Elon Musk’s Ex-Wife Supports Daughter’s Name Change: “I’m Very Proud Of You”

Just yesterday, it was reported that Elon Musk’s oldest child is in the midst of transitioning, and in doing so, plans to change her name from Xavier Musk to Vivian Jenna Wilson. The moniker switch is not only related to V’s gender identity, though – documents obtained by TMZ revealed that the 18-year-old is attempting to cut all ties with her famous father.

“I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form,” the young woman wrote while filing. Though her dad has yet to address the gossip, Vivian’s mother, Justine Musk, has spoken out with a telling tweet.

On the afternoon of June 20th, she logged onto Twitter to share a thoughtful conversation that she had with one of her kids. “‘I had a weird childhood,’ my 18-year-old said to me,” the Canadian author wrote. “‘I can’t believe I’m as normal-seeming as I am.'”

“I said, ‘I’m very proud of you,'” Justine informed her followers, to which her child responded, “I’m proud of myself!”

Though Vivian has a twin brother, Griffin, who’s also 18, it seems glaringly obvious who Justine was posting about, especially given yesterday’s headlines.

In other news, Elon Musk has been focusing most of his attention into Dogecoin as of late, continuing to show support for the controversial cryptocurrency, even after being faced with a $258B lawsuit for his involvement in an alleged pyramid scheme – read more about that here, and tap back in with HNHH later for more pop culture news updates.

Lil B Unveils New Project “The Frozen Tape”

There was a point in time where it felt overwhelming trying to keep up with all of the music that Lil B was dropping. His prolific output in the late 2000s and early 2010s made him an innovator and a pioneer for a new era in rap. These days, it doesn’t seem like he’s interested in keeping up with such a chaotic release schedule but he is still coming through with tons of music.

This week, the rapper slid through with a new mixtape that pays homage to Disney’s groundbreaking animated film, Frozen. The rapper delivered a 42-song effort this week titled, Frozen The Mixtape consists of original tracks, freestyles, as well as his NYU Lecture.

Check out the latest from Lil B below and let us know your thoughts in the comments.

The Game & HIt-Boy Charge Up On “Violence”

The Game ended his short-lived retirement late last year when he started teasing his new album, Drillmatic. The rapper started locking in with Hit-Boy and slowly, it became one of the most anticipated rap albums of 2022.

Following the release of “Eazy” ft. Kanye West earlier this year, The Game came through with his latest single off of the project, “Violence.” This time around, Hit-Boy brings out the horns and strings for an eloquent instrumental that juxtaposes Game’s fiery delivery. Despite a lengthy career that have produced many accolades, The Game sounds refreshed and hungry on his latest record. It’s clear that Hit Boy’s production is bringing some of the best efforts out of The Game in a minute.

Check out the latest from The Game below and sound off with your thoughts in the comments. Drillmatic drops on July 1st.

Quotable Lyrics
You rap n***as is Kriss Kross
I don’t respect n***as, only Nas and the big Dogg
And this time around, my pockets fatter than Rick Ross
She lick around the Glock ’cause I ain’t takin’ the blick off
N***as got me screwed up but I don’t sip sauce
I break down The Chronic then I smoke it like the exhaust

Air Jordan 2 “Lucky Green” Drops Next Year: First Look

Pretty well all of the 80s Air Jordan silhouettes are considered iconic, except for just one. That shoe just so happens to be the Air Jordan 2. This is a model that is oftentimes forgotten, however, it has received a bit of a resurgence in recent years thanks to Don C and Off-White collaborations. Now, Jumpman is looking to drop a plethora of new colorways, especially in 2023.

One Air Jordan 2 that fans can expect is the “Lucky Green” colorway, below. The photoshop rendering courtesy of @zsneakerheadz depicts a shoe that features a white leather upper, while the green portions are mostly highlighted on the cuff and the back heel. This is an extremely clean colorway, and there is no doubt that these will be popular amongst Jordan 2 stans. Perhaps now, the Air Jordan 2 will finally start getting its deserved recognition amongst casual fans.

For now, it is being reported that this shoe will drop on February 3rd of 2023 for a price that has yet to be determined at this time. Netflix Unveils Spooky “Stranger Things” Season 4 Volume 2 Trailer

Since its 2016 debut, Stranger Things has grown into one of the most popular Netflix originals of all time, and as the beloved show nears closer and closer to its ending, its fanbase only grows larger.

For its fourth season, the Matt and Ross Duffer-created project divided episodes into two volumes, first sharing seven episodes (spanning from 64 – 98 minutes long each) on May 27th, and now, they’re preparing audiences for the final two action-packed episodes of this edition, arriving on Friday, July 1st.

“I know you’re frightened,” Dr. Brenner (played by Matthew Modine) says in the newly released trailer. “You’re terribly frightened by what you’ve seen. But I’m not gonna lie to you. Your friends are not prepared for this fight. Hawkins will fall.”

The tense energy of the visual is only heightened by the use of the signature Stranger Things soundtrack music combined with Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” as viewers are shown views of monsters, the Upside Down and the destruction that comes with it, as well as the threat of Vecna himself.

As Complex notes, the penultimate episode spans an hour and 25 minutes while the finale will stretch longer than some movies, running for two hours and 30 minutes.

Luckily for fans, we still have one more season of Stranger Things to go – earlier this year they revealed that the hit show will conclude with its fifth edition. “Seven years ago we planned out the complete story arc of [our show],” the Duffer brothers said at the time.

“At the time, we predicted the story would last four to five seasons. It proved too large to tell in four, but—as you’ll soon see for yourselves—we are now hurtling toward our finale. Season 4 will be the penultimate season; Season 5 will be the last.”

The Game Drops ‘Violence’ with Hit-Boy

Drillmatic season is here.

As he gears up for his new album, The Game unleashes his new song “Violence.” Over the symphonic Hit-Boy beat, the Compton MC flexes his flow and name drops everyone from Beyoncé (“Rap ni**as got me waiting for a Beyoncé drop”) to Young Thug.

“Scream from the rooftop, ‘Free Young Thug’ / So I can reverse the war / Get Jigga on ‘One Blood,’” raps Game aka Geezy.

He also references his estranged relationship with Dr. Dre (“Andre, the Doc / Sometimes I pull up on him and the door still locked”) while taking shots at the competition (“You rap ni**as is Kris Kross / I don’t respect ni**as, only Nas and the Big Dawg”).

Drillmatic, which Game has declared the “best album of 2022,” is set for release next month featuring Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, G Herbo, and NBA YoungBoy, plus a collaboration with Chris Brown and Chlöe Bailey that samples Janet Jackson.
