Bhad Bhabie Calls Young Thug The GOAT Rapper And Names His Best Album

Young Thug’s currently incarcerated but if he never gets the chance to release another rap record, his impact on hip-hop will likely reverberate throughout the genre for the rest of his life and beyond. He’s influenced an entire generation — a generation that includes controversial Florida rapper and social media personality Bhad Bhabie of “catch me outside” fame, who called him the GOAT rapper in a new episode of Complex’s Goat Talk. The Florida rapper also gave her picks for sneakers, reality shows, movies, and more.

Pulling cards that asked for her GOAT in multiple categories, she enthusiastically used Thugger’s full government name when she came to the GOAT rapper card, leaning back to show off how she “got his f*cking lyrics tatted on the back of my leg.” “I’ll fight about it all day,” she vows. In addition, when the GOAT album card came up, she continued the Thug love fest, taking a moment to think about it before deciding. “I was gonna give it to Barter 6,” she admits, citing the 2015 mixtape named in homage to Lil Wayne. “But I have to give it to Slime Season 3, just because of ‘Worth It.’” Released the year after Barter 6, Slime Season 3 debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, which of course featured the fan-favorite Valentine’s Day anthem, “Worth It.”

Young Thug is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Deshaun Watson Settles 20 Sexual Assault Lawsuits

Just last week, Deshaun Watson was facing 24 sexual assault lawsuits, all stemming from allegations that he acted inappropriately with a whole slew of massage therapists. These allegations had been following Watson around since last March, and it seemed like he was willing to fight tooth and nail in court to prove his supposed innocence.

Now, however, it seems as though Watson is going the settlement route. According to a report from ESPN, it was revealed that Watson settled with 20 of the 24 women involved in the case. The attorney for these women, Tony Buzbee, has revealed that the settlement amounts will not be made public.

“We are working through the paperwork related to those settlements,” Buzbee explained. “Once we have done so, those particular cases will be dismissed. The terms and amounts of the settlements are confidential. We won’t comment further on the settlements or those cases.”

There are still four women who are actively suing Watson, including Ashley Solis who has been one of the most vocal alleged victims in this story. Buzbee praised Solis for her courage and noted that without her, others probably wouldn’t have had the courage to come out with their own stories.

As for Watson, he remains under investigation by the NFL, who is looking to make a punitive decision prior to the start of the NFL season.

Drake Chooses First Single Off Of “Honestly, Nevermind”

It was an unexpected turn of events on Thursday night when Drake announced that he was releasing a new album. The majority of folks were hoping that it would be better than Certified Lover Boy but it turns out that Honestly, Nevermindis a stark departure from what he’s delivered in the past 10 years of his career. Some aren’t as enthusiastic about his foray into the dance world while others have declared it to be his best project to date.

Over the past few days, many of whom initially denounced the project have come around to it. And while the project might not be the type that you’ll be listening to from front to back, there are certainly a handful of records worth revisiting.

Per Hip-Hop-N-More, Drake chose one of the most popular records off of the album as the first single. “Sticky” has reportedly been chosen as the first single which will be pushed on the radio beginning this week.

Many believed that Drake would’ve kicked off the summer campaign with “Falling Back,” which he released a music video for on the day he dropped the album. The video shows Drizzy marrying 23 women with Tristan Thompson serving as his best man.

After sitting with the album for the weekend, we want to know what your favorite song off of Honestly, Nevermind is. Sound off in the comments.

Skip Bayless Explains Why Warriors Title Needs An Asterisk

Skip Bayless has consistently been one of the biggest haters when it comes to sports talk television. This has made him a polarizing figure in the industry, however, you can’t help but admire his consistency. He helped give us the sports talk landscape we have now and for better or for worse, he changed the game entirely.

While Skip can mostly be found hating on LeBron James, Bayless also seems to have smoke for Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors won their fourth title in eight years last week, and Curry won his first Finals MVP. Despite all of these accomplishments, Skip believes they deserve some sort of asterisk.

In fact, Skip decided to go off on the championship parade itself, claiming that it made him physically ill.

“I didn’t love anything about this parade, it made me sick. The Warriors make me sick. All year long-beloved Steph got more and more showboaty on the floor as he shot a career-worst from 3. And now he belongs in the Top 10?!” Skip asked. “This championship deserves an asterisk for the fraudulent foe they faced in the Celtics.”

The Warriors certainly do not care about anything Skip has to say given they just came through with another huge victory. Either way, Skip is meant to instigate, and that is exactly what he is doing here.

Let us know what you think of Skip’s take, in the comments below.

Nardo Wick’s XXL Freshman Freestyle Has Arrived: Watch

Nardo Wick is one of the more reserved personas among XXL‘s 2022 Freshman inductees, though he didn’t hold back when it came time for him to spit some bars for the camera during his freestyle.

The Florida native’s video arrived earlier today (June 21) and finds him sitting among rows of statues, wearing a flashy chain and distressed skinny jeans, wads of cash poking out of his pockets.

“I need a hat that say,’ Rated’ / I ain’t rush this, I waited / I blew up they hated / Play with me, your life I take it,” the 20-year-old spits. “I need a hat that say, ‘Rated,’ ’cause I’m underrated / I was in debt with attention, I had to pay it / I love my Amiri jeans, they keep me saturated / And I love my 7.62s, they keep me well-protected.”

In an interview with XXL, Wick revealed that he spent his own freshman year of high school fantasizing about what it would be like to secure a spot among the other rappers on the annual life.

“I used to be thinking what I would say in the freestyle, how I’d freestyle, shit like that. ‘I would have like that beat if I was on there,’ shit like that.”

As the youngest name on this year’s list, the “Who Want Smoke?” hitmaker has a lot of pressure on his shoulders, but he appears to be up to the challenge of proving anyone that doubts him wrong.

Chris Brown and Normani Turn Up the Heat in ‘WE (Warm Embrace)’ Video

Just three days before Breezy drops, Chris Brown delivers the steamy video for “WE (Warm Embrace).”

The Arrad-directed clip co-stars Normani and was shot at the Invisible House in Joshua Tree, Calif. It opens with Chris falling out of the sky, soundtracked by one of his new Breezy cuts, “Sleep at Night.” Temperature keeps rising as he and Normani work up a sweat while showing off their intimate dance moves before diving into a pool and making out under the water.

Breezy also performs against the mirrored house with the desert in the background before cuddling up with Normani in an old school Mercedes. Their dreamy date ends with them being teleported into outerspace.

The “Warm Embrace” video follows the release of Chris’ Wizkid collaboration “Call Me Every Day” from Breezy, which drops June 24. Chris’ 10th studio album also features appearances from Lil Wayne, H.E.R., Jack Harlow, Fivio Foreign, and more.

Breezy will perform his new material live when his “One of Them Ones Tour” with Lil Baby kicks off July 15 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
