Amid Jaguar Wright’s many salacious allegations, she’s also questioned Ray J’s relationship with Whitney Houston and speculated on her death, theories and statements that Ray was absolutely appalled by. “First off, I want to say Whitney Houston was a very special person in my life.” he told The Reality Check. “She has a very special place in my heart. […] I’m not going to talk s**t about you, Jaguar. But when you are creating these stories and pushing narratives with no real basis, it’s clear that you’re doing some kind of attention-chasing or you’re doing this s**t for clout. Or just for negative destruction, right? Is that about seeking the truth? You want to stir up the pot for your own gain?

“I mean, really, we got to move away from this type of destructive energy and focus on building, not tearing down,” Ray J continued. “Our culture needs more truth and integrity, not chaos and confusion. People were listening. You got our attention. Is what you’re saying true? Because this s**t is outrageous. But I came to the conclusion that once I seen a story about me, and what you had to say about me and situations in my past, that is where I started to understand that you are totally fabricating stories and you are a complete liar. So that means that I have no respect for you and nothing you’re saying. So now I’ma go further. How dare you disrespect Jay-Z and Beyoncé? Jay-Z is an OG. Don’t ever disrespect Beyoncé.

“Because now that you’re lying on me, and I know for sure that all the s**t you’re saying is a lie, now you want to go for Beyoncé?” Ray J alleged. “Jaguar, you done f***ed up. Earlier this month, Joe Budden sparked a major debate, and now he’s doubling down. During a recent episode of his podcast, his co-host Ice asked “Who has the greatest mixtape discography?” Budden’s answer was simple but has since earned him some backlash. “Oh, that’s easy. Me,” he said.

After some discussion, Budden settled on a list of six names. “Yeah, I’m stopping it there: Jeezy, Wayne, 50, me, Fab and Kiss [Jadakiss],” he declared. Now, in response to the outrage over his remarks, he’s decided to clarify. In the newest episode of the podcast, he explained that he was simply sharing his own opinion, and wasn’t trying to persuade anyone to change their own.

Joe Budden Says He Was Just Sharing His Opinion

“I just want to announce that because my answer is something to a question, by no means am I trying to convince y’all to have the same answer or share in that,” Budden explained. “Yeah, I hate that sh*t. Answer a question on the pod and n****s want to come argue with you about your answer to a f*ckin’ subjective question. F*ck you n****s.” He went on, noting how he never actually said his mixtape discography was better than Lil Wayne’s, despite what some reports suggested.

Backlash over his mixtape remarks isn’t the only thing Budden’s fired back at recently, however. The Bad Boy mogul’s federal charges for alleged sex trafficking, plus many other civil allegations, remained unconfirmed and unverified at press time. But the Columbus native shared on the More 2 The Story podcast that Sean Combs’ absence also impacted the prevalence of normal celebrity parties.

“Never. I just never thought I would see it like this,” Bow Wow’s comments on Diddy began. “Like, nah. Nah. He’s like the gatekeeper to the game. To the point to where… What weekend just passed? “[It shows] how monumental and how important he was to the culture,” Bow Wow continued concerning Diddy. “Because I said, ‘Jermaine, I just, there’s no parties.’ Every year, dude had the – And you feel it. It’s like a hole, it’s like, ‘Damn.’ He was just such a gatekeeper, from the liquor in the clubs. Like, he was everything hip-hop. You know what I mean? So for that to die out, it’s like, you just would’ve never thought. Especially when you look at somebody as somebody you studied, somebody you idolized, somebody who you looked at like, ‘Yo. When it comes to hustle, when it comes to business, and how to run your s**t?’

Drake Shows New Side Of Himself While Performing At Toronto Jazz Club With His Dad

While Drake has a PARTYNEXTDOOR collab album dropping very soon, he’s still exploring other sonic directions and staying versatile as a performer. However, this new and small detail took many OVO fans by surprise, as we’ve never heard its mogul in this zone before. He recently went to a Toronto jazz club with his father Dennis Graham to briefly perform alongside Shane Philips and his band, hitting some bluesy and soft vocal notes before handing the mic off to his dad’s more booming voice. It’s almost a surreal clip, but not one that should really take us by surprise. After all, the Grahams are a very musically diverse crew.

Hopefully Drake taps into this sound and approach more, given that his vocals provide a unique take on these jazz/blues standards. It’s kind of similar to what he’s done on tracks like “Bahamas Promises,” but without the overt R&B/soul reimagining that those kinds of tracks have always championed. Instead, hearing the 6ix God throw things back even further would be something pretty special and refreshing, which might be exactly what he needs right now. He’s already expanding into Mexican regional music, so let’s hope he keeps it up.

The last time we saw Drake at a Toronto club was under much more bittersweet circumstances. “One things about Nostalgia, this party here?” he told the crowd during a recent appearance at the city’s annual Nostalgia party. “”My real friends are definitely in the building. But I’m going to tell you. You’re going to come to a point in life where people you thought were friends or people you thought were close to you, they might switch up.

Benzino says he’s working on a documentary film about the iconic 1995 Source Awards that he intends to release in 2025. He revealed his plans for the project during an interview with TMZ, earlier this week. The night was famous for several dramatic moments, including Andre 3000’s “the South got something to say,” declaration, Snoop Dogg’s confrontation with the New York City crowd, and more.

“I’m almost finished with my documentary that I’ve been working on for the last year,” Benzino told the outlet. “It’s going to really show people how that night changed Hip Hop forever. I got to interview a lot of people who were there that night but I can’t speak too much on it ’cause it’s not completed yet.”

Julia Fox says she regrets her relationship with Kanye West “so much.” The two dated for a short period in early 2022, following his split from Kim Kardashian. She made the revelation in an interview with The Times published on Saturday, in which he reflected on her recent memoir, Down the Drain. She referred to West as simply “the artist” in the book.

“I regret that relationship so much,” she said when asked about dating the controversial rapper. “I hate it! It was only a few weeks but enough to last me a lifetime. I was in probably the most uncomfortable position in my life and that’s saying a lot. I don’t want to be known for being anyone’s girlfriend.” She also revealed that she was against the two of them going public.

For their first collaborative effort, Vultures 1, they hope to land nominations in the Album Of The Year and Rap Album Of The Year categories. Off of that project, the single “CARNIVAL,” has been submitted for Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance.

Fans on social media haven’t been optimistic that West and Ty will win any of the awards. “As if the Grammys would let him win that sh*t,” one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote in response to a report from RapTV. Another fan posted: “No way this sh*t actually gets a Rap Album Of The Year nomination, let ALONE Album Of The Year.” One more fan wrote: “If this gets nominated over something actually good I’ll lose even more respect for the Grammys.”

The update comes after Eminem announced that Hailie was pregnant at the end of his new music video for, “Temporary.” In the piece, she hands him a football jersey that reads, “Grandpa,” as well as their sonogram image.

Speaking about the pregnancy during the latest episode of her Just A Little Shady podcast, she said: “We’re so excited, too. When we found out, Evan was like, ‘They’re going to hunt with me. They’re going to go golfing with me. I’ve got a little buddy.’ I was like, ‘Okay well they’re still going to Target with me.’”

During a previous episode of the podcast, Hailie discussed how she hid her pregnancy during her wedding with the help of her best friend, Brittany Ednie.
