unexpected joint single from Lil Nas X and Louisana’s own YoungBoy NeverBrokeAgain called “Late To Da Party,” on which the “Ole Town Road” hitmaker continues to troll BET for their failure to nominate him for an award.

Our final addition from this New Music Friday is Eminem and Snoop Dogg’s “From The D 2 The LBC,” which fans of the rap legends have been absolutely loving – check it all out below, and let us know what songs you think we missed in the comments.
