Will Coachella 2024 Add New Artists?
Coachella 2024 announced the festival lineup last month, with Lana Del Rey, Tyler The Creator, Doja Cat, and No Doubt set to headline in April. However, according to NME, the California festival has had trouble selling out tickets, which hasn’t been the case in previous years. This has been the festival’s slowest sales in nearly a decade, to be specific.
Because of this, there have been questions if Coachella will adjust the lineup at all to sell more tickets.
Here’s what to know if any new artists will join the Coachella lineup.
Will Coachella 2024 Add New Artists?
Currently, Coachella has not added any new performers to their lineup for 2024. That doesn’t mean that they won’t though. During the early years of the festival, as one example, they added the late Prince to the 2008 lineup — as they wanted to boost the view and perception. According to Reddit, that year’s lineup hadn’t been deemed as good, which explained the addition.
As some of the other commenters had noted though, it is very unlikely in 2024 — unless they did a surprise addition. One user pointed out that putting a larger artist into the lineup could break commitments to the other headliners.
So, right now, it is still up in the air.

There is perhaps no artist better suited for a Bud Light endorsement than Post Malone, who has been sponsored on a tour by the beer brand, appeared on special edition cans, and hosted a New Year’s Eve livestream produced by it (with Jack Harlow in tow, naturally).
So, a Post Malone-starring Bud Light Super Bowl commercial is not only a no-brainer, it might just be the highest form of art available to modern audiences (aside from this, of course).
The plot — such as it is — revolves around a “Bud Light Genie” who pops out of an ice cold bottle and immediately begins granting all sorts of over-the-top wishes, from invisibility and “Peyton Manning as a best friend” to a house party with Posty himself. And a T-rex. That was Posty’s wish.
Interestingly enough, Post Malone will also be included in the sporting festivities on Super Bowl Sunday. He’s billed to sing “America The Beautiful” — which I sort of can’t wait to hear. Let Post do the National Anthem next year, cowards. He was also recently tapped by the one and only Taylor Swift to appear on her surprise album, The Tortured Poets Department, along with Florence + The Machine (am I going to actually listen to a Taylor Swift album this year??? YIKES).

ScHoolboy Q Gives Us Contrasting Sounds On “Blueslides” & “Back In Love”
TDE and ScHoolboy Q fans can start to rejoice again! The gritty German-born MC is coming back with a new purpose in 2024. Q is back to provide his supporters with two tracks from his upcoming album BLUE LIPS. It will be the 37-year-old’s sixth project and his first since 2019’s CrasH Talk. That LP was more of a commercially-sounding release with more trap/pop rap-inspired cuts. That was especially the case with mainstream features such as Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Kid Cudi, and 21 Savage, among others.
However, “Blueslides” and “Back In Love” seem to hearken back to the days of the Blank Face LP. The first of the two brings a classical/jazzy sample into the fold where ScHoolboy raps in a thought-provoking manner. Besides being able to get introspective, Q can also dip into his banger bag. It is what makes him such an intriguing rapper and why fans are so amped for this tape.

“Back In Love” features production from TDE beatmaker Devin Malik and some mean-mugging rapping from Q. The beat on this one is stank-face-inducing. There are haunting and nimble piano keys that peek through some guitar riffing and howling. It is a grimy trap instrumental that pairs perfectly with ScHoolboy Q’s gravelly voice. The feedback for both songs is already extremely positive and for good reason. He is cooking up something truly special and we cannot wait for March 1. Unsurprisingly, he became lumped into the beef between Meg and Nicki. That came during a Twitter spaces with Joe Budden last week. It was an already controversial moment for the Nicki claimed that Meg’s shooting incident with Tory Lanez in 2020 was her trying to have a “Rihanna moment.”
While that comment justifiably took up most of the attention Nicki also took a pretty petty shot at Lil Ju. She described the producer as “doo doo on the beat,” which is so childish it’s almost hard to get offended by. That’s why it’s no surprise that Lil Ju was able to have some fun with the name.
