The Los Angeles Clippers just gave head coach Ty Lue the bag. One of the best coaches in the NBA will now be one of the highest-paid, behind a new deal that will give him $14 million a year.
According to ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski, the new deal was finalized recently, completing a priority for Clippers owner Steve Ballmer and president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank.
“This is where I want to be,” Lue said in a statement. “I’ve loved coaching this team for the past four years and I’m excited to head into a new era at Intuit Dome. I’m grateful to Steve, Lawrence and the entire organization for the opportunity. With our ownership, front office, roster, staff and arena, we have all the advantages we need to win in the present and the future, and I’m confident we will.”
“T Lue is everything we want in a head coach,” Frank said in a statement. “He’s a brilliant tactician and a natural leader with an extraordinary ability to connect with those around him, both players and staff. Four years ago, we felt privileged to hire T Lue, and we feel just as fortunate today. There’s no one we’d rather coach our team. T Lue is a pillar of the organization and will be for a very long time.”
For the 2023-24 season, the Clippers finished fourth in the Western Conference with a 51-31 record before losing to the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the playoffs.
Overall, Latto is one of the most exciting new acts in hip-hop. Throughout the past few years, she has delivered some incredible singles, and her projects have managed to live up to the hype. Consequently, she has been booked and busy on the festival front. For instance, recently, she got to perform at the TwoGether Land Festival in Dallas. The artist was understandably proud of her performance and posted a clip from it on her Instagram page.

Instead, she is simply poking fun at those who are trying to take away from her moment, while also letting people know that she feels good, and looks good too.

Underground lo-fi rapper MESSIAH(!) has created something truly special with MAVI and Ovrkast on “silent heel”. This is the latest offering from the Charlotte, North Carolina native, who has been quite silent. In fact, this is his first release since his short 2022 solo album PERFECT 7 which featured seven cuts. But it seems that MESSIAH! has been reinvigorated to some degree with “silent heel” out.
As we mentioned, MAVI and Ovrkast. appear here, and the former is a frequent collaborator and fellow Charlotte native. Ovrkast. is best known for his beat making abilities, but he also provides some bars here. He opens up the lowkey cut with a verse that seems to be about a friend who is dealing with a severe drug addiction. Then, MESSIAH! comes through next and delivers a similarly impressive performance.

He gets real about living a passionate, go-getter type of lifestyle and how it can hurt you in some ways. Roddy Ricch is an artist who has been through a lot over the last few years. Overall, he delivered one of the best albums of 2019 with Please Excuse Me For Being Anti-Social. The album was absolutely incredible and contained some of the best pop-rap songwriting of the year. However, with subsequent projects like Live Life Fast and Feed Tha Streets III, fans felt like something was missing. It subsequently led to some people proclaiming that Roddy Ricch had fallen off.
In today’s day and age, fans are too fast when it comes to calling the downfall of an artist. It has been proven over and over again that one song is all it takes to get an artist back in the good graces of fans. Given Roddy’s track record when it comes to writing hits, there is no doubt that he still has a lot of gas left in the tank. In fact, the artist is ready to show that as he recently took to social media with an announcement. Later this year, he will be dropping off a new project called The Navy Album.
For now, it remains to be seen when this album will be released. It is slated to drop later this year, but we don’t have an exact release date at this time. Fans are hoping for a summer release, although there are no guarantees at this point. This was simply an initial announcement to get fans excited. So far, the mission has been accomplished. Fans out that way love her, and on Monday, Birmingham showed up and showed out for her.
During the show, Nicki surprised the fans by bringing back her alter-ego Martha. For those who may not know, Martha was a character that Nicki brought to the table on the original Pink Friday album from back in 2010. To mark the return of this alter-ego, Nicki decided to pay tribute to none other than Princess Diana. In the TikTok video below, you can see the moment that Minaj asked the crowd to hold a moment of silence for whom she described as a “dear friend.”

The surprise collaboration electrified the audience, adding excitement to the already highly anticipated event. Due to phenomenal fan demand, Nicki Minaj has announced the second leg of her record-breaking Pink Friday 2 World Tour, adding 22 additional North American shows. Kerry Washington has joined the cast of Knives Out 3, officially titled “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,” at Netflix. She joins a star-studded cast that includes Josh O’Connor, Cailee Spaeny, and Andrew Scott, alongside returning lead Daniel Craig.
Deadline first reported the news, and details about the plot and characters are being kept under wraps.
Rian Johnson returns as writer and director for the film and is producing alongside Ram Bergman. Production is expected to begin soon.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Johnson announced the film’s title and expressed his enthusiasm for the whodunit genre: “I love everything about whodunnits, but one of the things I love most is how malleable the genre is. There’s a whole tonal spectrum from Carr to Christie, and exploring that range is one of the most exciting things about making Benoit Blanc movies.”
This project adds to Washington’s busy schedule, which includes Netflix’s “Six Triple Eight” and Lionsgate’s “Shadow Force,” both in post-production. She also stars in and executive produces Hulu’s Onyx Collective comedy “UnPrisoned.”
